Abstract

Individual quality of life is influenced by health, both physical and psychological health. Individual psychological health is related to mental health. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on public health, especially in the world of work. Based on this, the researchers conducted research on the mental health condition of the community in the work environment in terms of gender and length of work. This study uses a comparative descriptive research method. The research sample amounted to 38 people, namely 11 male and 27 female. The research sample came from Sumatra and Java. The instrument used in this study is a mental health instrument. Data collection is done through google form. Data analysis using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics using the program JASP (Jeffrey's Amazing Statistics Program) version 0.12 and the Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) program. The results showed that men's mental health was better in the work environment than women and there were differences in mental health in terms of length of work. Therefore, to improve the mental health of workers, it is possible to apply religiosity in the work environment.

Abstract

This study aims to demonstrate the effectiveness of group mentoring services utilizing assertive training techniques in enhancing the interpersonal communication skills of students. A quasi-experimental design was employed, with a sample of twenty students from a public junior high school in Indonesia, evenly divided into experimental and control groups using probability sampling with simple random sampling techniques. Interpersonal communication skills were assessed using instruments developed by the researchers and evaluated by experts. Data analysis involved the Wilcoxon signed-rank test and Kolmogorov-Smirnov. The results indicate a significant increase in the interpersonal communication skills of the experimental group students, with their average scores increasing from 67.2 before receiving group counseling services to 123 after implementing assertive training techniques. In contrast, the control group's average scores increased from 87.1 to 105.6 after the same intervention. This study highlights the effectiveness of group mentoring with assertive training techniques in enhancing students’ interpersonal communication skills, contributing valuable insights to the field of educational psychology and counseling.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the still high incidence of academic procrastination among junior high school students. The purpose of this research is to examine whether academic self-efficacy and parental support contribute to students' academic procrastination. This research used a cross-sectional design, with a sample of 250 students selected through proportional stratified random sampling. The research instruments used included measurements of academic self-efficacy, parental support, and academic procrastination. Data were analyzed using multiple regression with the help of SPSS version 25.00. Research findings show that academic self-efficacy contributes negatively to academic procrastination (standardized beta = -.613, sig = .000), and parental support also shows a significant contribution (standardized beta = -.215, sig = .000). The implications of this research highlight the need to increase students' self-efficacy and parental support through a series of psychological interventions to reduce cases of academic procrastination among students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the high level of dependence on the use of the internet, especially as a medium of entertainment.Game online become one of the entertainment of various ages. Play Game online Too much can trigger the behavior game addiction. Academic procrastination or delay in learning is one of the effects of behavior game addiction the. This study aims to analyze the contribution of academic procrastination to behavior game addiction. This research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational type. The population of this study was faculty students at a university from various batches with a sample of 163 people, who were selected through a technique proportional stratified random sampling. The instrument used is a behavioral scale game addiction, academic procrastination scale with the Likert model. Research data were analyzed using a simple regression technique. The findings of this study indicate that student academic procrastination is in the moderate category, academic procrastination contributes significantly to student behavior.game addiction, The implications of the findings of this study can be used as input for creating a Guidance and Counseling service program at the university level.

Abstract

This study aims to demonstrate the role of group bimbigan service using assertive training techniques in improving student interpersonal communication skills. This research uses quasi-experimental design. Sampling techniques use probability sampling with simple random samplings. The sample involved twenty students at the 3rd Basung State High School, Indonesia, divided equally into experimental and control groups. Instruments used to measure interpersonal communication skills are instruments created by researchers and already through judges hired by several experts. Data analysis methods using the wilcoxon signed rank test and kolmogrov smirnov. Results show that group mentoring services use effective assertive training techniques to enhance student interpersonal communication skills. The interpersonal communication skills of the experimental group students before being given group counselling services using assertive training techniques were on average 67.2 then after being given the group coaching services using the asserative training techniques there occurred an improvement on average to 123. Then the control group before being granted the group counseling services was on average 87.1 after having been granted group mentoring services increased on average 105.6. The exhibition showed that group guidance using assertive training techniques can improve student interpersonal communication skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of Play Therapy using colored paper to reduce mathematical anxiety in children. The research method used is Single Subject Research with an A-B-A design. The subjects of this study were third-grade children of SDN 211 / IX Mendalo Darat. Determination of the subject of this study using purposive sampling technique with the criteria for children's mathematic anxiety conditions are in the very high category. The data collection instrument for this research is the mathematic anxiety scale, interview, and observation. The data analysis technique used is the visual analysis of data and graphics. The findings of this study indicate that Play Therapy using colored paper is effective in reducing children's mathematical anxiety in AA subjects, as the impact of counseling changes in the baseline phase increases during the intervention and stabilizes in the follow-up phase. It is suggested that school counselors apply Play Therapy in developing effective daily life (KES) and eliminating daily effective life (KES-T) which aims to form an independent person.

