Abstract

One of the key processes in communication is listening. Listening is a language skill that can broaden one’s horizons when done well and correctly. Gender refers to the observable differences in society between men and women; it is not innate and can change over time. Every individual has a distinct personality, which is categorized into two types: extroverted and introverted. The researcher conducted this study after observing differences in listening outcomes between women and men with diverse personalities during learning activities in a university setting. The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of gender (male and female) and personality types (introvert and extrovert) on the listening competence of students in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Program, FKIP, Unissula. This quantitative study employed an experimental design involving 60 students using a simple 2 x 2 factorial design. This study employed linear regression analysis to examine the influence of the variables under investigation. The hypotheses for this study consist of Ho, which states that there is no significant interaction between gender and personality type in students’ listening skills, and Ha, which states that there is a significant interaction between gender and personality type in students’ listening skills. The results of the study indicate that, in general, there is a positive interaction between gender and personality type regarding students’ listening competence. This interaction is evident from the statistical calculations, which show that the calculated F-value is 3.619, which is greater than the critical F-value of 3.072. The findings reveal that female students with an extroverted personality type demonstrate better listening performance compared to others. Furthermore, there is a relationship between gender and personality that can influence students’ listening performance. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an interaction between these two variables regarding students’ listening competence, and thus the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Program pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran media 3D dengan menggunakan aplikasi SketchUp diselenggarakan oleh Fakultas Pendidikan Bahasa dan Seni (FPBS) bekerja sama dengan UKM Penalaran dan Riset (UKM PR) IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro. Kegiatan ini merupakan salah satu bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan peserta dalam mengoperasikan aplikasi SketchUp sebagai media pembelajaran visual yang interaktif. Program pelatihan dilaksanakan secara daring melalui Zoom pada 13 September 2025. Pelatihan dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahapan, yaitu (1) tahap awal, (2) tahap inti, dan (3) tahap akhir. Pada tahap awal, peserta mendapatkan penjelasan mengenai pengenalan dasar SketchUp yang mencakup konsep, fungsi, serta tampilan antarmuka aplikasi. Pada tahap inti, pemateri mendemonstrasikan secara langsung penggunaan tools dasar untuk membuat model 3D sederhana. Pada tahap akhir, kegiatan diakhiri dengan sesi tanya jawab yang membahas berbagai hal terkait materi pelatihan. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan yang diperoleh, dapat disimpulkan bahwa program pelatihan ini mampu meningkatkan keterampilan peserta dalam merancang media pembelajaran berbasis tiga dimensi serta menumbuhkan kreativitas digital dalam proses pembelajaran. Kata Kunci: Media 3D, SketchUp, Augmented Reality ABSTRACT A training program on creating 3D learning media using the SketchUp application was organized by the Faculty of Language and Arts Education (FPBS) in collaboration with the Reasoning and Research Student Activity Unit (UKM PR) of IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro. This activity is a form of community service aimed at improving participants' skills in operating the SketchUp application as an interactive visual learning medium. The training program was conducted online via Zoom on September 13, 2025. The training was carried out in three stages, namely (1) the initial stage, (2) the core stage, and (3) the final stage. In the initial stage, participants received an explanation of the basics of SketchUp, including concepts, functions, and the application's interface. In the core stage, the instructor demonstrated the use of basic tools to create simple 3D models. In the final stage, the activity ended with a question and answer session discussing various matters related to the training material. Based on the results of the activity, it can be concluded that this training program was able to improve participants' skills in designing three-dimensional learning media and foster digital creativity in the learning process. Abstract

ABSTRAK Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia merupakan salah satu pelajaran yang wajib dianjarkan pada jenjang SD sampai SMA. Dalam pembelajaran kemampuan siswa itu penting yang harus dikembangkan, dan guru berperan penting dalam proses mengajar Bahasa Indonesia untuk mengembangkan kompetensi siswa. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya evaluasi yang mempunyai tujuan untuk mengetahui tolak ukur kemampuan siswa dalam memahami mata pelajaran. Dengan adanya aplikasi Quizizz memudahkan siswa dalam mengevaluasi Bahasa Indonesia dalam bentuk game kuis yang berbasis Android. Dari ungkapan penelitian terdahulu aplikasi Quizizz merupakan alat evaluasi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka atau library research yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dari jurnal, buku, artikel ilmiah dan mencari buku-buku referensi dari perpustakaan. Peneliti menggunakan teori dari Marry W. George. Pada validasi data, penulis menggunakan triangulasi data, yang berarti peneliti mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data. Sebelum menggunakan aplikasi Quizizz sebaiknya membuat akun Quizizz terlebih dahulu. Setelah membuat akun, kita dapat menggunakan aplikasi Quizizz. ABSTRACT Learning Indonesian language is one of compulsory subjects in primary and senior high schools. In the learning process, student's skill is important to be developed. Moreover, teacher has important role to develop it in Indonesian languange learning. Therefore, evaluation which aims ti measure student' s understanding skill is needed. Quiziz Apps makes students are easier to evaluate indonesian languange learning in form of androdi based quiz. Previous study reveals that it is an evaluation tool in improving student's skill. This study is library research used to obtain data from journals, books, articles, and references in the library. The researcher uses the teory of George. The data is validated using data triangulation which means that researcher has collected and analyzed data. Before using Quiziz apps, it needs to create account. Furthermore, it can be used.

