Abstract

News text learning in junior high school is still dominated by the use of printed teaching materials which tend to be monotonous. This research aims to develop teaching materials for HOTS-based news texts in class VII news text learning at the junior high school level. The research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects of the study were grade VII students in three schools in Bojonegoro district. Data was collected through student needs questionnaires, expert validation sheets, and news text writing tests. The results of the study showed that the teaching materials obtained a feasibility percentage of 90.00% from material experts and 93.34% from media experts with the very feasible category. The average student score increased from 40.90 in the pretest to 81.52 in the post. The results of the N-Gain calculation obtained a score of 0.68257 with the medium category. Thus, the teaching materials for HOTS-based news texts are feasible and effective for improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada kebutuhan akan bahan ajar teks tanggapan yang selaras dengan karakteristik peserta didik serta perkembangan teknologi dalam bidang pembelajaran. Bahan ajar yang digunakan di sekolah saat ini masih didominasi oleh buku cetak sehingga belum sepenuhnya mampu mendukung proses pembelajaran yang interaktif dan mendalam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil analisis kebutuhan, perancangan produk, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi bahan ajar teks tanggapan dengan pendekatan deep learning berbasis website. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang mencakup tahap analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Subjek penelitian meliputi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Jatirogo, SMP Negeri 1 Kenduruan, dan SMP Negeri 1 Senori. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui angket, wawancara, dan tes, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan validasi ahli, uji Paired Sample t-test, serta uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan memperoleh kategori sangat layak berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi dan ahli media. Selain itu, penerapan bahan ajar tersebut menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan produk yang dikembangkan. Hasil evaluasi juga mengindikasikan bahwa bahan ajar teks tanggapan dengan pendekatan deep learning berbasis website efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada jenjang sekolah menengah pertama. The teaching materials currently used in schools are still predominantly printed textbooks, which have not been able to fully support interactive and in-depth learning. This study aimed to describe the results of the needs analysis, product design, development, implementation, and evaluation of website-based response text teaching materials using a deep learning approach. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects were seventh-grade students from SMP Negeri 2 Jatirogo, SMP Negeri 1 Kenduruan, and SMP Negeri 1 Senori. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and tests, and were analyzed using expert validation, Paired Sample t-test, and N-Gain test. The findings revealed that the developed teaching materials were categorized as highly feasible based on evaluations conducted by material and media experts. Furthermore, the implementation of the teaching materials resulted in improved student learning outcomes after their use. The evaluation results also indicated that website-based response text teaching materials integrated with a deep learning approach were effective for Indonesian language learning at the junior high school level. Abstract

This study aims to design application-based news text teaching materials integrated with 4C (critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration) skills for seventh-grade junior high school students. The research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model which includes the Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The research participants were seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Kenduruan, SMP Negeri 2 Jatirogo, and SMP Negeri 1 Senori. Data were collected through a needs analysis questionnaire, expert validation sheets, and news text writing tests. The results of the study showed that the teaching materials developed obtained a feasibility level of 80% from material experts and 92.5% from media experts. The implementation test showed that the calculated t-value (39.7695) was greater than the critical t-value (1.99601), while the N-Gain value of 0.691165 was in the medium category. Therefore, the designed teaching materials were found to be both feasible and effective to improve students' ability to write news texts.

