Abstract

This research aims to examine the impact of applying technology in learning Islamic Religious Education. Through a qualitative approach with a case study design, this research focuses on the integration of multimedia, online learning platforms, and interactive applications in the Islamic Religious Education curriculum. The research results show that the application of technology has a positive impact on student engagement, positive student responses to more dynamic learning methods, and challenges related to limited access to technology. Support and training for teachers was also found to be a key factor. The implications of the results of this research for curriculum development and efforts to provide equitable access to technology in the context of Islamic learning are also discussed

Abstract

Penelitian ini menyelidiki efisiensi pengelolaan dana sekolah di 250 sekolah dasar di seluruh Kalimantan, dengan menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial, termasuk Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). Statistik deskriptif menunjukkan nilai efisiensi rata-rata moderat sebesar 78%, dengan distribusi yang beragam di antara sekolah-sekolah. Statistik inferensial menyoroti hubungan positif yang signifikan antara efisiensi pengelolaan dana dengan ukuran sekolah, lokasi perkotaan, dan komunitas yang berkembang secara ekonomi. Selain itu, DEA mengkategorikan sekolah-sekolah ke dalam kategori sangat efisien, cukup efisien, dan kurang efisien, yang memberikan perspektif yang berbeda. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan yang dapat ditindaklanjuti oleh para pembuat kebijakan dan pendidik untuk meningkatkan praktik pengelolaan dana, yang berkontribusi pada tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan di pendidikan dasar di Kalimantan.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the effectiveness of the implementation ofcurriculum 2013 in SD Negeri 010 Sungai KunjangSamarinda. A qualitative approach was applied to answer the research problem. The researcher involved school principal, teachers and first, second, fourth and fifth grade students as the research subjects through snowball sampling. Meanwhile, the research object was the implementation of curriculum 2013. Methodology triangulation was applied to check the trustworthiness of data, by comparing results of interview, result of observation and result of questionnaire. The data crosschecking was also conducted between sources, such as the school principal and the teachers, aboutthe implementation of curriculum 2013 in the research setting. Based on the data analysis, it is found that 1) the teachers havedocuments of lesson planning such syllabus and lesson plans which made independently through class KKG; 2) the teachers had implemented the learning process very well as it had been planned. However, some teachers have not had skill in information and technology so that they have difficulties in inputting data for students’ progress report; 3) the number of book for curriculum 2013 and the number of students are considered in adequate number; 4) the teachers had conducted the opening section, main section and closing section during the learning process; 5) the school principal had supervised the class at the beginning of the learning process.

Abstract

Online education has become an integral part of modern education, with the rapid advancement of technology shaping the way students access and engage with learning content. In this evolving landscape, digital tools play a pivotal role in enhancing the online learning experience. This re-search investigates the effectiveness of the Padlet application in online-based learning, aiming to shed light on its impact on student engagement, collaboration, and learning outcomes. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative analysis of pre- and post-assessment scores and survey data with qualitative insights from interviews, focus group discussions, and content analysis of Padlet boards. Participants include students, educators, and administrators from diverse online-based learning environments. The quantitative analysis re-veals a statistically significant improvement in learning outcomes among students who utilized Padlet, indicating its positive influence on academic achievement. Survey data and qualitative analysis underscore Padlet's role in facilitating interactive and collaborative learning experiences, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and peer-to-peer knowledge sharing. This study provides valuable insights into the potential of Padlet as a versatile tool that can significantly enrich online-based learning experiences. The adaptability and user-friendliness of Padlet make it a valuable resource for educators and students alike.

Abstract

The digital age has ushered in a new era of educational possibilities, offering innovative tools and resources to engage students in the learning process. This research investigates the impact of e-books on elementary school students' reading comprehension, utilizing a mixed-methods approach to provide a comprehensive understanding of the subject. The study, conducted in a diverse urban elementary school, employed both quantitative pre- and post-assessments and qualitative interviews with students, teachers, and parents to assess the effects of e-book integration. Quantitative findings revealed a statistically significant improvement in students' reading comprehension scores following exposure to e-books. Qualitative insights highlighted enhanced engagement, motivation, and differentiated learning experiences. Educators, students, and the broader educational community stand to benefit from the results of this research, which provide evidence of the feasibility and benefits of e-book integration in elementary education. These findings offer promising prospects for the evolution of curriculum design, educational technology implementation, and more inclusive and accessible learning environments in the digital age.

