Abstract

The Kurikulum Merdeka emphasizes character education through the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) to integrate Pancasila values into learning. This article aims to analyze the application of environmental learning in the P5 Program at SD Negeri Karangtanjung. The study employed a qualitative descriptive method through observation, interviews, and documentation. Results indicated that P5 activities such as chili planting, recycling materials, and ecoprinting support contextual learning, enhance critical thinking skills, and instill sustainability values in students. It is concluded that the P5 Program based on environmental learning effectively strengthens students' character and Pancasila profiles by engaging them in activities relevant to their surroundings.

Abstract

Numeracy represents a core competency required to navigate the demands of the 21st century. This research aimed to investigate how traditional games influence elementary students’ numeracy abilities and motivation to learn mathematics. This quantitative research involved 60 fourth-grade students from two randomly selected classes in an elementary school in Ngawi Regency, consisting of 30 students in the experimental group (exposed to traditional games) and 30 students in the control group (not given the treatment). Data were collected through numeracy tests (pretest and posttest) and learning motivation questionnaires. The data were analyzed using the Independent Sample t-Test. The findings revealed that: (a) there was a significant effect on numeracy skills in the experimental group after the implementation of traditional game-based learning (t = 5.103, p = 0.000); and (b) there was a significant effect on mathematics learning motivation in the experimental group (t = 6.382, p = 0.000). Therefore, it is crucial for teachers to integrate traditional games effectively as a strategy to enhance numeracy skills and learning motivation in elementary education.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum represents an educational reform aimed at enhancing the quality of learning in Indonesia. A central component of this curriculum is the Project for Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students (P5), which seeks to cultivate students’ core values, including religious character. However, the religious dimension of the P5 profile remains underexplored, especially at the elementary level. This study analyzes the implementation of the P5 project in developing students’ religious profiles in elementary schools in Kebumen, focusing on Grades I and IV. Data were collected using focus group discussions, interviews, observations, and documentation. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, involving data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. Findings reveal that students exhibit strong religious characteristics across five indicators: religious behavior (88.75%), personal behavior (88.50%), social behavior (87.88%), environmental behavior (80.50%), and national behavior (88.00%). These outcomes place the religious attitudes of students in the "excellent" category. Schools employed various strategies to instill religious values aligned with the P5 framework. These included narrative-based instruction, daily habituation practices, and teacher modeling to foster faith, piety toward God, and noble conduct. The implementation of P5 in the religious dimension has been effective in cultivating strong religious attitudes among elementary students. These findings highlight the importance of integrated character-building approaches within the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

The integration of technology in 21st-century learning is essential, particularly in science education, where interactive tools can enhance students' understanding of complex concepts. Exe-learning, a platform that supports the creation of interactive educational content, offers features such as quizzes, practice questions, and simulations that aid in concept comprehension. This study employed a Research and Development (RD) approach with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) to create an interactive electronic module for the IPAS lesson on "Energy Transformation." A nonequivalent control group design was used to assess the e-module's effectiveness. Data were collected using pretest-posttest assessments to evaluate module feasibility and effectiveness, complemented by interviews and observations. Data analysis included N-Gain and Cohen's tests to measure improvement in conceptual understanding. The validation of the e-module showed high feasibility scores: 66% for content, 94% for language, and 86% for media. The N-Gain analysis indicated significant improvement in students' understanding, confirming the module's effectiveness as a learning tool. The findings suggest that the scientifically structured, reading-based e-module promotes critical thinking and actively engages students, leading to improved comprehension of IPAS concepts. The exe-learning-based electronic module demonstrates potential as an effective educational medium, enhancing students' engagement and understanding in the study of energy transformation in elementary science.

Abstract

The integration of information and communication technology (ICT) in education offers significant opportunities for enhancing teaching and learning in the 21st century. This study aims to analyze elementary school teachers’ perceptions of ICT utilization in public schools in Kebumen Regency. A quantitative, cross-sectional survey design was employed. Data were collected from 109 elementary school teachers through online questionnaires distributed via Google Forms. Responses were measured using a 4-point Likert scale ranging from 1 (strongly disagree) to 4 (strongly agree). Descriptive statistical analysis was used to interpret the data. Findings indicate that teachers hold highly positive perceptions of ICT integration in learning. The perceived impact of ICT on student interest and motivation received an average score of 3.79, while the perceived benefits of ICT in learning scored 3.72. Teachers also acknowledged the educational value of ICT (mean score: 3.57) and expressed confidence in their ICT competence (mean score: 3.29). All scores fall within the high to very high category, suggesting strong support for ICT usage in the classroom. These results highlight a favorable outlook among primary school teachers regarding ICT in education. However, limitations exist, as the study focuses solely on elementary-level educators. The generalizability of findings to higher educational levels may be limited. Teachers in Kebumen exhibit strong support for ICT integration in primary education. Future research should consider longitudinal studies or expand to higher education contexts to assess the broader impact of ICT on teaching and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Collaboration skills are one of the essential 21st-century skills that students must master to face future challenges. In reality, low levels of collaboration skills and fundamental issues related to the collaborative abilities of fifth-grade students are still found in learning. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of integrating the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) model with multimedia in improving the collaboration skills of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Karangtanjung. This research employed a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach. The findings indicate that the integration of the STAD model with multimedia can enhance the collaboration skills of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Karangtanjung, with a percentage of 73.47% in cycle I (categorized as fairly good), 84.37% in cycle II (categorized as good), and 92.18% in cycle III (categorized as very good). It can be concluded that integrating the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) model with multimedia is proven effective in improving the collaboration skills of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Karangtanjung.

