Abstract

This research aims to describe of implementation authentic assessment on contextual teaching and learning of the fraction. The subjek of this research is 28 students fourth grades of elemantary school in academic year of 2016/2017. The implementation of authentic assessment in the contextual teaching and learning of the fraction especially performance assessment is. (1) constructing of the students knowledge, (2) observation to find of the problem, (3) using question activity, (4) disscution (using performance assessment), (5) give the models in the learning (using performance assessment), (6) reflection (using performance assessment). Authentic assessment especially performance.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan penerapan asesmen autentik dalam pembelajaran kontekstual pada materi pecahan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 28 siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Penerapan asesmen autentik dalam pembelajaran kontekstual pada materi pecahan, khususnya asesmen kinerja terbagi dalam enam jenis, yaitu (1) mengembangkan pengetahuan siswa, (2) melaksanakan pengamatan untuk menemukan permasalahan, (3) mengembangkan rasa ingin tahu siswa dengan kegiatan bertanya, (4) menciptakan masyarakat belajar dengan diskusi (asesmen kinerja), (5) menghadirkan model dalam pembelajaran (asesmen kinerja), dan (6) melaksanakan refleksi (asesmen kinerja). Asesmen autentik khususnya yang berupa asesmen kinerja dilaksanakan dengan mengintegrasikannya dalam langkah pembelajaran kontekstual.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was aimed to get result about the effect of discovery learning assisted by real media to critical thinking and understanding science concept This studyis quasi experiment, the design of Posttest-Only Control Group Design. The technique for sampling is saturated sampling. Data analysis using t test. The conclusion is; (a) there are differences in critical thinking skills of students using discovery learning models assisted by media real with students by discovery learning models. (b) There are differences in understanding of concepts between students using discovery learning models assisted by media real with students by discovery learning models.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model discovery learning berbantuan media benda nyata terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis dan pemahaman konsep IPA. Metode yang digunakan quasi experiment dengan rancangan Posttest-Only Control Group Design. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah sampling jenuh. Analisis data menggunakan Uji t. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah (a) terdapat perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa menggunakan model discovery learning berbantuan media benda nyata dengan siswa dengan model discovery learning dan (b) terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep antara siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model discovery learning berbantuan media benda nyata dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model discovery learning.

Abstract

This research aims to unravel the role of the values of local wisdom in the face of the MEAs through thematic learning. Some research and development based on local wisdom that has been done by previous researchers intended to facilitate students in achieving the learning is not only conceptually but also applicable. Local knowledge is essential considering that learning happens in the classroom, especially in primary school students should start with the closest or the world that is often encountered by students. The values of local knowledge will help students understand each concept in the material so that the stock of knowledge gained students not only to the limited knowledge alone, but can also be implemented in the form of students practice outside the school. Thematic learning based on local wisdom will be connected in a hang of students to act properly in the face of the MEA. Civilization is not only the man is not only omniscient but versatile to advance the State.Keywords: Local Wisdom, the Asean Economic Community (AEC), Thematic Learning http://dx.doi.org/10.17977/um022v1i12016p039

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to (1) describe the implementation of lectures and the ease of use of the WhatsApp (WA) group feature as a medium for presentation and discussion among students, (2) and researchers want to know the level of effectiveness of presentations and discussions through the WhatsApp (WA) group feature. done by students. This study uses a qualitative descriptive design approach. The researcher gave a questionnaire to 37 students as respondents, the purpose of the questionnaire was to find information about student responses to the experience of the presentation and discussion process using the WhatsApp (WA) group feature. The results showed that the use of the WhatsApp (WA) group feature as a medium for presentations and discussions among students was considered effective (assignments, discussion processes and mid-semester exam scores) and easy to do. This can provide convenience and increase student activity in the presentation and discussion process. Abstract

The research focused on the implementation of character building to improve students’ life skills and the implication of character building on students’ life skills in PPBM. It was carried out using a qualitative approach and case study design in business units of PPBM. The data source of the research consisted of the caretakers, teachers, the head of the vocational training center, and students involved in the management, work, and training in various business units. The researcher collected the data using observation, interviews, open questionnaires, and documentation. The key instrument of the research is the researcher herself. However, the researcher employed research instruments of observation, interview, and open questionnaire to help her during the process. The data was analyzed using description, condensation, categorization, and interpretation processes.The result of the research shows that (1) to improve students’ life skills, character building is carried out by understanding the vision, mission, and objectives of the Islamic boarding school. The learning starts from the production of goods and services using sources and learning media in an extensive way (involving tutors and professionals of certain business unit), internship, independent learning using internet (Youtube, WA, Instagram, and other social media), the practice of management, work, and training in the business units, assessment, and authentic evaluation by involving students in the management and work of business unit; the learning monitoring is done by report and reflection on their performance in each business unit; (2) The implication of character building on students’ life skills includes the developing of students’ individual skill, awareness to live independent, religious competence (praying attitude, being grateful and patient, being responsible, struggling, and serious in work); social competence, namely the competence to communicate, collaborate, and cooperate; academic competence; and vocational competence, namely the competence to work in business unit experienced by students in PPBM.