Abstract

One of the key processes in communication is listening. Listening is a language skill that can broaden one’s horizons when done well and correctly. Gender refers to the observable differences in society between men and women; it is not innate and can change over time. Every individual has a distinct personality, which is categorized into two types: extroverted and introverted. The researcher conducted this study after observing differences in listening outcomes between women and men with diverse personalities during learning activities in a university setting. The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of gender (male and female) and personality types (introvert and extrovert) on the listening competence of students in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Program, FKIP, Unissula. This quantitative study employed an experimental design involving 60 students using a simple 2 x 2 factorial design. This study employed linear regression analysis to examine the influence of the variables under investigation. The hypotheses for this study consist of Ho, which states that there is no significant interaction between gender and personality type in students’ listening skills, and Ha, which states that there is a significant interaction between gender and personality type in students’ listening skills. The results of the study indicate that, in general, there is a positive interaction between gender and personality type regarding students’ listening competence. This interaction is evident from the statistical calculations, which show that the calculated F-value is 3.619, which is greater than the critical F-value of 3.072. The findings reveal that female students with an extroverted personality type demonstrate better listening performance compared to others. Furthermore, there is a relationship between gender and personality that can influence students’ listening performance. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an interaction between these two variables regarding students’ listening competence, and thus the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the structure of reviewed text that was retold by the students in class VIII C of SMP N 1 Cepu, Blora, Indonesia. The teaching and learning process used the flipped classroom method by using schoology apps. This study was qualitative research with case study approach and the total subjects were 28 students. From the total subjects, four students was chosen to be interviewed with a reason that the reviewed texts were in line with the indicators. Technique in collecting the data used observation, test, interview, and documentation. The data was validated by using triangulations of source and method. Technique in analysing the data used content analysis method that was started from 1) data reduction, 2) data presentation, 3) drawing conclusion and verification. The results of study showed that the structure of reviewed text that was retold by the students had been well referred to the Kosasih thery about the structure of reviewed text. The conclusion of the study was the flipped classroom method by using schoology aps was very appropriate to be implemented in the teaching and learning process. This method trained the students to think creatively and independently, they were able to understand the materials given by using schoology apps.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Program pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran media 3D dengan menggunakan aplikasi SketchUp diselenggarakan oleh Fakultas Pendidikan Bahasa dan Seni (FPBS) bekerja sama dengan UKM Penalaran dan Riset (UKM PR) IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro. Kegiatan ini merupakan salah satu bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan peserta dalam mengoperasikan aplikasi SketchUp sebagai media pembelajaran visual yang interaktif. Program pelatihan dilaksanakan secara daring melalui Zoom pada 13 September 2025. Pelatihan dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahapan, yaitu (1) tahap awal, (2) tahap inti, dan (3) tahap akhir. Pada tahap awal, peserta mendapatkan penjelasan mengenai pengenalan dasar SketchUp yang mencakup konsep, fungsi, serta tampilan antarmuka aplikasi. Pada tahap inti, pemateri mendemonstrasikan secara langsung penggunaan tools dasar untuk membuat model 3D sederhana. Pada tahap akhir, kegiatan diakhiri dengan sesi tanya jawab yang membahas berbagai hal terkait materi pelatihan. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan yang diperoleh, dapat disimpulkan bahwa program pelatihan ini mampu meningkatkan keterampilan peserta dalam merancang media pembelajaran berbasis tiga dimensi serta menumbuhkan kreativitas digital dalam proses pembelajaran. Kata Kunci: Media 3D, SketchUp, Augmented Reality ABSTRACT A training program on creating 3D learning media using the SketchUp application was organized by the Faculty of Language and Arts Education (FPBS) in collaboration with the Reasoning and Research Student Activity Unit (UKM PR) of IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro. This activity is a form of community service aimed at improving participants' skills in operating the SketchUp application as an interactive visual learning medium. The training program was conducted online via Zoom on September 13, 2025. The training was carried out in three stages, namely (1) the initial stage, (2) the core stage, and (3) the final stage. In the initial stage, participants received an explanation of the basics of SketchUp, including concepts, functions, and the application's interface. In the core stage, the instructor demonstrated the use of basic tools to create simple 3D models. In the final stage, the activity ended with a question and answer session discussing various matters related to the training material. Based on the results of the activity, it can be concluded that this training program was able to improve participants' skills in designing three-dimensional learning media and foster digital creativity in the learning process. Abstract

Digital literacy is an essential skill in the modern era for understanding information and using digital media effectively. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of digital literacy in combating hoaxes among Generation Z. This study uses secondary data from national journals. Data collection techniques use the read-and-record method. Data validation techniques use triangulation. The results of the survey indicate that digital literacy in combating hoax news among Generation Z has three roles: 1) helping to improve digital literacy among Generation Z, 2) developing verification and information literacy skills, and 3) strengthening understanding of digital ethics and responsibility. This study concludes that there are three roles of digital literacy in combating hoax news among Generation Z.

