Abstract

This research aimed to analyze Arabic language learning strategies based on curriculum integration from the perspective of Bloom's Taxonomy at Diniyah Puteri Islamic Boarding School. A qualitative approach with a case study method was used in this study. Data collection techniques included interviews with Arabic teachers, the headmaster, and the head of the Diniyyah Arabic Center (DAC). Other data collection techniques subsumed observation of learning activities and documentation from curriculum and lesson plans. The authors used Miles and Hubberman’s analysis theory to analyze the data. The substantive findings of this study showed that Arabic learning strategies based on integration of the Ministry of Religion's curriculum and the Diniyyah Arabic Center (DAC) from the perspective of Bloom's Taxonomy fell into the following: (a) the stages of remembering consisted of remembering pearls in the language environment, memorizing daily vocabulary, and memorizing conversations; (b) the stages of understanding consisted of listening to Arabic announcement strategies and using reading and translating methods; (c) the implementation stage consisted of Nasyaat Al-Akbaar, comparative studies, direct strategies, listening and speaking strategies; and (d) the creating stage consisted of Arabic camps, composing songs, and weekly speeches. The findings of this study infer that curriculum integration provides opportunities for students to improve Arabic language skills with varied strategies.

Abstract

The Ministry of National Education has developed the 2016 Arabic language learning syllabus for high school level (SMA and MA) with specialization programs. This syllabus is often complained by Arabic teachers. This study was conducted with a qualitative approach because the data were analyzed in the form of information presented in narrative form and the results of the analysis were also presented in a narrative-qualitative manner. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman and strengthened by the Krippendorff model content analysis technique. Based on the results of a study of the contents of the syllabus, it was found that there were substantial ambiguities. This imposedness includes imposed identity and imposed content. The ambiguity was present in the form of imposed identity in the mention of names of subjects (subjects of Arabic language and literature, courses in Arabic, even subjects of Indonesian / French). The ambiguity of content includes: inconsistencies between components, KD formulation, cognitive-psychomotor domains, language skills (receptive-productive, and impersonal meaning.

Abstract

The organic waste in Jongkong Pasar Village is a serious problem. The civilian was prone to throw waste into the Kapus Hulu River that passes the village. Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to develop Arabic sentence-writing learning materials (kitabah al-jumal) based on the Moodle Learning Management System for beginner-level students, particularly graduates of non-Islamic senior high schools who have limited foundational competence in Arabic. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) design using the Hannafin and Peck model, which consists of analysis, design, and development and implementation stages, with the study limited to the product validation phase. The analysis stage involved observations, interviews with lecturers, and diagnostic tests to identify learners’ needs. The design stage produced five core instructional units, PDF modules, learning videos, and their integration into Moodle. The development and implementation stage comprised product construction and expert validation, while product feasibility was assessed using questionnaires and analyzed using percentage calculations. The material expert provided a score of 77% (good/feasible) with several revision notes related to linguistic accuracy, whereas media expert validation scored 90.67% (very feasible) with no required revisions. Limited implementation with 32 students indicated that the product was easy to use and supported comprehension of basic sentence structures, suggesting that the developed materials are feasible and appropriate for beginner learners and may serve as a foundation for further Moodle-based Arabic instruction in higher education.