Abstract

Abstract: This research focuses on PPK (Strengthening Character Education) activities through habituation in distance learning and to interpreting the role of habituation in the context of PPK (Strengthening Character Education) in distance learning at SDN Kotalama 1 Kota Malang. In order for the results of this study to be more accurate, the researchers used mixed methods. The approach used is a quantitative approach and a qualitative approach. The results of this study are the role of PPK (Strengthening Character Education) activities through habituation in distance learning that is not maximal in seeing the attitudes and behavior of students directly. The role of PPK through habituation in distance learning, namely as a controller and introduction to various daily activities at home for students. The implementation of PPK through habituation is carried out every morning before learning activities begin. Abstrak: Penelitian ini berfokus pada kegiatan PPK (Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter) melalui pembiasaan pada pembelajaran jarak jauh dan bertujuan untuk memaknai peranan pembiasaan dalam konteks PPK (Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter) pada pembelajaran jarak jauh di SDN Kotalama 1 Kota Malang. Agar hasil penelitian ini menjadi lebih akurat maka peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian campuran atau mixed methods. Pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif dan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu peranan kegiatan PPK (Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter) melalui pembiasaan pada pembelajaran jarak jauh kurang maksimal dalam melihat sikap dan perilaku peserta didik secara langsung. Peranan PPK melalui pembiasaan pada pembelajaran jarak jauh yaitu sebagai pengontrol dan pengenalan berbagai kegiatan sehari-hari di rumah bagi peserta didik. Pelaksanaan PPK melalui pembiasaan dilaksanakan setiap pagi sebelum kegiatan pembelajaran dimulai, guru memberikan kegiatan melalui grup whatsapp dan peserta didik mengirimkan bukti berupa foto atau video saat melaksanakan kegiatan PPK kepada guru.

Abstract

Abstract: Character education is very important for students to be formed as early as possible. MIN 1 Malang City applies character education with a PAKU BUMI program. The objectives of this study are (1) the concept of the PAKU BUMI program; (2) the implementation of the PAKU BUMI program in strengthening character education; (c) character education values ​​embedded in students through the PAKU BUMI program; (d) supporting factors and inhibiting factors; (e) student behavior as a result of the implementation of the PAKU BUMI program.This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study research. Researchers as a key instrument. Data collection techniques by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. The validity of the data using techniques of increasing persistence and triangulation techniques. In this study, researchers reveal and explain in detail the implementation of the PAKU BUMI program. The results of the study found that the PAKU BUMI program is an arrangement of the national curriculum of the Ministry of Religion, the vision and mission of madrasas, and circulars of the Ministry of Religion of Malang City with the aim of increasing the KI 1 and KI 2. The PAKU BUMI program is an intracurricular activity in accordance with presidential regulation number 87 2017 concerning strengthening character education. There are several activities from the PAKU BUMI program in strengthening character education through (a) fardhu prayers and sunnah prayers; (b) dhikr and prayers after prayers and daily prayers; (c) reading the Koran and memorizing juz 30; (d) spread greetings; (e) fasting in Ramadan and fasting sunnah; (f) morality; (g) life skills or life skills. The PAKU BUMI program is able to bring out unique and distinctive character values ​​in activities. In accordance with the provisions of the presidential regulation on strengthening character education. The PAKU BUMI program has an impact on the behavior of students who are honest, responsible, disciplined, and independent for themselves and those around them. Abstrak: Pendidikan karakter sangat penting bagi siswa dengan dibentuk sedini mungkin. MIN 1 Kota Malang menerapkan pendidikan karakter dengan sebuah program PAKU BUMI Tujuan penelitian ini untuk (1) konsep program PAKU BUMI; (2) implementasi program PAKU BUMI dalam penguatan pendidikan karakter; (c) nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang tertanam pada siswa melalui program PAKU BUMI; (d) faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat; (e) perilaku siswa sebagai dampak implementasi program PAKU BUMI. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Peneliti sebagai instrumen kunci. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, menarik kesimpulan. Keabsahan data menggunakan teknik meningkatkan ketekunan dan teknik triangulasi. Pada penelitian ini peneliti mengungkapkan dan menjelaskan secara detail implementasi program PAKU BUMI. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa program PAKU BUMI merupakan susunan dari kurikulum nasional Kementerian Agama, visi misi madrasah, dan surat edaran Kementerian Agama Kota Malang dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pada KI 1 dan KI 2. Program PAKU BUMI merupakan kegiatan intrakurikuler yang sesuai dengan peraturan presiden nomor 87 tahun 2017 tentang penguatan pendidikan karakter. Terdapat beberapa kegiatan dari program PAKU BUMI dalam penguatan pendidikan karakter melalui (a) shalat fardhu dan shalat sunnah; (b) dzikir dan doa setelah salat serta doa sehari-hari; (c) membaca al-quran dan hafalan juz 30; (d) menebar salam; (e) puasa Ramadhan dan puasa sunnah; (f) akhlakul karimah; (g) life skill atau kecakapan hidup. Program PAKU BUMI mampu memunculkan nilai-nilai karakter yang unik dan khas dalam kegiatan. Sesuai dengan ketetapan peraturan presiden tentang penguatan pendidikan karakter. Program PAKU BUMI berdampak pada perilaku siswa yang jujur, tanggung jawab, disiplin, dan mandiri untuk dirinya dan sekitarnya.