Abstract

Background. This research explores the implementation of picture card media to enhance basketball-playing skills among primary school children Purpose. Grounded in a literature review, the study addresses the challenges in fostering interest and understanding of basketball concepts at the elementary level. Method. Utilizing a comprehensive literature review methodology, key theories of early childhood learning, and the efficacy of visual aids are examined. Results. The analysis indicates that the integration of picture card media has the potential to overcome challenges related to children's comprehension of the game, enhancing both cognitive and motor skills. However, potential obstacles such as limited teacher training and resource availability must be carefully considered for successful implementation. Conclusion. The study concludes by highlighting the need for a holistic and culturally sensitive approach in designing educational strategies, ensuring the media's visual content aligns with the children's cultural context. The findings of this literature review provide a theoretical foundation for future empirical research, emphasizing the significance of tailored approaches to support effective learning experiences for primary school children in basketball.

Abstract

This article was to improve students' ability to analyze the viscosity material in implementing the Arduino-based MRSM (Mini Reed Switch Magnetic) teaching media. The researchers used a quasi experimental design in the form of non equivalent pre-test post-test group design. The instruments used were tests and observation sheets to obtain data. Data collection on theability to analyze through giving tests to students. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed an increase in the ability to analyze by 20%. The highest assessment aspect in the first aspect is the ability of students to find problems encountered and be able to distinguish problems that fit the theme. The results of this trial produce data on the implementation of learning by 98% with a reliable category. Hence, MRSM teaching media is able to improve the ability to analyze students. Abstract

This service activity is intended to explore the potential use of technology to improve digital literacy among students by utilizing the Kinemaster application as an innovative learning tool. Digital literacy is a crucial factor in individual success in a society that relies on information technology, and multimedia applications such as Kinemaster are considered to have a significant role in achieving this goal. The approach applied in this PKM is to provide training to participants, especially students and teachers, on the use of Kinemaster applications to create multimedia content that supports learning. They are taught how to edit videos, add multimedia elements, and produce interesting learning materials through this application. The positive impact of this activity involves improving participants' digital literacy skills, increasing their ability to use technology for learning, and increasing their interest in creative exploration through multimedia. The positive contribution of this PKM is reflected in the development of digital literacy among students, supporting a more interactive and technology-based learning process, and creating opportunities for participants to become more skilled and responsible multimedia content producers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of motivation and knowledge on entrepreneurial interest in Universitas Negeri Makassar students with entrepreneurship education as an intervening variable. The study will use a quantitative approach with a survey method. The research population is all entrepreneurship students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Makassar which amounted to 427 students. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire and later calculated using the Slovin dai with a sample size of 85 (eighty-five) respondents or 20% of the total population. The findings of this study indicate that motivation and knowledge have a significant role in shaping entrepreneurial interest through entrepreneurship education. Individual motivation, whether sourced from personal passion, career goals, or the drive to create change, can be a strong driver to develop entrepreneurial interest. Entrepreneurship education provides a foundation of knowledge and practical skills that strengthen this motivation. With the knowledge gained through education, individuals can understand the aspects of entrepreneurship, identify opportunities and overcome business challenges. The combination of high motivation and solid entrepreneurial knowledge creates a favorable environment for the development of entrepreneurial interest.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether entrepreneurship education and technopreneurship literacy among students contribute to entrepreneurial interest through self-efficacy in Vocational High School students. This research is categorized as quantitative research with a population of 500 Vocational High School students and a sample of 100 students. Data collection was done with documentation and questionnaire techniques. The analysis technique used is path analysis using SPSS software. Research shows that both directly and indirectly entrepreneurship education and technopreneurship literacy contribute to positive and significant interest in entrepreneurship through self-efficacy in vocational high school students. Based on the results of this study, entrepreneurship education and technopreneurship literacy are very important to start teaching and given to students in Vocational High Schools, not only in one particular department but need to be taught in all departments, because with entrepreneurship education and technopreneurship literacy can increase self-efficacy and and ultimately can contribute to entrepreneurial interest in students.