Abstract

The integration of digital tools in education plays a crucial role in enhancing a more interactive and captivating learning experience. Nonetheless, the application of the Powtoon tool by educators remains insufficiently utilized due to inadequate practical training opportunities. To tackle this challenge, this community-oriented project was implemented, which involved training and coaching on how to effectively use Powtoon to create audiovisual comic materials through a collaborative approach. The outcomes of this initiative indicate that educators gained proficiency in using Powtoon, designing learning storyboards, and generating audiovisual comic materials. Furthermore, 85 percent of the attendees managed to create their own storyboards, while 80 percent effectively produced educational media. This project also motivated teachers to start incorporating digital media into their instruction, thus enhancing the engagement and interactivity of the learning experience.   Pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam dunia pendidikan menjadi salah satu elemen penting dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran yang lebih menarik dan interaktif. Namun, pemanfaatan aplikasi Powtoon sebagai media pembelajaran oleh guru masih belum optimal karena terbatasnya pelatihan yang bersifat praktis dan aplikatif. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan pemanfaatan Powtoon dalam pengembangan media komik audio visual dengan pendekatan partisipatif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa guru memperoleh keterampilan dalam mengoperasikan Powtoon, menyusun storyboard pembelajaran, serta mampu menghasilkan media komik audio visual. Selain itu, sebanyak 85% peserta mampu menyusun storyboard dan 80%  peserta berhasil menghasilkan media pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini juga mendorong guru untuk mulai memanfaatkan media digital dalam pembelajaran sehingga proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik dan interaktif.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the structure of reviewed text that was retold by the students in class VIII C of SMP N 1 Cepu, Blora, Indonesia. The teaching and learning process used the flipped classroom method by using schoology apps. This study was qualitative research with case study approach and the total subjects were 28 students. From the total subjects, four students was chosen to be interviewed with a reason that the reviewed texts were in line with the indicators. Technique in collecting the data used observation, test, interview, and documentation. The data was validated by using triangulations of source and method. Technique in analysing the data used content analysis method that was started from 1) data reduction, 2) data presentation, 3) drawing conclusion and verification. The results of study showed that the structure of reviewed text that was retold by the students had been well referred to the Kosasih thery about the structure of reviewed text. The conclusion of the study was the flipped classroom method by using schoology aps was very appropriate to be implemented in the teaching and learning process. This method trained the students to think creatively and independently, they were able to understand the materials given by using schoology apps.

Abstract

The Inquiry Learning model is a student-centered approach that involves exploration, questioning, and direct discovery of concepts. This study aims to test the effectiveness of the Inquiry Learning model, supported by virtual comics, in improving students’ ability to write folktales. Virtual comics are used as an interactive visual medium to help students understand the elements of folktales, such as plot, characters, setting, and moral message. This study employed a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pretest–posttest design and involved 20 students in the 10th grade at SMK Abu Darrin, Bojonegoro. Data were collected through a folktale writing test and analyzed using N-Gain calculations and a Paired Sample t-test. The results indicate a significant improvement in writing ability, evidenced by an increase in the average score from 49.6 on the pretest to 67.5 on the posttest. The N-Gain value of 0.34 falls into the moderate category. The t-test yielded a calculated t-value of 9.73, which is greater than the critical t-value of 2.093, thus rejecting H₀. The Inquiry Learning model supported by virtual comics has not only proven effective in improving students’ narrative writing skills but also contributes to modernizing the teaching of classical literature through the integration of interactive digital media, as well as reconstructing the archaic values of narratives into a more creative and systematic written form. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa dalam menulis teks cerita fantasi serta terbatasnya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang interaktif. Kondisi tersebut ber-dampak pada rendahnya minat dan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pem-belajaran. Selain itu, belum tersedia media e-book interaktif yang mengin-tegrasikan pembelajaran teks cerita fantasi dengan nilai Tujuh Kebiasaan Anak Indonesia Hebat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil analisis kebutuhan, desain produk, pengembangan produk, implementasi, dan evaluasi pengembangan teks cerita fantasi bermuatan Tujuh Kebiasa-an Anak Indonesia Hebat berbasis e-book interaktif. Penelitian ini meng-gunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas siswa SMP Negeri 2 Singgahan, SMP Negeri 1 Senori, dan SMP Negeri 2 Jatirogo. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan uji va-liditas Aiken dan uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk e-book interaktif yang dikembangkan layak digunakan serta mampu me-ningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks cerita fantasi siswa.
