Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic is the background for the more extensive development of online learning media used by education in the teaching and learning process. Media and teaching materials are crucial parts of the learning process, especially in online learning. The formulation of the problem in this research is how the development of learning media using WhatsApp and Android GIF animation on the subject of Body Anatomy can be understood by students. The research objective is to find out the development of media and teaching materials on the Body Anatomy subject using WhatsApp media and Android GIF animations. The research was carried out using the R&D method. Online learning media were developed through the validation stage by material experts and media experts. The attractiveness of learning media is based on small-scale trials carried out on 12 students and large-scale trials carried out on 22 students. The test subjects were carried out on 8th grade package B students at PKBM At-Tajdid, Cimahi City. So, the WhatsApp learning media and Android GIF animations that were developed received research in the interesting category and are suitable to be used as learning media for Package B on the Body Anatomy subject.

Abstract

This community service was carried out by Tadulako University lecturers and students in Doda Village, Kinovaro District, Sigi Regency. There is one thing that is the focus of the community service work program in Doda Village, namely a culture of low community literacy. The high number of school-age children is not accompanied by adequate literacy facilities. So that the literacy movement in Doda Village only relies on facilities and support from schools. The creation of a reading corner aims to provide literacy facilities and form reading habits in order to increase interest in reading as part of the literacy movement in Indonesia. The implementation of community service activities begins with observation, then is carried out in stages, namely social reflection, program planning, program implementation and evaluation. As an effort to form reading habits in order to foster children's interest in reading, assistance is provided for reading activities at the reading corner of Doda Village, Kinovaro District, Sigi Regency. The result of this service is the growth of children's interest in reading in Doda Village, this can be seen from the high enthusiasm of the children during the reading assistance activities which are carried out every week. It is hoped that this community service activity will foster children's interest in reading as an effort to activate the literacy movement in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Information collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique uses data collection, reduction and verification. Meanwhile, testing the validity of the data uses triangulation.The research results show that 1) the professional competence of teachers at MI NU Raden Rahmat 95 Pasuruan, all teachers are certified educators.2) Madrasah Head Leadership Strategies in improving teachers' professional competence include carrying out direct supervision and training for teachers, providing role models, creating a sense of togetherness, involving teachers in various training, training, seminars and KKG. 3) Factors inhibiting increasing professional teacher competence include students who are difficult to manage, students who disturb their friends and students who often come in and out of class. Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that has a significant impact on children's physical and cognitive growth. In Jakatan Raya Village, Rungan District, Gunung Mas Regency, the stunting rate is still high, mainly due to the lack of balanced nutritional intake in early life. This article discusses community service aimed at introducing purple sweet potato steamed cake as an innovation for Complementary Breast Milk (MPASI) to prevent stunting. This activity includes training, mentoring, and evaluation of the effectiveness of purple sweet potato steamed cake in increasing children's nutritional intake. The results showed an increase in mothers' knowledge about the importance of MPASI, positive acceptance of this innovation, and an increase in nutritional intake in children. Although effective, challenges related to access to raw materials and variations in presentation still need to be overcome for the sustainability of the program.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge to Elementary School 5’s teachers in Syamtalira Aron about how to create Canva-based learning presentation media. The method we apply is direct assistance to teachers in the process of creating Canva-based Learning Presentation Media. Our team will provide intensive guidance to assist teachers in mastering the use of Canva and designing effective presentation media. The expected outcome of this service activity is to offer substantial support to teachers, enabling them to independently create learning presentation media that suit their needs. By focusing on Canva as a creative tool, we want to ensure that teachers can optimize the use of presentation media in their learning process. Through this assistance, it is hoped that teachers will acquire not only new knowledge but also practical skills in creating engaging and effective learning materials. It is hoped that this assistance can offer sustainable solutions for teachers in addressing the challenges of modern learning. Keywords: Mentoring, Learning Presentation Media, Canva.

