Abstract

Badan Pusat Statistik kota Batu menyatakan bahwa Batu merupakan tempat budidaya tanaman terbaik di Jawa Timur. Salah satu jenis tanaman yang dibudidayakan adalah anggrek. Namun, dengan berkembang pesatnya kebutuhan tanaman hias selain anggrek, membuat habitat anggrek menjadi kurang terawat dan pertumbuhannya menjadi kurang optimal. Kelompok tani budidaya anggrek Sidomulyo merupakan mitra pada pengabdian ini. Permasalahan yang terdapat pada mitra adalah kurang diperhatikannya anggrek yang tumbuh di persawahan sidomulyo. Hal ini menyebabkan anggrek yang masih kecil tidak terawat dan rentan membusuk. Bentuk kurang diperhatikannya tanaman anggrek tersebut adalah tidak adanya waktu dan tenaga untuk mengurus tanaman anggrek seperti melakukan pengairan yang baik, pemupukan yang teratur dan pengusiran hama pada tanaman anggrek. Solusi yang tepat untuk mengatasai permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan menerapkan teknologi tepat guna berbasis IoT untuk optimalisasi pertumbuhan anggrek di pertanian budidaya anggrek sidomulyo Kota Batu. Teknologi ini dikembangkan dengan tujuan membantu seluruh kebutuhan anggrek dalam beberapa aktivitas berupa pengairan, pemupukan dan pengusiran hama.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi inovatif bagi UMKM pakan ternak Nur Gamblong di Desa Sumberingin, Kecamatan Sanankulon, yang mengalami kesulitan dalam menyediakan pakan alternatif berkualitas bagi ternak ruminansia. Ketersediaan pakan hijauan yang menurun selama musim kemarau mendorong peternak beralih ke pakan berbasis limbah organik. Namun, limbah organik yang diterima dari pabrik sering tercampur dengan kotoran seperti tali dan kayu, yang menurunkan minat konsumen. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, Tim Pengabdian Program Edu-Sosio-Preneurship merancang mesin mixer yang dirancang untuk mencampur limbah organik dengan bahan tambahan berprotein tinggi, sehingga menghasilkan pakan alternatif bernutrisi tinggi secara lebih efisien. Pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi perancangan dan uji performa mesin mixer, serta penilaian kualitas nutrisi pakan yang dihasilkan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa teknologi mixer ini mampu meningkatkan efisiensi produksi pakan dan meningkatkan kualitas nutrisi, yang berdampak positif pada minat peternak untuk menggunakan pakan alternatif sebagai solusi yang lebih efisien dan bernutrisi, mendukung ketahanan pangan ternak di Kecamatan Sanankulon.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan keefektifan discovery learning terhadap skill competency siswa pada mata pelajaran gambar teknik mesin di SMK 2 Pasuruan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Jumlah populasi atau objek penelitian sebanyak 90 siswa dan jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 75 responden. Adapun responden dalam dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas X TPM. Penentuan sampel menggunakan rumus slovin. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan memberi angket atau kuesioner dan tes pada responden. Dalam membuktikan dan menganalisis hal tersebut, maka digunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, uji f (simultan) dan uji t (parsial). Abstract

One of the things that prevents harvest outcomes from being as good as expected is the pests. Making a pest repellent with solar power is one attempt to tackle pests. The purpose of this tool is to lessen crop losses brought on by pests such as birds, insects, and rats. This device uses eco-friendly frequency sounds to ward off pests without jeopardizing the ecosystem's ability to sustain itself. This study sought to determine how using pest repellents could improve agricultural output while maintaining the sustainability of the surrounding ecosystem. Based on data analysis findings, it was determined that pest repellents and agricultural productivity had a significant positive relationship for the sustainability of the environmental ecosystem (R 0.662 and sig.0,000).

Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan utama yang dihadapi adalah pembelajaran dasar desain grafis yang masih mengandalkan modul konvensional dan media presentasi, yang kurang efektif dalam membantu siswa memahami konsep, khususnya terkait penerapan gambar vektor. Disamping itu penelitian mengenai penerapan teknologi mobile untuk mengembangkan e-modul berbasis proyek dengan tujuan meningkatkan pemahaman dan partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran dasar desain grafis di SMK masih jarang dilakukan. Sehingga tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan Mobile E-Module untuk siswa kelas X DKV SMK Negeri 1 Kalitengah berbasis project-based learning pada materi dasar desain grafis untuk penerapan pembuatan gambar vektor. Untuk mengevaluasi e-modul, pendidik, praktisi lapangan, ahli media, ahli materi, dan 34 siswa berpartisipasi dalam proyek penelitian dan pengembangan. Wawancara, observasi, dan kuesioner adalah beberapa prosedur pengumpulan data, sedangkan metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif digunakan untuk pengolahan data. Penelitian ini berhasil mengembangkan e-modul Android berbasis PjBL yang valid, praktis dan layak digunakan. Berdasarkan uji keefektifan, skor N-gain dalam kategori tinggi dan peningkatan skor pre-test dan post-test merupakan indikator kebermanfaatan e-modul ini. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran desain grafis di SMK dapat memberikan siswa pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan, interaktif, dan beragam serta meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran. Keberhasilan penerapan teknologi seluler ini menunjukkan kemungkinan besar untuk menggabungkan teknologi terkait di bidang kurikulum SMK lainnya.

