Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to evaluate the usability of digital learning media developed using Google Sites through a systematic and standardized measurement approach. The main focus is to identify whether the media is easy to use, engaging, and acceptable from the users’ perspective. Methodology: This study employed the System Usability Scale (SUS) method, combined with a literature review of related studies. The SUS questionnaire was used as the main tool for data collection, while scoring and analysis were performed with standardized calculation procedures to evaluate usability outcomes. Main Findings: The results showed that the digital learning media developed with Google Sites achieved an average SUS score of 79. This score falls into the “Good” category, equivalent to a grade scale of C, and is classified as “acceptable.” Users demonstrated positive perceptions regarding its usability, indicating effectiveness while also highlighting the need for further development. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study provides new insights into usability evaluation of Google Sites as a digital learning medium using the SUS method. It contributes by highlighting practical user perceptions and offering evidence-based recommendations for further improvement, thereby expanding knowledge about effective integration of accessible online platforms in education.

Abstract

This study aims to describe implementation of teaching strategies by teachers in introducing the concepts of colors and shapes at RA (Raudhatul Athfal) Ibnu Rusyid, Bandung Regency. The research highlights the importance of early childhood education as a golden period of child development, where appropriate stimulation significantly influences cognitive, song, motor, and character development. Teachers as the main facilitators in early childhood education institutions are required to be able to apply learning strategies that are effective, fun and in accordance with the characteristics of children, especially in introducing basic concepts such as colors and shapes. The study employs a qualitative descriptive method with teachers at RA Ibnu Rushid as the subject. Data were collected through observations and interviews. The results indicate that the teachers applied various learning strategies, including expository, contextual, and problem-based approaches. Teachers provide concrete learning media such as color cards, blocks, and everyday objects to facilitate children's understanding of color and shape concepts. Additionally, learning activities involve playing, singing, and hard-on practice that actively engage children in the learning process. The conclusion of this study is that effective teaching strategies combined with appropriate media use are highly effective in introducing color and shape concepts to early childhood learners. This research contributes to the development of early childhood education learning strategies and serves as a reference for educators in designing enjoyable and meaningful learning experiences for children.

Abstract

This research concerns the development of E-LKPD scan to adventure to improving the descriptive text writing skills of fourth-grade elementary school students. Development research design utilizes D&D type 1 which focuses on product design, development, and evaluation. The results of the feasibility test and field test are presented on a scale of 1-4 where categories 1 (strongly disagree), 2 (disagree), 3 (agree), 4 (strongly agree). The results of material validation obtained a mode score of 3 which had the "agree" category with the appropriateness of the material content and learning aspects, and the expert assessment of teaching materials obtained a mode score of 3 which had the "agree" category with the feasibility aspects of the E-LKPD components, the quality of the E-LKPD. LKPD and E-LKPD display. Meanwhile, from the field test results, the client's response to the use of the E-LKPD scan to adventure that was developed obtained a mode score of 4 with the category "strongly agree" in the aspects of the appropriateness of the material content and quality of the E-LKPD. From users' responses to the use of E-LKPD, they obtained a mode score of 4 with the category "strongly agree" on the material and quality aspects of E-LKPD.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi peran media pembelajaran berbasis peta digital (Google Earth) dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep penampakan alam pada mata pelajaran IPS di kelas V SD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain quasi eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol dan eksperimen di dua SD yang berbeda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi media pembelajaran berbasis peta digital memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap pemahaman konsep penampakan alam. Kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan Google Earth memperoleh peningkatan yang signifikan pada rata-rata posttest dibandingkan dengan pretest. Perbedaan kemampuan pemahaman konsep penampakan alam juga teridentifikasi antara siswa yang menggunakan media pembelajaran berbantuan peta digital dengan yang tidak menggunakan. Rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen (86.04) mengungguli rata-rata posttest kelas kontrol (65.62). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa Google Earth dapat efektif meningkatkan pemahaman konsep penampakan alam pada siswa kelas V SD.

Abstract

Inovasi terbaru yang menarik diciptakan oleh pencipta teknologi agar mampu bersaing yaitu sosial media Tiktok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak penggunaan aplikasi tiktok terhadap kesantunan berbahasa siswa, metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas V SDN Anggadita I. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi tiktok yang tidak bijak menyebabkan kesantunan berbahasa siswa menurun, siswa sering menggunakan bahasa yang kurang sopan saat berinteraksi dengan teman sebaya maupun dengan guru, dan siswa selalu mengikuti trend yang muncul tanpa memberi batasan. Kurangnya perhatian serta pengawasan dari orangtua menjadi salah satu faktor mudahnya siswa mengikuti bahasa yang kurang sopan yang mereka dengar pada aplikasi tiktok. Abstract

Self Regulation Learning (SRL) harus dimiliki siswa agar siswa mampu mengembangkan kesadaran belajarnya sendiri dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor kemampuan berbahasa yang mempengaruhi Self Regulation Learning (SRL) siswa di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survey korelasional dengan analisis jalur.  Metode analisis jalur menggunakan Partial Least Aquare - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) dengan aplikasi yang bernama SmartPLS 4.0. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor Language Aptitude/bakat bahasa memberikan pengaruh positif dan signifikan sebanyak 49% pada Self Regulation Learning (SRL). Artinya dapat disimpulkan  kesadaran siswa dalam belajar yang dipengaruhi oleh bakat bahasa sehingga mampu meningkatkan kemampuannya dalam menyimak suatu pelajaran.Keywords: Self regulation learning, kemampuan berbahasa

