Abstract

This research aims at revealing the effect of emotional intelligence and self-efficacy towards learning achievement of the 8th grade students in SMP Islam Terpadu Ar-Rahman south of Jakarta. This type of research is a survey method. Data instruments are emotional intelligence questionnaires and self-efficacy questionnaires, the mathematics learning achievement data from the daily test scores of students through the description questions. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. The results of the regression analysis of significance between emotional intelligence on mathematics learning achievement showed the results as much as 0,551 (0,551 > 0,05), self-efficacy towards mathematics learning achievement as much as 0.333 (0.333> 0.05). The significance of variance analysis was obtained at 0.350 (0.350> 0.05). The results of this data analysis show that emotional intelligence and self-efficacy together no meaningful affect the learning achievement of mathematics. The implication of this study is that students who have high and moderate emotional intelligence and self-efficacy do not have a significant effect on improving learning achievement, thus emotional intelligence and self-efficacy are not the main factors that influence student learning achievement.

Abstract

Abstract

The research argued that ‘Finding Paradise’, the third installment of adventure RPG video games developed and published by Freebird Games, embodied excellent storytelling techniques for illustrating loneliness and those who experienced it in society. The ‘Finding Paradise’ narrative used immersive technology to let players experience the subject at hand with their own senses. Video game design aimed for relevancy to contemporary society’s realities as well as compelling storytelling. Close reading was used to break down ‘Finding Paradise’ narratives into smaller aspects to strengthen and articulate a more connected relationship with the text; as a result, the researchers could draw interpretations within the text. By incorporating Herman’s fundamental narrative components into the ‘Finding Paradise’ narrative and examining how stories and narratives can be used as a teaching tool using the reader-response approach, it can be concluded that the subcomponents of the game’s narrative, specifically the representation of situatedness, event sequencing, worldmaking, and reality representation, provide a good example of developing a well-crafted and non-judgmental representation of loneliness as a mental illness and individuals who suffer from it that can also be used in EFL/ESL classroom.

Abstract

This research is field research that examines the Akad Partnership cooperation. The partnership referred to is a business activity broiler chicken farming in the form of collaboration between business partners consists of the People's Inti Company (PIR), namely the company that acts as the core provides raw materials and technical assistance and is responsible in marketing livestock products (eggs or chickens) and breeders as plasma act as manager of chicken cultivation and sell the harvest to the appropriate core by agreement. To carry out this collaboration, Plasma is the chicken farmer provided the conditions proposed by Inti, namely submitting a guarantee in the form of a land certificate. This collaboration explains the price at the beginning of the contract The calculation to Plasma is based on the contract price paid at harvest time to Plasma with calculations of debts for feed, medicines, vaccines along with the seeds given and the rest of the harvest are where Plasma makes a good profit or loss then gives full rights to Inti to market production result. According to the Islamic economic review, cooperation is carried out by Bakul as the core company and Plasma as the people's breeder is permitted in Islam, and is recommended based on the principle of mutual assistance in goodness. As long as the cooperation carried out adheres to principles help each other, need each other and benefit each other. But deep. There is little Islamic economics in the practice of chicken farming. Deviation is a matter of honesty and openness of the collaborating parties.

Abstract

Rice straw is a rice plant whose fruit (grain) has been removed, so only the stems and leaves are left. Rice straw is the largest among rice plant waste and has not been utilized as well. Utilization of rice straw waste is not optimal because its usually used for cattle feed and as organic fertilizer. Apart from being used as cattle feed and organic fertilizer, methane gas can still be used for alternative renewable energy sources such as biogas. Rice straw has a carbon-to-nitrogen (C/N) ratio content between 50-70. However, to achieve the optimum biogas formation, the substrate requires a C/N ratio of 20-30, therefore a combination of other waste mixtures, such as cow dung or waste that has a low C/N ratio content is usually carried out.

Abstract

Hypertension or high blood pressure is one of the significant health problems in the world, including in Indonesia. The prevalence of hypertension in Lima Puluh Kota Regency in 2022 reached 15% or 10,688 out of 70,250 people who took blood pressure measurements. However, only 627 people (11.8%) took blood pressure measurements and received hypertension services according to standards. Therefore, it is necessary to increase public knowledge about hypertension. This service activity was carried out in September 2023 through the emo-demo method, which expects health promotion efforts through an emotional approach. The service activities were carried out on 37 community members, and it was found that there was an increase in the average score of community knowledge from 51.56 to 90.63. An increase can follow this increase in community knowledge, attitudes, and actions toward efforts to prevent and control hypertension, including the prevention of complications of hypertension in the community.

Abstract

Welded joints, which encompass the criteria of welding base metal connections in the material, welding speed, material quality, and material toughness, are an integral aspect of tank construction. Steel material joints frequently fail during the Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) and Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) welding procedures because air droplets become trapped in the steel material during the welding process. Finding the primary reasons for welding failures is the goal of this study. Impact and microstructure testing are used in the welding research method on SS400 steel. The FCAW welding process uses E71T-1C (Kobe) Electrodes Steel Familiarc AWS A5.2 E71T-1C) at varying currents of 80 A (Root), 100 A (Filler), and 120 A (Capping), against SS400 steel plate material with a thickness of 10 mm x 200 mm x 200 mm in V Buut seams Joints. The GTAW ER 70 SG (Familiarc Filler/Rods TG-S51T) Electrode classification allows for 90 A (Root), 110 A (Filler), and 120 A (Capping). Plate 1 has a value of 36.3 kJ/inch in the heat input calculation findings at the three section sites, while Plate 2 has the highest value of 61 kJ/inch. In the meantime, FCAW plate 2 has an impact strength value of 142.1 J, and plate 1 has an average hit in the test results at each of the three places of the specimen, according to the impact test findings. Three welding parameter points were used to record the findings of the metallographic testing's microstructure observations. plates 1 and 2 on the capping, filler, and root. being aware of the areas in the welded junction between plates 1 and 2 that are impacted by heat in the microstructure. Because of the material's strong heat input, which makes the steel brittle and promotes the formation of pearlite rather than ferrite, plate 2 has the highest value in the impact test
