Abstract

The results of observations conducted on the students of Class VI SDN 2 Kalirejo on 7-9 December 2019, showed the lack of learning activities caused by the limited textbooks, the lack of material on textbooks related to student life and teacher-centered learning. So, based on needs analysis, adequate textbooks are needed in line with the number of students whose material is derived from the daily life of students and the application of relevant learning strategies is a must. Efforts made to overcome this is conducting research and development that aims to produce the contextual-based, valid, interesting, practical and effective textbooks of Social Science (IPS). The model used in this research and development was 4D model. The 4D model (Thiagarajan, S., Semmel, DS, & Semmel, MI: 1974)) consists of Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. Teaching-learning process used contextual approach or Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). The data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The data was based on the assessment of material and linguists experts were considered valid. The results of product attractiveness test from the questionnaire given to students and teachers showed very interesting criteria. This material was very practical. This was based on the result of observing teacher activities and student learning activities. The product was also considered to fulfill the effective criteria. Based on the results of the analysis, the contextual textbook for Class VI on social science of Primary School was eligible and could be used in the learning process because it had reached the valid, attractive, practical and effective criteria.

Abstract

Dewasa ini  masalah karakter  menjadi pusat perhatian  pendidikan karena   karakter buruk marak terjadi di kalangan anak. Pembenahan karakter buruk itu dapat dilakukan dengan cara meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan karakter dengan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai karakter ke dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.  Untuk membentuk generasi yang berkarakter, sekolah harus memiliki program khusus dalam melaksanakan praktik pendidikan karakter. Namun, sekarang ini masih banyak lembaga PAUD yang belum memiliki program khusus penguatan pendidikan karakter. Adanya pelatihan dan workshop sangat diperlukan agar dapat meningkatkan wawasan serta kemampuan guru menyusun program PPK di PAUD. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan workshop dan pelatihan PPK ialah menggunakan berbagai informasi, diskusi, dan workshop dengan menggunakan pendekatan Andragogi. Hasil workshop dan pelatihan menghasilkan bahwa peserta mengalami peningkatan wawasan dan kemampuan dalam menyusun program PPK di sekolah.  Disimpulkan kemampuan Guru PAUD menyusun program PPK meningkat setelah mengikuti workshop PPKKata Kunci: Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter, PAUD

Abstract

The 21st century requires the availability of human resources with seven skills or competence (Maftuh, 2016), namely: 1) critical thinking and problem solving skills, 2) creative and innovative, 3) behave ethically, 4) flexible and quick to adapt, 5) competence in ICT and literacy, 6) interpersonal and collaborative capabilities, 7) social skills and cross-cultural interaction. One of the competence of human resources of the 21st century are behaving ethically should be established and developed through learning that includes the study of ethics because ethical behavior can not be created and owned as it is by human, but must proceed through solving problem, especially ethical dilemma solving on the ethical problems atau problematics of ethics.The fundamental problem, in order to ethical behavior competence can be achieved through learning, is the right model of learning is not found yet by teachers to implement the learning associated with ethical values as expected in character education (Hudha, et al, 2014a, 2014b, 2014c). Therefore, it needs a decent learning model (valid), practical and effective so that ethics learning, to establish a human resources behave ethically, can be met.Thus, it is necessary to study (to analyze) and modificate the steps of learning (syntax) existing learning model, in order to obtain the results of the development model of learning syntax. One model of learning that is feasible, practical, and effective question is the learning model on the analysis and modification of syntax model of social learning, syntax learning model systems behavior (Joyce and Weil, 1980, Joyce, et al, 2009) as well as syntax learning model Tri Prakoro (Akbar, 2013). Abstract