Abstract

In the 21st century, education demands that students acquire a wide range of adaptable skills to navigate technological advancements and global challenges. Elementary schools, as the foundational stage of formal education, play a crucial role in fostering multiliteracy skills. These skills encompass digital, visual, environmental, financial, and cultural literacy. The goal of multiliteracy is not only to enhance cognitive abilities but also to develop students' character and social responsibility. This study aims to examine how multiliteracy is developed in elementary schools to prepare students for the demands of 21st-century education. The research employs the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, which involves gathering, evaluating, and analyzing pertinent literature on the development of multiliteracy in elementary education. The SLR process includes formulating research questions, selecting keywords, searching scientific databases, and choosing and analyzing studies based on specific criteria. The findings indicate that implementing multiliteracy in basic education positively impacts the development of critical, creative, and adaptive skills, as well as the shaping of students' character. However, challenges in implementing multiliteracy in Indonesia include limited resources and teacher preparedness, necessitating policy support and further training for effective implementation.

Abstract

Pembelajaran di sekolah mulai disesuaikan dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi. Sejalan dengan tuntutan pendidikan saat ini yang mengarah pada pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan teknologi, pendidik harus mampu atau memiliki keterampilan dalam pemanfaatan tekhnologi. Salah satu cara pengembangan media pembelajaran agar dapat menarik motivasi belajar peserta didik yakni penggunaan media multimodalitas berbasis web dalam mengenal bentuk bangun. Media pembelajaran multimodalitas dapat menyajikan media audio, media video, media buku elektronik dan media dalam bentuk aplikasi permainan dalam satu waktu. Namun, dari pemanfaatan website masih belum maksimal dan masih banyak pendidik yang mengabaikannya. Berdasarkan uraian tersebut, maka peneliti bertujuan untuk mengembangan media pembelajaran multimodalitas berbasis web di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). Model UTAUT2 menunjukkan bahwa behavior intention, use behavior, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, hedonic motivation, price value, dan habit. Penelitian dilakukan di Kabupaten Cirebon dengan populasi 90 guru sekolah dasar dan jumlah sampel minimal 80. Penelitian dilakukan dengan analisis jalur struktur model persamaan (SEM) PLS. Hasil peneliitian menunjukkan bahwa Faktor Effort Expectancy, Hedonic Motivation, dan Percive Learning Oportunitis merupakan variabel yang berpengaruh besar. ICT Usage Habists merupakan variabel yang memiliki pengaruh sedang. Variabel Facilitating Conditions, Performance Expectancy, dan Social Influence merupakan faktor yang memiliki pengaruh yang sangat minim bahkan tidak berpengaruh.

Abstract

Students' low understanding of science learning concepts. This is caused by the presentation of unattractive teaching materials, which significantly reduces students' understanding of science concepts. This research aims to develop GAMPITU learning media products with a Project Based Learning design in science learning for grade IV elementary schools. This research uses the development of the DnD model with six development stages, namely identify the problem motivating the research (problem identification), describe the objective (describe the goal), design and develop the artifact (product design and development), subject the artifact to testing (trial product), evaluate the result of testing (evaluate test results), communicate those results (communicate test results). Based on the results of the research and development that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the GAMPITU learning media is given to teachers and students of class IV elementary schools whose implementation is based on project based learning. At the development stage, the results of product validation by teaching materials expert lecturers were 99.17%, technology experts were 92.5% and language experts were 90% and were declared feasible with slight revisions. Then the user response, namely teacher response as much as 94% and student response as much as 82% of students showed interest in Gampitu media and it can be stated that Gampitu media is considered practical and easy to use as a learning medium. Thus, GAMPITU learning media designed with PJBL is declared effective in increasing understanding of science concepts and fostering creativity in fourth grade elementary school students. Abstract

This research investigates the factors influencing the adoption of digital teaching materials based on inclusiveness and deep learning using Canva and Heyzine flipbook, guided by the UTAUT model. The study aims to identify key determinants that affect teachers’ and students’ behavioral intentions and actual usage of digital media in inclusive educational settings. A quantitative approach was employed through surveys involving 120 participants from inclusive schools, with data analyzed using multiple linear regression to examine the influence of performance expectancy, facilitating conditions, and social influence. Results show that all three variables significantly impact behavioral intention, with performance expectancy being the most dominant predictor (β=0.48, p<0.01). The model explains 87% of the variance in behavioral intention (R²=0.87). These findings highlight that perceived benefits, infrastructural support, and social environment are critical for successful adoption of inclusive digital learning media. The study provides practical insights for educators and policymakers to strengthen strategies that promote technology acceptance in inclusive education. Limitations include sample scope and cross-sectional data, suggesting the need for longitudinal and mixed-methods research in future studies.
