Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tipe-tipe kepribadian individu denganMyers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) pada mahasiswa Bimbingan dan Konseling diFakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Di samping tipe kepribadian,penelitian akan mengukur kompetensi konselor yang dimiliki oleh para subjek. Tujuanberikutnya adalah mengetahui perbedaan kompetensi konselor berdasar berbagai tipekepribadian. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik survey dengan menggunakan duainstrumen yaitu MBTI dan kompetensi konselor yang sudah diadaptasi dari AmericanSchool Counselor Association (ASCA) tahun 1992. Hasil menunjukkan subyek dengantipe ekstrovert berjumlah lebih banyak daripada yang introvert, cenderung memperolehinformasi dengan sensing daripada intuisi, membuat keputusan dengan feeling daripadathinking, dan orientasi terhadap dunia luar yang relatif sama antar subyek penelitian. Padakompetensi konselor, ada perbedaan rerata kompetensi pribadi pada subyek ekstrovertdan introvert (t=3.602 sig. p=.0.000) dan pada kompetensi keterampilan (t=2.167 sig.p=0.031). Sementara itu tidak ada perbedaan pada aspek pengetahuan dan professionalyang mana juga nampak pada tipe kepribadian sensing dan intuition, thinking dan feeling,dan judging dan perceiving

Abstract

Pembelajaran yang mengembangkan kemampuan sosial terutama keterampilan sosial belum dilakukan dengan perencanaan yang baik di Taman Kanak-kanak. Hal ini dapat mengakibatkan tujuan pembelajaran di Taman Kanak-kanak menjadi kurang terprogram. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan dari Dick & Carry yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan panduan program pembelajaran yang yang mengembangkan keterampilan sosial anak Taman Kanak-kanak. Subyek penelitian adalah para pendidik di Taman Kanak-kanak yang berasal di Kabupaten Sleman, Bantul, Gunung Kidul, Kulon Progo, dan Kotamadya Yogyakarta. Setiap kabupaten diwakili oleh 15 pendidik. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan pemberian angket dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) pada pendidik dan observasi pada anak menggunakan pedoman observasi berupa cheklist. Data yang sudah terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis dengan diskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data-data hasil dari FGD dan angket dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif, sedangkan data dari observasi melalui cheklist dianalisis dengan teknik statistik uji t parametrik untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan sosial anak TK setelah mendapatkan program pembelajaran menggunakan buku panduan yang menstimulasi keterampilan sosial. Hasil dari penelitian dengan terciptanya pedoman pembelajaran keterampilan sosial yang telah melalui evaluasi awal atau uji ahli dan ujicoba di lapangan. Hasil validasi ahli menunjukkan pedoman pembelajaran keterampilan sosial layak untuk digunakan setelah melengkapi daftar isi, evaluasi pembelajaran dan memperbaiki kesalahan tata tulis. Demikian pula hasil masukan dari pendidik TK menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan pedoman pembelajaran keterampilan sosial yang dibuat peneliti menunjukkan cukup baik dari aspek pembelajaran, tampilan. Hasil implementasi di TK menunjukkan bahwa panduan pembelajaran keterampilan sosial dapat meningkatkan rata-rata skor keterampilan sosial anak TK pada ketiga aspek keterampilan sosial dengan signifikan, yaitu pada pada aspek empati, afiliasi dan resolusi konflik, dan pengembangan kebiasaan positif.

Abstract

Pemaknaan hidup pada manusia dapat dihadirkan dari berbagai macam peristiwa, salah satunya adalah masuknya seseorang ke dalam lingkungan baru yang membuat individu memiliki pandangan yang baru ataupun pengalaman yang baru terhadap budaya tersebut. Instrumen pemaknaan hidup yang diuji peneliti mengukur makna hidup yang dihasilkan oleh mahasiswa rantau. Nilai reliabilitas yang dihasilkan oleh instrumen ini terbilang tinggi yaitu 0,924. Hasil analisis faktor eksploratori yang dilakukan oleh peneliti menghasilkan lima komponen penyusun makna hidup yang tersusun dalam 34 item. The meaning in life of overseas students: a exploratory factor analysis of the meaning in lifeThe meaning in life in humans can be presented from various kinds of events, one of which is the entry of a person into a new environment that makes individuals have new views or new experiences with that culture. The instrument of meaning in life that was tested by researchers measured the meaning in life produced by overseas students. The reliability value produced by this instrument is relatively high at 0.924. The results of the exploratory factor analysis carried out by the researchers produced five components that comprise life meanings arranged in 34 items.