Abstract: KOMPAK (Youth Community of Care and Anti Poverty) is a youth community that help eradicate poverty. The community has a focus on learning and education.  This article describes the youth community role to encourage underprivillaged students in Bunulrejo Malang city.  This study aims to examine the role of youth community to empowering society’s education and citizens empowerment by KOMPAK (Youth Community of Care and Anti Poverty). This study used a qualitative approach with phenomenology design. Checking the validity of the data using the source triangulation method. The subjects of the study were community administrators, students, alumni and parents. The result of the study are as follows. The role of youth community are 1) financing of school fees for underprivileged students, 2) free tutoring for underprivillaged students and 3) career coaching for students. Whereas the citizens empowerment are 1) involving the citizens to become donors to the community, 2) helping to reduce poverty through educational and learning activities for underprivileged students, 3) the citizens and parent s felt helped and blissful because of all benefits given by this community.Keywords: youth community, youth empowerment, community role Abstrak: KOMPAK (Komunitas Pemuda Peduli dan Anti Kemiskinan) merupakan komunitas pemuda yang membantu pengentasan kemiskinan. Masyarakat memiliki fokus pada pembelajaran dan pendidikan. Artikel ini mendeskripsikan peran komunitas pemuda untuk mendorong siswa kurang mampu di kota Bunulrejo Malang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran komunitas pemuda dalam pemberdayaan pendidikan masyarakat dan pemberdayaan warga oleh KOMPAK (Komunitas Pemuda Peduli dan Anti Kemiskinan). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologi. Pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan metode triangulasi sumber. Subyek penelitian adalah pengurus masyarakat, mahasiswa, alumni dan orang tua. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut. Peran komunitas pemuda adalah 1) pembiayaan biaya sekolah bagi siswa kurang mampu, 2) bimbingan belajar gratis bagi siswa kurang mampu dan 3) pembinaan karir bagi siswa. Sedangkan pemberdayaan warga adalah 1) melibatkan warga untuk menjadi donatur bagi masyarakat, 2) membantu pengentasan kemiskinan melalui kegiatan pendidikan dan pembelajaran bagi siswa kurang mampu, 3) warga dan orang tua merasa terbantu dan bahagia karena semua manfaat yang diberikan ini. masyarakat.Kata kunci: komunitas pemuda, pemberdayaan pemuda, peran masyarakat

Abstract

Abstract: This research was aimed to describe the planning, implementation, assessment, obstacles, efforts, and impacts in the application of integrated thematic learning in SDN Purwoasri 2 and SDN Mranggen in Kediri. This research is a qualitative descriptive. The data of this study were collected through observation, interview and document study. The results showed (1) lesson planning, teachers successfully designed lesson plans covering all components of curriculum 2013, (2) implementation, the teacher used thematic by integrating subjects on basic competencies and learning activities using a scientific approach, (3) assessment, including knowledge, attitudes and skills, (4) obstacles, the limited time in designing lesson plans, lack of teaching variation, difficulties in stimulating questioning activities, limited facilities and assessment, (5) efforts, the teacher prepares lesson plans, variations in learning, uses the media and the surrounding environment, follows the KKG on assessment, (6) the impact of knowledge is lower than students' skills and attitudes.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, penilaian, hambatan, upaya, dan dampak pembelajaran tematik terpadu di SDN Purwoasri 2 dan SDN Mranggen. Penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian (1) perencanaan, guru membuat RPP sesuai komponen Kurikulum 2013, (2) pelaksanaan, guru memadukan KD pada mata pelajaran (tematik) melalui pendekatan saintifik, (3) penilaian, mencakup pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan, (4) hambatan, alokasi waktu membuat RPP, variasi belajar, kegiatan menanya, sarana prasarana dan penilaian masih kurang, (5) upaya, guru menyusun RPP, variasi belajar, menggunakan media dan lingkungan sekitar, mengikuti KKG tentang penilaian, (6) dampak pengetahuan lebih rendah dibandingkan keterampilan dan sikap siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the aplication of Lesson study based cultural of Special Region Yogyakarta (DIY) in the class V. The problem in this research is how the implementation of lesson study based cultural of DIY in class VB SD Islam Surya Buana. The purposes of this study to determine the application of the lesson study based cultural of DIY in class VB SD Islam Surya Buana. Collecting data in this study using techniques of documentation, observation, and interviews. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis techniques. The results showed that the implementation of lesson study based cultur DIY study received a positive response from students and teachers.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan lesson study berbasis budaya Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) di kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana penerapan lesson study bermuatan budaya DIY  di kelas VB SD I Surya Buana. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penerapan lesson study berbasis budaya DIY di kelas VB SD I Surya Buana. Pengambilan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik dokumentasi, observasi, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisa deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan lesson study berbasis budaya DIY mendapat respon yang positif dari siswa dan guru.

