Abstract

The background of this study focuses on the low understanding of the Javanese script caused by a monotonous and uninteresting learning approach. This study aims to identify the effectiveness of joyful learning in increasing students’ interest and knowledge of the Javanese script. This study was conducted at SD 1 Padurenan, focusing on fourth-grade students. The method used is a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design, involving 17 students as the sample. Data were collected through written tests, interviews, and documentation. The study showed a significant increase in understanding of Javanese script after implementing joyful learning, with an average pretest score of 50 and a posttest score of 82.49. The N-Gain test yielded an average score of 0.6564, indicating a fairly substantial increase. The conclusion of this study shows that applying the principle of joyful learning effectively improves students’ understanding of Javanese script concepts, with implications for the importance of using innovative approaches to learning. The joyful learning principle was applied in this study through the use of the Teams Games Tournament learning model, Javanese script snakes-and-ladders learning media, and student feedback during the learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berdasarkan pada kurangnya pengetahuan budaya lokal pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan media monopoli budaya lokal (MOBUKAL) Kota Kudus terhadap pemahaman konsep budaya lokal bagi peserta didik kelas IV di SDN 1 Kedungdowo. Penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain Pre Experimental Design bentuk one group pretest-posttest ini akan dilakukan di kelas IV SDN 1 Kedungdowo dengan subjek penelitian 29 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi teknik observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis data statistik deskriptif yang berupa uji normalitas data dan uji paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan terhadap pemahaman konsep budaya pada peserta didik. Hasil  uji paired sample t-test diperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,000 < 0,05. Maka, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media monopoli budaya lokal (MOBUKAL) kota kudus dapat berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan pemahaman konsep budaya bagi peserta didik kelas IV SDN 1 Kedungdowo.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar masih terdapat permasalahan, yaitu guru masih menggunakan metode ceramah yang berpusat pada guru tanpa adanya interaksi antara guru dan siswa. Selama kegiatan pembelajaran berlangsung, terlihat beberapa siswa, terutama siswa laki-laki, cenderung bermain sendiri, sibuk dengan teman-temannya. Dan masih ada beberapa siswa yang membacanya masih terbata-bata, ada juga siswa masih mengeja setiap kata saat membaca. Hal tersebut terjadi karena keterampilan membaca permulaan siswa masih rendah.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca permulaan siswa kelas I SD Negeri 3 Sidigede melalui penerapan metode Steinberg berbantuan dengan media flashcard berbasis Augmented Reality. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan desain yang mengacu pada model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 20 siswa kelas 1 yang terdiri 11 perempuan dan 9 laki-laki. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes,  dokumentasi, dan analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode analisis data kualitatif dan analisis data kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan membaca permulaan secara signifikan pada setiap siklusnya. Presentase ketuntasan belajar siswa yang awalnya dari 55% dengan nilai rata-rata 70,15 pada pra siklus, kemudian meningkat menjadi 60% dengan memperoleh nilai rata-rata 81,25 pada siklus I, dan meningkat mencapai 80% dengan nilai rata-rata 89,5 pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tindakan kelas yang telah dilaksanakan dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode Steinberg yang berbantuan dengan media flashcard berbasis Augmented Reality dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca permulaan siswa kelas I.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the types of student delinquency and teacher effort in responding to and handling student delinquent behavior at SDN 09 Panggang Jepara. The research method uses descriptive qualitative. The subject of the study was SDN 09 Panggang Jepara. Data collection techniques were interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used data collection, data presentation, data reduction, and data conclusion. The results of the study showed that the types of student delinquency were divided into three levels, namely mild delinquency, moderate delinquency, and severe delinquency. The strategies used by teachers in overcoming student delinquency differ according to the level of student delinquency. The strategies used are by making policies to be obeyed together, instilling positive cultural habits, implementing preventive efforts with consistent rules, repressive efforts by implementing a triangle of restitution in handling problems, and curative efforts by paying special attention to students who commit delinquency. The conclusion of the study with the existence of teacher strategies in overcoming delinquency makes students more careful, does not repeat, and students obey teachers.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low reading skills of Javanese script of fifth grade students at Pati. Wetan 03 Public Elementary School as seen from the results of observations and interviews that have been given to teachers and students. The purpose of this study is to explain the effectiveness of PUZAWA media containing the character of love for the homeland on Javanese script reading skills. This research was conducted at Pati Wetan 03 Public Elementary School. The type of research used is quantitative experiment with One group pretest posttest design. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and tests. While the data analysis techniques used are normality test and paired sample t test. The results of this study indicate that the paired sample t test obtained a significant value (2-tailed) from this study is 0.000 (p <0.05). Supported by an increase in pretest posttest values showing that the media used is effective for learning to read Javanese script.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low writing skills of students due to teacher-centered learning so that students tend to be passive. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model on writing skills of procedural text writing skills in fourth grade students of SDN Mranak 2. The study used a quantitative method with a Pre-Experimental One-Group Pretest–Posttest design on 24 students, with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and written tests. Data analysis used a paired sample T-Test to determine the average difference and the N-Gain Effectiveness Test to determine the interpretation of effectiveness with the help of SPSS 27. The results of the study showed a significance value of 0.001 <0.05 so that H_0 was rejected and H_a was accepted and the N-Gain value of 60.43% was included in the category of moderate effectiveness interpretation. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is effectiveness in the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model assisted by smartstep media in in-depth learning on procedural text writing skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia materi fakta opini melalui model problem based learning berbantuan media kantong petani pada siswa kelas IV SDN 3 Sidigede. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 3 Sidigede Jepara. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah: 1)  Observasi, 2) Wawancara 3) Dokumentasi 4) Tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dari pra siklus ke siklus I dan ke siklus II dapat dilihat dari perolehan ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada pra siklus yaitu 15% yang tuntas, siklus I yaitu 40% siswa yang tuntas, pada siklus II yaitu: 75% siswa yang tuntas. Hal ini membuktikan penggunaan model Problem Based Learning dan media dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN 3 Sidigede.

