Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan menulis teks persuasi yang ditulis oleh siswa SMP IT Syakur Al-marzuqi Ngasem dengan menggunakan flipped classroom dan media plotagon. penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan studi kasus dengan jumlah subjek 13 siswa. Dari 13 siswa kemudian peneliti mengambil 4 siswa untuk diwawancarai dengan alasan teks persuasi sesuai dengan indikator. Teknik pengumplan data menggunakan observasi, metode tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data divaliditaskan dengan menggunakan triangulasi sumber data dan triangulasi metode. Teknik analisis data dimulai dari 1). reduksi data, 2). penyajian data, 3). penarikan simpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan menulis teks persuasi yang ditulis oleh siswa SMP IT Syakur Al-marzuqi Ngasem sesuai dengan pedoman buku siswa bahasa Indonesia SMP/Mts Kelas VIII revisi 2017 dengan baik. Simpulan pada penelitian ini adalah flipped classroom dan media plotagon sangat tepat digunakan karena dapat membuat siswa lebih aktif dan kreatif dalam pembelajaran, dan memberi pemahaman siswa jika situs online bisa digunakan sebagai pembelajaran yang menarik. Kata Kunci: Flipped classroom, plotagon, teks persuasi

Abstract

Mobile-based teaching materials for academic writing are flexible to be implemented in various learning models. Therefore, this study aims to investigate which is more effective between mobile-based teaching materials in hybrid learning and teaching materials in form of handouts in direct instruction to produce students’ academic writing ability. This study is quasi experimental design in which the population is all of students in second semester at Indonesian language and literature department of IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro. They are consisted of 72 students. Research samples are taken using simple random sampling. Test is utilized to obtain the data. Moreover, its hypothesis is tested using t-test. Result of study shows that in the significance level of 0,05, it equals 1,6992. While the value of t0,05;70 = 1,6669. Based on t table, the value of DK = . tobs DK. In other words, H0 is rejected. It can be concluded that mobile-based teaching material of academic writing skill in hybrid learning is more effective to produce students’ academic writing ability than the teaching materials in form of handouts in direct instruction.

Abstract

The development of modern science and technology has to be accompanied by learning media innovation. The transformation of it can be in form of digital learning materials. The aim of this study is to investigate whether the Kodular can be utilized in compiling digital learning materials. This study is descriptive qualitative exploratory research based on depth interview in which the primary data is in form of field notes taken from interviews to the user of Kodular, the elementary school teachers, and the questionnaire results on the teachers’ needs in the elementary school. This study involves the user of Kodular and elementary school teachers which are selected using purposive sampling. The procedures of preparing digital learning materials are 1) analyzing the needs of teaching materials, 2) designing the concepts of teaching materials, and 3) developing teaching materials based on the structure of each learning material. The results of study shows that Kodular is able to be utilized in compiling digital learning materials of early reading for elementary school students by implementing Kosasih’s strategy. It can be concluded that Kodular is used as a media in compiling the materials of early reading in forms of texts, pictures, voices, and animations. The output is the digital learning materials in form of application which can be installed on Android devices.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how animation-based fairy tale media can play a role in improving listening skills in elementary school children. The method in this study uses the literature study method with secondary data sources originating from national and international journals and books. The procedure in this study uses the theory of Mary W. George which has been developed. The results of the research are discussion topics that focus on the role of collaboration between fairy tales and animation media to improve skills. Collaboration between fairy tales and animation can be done by developing and designing fairy tale scripts that have been written so that they can be delivered with animated media.

Abstract

The younger generation is a generation that has a responsibility to carry on the nation's ideals, always wants to try new things, and has a variety of hobbies for the future. In preparing for the future, we can start by increasing interest in reading and writing. This study aims to determine the role of the Wattpad application in increasing interest in reading and writing interest in the younger generation of Indonesia. This research is a literature study, researchers need to find and use data sources or previous research in the form of scientific journals, articles, and books related to the research topic. Researchers use the theory of Mary W. George. In data validation, researchers used data triangulation techniques. Wattpad is an application or site that facilitates users in doing writing and reading activities. Before using the Wattpad application, we need to create a Wattpad account first. You can create a Wattpad account using your email address or Facebook account. After creating an account, we can read various stories on Wattpad and can publish literary works.

Abstract

Early reading is the main way of knowledge for primary school students. Therefore, students have to be provided various reading materials which are available and make them feel comfortable in learning to read. The aims of this study are 1) to investigate flipped classroom learning design using Si Raca App in the early reading at primary school; 2) to investigate students’ reading improvements when it has been implemented. This study implements qualitative research in form of classroom action research. The research subjects are first grade students with total of 36 students. This study had been conducted in the even semester of 2022-2023 at MI Muhammadiyah 22 Sugihwaras, Bojonegoro, Indonesia. Research instruments are in forms of reading test questions. Data is collected using test method. It is analyzed using descriptive comparative technique and critical analysis technique. This study concludes that first, flipped classroom using Si Raca App is designed by collaborating flipped classroom model and Si Raca App. This design is implemented in treatments of cycle 1 and cycle 2. It is started from students’ and teacher’s activities before learning, whilst learning, and after learning. Second, there is an improvement in the percentage of completeness in early reading of primary school students. It can be viewed from the completeness percentage in cycle 1 is 77,77%. In cycle 2, it is 91,66%. It means that the classical completeness has been fulfilled in cycle 2.