Abstract

Abstract: The development of early childhood can be various in terms of abilities, talents, personality, creativity, physical, and psychological. The numeracy skills by children age 5—6 years is mentioning number 1—10, counting with symbol of numbers, matching numbers with symbol of numbers, recognizing the symbol of letters and consonant, sorting symbol of numbers. The purpose of this study was to describe the numeracy ability of children aged 5—6 years. This study used qualitative research method. The result showed that children’s numeracy skills were influenced by internal and external factors and the learning strategies used.Abstrak: Perkembangan anak usia dini berbeda-beda dari segi kemampuan, bakat minat, kepribadian, kreativitas, baik perkembangan fisik maupun psikis. Kemampuan berhitung yang dimiliki anak usia 5—6 tahun yaitu menyebutkan bilangan dari angka 1—10, menghitung dengan lambang bilangan, mencocokan benda dengan angka, mengenal bentuk huruf dan konsonan, mengurutkan lambang bilangan. Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan kemampuan berhitung pada anak usia 5—6 tahun. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berhitung anak dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal serta strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe in depth observations on the role of the family and teachers in building the character of students broken home at primary school age. This study used a qualitative approach - a case study. Technique data collecting by interview and observation (at school and home visit) in depth. Subjects of the study included two students broken home. This study menunjukkan that parents (mother) and another family (grandparents, aunts, uncles) that play a role in the child's everyday life. The results of this study are expected to package and represent the role of parents and teachers in building the character of students broken home. So as to cover all levels of students victims of a broken home.Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan hasil pengamatan secara mendalam tentang peran keluarga dan guru dalam membangun karakter kepada siswa broken home di usia sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif - studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara, dan observasi (di sekolah dan home visit) secara mendalam. Subjek dari penelitian mencakup 2 siswa broken home. Penelitian ini menujnjukkan bahwa orangtua (ibu) dan keluarga lain (kakek, nenek, bibi, paman) yang berperan dalam keseharian anak. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan mampu mengemas dan mewakili peran orangtua dan guru dalam membangun karakter siswa broken home. Sehingga mampu mengcover semua lapisan siswa korban keluarga broken home.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was aimed to see the portrait and to examine School Literacy Movement implementation in elementary school in accordance with Permendikbud 23/2105 related to implementation stages, problems in implementation, and achievement of School Literacy Movement. This research was designed using qualitative approach with case study. The conclusion is that the implementation of School Literacy Movement has not been fully compliant witH the School Literacy Movement guidelines. Implementation of School Literacy Movement in SDN Lesanpuro IV still up to the stage of habituation with the percentage of achievement that is equal to 63.8%. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat potret dan mengkaji pelaksanaan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah di Sekolah Dasar sesuai dengan Permendikbud No. 23/2015 terkait tahapan pelaksanaan, masalah dalam pelaksanaan, dan pencapaian Gerakan Literasi Sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Simpulan yang diperoleh yaitu pelaksanaan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah belum sepenuhnya sesuai buku panduan. Pelaksanaan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah di SDN Lesanpuro IV masih sampai pada tahap pembiasaan dengan persentase ketercapaian sebesar 63,8%.

Abstract

This study aims to produce character education based teaching materials for grade IV elementary school. The writer used the 4D model (Thiagarajan, et al., 1974) for his research and development. The 4D model consists of four stages. They are defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. Types of data used are qualitative. Data were collected by validity testing, questionnaire, observation, and character assessment. This study produced a character education based teaching materials for grade IV elementary school. That is the student book and the teacher book. The results showed that character education based teaching materials for grade IV elementary school is compliant to use in learning since it has met the expected criteria according to the assessment of the material experts, linguists, media experts, teachers, and students.Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan bahan ajar berbasis pendidikan karakter untuk kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Model penelitian dan pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan 4D (Thiagarajan, dkk., 1974). Model 4-D ini terdiri atas tahap pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), pengembangan (develop), dan penyebaran (disseminate). Jenis data yang digunakan yaitu data kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui uji validasi, angket, observasi, dan penilaian karakter. Penelitian ini menghasilkan bahan ajar berbasis pendidikan karakter untuk kelas IV Sekolah Dasar yang terdiri atas Buku Siswa dan Buku Guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar berbasis pendidikan karakter untuk kelas IV Sekolah Dasar ini telah memenuhi persyaratan untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran karena telah memenuhi kriteria menurut penilaian ahli materi, ahli bahasa, ahli desain, guru, dan siswa.