Abstract

Regional languages play an important role in maintaining cultural identity and politeness values in a multicultural society. However, the use of Javanese, particularly the krama variety, has shifted among the younger generation due to the dominance of Indonesian in various social domains, including educational settings. This situation poses challenges in efforts to maintain regional languages, especially at the elementary school level, which is the phase in which students' language habits are formed. This study aims to analyze the impact of a Javanese language familiarization program on improving elementary school students' mastery of krama vocabulary and politeness as part of a regional language preservation strategy. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The research subjects included the principal, class teachers, and students at Pati Kidul 01 Public Elementary School. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and interactive conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the familiarization program, which is implemented routinely every Thursday, has an impact on increasing the use of krama vocabulary in formal communication in the classroom. Furthermore, there was an increase in students' politeness in terms of speech and attitude, demonstrated through the use of respectful expressions, more refined diction, and changes in nonverbal behavior in interactions with teachers. These findings imply that familiarizing yourself with Javanese can be an effective pedagogical strategy for strengthening communicative competence while supporting the ongoing maintenance of regional languages in formal educational settings.

Abstract

This study aims to improve learning outcomes in the subject of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) through the implementation of the Discovery Learning model assisted by cultural quartet card media. The research subjects were 16 fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Kalirejo. This research was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, each consisting of the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. In the pre-cycle stage, learning was still teacher-centered and showed low student achievement, with only 25% of students reaching the minimum mastery criteria. After implementing the Discovery Learning model combined with the cultural quartet card media, students' active involvement in the learning process increased. The results showed a significant improvement: classical learning mastery rose from 68.75% in cycle I to 81.25% in cycle II. The average student score also increased from 75.37 to 81.57. It can be concluded that the use of the Discovery Learning model assisted by cultural quartet card media is effective in improving IPAS learning outcomes and supports active and meaningful learning in accordance with the Merdeka Curriculum principles

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas media pembelajaran konkret berupa roda putar interaktif bernama SIPANDA (Si Putar Pancaindra) dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS materi pancaindra. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDI (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation). Subjek penelitian meliputi ahli media, ahli materi, guru, dan siswa kelas IV SDN 3 Jepangpakis. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket validasi dan angket respon menggunakan skala Likert. Hasil validasi menunjukkan media SIPANDA memperoleh skor rata-rata 4,5 dari ahli media (sangat baik), dan 4,0 dari ahli materi (baik). Respon guru mencapai 70% (baik) dan respon siswa mencapai 89% (sangat baik). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa SIPANDA valid, layak digunakan, dan efektif dalam mendukung pembelajaran IPAS yang menyenangkan dan interaktif.
