Abstract

Violations that often occur in school are disciplinary violations committed by students. Discipline problems are problems which, if not resolved quickly, will have an impact on the smoothness of the learning process in the classroom. Some of the personnel who play a role in overcoming discipline problems in schools are counselors and school principals. This research is a library research, by searching, reading, studying, and analyzing the content of books and supported by various literature related to them. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that school counselors and school principals play an important role in overcoming student discipline problems. In addition, cooperation with other school personnel is needed to overcome disciplinary problems that occur.

Abstract

Expressive writing activities are one of the approaches that can be an alternative in helping to solve the problems of learning difficulties faced by students. In order to gain a better understanding of this, it is necessary to conduct a study to understand the extent of the usefulness of expressive writing activities. The purpose of this study is to review the application of expressive writing activities in helping to solve learning difficulties. Furthermore, systematic literature review research was applied using the PRISMA method to fulfill the research objectives. Data collection was done through digital tracking from a reliable source, Google Scholar. After the tracking and selection process, 11 studies were collected that discussed expressive writing activities and learning difficulties. It was found that expressive writing is one of the alternative activities to help solve various learning difficulties.

Abstract

Human beings are the most noble creatures created by God and have a uniqueness that distinguishes between one individual and another. This uniqueness is a distinctive distinguishing feature between each individual, both psychologically and physiologically. The most basic thing for counselors to understand the individual as the orientation of counseling practice is whether or not the needs of the individual are met because the problems that arise in an individual are not met by their basic needs such as physical, technical, social, taste, and the needs of faith and piety. This will encourage individuals to be in disturbed daily effective life behaviors. Thus, a counselor must try to analyze the condition of the individual as a counseling practice, namely whether or not these five basic needs are fulfilled to be able to provide intervention or assistance to clients when providing counseling services so that they are ineffective daily living conditions.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explore how school brands can be used as a tool to instill character in students through learning the Koran. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, which involves in-depth interviews with teachers, school principals, students and parents, as well as direct observation of Al-Qur'an learning activities. Research findings show that a strong school brand, appropriate strategy and implementation, as well as an appropriate evaluation program to measure effectiveness play a significant role in establishing a learning environment that supports the cultivation of discipline and responsibility. The strategies implemented include collaboration with student parents, building commitment from teaching staff, setting clear and measurable targets, interactive learning activities, and implementing positive habituation programs in students' daily lives. Measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of cultivating the character of discipline and responsibility at SDIT IQRA Serang City is carried out through various activities involving all elements of the school, including teachers, students and parents. Measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of character cultivation includes tahfidz d exam activities, counseling for students and parents, coordination meetings as well as progress reports and program preparation. The conclusion of this research is that a school brand that is well designed and implemented can be an effective means of developing discipline and responsibility in students, which ultimately supports the achievement of learning targets as well as students' academic and non-academic achievements.

Abstract

Background: The impact caused by stunting is not only on physical development but will also have an impact on the child's psychology. Adolescents with stunting need to have high spirits so that they can be able and survive in life they avoid psychological impacts such as stress, withdrawal, depression, anxiety, and fear. The purpose of this study was to see the psychological impact caused by stunting in adolescence. Methods: The literature review method was used to search for articles in electronic databases, namely Google Scholar, Research Gate, and PubMed/Medline. Results: The search was carried out using the keywords "stunting", "psychological impact", "adolescents", "anxiety", and "stress". Analysis conducted by the authors of 6 relevant articles found that there was a psychological impact on adolescents with stunting. Conclusion: The existence of counseling teachers can provide information services to develop positive potential in students, besides that social support and efficient parenting are needed so that teenagers can overcome the psychological impact they experience so that they can get through adolescence and plan for the well future.Keywords: Stunting; Psychological Impact; Adolescents

Abstract

This research was initiated by the condition of students who still have no internalized conformity to school regulation. Basically, each learner has different awareness in conforming school regulation. Some of them do it because of their self-awareness, and othersdo it because of their anxiety to behave and obey school regulation. The objectives of this research were to describe (1) the internalized conformity of students to school regulation concerning the way they dress, (2) the internalized conformity of students to school regulation concerning the way they behave, (3) internalized conformity to school regulation in conforming, (4) and the difference of internalized conformity to school regulation between male and female students. This research used quantitative approach with descriptive comparative, with 251 students as sample chosen by using proportional random sampling tecnique. The result revealed that the level of internalized conformity of students to school regulation was in medium category. There was a difference of internalized conformity to school regulation between male and female students.