Abstract

In recent years, research has highlighted the essential role of forgiveness in fostering interpersonal relationships and preserving social harmony. However, more precise measurement methods are necessary, particularly in the Indonesian context. The purpose of this study was to develop the Interpersonal Forgiveness Indonesian Scale. The investigation rigorously explores the construct by implementing confirmatory factor analysis. To evaluate the instrument's reliability, we used McDonald's omega coefficient. This study included 549 adults aged 18 to 35 from Yogyakarta, with a mean age of 23.09, including 258 males and 291 females. The loading values for revenge and avoidance factors were .724 to .841 and .796 to .845, respectively; while benevolence varied more, ranging from .538 to .824. The McDonald's omega value of .953 indicated excellent reliability. Robust correlations between the items and factors on the Interpersonal Forgiveness Indonesian Scale demonstrate its effectiveness and relevance in Indonesia. Future research should explore the dynamics of interpersonal forgiveness across diverse regions in Indonesia to gain a better understanding of the phenomenon within distinct cultural contexts.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of academic pressure felt by students. The process of higher education often causes academic pressure on students, especially when completing lecture assignments that are quite heavy which can cause academic procrastination behavior. This study aims to determine the influence of self-control and self-compassion on academic resilience. Academic resilience is defined as the resilience of students when faced with situations of academic pressure. The research method uses quantitative research with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The participants of this study amounted to 420 students. The results showed that there was an effect of self-control and self-compassion together on academic resilience in students with a significance value of 0.000 (p<0.05). Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an effect of self-control and self-compassion research on academic resilience to students. The implications of the study show the importance of being open to understanding difficult situations with adaptive abilities that foster academic resilience.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of school well-being and optimism on academic flow among senior high school students. The research is conducted in response to the observation that many students experience boredom, stress, and a lack of engagement in learning, which are characterized by low academic flow. A quantitative survey approach was employed. The population consisted of all 17.690 high school students in Yogyakarta City. The research sample comprised 377 students, selected through purposive sampling from three high schools in Yogyakarta City. The analysis revealed a positive and significant influence of school well-being and optimism on academic flow. Notably, three dimensions of school well-being, having, loving, and health, demonstrated significant effects on academic flow. The having dimension yielded a significance value of 0.003 (0.05), the loving dimension 0.001 (0.05), and the health dimension 0.000 (0.05), indicating that all three contribute significantly to academic flow. Conversely, the being dimension showed no significant effect, with a significance value of 0.717 (0.05). Furthermore, optimism also significantly affected academic flow, with a significance value of 0.000 (0.05). These findings suggest that well-being and optimism are essential to enhancing optimal learning experiences and academic flow among high school students.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a psychological measurement tool on self-compassion for adolescents. The sample consisted of adolescents aged 17 to 20 years, 97 participants (64 female, 33 male), the sample was randomly selected. Psychometric analysis involved content validity, item fit analysis, CFA, and reliability of the measure. Reliability results from psychometric analysis showed good internal results, from the results of CFA calculations showed that this scale has a fit model so it can be concluded that this adolescent self-compassion measurement tool can be used as a qualified scale to measure adolescent self-compassion.

Abstract

Economic crises can affect various aspects of family life, including finances, interpersonal relationships, and mental health. This research aims to explore family resilience in the face of the economic crisis with a focus on internal family dynamics and the adaptation strategies applied. The research method employed is qualitative, utilizing a case study approach. The study included 3 participants who had experienced an economic crisis, and they were interviewed using semi-structured interviews. This research analysis uses descriptive analysis. Data collection techniques using interviews and observations. The results showed that the family belief system was the main driver in facing difficulties. Adaptive strategies, such as strict budget management and open discussions on financial matters, proved effective in maintaining the financial stability and well-being of family members. Communication patterns used during the crisis also played an important role, with families that used open communication tending to be better able to cope with conflict and stress. This study concludes that family resilience in the face of economic crisis is the result of a combination of strong belief systems, effective adaptation strategies, and open communication patterns that support cooperation and solidarity between family members. The findings provide important insights for development programs and policies that can help families cope with the economic crisis.