Abstract

This research highlights the significance of developing innovative learning media to enhance effective learning for class X Software Engineering (RPL) students at SMK Negeri 4 Malang. The study addresses the need to improve student engagement and deepen understanding of concepts, particularly in Control Structure and Branching material. The primary objective is to create an interactive and innovative Flipbook-based e-module as practicum media to support the learning process. Using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate), this research employs a systematic and structured approach in developing learning products. The Flipbook-based e-module achieved a feasibility score of 90% from material experts and 97.5% from media experts, indicating its high validity and feasibility. During the trial phase, the e-module obtained feasibility score of 89% from a small group and 90% from a large group, resulting in an average feasibility score of 89.5%. These findings demonstrate that the Flipbook-based e-module is highly suitable for implementation in the Vocational Basics subject for class X RPL students at SMK Negeri 4 Malang. Additionally, the small group test showed a student learning motivation score of 85.4%, while the large group test yielded 87%, with an average of 86.2%. This indicates that the developed product significantly supports students’ learning motivation, proving its high validity in improving engagement and understanding. These results affirm the Flipbook-based e-module is potential as an effective learning tool for vocational education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration between career guidance, career development, and the curriculum of Vocational High Schools (SMK) in an effort to improve the quality of graduates who are ready to work. Through a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected from various literature sources and previous research. The results of the analysis indicate that the synergy between career guidance, career development, and relevant curriculum can improve the competence and work readiness of SMK graduates. The implementation of a structured career guidance program, the development of an industry-based curriculum, and collaboration with the business world/industry (DUDI) are the keys to achieving these goals.

Abstract

This research aims to find out whether there is a significant simultaneous influence of self-confidence, practical experience, practical learning outcomes, entrepreneurial spirit on the entrepreneurial abilities of Fashion Design Vocational School students in Malang City. In this study, the sample of respondents was 134 students using quantitative methods. The analysis technique uses descriptive and inferential with hypothesis testing using partial correlation and multiple regression analysis techniques with classic assumption tests, namely normality test, linearity test, multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test and heteroscedasticity test. The research is quantitative descriptive in nature. The results of the research show the influence of the independent variables, namely the influence of self-confidence (X1) of 0.00, practical experience (X2) of 0.00, practical learning outcomes (X3) of 0.17, and entrepreneurial spirit (X4) of 0. 01 with the dependent variable, namely entrepreneurial ability (Y) of 0.00, both partially and simultaneously, which is indicated by a probability value of 0.05 which is greater than the Sig probability. (0.05 > Sig), Ηα is accepted and Ηο is rejected, meaning it is significant. Based on the results of analysis using multiple linear regression, the influence of self-confidence, internship experience, practical learning outcomes and entrepreneurial spirit on entrepreneurial ability) on entrepreneurial ability is 85.87% so it can be said that self-confidence provides an effective contribution of 86%, experience industrial work contributed 86%, practical learning results contributed 1% and the entrepreneurial spirit contributed 17%.

Abstract

This study discusses the importance of developing soft skills and hard skills for vocational high school students in preparing themselves to enter the workforce. Soft skills, such as communication, teamwork, and leadership, are considered key factors in creating a productive and harmonious work environment. Meanwhile, hard skills, which include specific technical abilities, are the main foundation in carrying out operational tasks. The combination of these two types of skills not only improves work efficiency but also allows the workforce to adapt quickly to changes and challenges in various industrial sectors. This study emphasizes that although hard skills are often the main focus, soft skills have an equally important role in supporting long-term career success. This study also identifies various effective strategies for developing both types of skills, including practice-based training, mentoring, and the use of technology in learning. The results of the study indicate that the integrated development of soft skills and hard skills can increase the productivity and competitiveness of the workforce in the era of globalization and digital transformation.

Abstract

The digital era has brought significant changes in various aspects of life, including in the fields of education and career development. Vocational High School students are faced with challenges to prepare themselves for an increasingly competitive and technology-based world of work. This study aims to identify effective career development strategies for vocational students in the digital era. Through literature analysis and case studies, this research found that the utilization of information technology, soft skills development, and collaboration with industry are key to improving students' work readiness. The results of this study are expected to provide insights for educators, students, and stakeholders in formulating career development programs that are relevant and adaptive to the needs of the labor market.
