Abstract

  Strengthening the relevance of art education in the Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG) requires integration between local culture and the needs of the creative industry. This research aims to develop a learning model based on the Nusantara Cultural Information System that functions as a contextual reference in the preparation of a portfolio of PPG students' artworks. This model is designed so that students' portfolios not only reflect artistic competence, but also conform to creative industry standards based on local cultural richness. The approach used is Research and Development with the ADDIE model, focused on the Analysis, Design, and Development stage. At the analysis stage, a needs study was carried out through literature studies, curriculum analysis, and interviews with stakeholders in the creative industry and art education. The design stage produces a digital-based learning framework with the integration of Nusantara cultural content and creative production references. At the development stage, a prototype model is prepared in the form of learning modules, digital information systems, and guidelines for the preparation of contextual portfolios. The results of the initial formative evaluation show that this model has the potential to improve the contextuality of the work, encourage the exploration of local culture, and strengthen the linkage between arts education and the needs of the creative industry. This research contributes to the development of a PPG curriculum that is more relevant and adaptive to the development of the digital arts and culture ecosystem.

Abstract

  The development of a learning model based on the SIPETA information system (Information System for Aesthetic Assessment and Artistic Engineering) was carried out to answer the need for objective and reflective academic supervision in arts and culture education, especially in the Teacher Professional Program (PPG). The main goal of this study is to present a digital system that is able to systematically record and analyze the progress of students' artworks and techniques as a basis for decision-making in curriculum development. The method used is a Research and Development approach with the ADDIE model which focuses on the initial three stages: analysis, design, and development. Data were collected through interviews with lecturers, studio class observations, and literature reviews and portfolios of student work. The results of the analysis show that conventional assessments are still subjective and poorly documented. The SIPETA system is designed with excellent features such as uploading digital works, technical-aesthetic assessment rubrics, progress timelines, visual feedback, and evaluation dashboards. Validation shows that this system is feasible to use in the context of learning art practice. The results of the development show that SIPETA is able to significantly improve the quality of students' academic evaluation and reflection. In conclusion, the SIPETA learning model has the potential to be a data-based curriculum supervision tool, strengthen academic transparency, and encourage digital transformation in adaptive and sustainable arts education.

Abstract

Rumah-rumah di Kampung Heritage Kayutangan masih belum tertalu banyak ekplorasi dan penguatan dari sisi eksterior maupun interior. Hanya beberapa rumah yang Nampak klasik dengan desain arsitektur original peninggalan zaman Belanda. Padahal jika menasbihkan kampung ini sebagai kampung wisata heritage harus lebih banyak ekplorasi gaya penataan dan penambahan property baik di luar maupun di dalam rumah. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada warga kayutangan untuk dapat membuat ekterior/interior property dari kayu dengan gaya colonial Belanda yang natural dan menimbulkan nuansa heritage. Metode pelatihan menggunakan project base learning, dengan metode demonstrasi, dan penugasan. Hasil pengabdian ini menghasilkan produk D.I.Y Photowood yang bertujuan memberikan penguatan pada desain fasad dan interior rumah tinggal bergaya kolonial di Kayutangan Kota Malang.

Abstract

Sadikin Pard was a physically disabled painter from Malang who consistently demonstrated dedication to painting from 1987 until the end of his life in 2024. Since 1989, he had been a member of the Association of Mouth and Foot Painting Artists (AMFPA) and actively participated in various national and international exhibitions. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach using the case study research method. Data were collected through artwork observation, interviews, and literature review. The findings indicate that Sadikin Pard consistently applied firm and bold brushstrokes, strong textures, and contrasting colors in his paintings. His works produced during 2018–2024 reveal a tendency toward intuitive and spontaneous creation, reflected in assertive strokes and strong textures, although some works also display smoother and subtler brushwork. Furthermore, the artworks created between 2018 and 2024 demonstrate shifts in style and thematic expression, evolving from an expressive tendency toward refined details, before returning to a more expressive style in the final period of his artistic career. Sadikin Pard also made a significant contribution to the academic sphere of art education through the establishment of a painting studio in 2011, which was open to all children, both non-disabled and those with mental disabilities. This initiative was motivated by his concern to pass on artistic knowledge to future generations while responding to the limited attention given to the development of fine arts, particularly painting, in Malang.