Abstract

Abstract           The PKM program for writing scientific articles to improve the careers of mathematics teachers in Bojonegoro was carried out through the method of providing training, guidance, and mentoring to participants on how to write articles on the results of classroom action research that was carried out daily in their classrooms to make scientific articles that can be published in journals. The main target audience in this activity were mathematics teachers under the auspices of the Bojonegoro Ministry of Religion, totaling 30 teachers. The area where the training and workshop location was at MAN 2 Bojonegoro is a gathering place for mathematics teachers in the MGMP organization. The results in the PKM program activities were (1) increased knowledge of scientific articles, (2) increased ability and skills of participants in writing scientific articles from the results of classroom action research and (3) participants can integrate scientific writing in the learning process. The outputs of this PKM activity were (1) increasing participants' knowledge of the activity materials, (2) scientific articles published in national seminars or national journals, and (3) publication of PKM implementation on online media.     Abstrak Program PKM penulisan artikel ilmiah untuk peningkatan karir guru matematika di Bojonegoro dilakukan melalui metode pemberian pelatihan, bimbingan, dan pendampingan kepada peserta mengenai bagaimana cara menulis artikel hasil penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan sehari-hari dalam kelasnya untuk dibuat suatu artikel ilmiah yang dapat terbit di jurnal.. Khalayak sasaran utama dalam kegiatan ini yaitu guru-guru matematika di bawah naungan Kemenag Bojonegoro yang berjumlah 30 guru. Wilayah lokasi pelatihan dan workshop di MAN 2 Bojonegoro sebagai tempat berkumpulnya para guru matematika dalam organisasi MGMP. Hasil dalam kegiatan program PKM yaitu (1) meningkatnya pengetahuan mengenai artikel ilmiah, (2) meningkatnya kemampuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam menulis artikel ilmiah dari hasil penelitian tindakan kelas dan (3) peserta dapat mengintergrasikan karya tulis ilmiah dalam proses pembelajaran. Luaran kegiatan PKM ini yaitu (1) meningkatnya pengetahuan peserta mengenai materi-materi kegiatan, (2) artikel ilmiah yang dipublikasikan pada seminar nasional atau jurnal nasional, dan (3) publikasi pelaksanaan PKM pada media online.

Abstract

Developing Indonesian language teaching materials that address 21st century demands has become a necessity. This study aims to design AI-integrated and web-based Indonesian teaching materials that are integrated with art and cultural values. It focuses on student interaction with AI as cultural interpreter and the embedding of cultural values within learning activities. This study implements ADDIE design. The primary novelty of this research lies in the formulation of a tripartite integration framework that simultaneously unifies three core components within a single learning product. The research subjects were 200 junior high school students. Data was collected through student needs assessment questionnaires, expert validation questionnaires, and learning achievement tests. The needs analysis revealed a high demand for interactive digital teaching materials among students, with the aspects of digital teaching materials (4,15) and learning technology (4,10) ranking as the highest priorities. Expert validation results indicated that material and media feasibility achieved scores of 90,8% and 88,4%, both categorized as “highly feasible.” The N-Gain test results demonstrated that the experimental class attained an average score of 0,60 (moderate category), with 60% of students falling into the high category, whereas the control class only achieved 0,28 (low category). Pedagogical implication of these findings is the need of learning model which integrates technology and culture to create meaningful, contextual and responsive learning experience. Therefore, AI-integrated and web-based Indonesian teaching materials integrated with art and cultural values are declared highly feasible and effective for use at junior high school level. This study offers three significant contributions: (1) a theoretical contribution in form of the tripartite integration framework, (2) a practical contribution through a ready-to-implement teaching material product, and (3) a policy contribution as a reference for developing an Indonesian language curriculum that is adaptive to the digital era while simultaneously preserving local culture.

Abstract

A This study aims to develop learning media based on the Padlet website to improve storytelling skills among elementary school students through the integration of East Javanese local wisdom. The developed media includes eight main menus, namely the main page, identity profile, learning outcomes, student attendance, material, student worksheet, evaluation, and bibliography, which provide an interactive and engaging learning experience. The research employed the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) and involved 80 third-grade students as participants. Data were obtained from media and material expert validation questionnaires, as well as student response questionnaires after the implementation stage. The validation results showed that the developed media achieved a validity score of 90% from material experts and 87% from media experts, indicating that the product met the feasibility standards. Moreover, the student response test revealed a very positive perception, particularly in terms of attractiveness, interactivity, and usefulness for learning storytelling skills. These findings demonstrate that the Padlet-based learning media incorporating East Javanese local wisdom is effective, practical, and of high quality in supporting the development of students’ storytelling skills. The significance of this study lies in offering a digital learning innovation that strengthens cultural values while enhancing literacy competence in elementary education.