Abstract

Exams are a common activity at school, and students commonly experience anxiety related to exams. This study attempts to provide a general understanding of exam anxiety. This kind of study use quantitative descriptive research techniques and a test anxiety questionnaire as a tool for gathering data. The study's participants were SMAN 13 Padang students. Simple random sampling was used to select the subjects. This study combines descriptive analysis with data analysis tools. The findings of this study suggest that exam anxiety has a variety of manifestations. Each aspect has a different percentage; the emotional reaction aspect, which is the largest, falls into the high category, with a percentage of 38.9%; the cognitive reaction aspect, which is the highest, has a percentage of 53.7%; and the physiological reaction aspect, which is the largest, falls into the medium category, with a percentage of 37.9%. These findings suggest that many respondents struggle with exam anxiety. In order for attempts to combat and avoid exam anxiety, Counselling Guidance Teachers and Counsellors will use this research as information.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the presence of symptoms that appear in adolescents at the Bening Nurani Padang Foster Home who do not yet have the ability to make sense of the events and life events they experience and make adolescents sink and dissolve in misery, without the flexibility to rise.. Religiosity and social support are factors that are thought to influence adolescent resilience. Religiosity and social support are factors that are thought to influence adolescent resilience. This study aims to analyze: 1) religiosity, social support, and adolescent resilience, 2) the relationship between religiosity and adolescent resilience, 3) the relationship between social support and adolescent resilience, and 4) the relationship between religiosity and social support together with youth resilience. This research uses a quantitative descriptive correlational method. Respondents in this study were adolescents at the Bening Nurani Padang Foster Home. The research sample was taken as a whole from the existing population with a total of 97 people. The research instrument used a questionnaire with a Likert scale model. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, simple regression and multiple regression. The research findings show that: (1) on average, adolescent religiosity is in the high category, (2) social support is in the high category, (3) adolescent resilience is in the high category, (4)there is a positive and significant relationship between religiosity and adolescent resilience, (5) there is a positive and significant relationship between social support and adolescent resilience, and (6) there is a positive and significant relationship between religiosity and social support and adolescent resilience.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Perlindungan Hukum Terhadap Orang Jompo Di Panti (Studi Kasus Di Panti Jompo Kota Palembang), dilatarbelakangi oleh pemikiran yang mendasar bahwa membangun keluarga bahagia dan sejahtera merupakan tujuan setiap orang. Untuk mewujudkan keluarga yang bahagia, Islam mengaturnya dengan hak dan kewajiban antar anggota keluarga termasuk di dalamnya kewajiban anak terhadap orang tua. Sementara itu, realitas yang berkembang, banyak anak yang menitipkan orang tua ke panti jompo. Melihat kenyataan ini timbullah pertanyaan mengenai alasan anak dalam menitipkan orang yang kemudian dihubungkan dengan perlindungan hukum terhadap orang jompo di panti.  Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini adalah mengenai bagaimana pola perlindungan hukum bagi orang jompo di Panti Jompo Kota Palembang, dan Apa saja langkah-langkah yang ditempuh dalam membina orang jompo di Panti Jompo Kota Palembang, serta bagaimana perspektif maqâshid al-syarî’ah terhadap pola perlindungan hukum dan pembinaan orang jompo di Panti Jompo Kota Palembang. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam jenis penelitian Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan dimana data-data dikumpulkan dengan cara mengamati/observasi dan wawancara .Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Pola perlindungan hukum orang jompo di panti adalah Perlindungan hukum yang bermakna; terdiri dari dua suku kata yaitu Perlindungan dan Hukum. Artinya, perlindungan menurut hukum dan undang-undang yang berlaku. Pengertian perlindungan hukum adalah suatu perlindungan yang diberikan terhadap subyek hukum dalam bentuk perangkat hukum baik yang bersifat preventif maupun yang bersifat represif, baik yang tertulis maupun tidak tertulis. Dengan kata lain perlindungan hukum sebagai suatu gambaran dari fungsi hukum., yaitu konsep dimana hukum dapat memberikan suatu keadilan, ketertiban, kepastian, kemanfaatan dan kedamaian. Adapun perlindungan hukum terhadap orang jompo di panti jompo dalam perspektif maqasid al-syari’ah yaitu perlindungan yang diberikan kepada orang jompo di panti oleh para petugas  yang diberi tugas untuk melindungi, melalui pembinaan baik fisik maupun mental yang berkaitan dengan kemaslahatannya, bagaimana hak-hak yang tetap melekat pada orang jompo dalam kaitannya dengan hak pemeliharaan agama (hifz} al-din), hak pemeliharaan jiwa (hifz al-nafs), hak pemeliharaan akal pikiran (hifz al-‘aq).