Abstract

The digital era is characterized by the widespread use of gadgets in daily life. In this era, gadgets also play a crucial role in building Pancasila character. This study explores the role of gadgets in shaping Pancasila character in students, focusing on both the positive and negative impacts and the opportunities available. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, the study draws on secondary data from various national journals. Data collection was conducted through observation and note-taking, with validation using triangulation. The findings reveal that gadgets significantly contribute to shaping intelligent students who embody Pancasila values in the digital era. The study identifies four key roles of gadgets: 1) providing access to information and knowledge, 2) fostering collaboration and communication, 3) supporting the development of digital skills, and 4) promoting the formation of Pancasila character. The study concludes that gadgets are instrumental in enhancing students' learning and character development in the digital age.

Abstract

abstrak—Kecakapan menulis teks sederhana masih menjadi hambatan bagi siswa madrasah ibtidaiyah, khususnya ketika mereka harus merumuskan saran, masukan, serta solusi suatu persoalan. Kesulitan ini dipicu oleh kegiatan belajar yang kurang bervariasi dan terbatasnya media pendukung kemandirian belajar. Penelitian ini berfokus pada efektivitas model Discovery Learning berbasis website interaktif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis siswa kelas III. Menggunakan desain quasi-eksperimental one-group pretest–posttest, penelitian melibatkan 25 siswa. Data diperoleh melalui tes menulis yang menilai ketepatan isi, struktur, kebahasaan, ejaan, dan kreativitas. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan nyata dari nilai rata-rata 66,72 menjadi 86,4. Nilai N-Gain 0,58 berada pada kategori sedang, sementara uji t menghasilkan thitung 19,093 > ttabel 2,063. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa Discovery Learning berbantuan website interaktif efektif memperbaiki kemampuan menulis siswa. Kata kunci—discovery learning, teks sederhana, website interaktif Abstract—The ability to write simple texts remains a challenge for madrasah ibtidaiyah students, especially when they have to formulate suggestions, input, and solutions to a problem. This difficulty is triggered by learning activities that lack variety and limited media to support independent learning. This study focuses on the effectiveness of the Discovery Learning model based on interactive websites in improving the writing skills of third-grade students. Using a one-group quasi-experimental pretest–posttest design, the study involved 25 students. Data were obtained through writing tests that assessed content accuracy, structure, language, spelling, and creativity. The results showed a significant increase from an average score of 66.72 to 86.4. The N-Gain score of 0.58 was in the moderate category, while the t-test produced a t-count of 19.093 > t-table 2.063. These findings confirm that interactive website-assisted Discovery Learning is effective in improving students' writing skills. Keywords— discovery learning, simple texts, interactive websites

Abstract

abstrak—Banyak siswa merasa cepat bosan saat pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia karena materi didominasi dengan teks panjang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi dari permasalah siswa yang cepat bosan karena materi berbasis teks yang panjang dengan menggunakan media Aksaralia yang didesain sederhana serta untuk mengetahui persepsi guru terhadap media Aksaralia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan eksploratif. Data pada penelitian ini diperoleh dengan menggunakan angket dengan skala likert dan guru sebagai partisipan. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik dan divalidasi menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Desain dari media Aksaralia dibuat dengan sederhana tetapi tetap mengedepankan unsur estetika. Hasilnya terdapat beberapa bagian halaman seperti halaman materi, halaman jenis-jenis materi, dan halaman penjelasan dari setiap jenis materi. Hasil persepsi guru terhadap media Aksaralia didominasi dengan jawaban sangat setuju, ini menandakan bahwa media Aksaralia sangat layak untuk diimplementasikan pada pembelajaran di sekolah terutama jenjang SMA. Kata kunci—Media pembelajaran, Teks bahasa Indonesia, Persepsi guru. Abstract— Many students quickly become bored when learning Indonesian because the material is dominated by long texts. This study aims to address the problem of students quickly becoming bored with text-based material by using simple Aksaralia media and to determine teachers' perceptions of Aksaralia media. This study uses a qualitative method with an exploratory approach. Data for this study were obtained using a questionnaire with a Likert scale and teachers as participants. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis and validated using source triangulation. The design of the Aksaralia media is simple but still emphasizes aesthetics. The results show that there are several parts to the pages, such as the material page, the types of material page, and the explanation page for each type of material. The results of teachers' perceptions of Aksaralia media were dominated by strongly agree responses, indicating that Aksaralia media is very suitable for implementation in school learning, especially at the high school level. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to prove whether the blended learning model assisted by VAKSIN (Video Animasi untuk Sistem Pembelajaran Online/Video Animation for Online Learning Systems) is more effective than the online learning model on student learning outcomes in the fourth semester of the Mathematics Education Study Program. The posttest only control design was carried out in the Geometry course at IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro for the 2021/2022 academic year. This study used a saturated sampling technique where all members of the population are used as samples. Data collection techniques in this study used documentation and test techniques. Test the hypothesis used t-test. The results of data analysis obtained by testing the hypothesis in the experimental class and control obtained tcount= 3,18219098 dengan ttable = 1,99084707. Karena tcount > ttable hence H0 is rejected so it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of the fourth semester students of the Mathematics Education Study Program of IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro who were subjected to VAKSIN-assisted blended learning were more effective than those who were subjected to online learning.