Abstract

Pendidikan di Indonesia diharapkan tidak hanya mengembangkan kemampuan intelektual siswa, namun juga dibina dalam hal pengembangan keterampilan dan karakter, terutama dalam hal kepedulian lingkungan. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan dengan media game online, meningkatkan kepedulian lingkungan peserta didik, dan mendeskripsikan respon peserta didik terhadap penerapan pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan dengan media game online. Penelitian dilaksanakan menggunakan metode tindakan kelas, dengan subjek peserta didik kelas III SD Negeri 2 Jatisari dan guru kelas III. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui non tes dengan observasi, angket, dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan dalam tiga langkah yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan dengan media game online mampu meningkatkan kepedulian lingkungan peserta didik kelas III SD Negeri 2 Jatisari, sehingga penerapan pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan dengan media game online dapat diterapkan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar.

Abstract

Kajian mengenai penguatan karakter melalui pembelajaran berbasis alam masih menunjukkan ketimpangan dan kompleksitas, terutama karena kurangnya sintesis riset yang mengintegrasikan berbagai bentuk kegiatan dan nilai karakter yang muncul di dalamnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan bentuk kegiatan berbasis alam yang digunakan dalam pembentukan karakter serta mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai karakter yang paling dominan dikembangkan. Metode yang digunakan adalah scoping review dengan mengkaji 3.165 artikel penelitian yang relevan. Analisis dilakukan melalui tahap identifikasi pertanyaan penelitian, pencarian literatur, seleksi studi, pengelompokan data, dan pelaporan hasil. Kriteria inklusi mencakup artikel yang membahas kegiatan pembelajaran berbasis alam dengan fokus eksplisit pada penguatan karakter peserta didik di berbagai jenjang pendidikan. Data dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan thematic synthesis untuk mengidentifikasi pola tema utama dalam bentuk kegiatan dan nilai karakter yang dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat empat bentuk kegiatan utama, yaitu proyek dan penelitian lingkungan, integrasi nilai dan karakter lingkungan, kegiatan lapangan dan observasi alam, serta pengembangan media atau modul pembelajaran alam; (2) nilai karakter yang paling dominan dikembangkan meliputi tanggung jawab (29,3%), peduli lingkungan (14,8%), kreatif (11,2%), religius (8,1%), dan rasa ingin tahu (7,7%); dan (3) diperlukan kerangka kebijakan pendidikan berkelanjutan berbasis alam yang mengintegrasikan pendekatan ilmiah, sosial, dan spiritual. Maka, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis alam merupakan pendekatan yang efektif untuk membentuk karakter ekologis, sosial, dan moral peserta didik secara holistik.

Abstract

Inovasi pembelajaran di abad ke-21 merupakan dasar penting untuk mengembangkan identitas manusia Indonesia yang kreatif dan berdaya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini, yaitu: (1) mendeskripsikan penerapan langkah-langkah model Project Based Learning pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di kelas III; (2) meningkatkan kreativitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di kelas III melalui penerapan model Project Based Learning; (3) mendeskripsikan kendala dan solusi dalam penerapan model Project Based Learning untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di kelas III.  Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam 3 siklus. Hasil rata-rata kreativitas siklus I tergolong rendah (70,31%). Siklus II tergolong sedang (80,94%), dan siklus III tergolong sedang (87,5%). Persentase rata-rata ketuntasan siswa ranah kognitif siklus I pertemuan 1 (35%) dengan nilai rata-rata kelas 70,05, pertemuan 2 (60%) dengan nilai rata-rata 76,8. Persentase siklus II pertemuan 1 (70%) dengan nilai rata-rata 80,3; pertemuan 2 (85%) dengan nilai rata-rata 87, dan pada siklus III memperoleh persentase ketuntasan sebesar 90% dengan nilai rata-rata 89,65. Adapun ketuntasan hasil belajar ranah afektif siklus I = 75,73; siklus II = 85,52; siklus III = 88,54. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini, yaitu penerapan model Project Based Learning dapat meningkatkan kreativitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di kelas III.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi belum diterapkannya model pembelajaran yang tepat dalam pemecahan masalah sehingga keterampilan numerasi siswa rendah serta kurangnya variasi penggunaan media pembelajaran khususnya media konkret saat pembelajaran juga berpengaruh pada kemandirian belajar siswa. kurang mandiri dalam belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah penggunaan model pembelajaran Polya; meningkatkan keterampilan numerasi Matematika materi bangun ruang; dan meningkatkan kemandirian siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek penelitian guru dan siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Jatisari yang menggunakan data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, angket, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian penggunaan model pembelajaran Polya melalui langkah-langkah: (1) memahami masalah; (2) merencanakan penyelesaian; (3) melaksanakan penyelesaian; dan (4) mengecek kembali jawaban. Ketuntasan keterampilan numerasi pada siklus I = 64,88%, siklus II = 77,58%, dan siklus III = 92,46% sedangkan ketuntasan kemandirian siswa pada siklus I = 69,18%, siklus II = 78,38% dan siklus III = 87,98%.  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Polya dapat meningkatkan keterampilan numerasi Matematika materi bangun ruang dan kemandirian pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Jatisari.
