The implementation of mathematics learning activities in schools often faces several obstacles. One of these obstacles is the low motivation to learn mathematics owned by students. Various things cause low motivation to learn mathematics, ranging from incompetent teachers, inadequate learning facilities and infrastructure, mathematical anxiety owned by students, and an unsupportive learning environment. Low learning motivation will result in low learning outcomes obtained by students. Counseling guidance is one of the solutions used to overcome the problem of low student motivation to learn mathematics. By using the literature review research method, this study aims to determine the increase in students' mathematics learning motivation if given counseling guidance. Articles were collected and selected by utilizing existing search engines. Inclusion criteria in this process include counseling guidance to increase motivation to learn mathematics, research on junior high school students, and conducted in Indonesia between 2013 and 2023. The independent curriculum is a curriculum that contains the profile of Pancasila students in its use. The main characteristics of Pancasila students include faith, devotion to God Almighty and noble character, global diversity, mutual cooperation, independence, critical reasoning, and creativity. These six profiles can be formed through guidance and counseling applied in primary school learning. The purpose of guidance and counseling activities itself is to form students' personalities in accordance with the demands of the independent curriculum applied in the school. This article contains the implementation of guidance and counseling activities conducted at SDN 13 Parit Putus with the aim of realizing the profile of Pancasila students in elementary schools. The results showed that SDN 13 Parit Putus does not yet have experts in the field of guidance and counseling, but the implementation of guidance and counseling has been well integrated in learning and all activities conducted at school, namely routine habituation activities that direct students to become Pancasila students who can apply Pancasila values in everyday life.

Bullying is a very troubling phenomenon in society that occurs almost worldwide. Bullying has also penetrated the world of education, such as universities. This study aims to look at the impact of existential therapy in building awareness of death for bullies. The research method is experimental with a pretest and posttest design approach. The subjects of this study were active students in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year at college X, and samples were taken with purposive sampling techniques totaling ten people. The data were revealed using a validated and tested bullying comprehension questionnaire. Descriptive data were processed using an interval formula to see the impact of existential therapy on building awareness of death for bullies who used Wilcoxon signed-rank tests. The results showed that the awareness of the death of bullies became better so that they no longer had the desire to commit bullying actions. The researchers are further expected to develop a group guidance model with an existential therapy approach to prevent bullying behavior in college students
