A Study on the Management of Buah Hati Bunda Day Care in Pekanbaru Chairilsyah, Daviq

Abstract

Early childhood education is a coaching effort to the children from birth to six years old by carrying out stimuli of education in order to help physical and spiritual growth and development and they also have readiness to enter further education. Day care is one of early childhood education services for children aged 0-6 years. This research was to find out how the description of Buah Hati Bunda Day Care management. In addition, the object of research was day care of Buah Hati Bunda by providing 8 indicators and 22 sub-indicators to fulfill the management. The quantitative descriptive method was used to find out the description of the day care management. Data collection techniques used are using observation sheets. Based on the data analysis obtained the percentage of8 indicators: 1) physical is 85% and it is categorized into excellent level,2) toys and equipment is 75.3% and it is categorized into good level, 3)tutor is 80% and it is categorized into excellent level, 4) daily activitiesare 100% and it is categorized into excellent level, 5) tutor qualifications are 37.5% and it is categorized into poor level, 6) adult interaction is75% and it is categorized into good level, 7) relationship with the parents is 100% and it is categorized into excellent level, 8) licensing andaccreditation is 100% and it is categorized into excellent level. From the data, it can be concluded that the management of Buah Hati Bunda Day Care is categorized into good level.

Abstract

Teacher performance or work performance is the result achieved by the teacher in carrying out the tasks assigned to him based on skills, experience and sincerity as well as the use of time. The other is including the lack of teacher motivation in teaching and doing their job, the lack of teacher dedication to advancing the school and assisting students in achieving both in competitions and in the Olympics. Besides, an unsupportive work climate, lack of teacher discipline, and there are still many teachers who do not make preparations in teaching are also found in the field. This study uses a descriptive correlational research method with a quantitative approach. The population of this study were teachers of State Elementary Schools 10, 12, 23, and 35 totaling 44 people. The sampling technique in this study used a saturated sample, so all the population of 44 teachers was the sample. The results of this study, partially or individually there is the influence of the principal's leadership on teacher performance at SDN Rupat District.

Abstract

This paper aimed to provide logical reasons for parents and teachers about the importance of teaching tolerance from early age. This paper explained the types of tolerance that should be trained such as religious tolerance, tolerance of multi-ethnicity, multiracial, cultural and gender differences. Literature review was used in explaining theoretical studies, and discussion. The steps of writing a literature review are: 1) Finding data that fits the purpose. 2) Identifying data. 3) Choosing data of writing the article. 4) Formulate, create and assess the quality of writing articles. 5) Synthesize the writing scientific articles. Teaching it from an early age can create children who are able to respect others and do not distinguish. Parents and family members are the main facilitators for children to cultivate an attitude of tolerance. Parents are required to teach tolerance starting from the family environment to the wider community. Meanwhile, the teacher can teach from the social environment to fellow students at school. It can be concluded that the role of parents and teachers here is very important in the inculcation of attitude and tolerance in early childhood

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk mengetahui pengaruh media Typewriter Alphabet terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan pada anakusia5-6 Tahun di TK Negeri Pembina 3 Pekanbaru yang beralamat di Jalan Arwana, Tangkerang Barat. Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai. Kota Pekanbaru Provinsi Riau.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif yang berbentuk Eksperimen dengan model penelitian one group pretest posttest design.Dengan jumlah populasi anak B1 TK Negeri Pembina 3 Pekanbaru sebanyak 15 orang anak yang terdiri dari 9 anak anak laki-laki dan 6 orang anak perempuan. Tes dijadikan sebagai teknik pengumpulan data, data yang didapatkan kemudian diolah menggunakan uji-t. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan membaca permulaan anak yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan Media   Typewriter Alphabet. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis yang diperoleh terdapat pengaruh penggunaan Media   Typewriter Alphabet terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Negeri Pembina 3 Pekanbaru sebesar 55,56%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh dari penerapan media glowing city terhadap kemampuan mengenal bentuk geometri pada anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Negeri Pembina 2 Pekanbaru. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest posttest design. Dengan jumlah populasi anak TK Pembina 2 Pekanbaru sebanyak 15 orang anak. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan lembar observasi kemampuan mengenal bentuk geometri. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t-test dengan meggunakan program SPSS versi 22. Dari hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan mengenal bentuk geometri yang signifikan sebelum dan setelah diberikan media glowing city. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis yang di peroleh terdapat pengaruh penerapan media glowing city terhadap kemampuan mengenal bentuk geometri pada anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Negeri Pembina 2 Pekanbaru sebesar 50,94%.