Abstract

Food sovereignty is one of the main programs of the Indonesian government at this time. Food sovereignty must start from gradual food self-sufficiency followed by an increase in the added value of agricultural businesses that are widely used to improve the welfare of farmers. Some of the obstacles include land status, land to be printed is recorded as a forest area, water sources do not yet have adequate irrigation networks. The purpose of this service is to evaluate the achievement of the rice field printing program, analyze obstacles in achieving the program to re-optimize rice field printing land. The methods used are the Survey Preparation Stage, Survey Stage, Investigation Stage and Evaluation Stage and Report Preparation. The results obtained are: the rice field printing program only reached 10 hectares of the expected 200 hectares or only reached 5%, so real follow-up action is needed from the recommended steps, namely: increasing PPL, improving irrigation networks, adding facilities and infrastructure, and rice fields are used as secondary crops. Although there are obstacles faced, they can be resolved well.

Abstract

Abstract. Land reclamation has become one of the alternatives to utilize marine areas for increasing land productivity. In the capital of South Sulawesi, Makassar City, the Center Point of Indonesia (CPI) project involves land reclamation as an effort by former governors of South Sulawesi in collaboration with private sectors to enhance the city's economic infrastructure. This research aims to analyze the impact of CPI land reclamation on fishermen's income in Bontorannu Village, Mariso Sub-district, Makassar City, and the efforts of fishermen in coping with reclamation that affects their income. The study employs field research using qualitative methods with data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The researcher proceeds with qualitative descriptive data analysis upon gathering all information and data. The findings indicate that there is a significant impact caused by the reclamation, namely a decline in income among fishermen in Bontorannu Village, Mariso Sub-district, due to difficulties in accessing fishing grounds, leading many fishermen to switch professions. Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the awareness of the community around the IAIN Ambon campus regarding the importance of plastic waste management and maintaining environmental cleanliness. Through the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, students of the Islamic Criminal Law Study Program at the Faculty of Sharia IAIN Ambon acted as facilitators in the socialization and implementation of plastic waste recycling activities. This activity included education on the negative impacts of plastic waste, waste sorting practices, recycled product creation, and waste cleanup actions. The results showed positive changes in community behavior towards the environment and improved students' skills in applying the amar ma'ruf nahi munkar principle. This activity not only had a tangible social impact but also strengthened the application of Islamic values in the context of environmental preservation.

Abstract

Tenggarong Seberang District is one of the agencies under the auspices of the Kutai Kartanegara Regency Government which still uses a correspondence system as a means of official communication or assignment. The large number of incoming letters or outgoing letters in Tenggarong Seberang District, of course, currently requires a system that can facilitate and assist the letter archiving process. In Tenggarong Seberang Subdistrict, letter filing is still done manually, sometimes when you want to find a letter data and letters that have been stored for a long time in a warehouse or letter storage box are difficult to find because they are stacked with other letters and even the letters you are looking for are often lost. So after analyzing the Tenggarong Seberang District, it is planned to make an archiving application that can store data properly and safely. The letter archive application created will use the Macro VBA Excel system to manage the inputted archives. This research method uses the DSRM method which consists of 6 stages, namely Problem Identification and Motivation, Define the Objectives for a Solution, Design and Development, Demonstration, Evaluation, Communication. To get a solution to this problem is to create a Macro VBA Excel-based Mail Archive system to store mail data safely and easily.

Abstract

Lampung is a multicultural region with a variety of tribes, cultures, customs, languages, and religions. With such diversity, we must tie with a sense of nationalism over the ownership of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to describe how islamic multicultural education in sakai sambayan culture has been implemented in multicultural societies. In its implementation, qualitative research was used with phenomenological and naturalistic approaches was focused on implementation of islamic multiculturalism education in sakai sambayan culture of the West Tulang Bawang societies. This study concluded that (1) sakai sambayan culture is vital since it can be used as a medium and means of implementation of islamic multicultural education, containing the fundamental beliefs and knowledge sources in harmony with Islamic teachings and (2) sakai sambayan culture has multicultural Islamic educational values, such as unity and solidarity, mutual respect and tolerance, work together, and keeping of social relationship and social harmony among Lampung societies. This research has implications for developing the Islamic multicultural education in West Tulang Bawang regency as a region of multicultural.