Abstract

This research is aimed to develop multiple intelligences-based thematic comic module. This research used research and development approach Dick Carey and Carey model. The procedures of the module development are: (1) identifying learning objectives, (2) learning analysis, (3) students and context analysis, (4) formulating specific learning objectives, (5) developing assessment instrument, (6) developing learning strategy, (7) developing and choosing learning material, (8) designing and conducting learning formative evaluation, (9) revising learning material. This research has been conducted up to the seventh step that is developing and choosing learning material. The results of this step are: (1) student’s module design, (2) teacher’s guideline design. This student module entitled multiple intelligences-based thematic comic module with environment theme that consists of three sub-theme, they are: (1) family environment, (2) school environment), (3) society environment. The component consists of: opening (title, foreword, user guidelines, module part, character introduction, and content list), main part (concept map, news, and expectation box), and learning (material exploration, let’s practice, assignment, conclusion, independent test, module final test) and the final part (mini vocabulary, assessment guide, bibliography). Teachers’ guide consists of: (1) foreword, (2) teacher’s guidelines, (3) teacher’s role in using the module, (4) fifth grade SKL and KI, (5) multiple intelligences mapping, (6) content list, (7) first sub-theme mapping, (8) second sub-theme mapping, (9) third sub-theme mapping, (10) bibliography, (11) module final test, (12) key answers and scoring.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine: the simultaneous influence of people's attention and learning motivation on the learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school students in cluster V, Klojen District, Malang City. This research uses a quantitative approach with the type of ex-post facto research. The data analysis used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The sample in this study was 119 of 169 students who became the population and proportionate stratified random sampling technique was used for sampling. The sample size technique of the population uses the Slovin formula. Collecting data using questionnaires and documentation. The results of this study indicate that: there is a simultaneous influence between parental attention and learning motivation on the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDN Cluster V, Klojen District, Malang City. Abstrak: tujuan dari penelitian yakni guna mengetahui pengaruh simultan antara seseorang yang memberikan perhatian serta hasil belajar dari motivasi pembelajaran yang dilakukan pada anak kelas IV SDN Se-gugus V Kecamatan Klojen Kota Malang. Dalam penelitian menggunakan riset ex-post facto dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pada riset tersebut, analisis regresi linier berganda dipakai dalam analisis data ini. Terdapat juga sampel pada penelitian dimana populasi menjadi 119 dari 169 siswa dan teknik proportionate stratifiet random sampling adalah teknik yang digunakan di sampel ini. Sampel dari populasi menggunakan teknik rumus slovin. dokumentasi dan menggunakan angket merupakan bentuk mengumpulkan data. Ditunjukkan hasil pada penelitian ini bahwa ada pengaruh simultan antara perhatian pada orangtua dengan termotivasinya anak saat belajar terhadap berhasilnya anak ketika megikuti pembelajaran di kelas IV SDN Se-gugus V Kecamatan Klojen Kota Malang.

Abstract

The implications of communication in the development of student discipline are very important to implement because good discipline is instilled at the elementary school level. This study aims to determine how communication is applied by the teacher and to find out what kind of discipline is developed in second-grade students. The method used is an interview instrument which is then validated using source triangulation. In addition, data collection in this study used observation and documentation instruments. The results of the study show that the communication applied by the teacher in learning includes verbal communication and non-verbal communication. In addition, there are several elements of communication carried out, namely: source, message, channel, communicant, and feedback. Discipline that develops in grade II students is coming on time to school, entering class on time after recess, carrying out tasks in learning, and dressing neatly according to applicable rules. Implikasi komunikasi dalam pengembangan kedisiplinan siswa sangat penting untuk dilaksanakan karena disiplin baik ditanamkan pada jenjang sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana komunikasi yang diterapkan guru dan mengetahui kedisiplinan seperti apa yang berkembang pada diri siswa kelas II. Metode yang digunakan berupa instrumen wawancara yang kemudian divalidasi menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Selain itu pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan instrument observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan komunikasi yang diterapkan guru dalam pembelajaran antara lain: komunikasi verbal dan komunikasi non verbal. Selain itu terdapat beberapa elemen komunikasi yang dilakukan yaitu: sumber, pesan, saluran, komunikan, feedback. Kedisiplinan yang bekembang pada diri siswa kelas II yaitu: datang tepat waktu ke sekolah, masuk kelas tepat waktu selesai jam istirahat, melaksanakan tugas-tugas dalam pembelajaran, berpakaian rapi sesuai aturan yang berlaku.