Abstract

The research aims to (a) describe the planning of extracurricular activities at SD Negeri 001 Tembilahan Hulu, Indragiri Hilir Regency, (b) describe the organization of extracurricular activities at SD Negeri 001 Tembilahan Hulu, Indragiri Hilir Regency, (c) describe the implementation of extracurricular activities at SD Negeri 001 Tembilahan Hulu Indragiri Hilir Regency, and (d) describe the supervision of extracurricular activities at SD Negeri 001 Tembilahan Hulu Indragiri Hilir Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach and descriptive methods. Data collection techniques in this research include observation, interviews, taking field notes, observation, and documentation. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that: (a) in designing extracurricular activities at SD Negeri 001 Tembilahan Hulu, it is good, from the results of interviews, the principal holds joint meetings with teachers, then prepares the program, determines the program, appoints supervisor teachers, and determines the activity schedule. Extracurricular, (b) the organization of extracurricular activities is quite good, extracurricular supervisors are appointed directly by the principal, but there is no decree appointing extracurricular supervisors and the extracurricular organizational structure, (c) in the implementation of extracurricular activities at SD Negeri 001 Tembilahan, the implementation is excellent, this can be seen of the students who take part in extracurricular activities can take part in competitions and some get champions/achievements at sub-district and district levels, and (d) the supervision of extracurricular activities at SD Negeri 001 Tembilahan Hulu is quite good, and the principal directly supervises extracurricular activities during the activities. However, written reporting of extracurricular activities from the supervisor to the school principal has not been implemented.

Abstract

This research aims to provide valuable insights for educational policymakers, school principals, and teachers. A deeper understanding of how work discipline and organizational culture influence teacher performance can help direct improvement efforts toward enhancing educational quality. This study examines the effect of work discipline and organizational culture on teacher performance in Gaung Anak Serka district, Indragiri Hilir regency. The research population consisted of 91 teachers, with a randomly selected sample of 75 respondents, determined using Taro Yamane's formula. The data collection process utilized questionnaires measured with a Likert scale. The research employed a descriptive analysis technique, followed by inferential statistical analysis, which included analysis requirement tests and statistical hypothesis testing. The findings demonstrate that work discipline and organizational culture significantly impact teacher performance individually and collectively. Teachers with high work discipline exhibit greater efficiency, responsibility, and commitment to their professional duties. A strong organizational culture fosters a supportive work environment, collaboration, and motivation among teachers, leading to improved performance. The study concludes that enhancing work discipline and cultivating a positive organizational culture are essential strategies for improving teacher effectiveness. These findings highlight the importance of school leadership in fostering these factors to achieve better educational outcomes.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that is experiencing a crisis of child abuse and sexual violence. Data from 2015 to 2019 shows a significant increase in this problem. KPAI data states that the culprit is the closest person to the child such as stepfather and biological, closest family, and colleague. When our children ask about their sexuality, we will be moved quickly. This attitudes like that mean wrong, because children have a curiosity about many things, if we as parents cannot direct properly, cannot provide clear information they tend to look for information from others and their friends, the information is not necessarily good. Very few people, especially parents who care about sex education and place sex as something important. Even many parents who do not provide sex education to children, with the reason the child will know it by itself. During this time, the idea of sex is belonging to adults only, so discussing the problem of sex in children is not easy. However, teaching sex education to children must be given so that children do not go wrong in their lives. The purpose of sex education in early childhood is to provide an adequate understanding of physical, mental, and emotional maturity processes, reducing fear and anxiety related to sexual adjustment and development. Sex education is given starting from the age of five, age 1-5 years, age 5-10 years, age before adolescence, adolescence. How to educate young children about sex through family, environment, and education at school.

Abstract

Quality education is the key to creating superior and competitive human resources. The Teacher Leader Education Program is one of the initiatives of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia to improve teacher competence and encourage positive changes in the education sector. This study aims to analyze the management of the teacher leader education program at the kindergarten level in Pekanbaru City, which involves two schools, namely TK Negeri Pembina 1 and TK Negeri Pembina 3. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, documentation, and observation. Research informants include teacher leaders, principals, and colleagues who are directly involved in the program. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the teacher leader education program in Pekanbaru City faces various challenges such as resistance to change and lack of support and time to carry out tasks. However, this program has succeeded in providing a positive impact in improving teacher pedagogical competence and creating a more innovative and effective learning environment. Good program implementation requires ongoing support from various parties, including facilitators, mentors, and the education community. Periodic evaluation and continuous improvement are needed to ensure that this program can achieve its goals optimally and make a real contribution to improving the quality of education in Indonesia.