Abstract

Pernikahan dini masih menjadi fenomena yang mengkhawatirkan di Indonesia, meskipun akses informasi di era modern semakin luas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pemahaman dan perspektif remaja terhadap pernikahan dini, serta dampak dari kegiatan edukatif yang diberikan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan sebagai bagian dari proyek pengabdian masyarakat di SMAN 2 Muara Bungo oleh tim dari Program Studi Informatika Medis, Universitas Muhammadiyah Muara Bungo. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif melalui penyuluhan dan diskusi interaktif, yang disertai dengan kuesioner sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman siswa mengenai risiko pernikahan dini—dari 30% sebelum kegiatan menjadi 95% setelahnya. Inisiatif edukatif ini berhasil mengubah pandangan remaja, menunjukkan bahwa pernikahan dini bukanlah solusi, melainkan masalah kompleks yang berdampak pada pendidikan, kesehatan, dan masa depan mereka. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan serupa perlu dilakukan secara berkelanjutan dengan melibatkan orang tua dan guru.

Abstract

This study departs from the expectation that high or low student learning motivation are influenced by self-efficacy and family environment. The results of the study show that: 1) self-efficacy has a significant effect on learning motivation. 2) self-efficacy and parental support have a significant effect on learning motivation. This research is an associative descriptive study. The sample in this study is the business management students of class X and XI that are registered at Padang Private Vocational School. The findings from this study are expected to be a reference for teachers and other academic communities to be able to pay more attention to students in learning by giving attention to the family environment and paying attention to their learning attitudes and also help increase student motivation in learning so that maximum learning outcomes are obtained

Abstract

This research is qualaitative research by designing phenomenon research. The aim of the research is to describe how the strategy, lane and promotion administrative in administrating the new college students in Marime Academy Sapta Samudra Padang. The information got from four seaman lectures, four institution lecturers, BAAK and two other staffs. The technique of collecting information by using samling purposive. Technique of data collection is interview, observation, and documentation. Technique of data analysis is data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclution. The result of research is to describe that the strategy in administrating new college students was good enough in Marime Academy Sapta Samudra Padang. The strategy involved media social, brochure, calender, banner, wall watch, umbrella which have martime logo on them, and come to school by inviting two college students. The lane of administrating new college students and administration was not good enough, because the lane of administrating new college students still found without testing and extra or addition time. Meanwhile, the administration was not complete, such as there is no permission letter, can’t get permission from the school, limited time, no committee and meeting. So, college students got confused when they follow the school visiting. Abstrak. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan rancangan penelitian fenomenologi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap bagaimana strtegi, jalur, dan administrasi promosi penerimaan mahasiswa di akademi maritim Sapta Samudra Padang. Adapun informasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 4 orang dosen pelaut, 4 orang dosen tetap, Ka. BAAK, dan 2 orang staf lainnya. Teknik pemilihan informan menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dengan wawancara, obsevasi,dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan anatara lain: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil Penelitian ini adalah untuk strategi promosi penerimaan mahasiswa baru di Akademi Maritim Sapta Samudra Padang sudah cukup baik melalui media social, brosur, kalender, spanduk, jam dinding, payung berlogo kampus dan sosialisasi langsung ke sekolah dengan melibatkan 2 orang mahasiswa aktif. Untuk jalur penerimaan mahasiswa dan admiistrasi belum cukup baik karena pada jalur penerimaan masih ditemukan calon mahasiswa tanpa tes yang terjadual serta banyaknya perpananjangan waktu penerimaan mahasiswa baru, sedangkan administrai banyak ditemukan kekurangan antara lain: tidak mengirimkan surat, tidak dapat izin dari sekolah, waktu yang pendek, tidak ada kepanitiaan dan tidak dirapatkan, terjadinya tumpang tindih antara sesama siswa yang ikut dalam kunjungan kesekolah

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the effect of the implementation of education and training on the performance of employees of PT Putra Mustika Tour Travel Jakarta. The research method used in this study using a quantitative approach that is intended to test the hypothesis. The data used are primary data obtained through field survey, as for hypothesis testing done by linear regression analysis tool. The object of research is employees of PT Putra Mustika Tour Travel Jakarta with a population of 43 people directly sampled. Sampling technique in this study using saturated sample method. Technique analysis data using simple regression analysis previously tested the validity and reliability. The results obtained sig 0.01 then <0.05 so Ho is rejected so there is influence between the implementation of education and training on employee performance