Abstract

The high level of interest from researchers in the study of psychological well-being necessitates the development of psychological well-being measurement tools in various contexts and cultures, particularly among high school adolescents in Indonesia. This study aims to modify the Indonesian version of the adolescent psychological well-being scale so that it can be used in the context of high school student respondents in Indonesia. The researchers also want to confirm whether the measurement model fits the four-dimensional theory in the context of high school students. This quantitative study involved 420 high school students across all grade levels, residing in South Jakarta, both male and female, and aged around 14-19 years. This study examines three studies: content validity testing by expert judgment using the Gregory format, construct validity testing using the second-order Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) technique, and composite reliability testing using the stratified alpha formula. After going through the modification and adjustment stages, the developed measurement tool can obtain fit and reliable results on 18 items with four dimensions. This can be proven by obtaining a model that meets the fit parameter criteria (CFI = 0.952; TLI = 0.943; SRMR = 0.0516; RMSEA = 0.0451; χ²/df index = 1.8), high Gregory content validity coefficient, and a composite reliability coefficient value of 0.844.Besarnya antusias peneliti terhadap kajian tentang kesejahteraan psikologis memerlukan banyak pengembangan alat ukur kesejahteraan psikologis di berbagai konteks dan budaya, khususnya pada remaja SMA di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memodifikasi skala kesejahteraan psikologis remaja versi Indonesia agar dapat digunakan pada konteks responden siswa SMA di Indonesia. Peneliti juga ingin mengonfirmasi model alat ukur tersebut apakah fit dengan teori empat dimensi pada konteks siswa SMA. Penelitian kuantitatif dengan subjek berjumlah 420 siswa SMA di seluruh jenjang kelas, berdomisili di Jakarta Selatan, berjenis kelamin laki-laki maupun perempuan, dan berusia sekitar 14-19 tahun. Penelitian ini mengkaji tiga studi yang meliputi uji validitas isi oleh expert judgement dengan format Gregory, uji validitas konstruk dengan teknik second order Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), dan uji reliabilitas komposit dengan formula alpha berstrata. Setelah melalui tahap modifikasi dan penyesuaian, alat ukur yang dibangun dapat memeroleh hasil yang fit dan reliabel pada 18 butir aitem dengan empat dimensi. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dengan perolehan model yang sesuai dengan kriteria parameter fit (CFI = 0.952; TLI = 0.943; SRMR = 0.0516; RMSEA = 0.0451; indeks χ²/df = 1.8), koefisien validitas isi Gregory yang tinggi, dan nilai koefisien reliabilitas komposit sebesar 0.844.

Abstract

The phenomenon of low social well-being is caused by a decline in socially conscious behaviors in adolescents and a lack of social support, which leads to a lack of social connection. Some previous studies have shown that peer social support affects social well-being, although other studies do not support this finding. This study suggests that there may be other factors (moderators) that affect the peer social support variable on social well-being, specifically savoring. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of peer social support on social well-being with savoring as a moderator variable. This research was a quantitative study with a survey type, which was conducted on high school students in the city of Yogyakarta with a sample size of 291 students. The sample determination in this study employed a cluster random sampling technique, while the data collection utilized peer social support, social well-being, and savoring scales. Instrument validity used content validity, construct validity, and reliability based on Cronbach's Alpha with α peer social support scale = 0.947, α social well-being scale = 0.814, and α savoring scale = 0.791. Data analysis techniques using macro process by Andrew F. Hayes. The results of this study show that there is no interaction between savoring and peer social support against social well-being. This suggests that savoring is unable to moderate the impact of peer social support on adolescents' social well-being. Therefore, savoring can't change the effect of peer social support on social well-being in adolescents.Fenomena rendahnya social well-being diakibatkan oleh merosotnya nilai perilaku kepedulian sosial pada remaja dan kurangnya dukungan sosial sehingga remaja tidak merasa terhubung secara sosial. Beberapa penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan bahwa peer social support berpengaruh terhadap social well-being meskipun penelitian lain tidak mendukung. Penelitian ini menduga bahwa terdapat faktor lain (moderator) yang turut mempengaruhi variabel peer social support terhadap social well-being yaitu savoring. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menguji pengaruh peer social support terhadap social well-being dengan savoring sebagai variabel moderator. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis survei. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa SMA/MAN di kota Yogyakarta dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 291 siswa. Penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling, sedangkan pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan skala peer social support, social well-being dan savoring. Validitas instrumen menggunakan validitas isi, validitas konstruk dan reliabilitas berdasarkan Alpha Cronbach dengan α skala peer social support = 0.947, α skala social well-being = 0.814 dan α skala savoring = 0.791. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Macro Process by Andrew F. Hayes. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat interaksi antara savoring   dan peer social support terhadap social well-being. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa variabel savoring tidak dapat memoderasi pengaruh peer social support terhadap social well-being pada remaja. Oleh karena itu, dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa savoring tidak dapat mengubah pengaruh peer social support terhadap social well-being pada remaja.
