Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to explore the forms of school culture transformation in strengthening teacher capacity in schools participating in the Program Sekolah Penggerak (PSP). The focus of the research is directed at understanding how principals and teachers interpret their involvement in the PSP and how changes in their beliefs, attitudes, and behavior reflect shifts in the school's organizational culture. A qualitative approach, employing descriptive methods, was used in this study. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and focus group discussions (FGDs) with three principals and twelve teachers from six schools in Barru Regency, South Sulawesi. The results show that the PSP has encouraged the birth of four main cultural transformations in schools, namely: (1) the growth of a renewed enthusiasm for learning among principals and teachers, (2) the reorientation of teacher learning goals from an administrative orientation to an orientation towards change, (3) a new focus on improving the quality of student learning, and (4) the development of a sense of community through teacher learning communities. These four transformations form a new school culture pattern characterized by being reflective, collaborative, and oriented towards sustainable change. The PSP has been proven not only to increase the individual capacity of teachers and principals, but also to foster a collective learning culture that serves as a foundation for sustainable educational transformation in schools. Keywords: PSP; school culture; teacher capacity

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan serta menumbuhkan pemahaman tentang budaya dan etika digital di kalangan konten kreator dan pemuda di Gampoeng Lancang Garam, Kota Lhokseumawe. Saat ini pemuda sebagai pengguna aktif media sosial memiliki peran penting dalam menciptakan ekosistem digital yang beretika dan berbudaya luhur merujuk pada nilai lokal (Aceh) dan nilai-nilai keislaman. Melalui kegiatan ini, tim pengabdian melaksanakan serangkaian sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan diskusi interaktif mengenai penggunaan media digital secara bijak, pembuatan konten positif, serta penerapan nilai-nilai budaya lokal dalam aktivitas digital. Kegiatan ini melibatkan beberapa pihak sebagai narasumber utama yang berasal dari kalangan akademisi dan praktisi digital. Sementara itu, peserta berasal dari masyarakat Gampong Lancang Garam. Kegiatan ini dilakukan ke dalam tiga tahapan utama; pertama, pre-test kegiatan, bertujuan untuk mendapatkan pengetahuan sementara peserta, kedua, kegiatan pelatihan, dan ketiga post-test untuk mengukur tingkat pengetahuan peserta pasca pelatihan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kesadaran dan pemahaman peserta terhadap pentingnya etika serta tanggung jawab dalam bermedia digital. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi langkah awal dalam membangun generasi muda yang berkarakter, kreatif, dan berbudaya di ruang digital

Abstract

Abstract: Students’ learning motivation is a crucial factor in determining the success of the learning process. Learning motivation is influenced by various external factors, particularly teachers’ professional competence and parental support. This study aims to examine the relationship between teachers’ professional competence and students’ learning motivation, the relationship between parental support and students’ learning motivation, and the simultaneous relationship between teachers’ professional competence and parental support and students’ learning motivation at SMP Negeri 13 Kolaka Utara. This study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational research design. The research sample consisted of 119 students selected using proportional sampling techniques. Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires measuring teachers’ professional competence, parental support, and students’ learning motivation. The data were analyzed using Pearson correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis at a significance level of 0.05. The results indicate that teachers’ professional competence has a positive and significant relationship with students’ learning motivation. Parental support also shows a positive and significant relationship with students’ learning motivation. Furthermore, teachers’ professional competence and parental support simultaneously have a significant relationship with students’ learning motivation, although the strength of the relationship is relatively low. These findings highlight the importance of collaboration between teachers and parents in fostering students’ learning motivation. Strengthening teachers’ professional competence and enhancing parental involvement are expected to contribute positively to improving students’ motivation to learn. Keywords: teachers professional competence; parental support; students learning motivation. Abstrak: Motivasi belajar siswa merupakan faktor krusial dalam menentukan keberhasilan proses pembelajaran. Motivasi belajar dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor eksternal, khususnya kompetensi profesional guru dan dukungan orang tua. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara kompetensi profesional guru dengan motivasi belajar siswa, hubungan antara dukungan orang tua dengan motivasi belajar siswa, serta hubungan simultan antara kompetensi profesional guru dan dukungan orang tua dengan motivasi belajar siswa di SMP Negeri 13 Kolaka Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian korelasional. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 119 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik sampling proporsional. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket skala Likert yang mengukur kompetensi profesional guru, dukungan orang tua, dan motivasi belajar siswa. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis korelasi Pearson dan analisis regresi ganda pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi profesional guru memiliki hubungan positif dan signifikan dengan motivasi belajar siswa. Dukungan orang tua juga menunjukkan hubungan positif dan signifikan dengan motivasi belajar siswa. Selain itu, kompetensi profesional guru dan dukungan orang tua secara simultan memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan motivasi belajar siswa, meskipun kekuatan hubungannya tergolong rendah. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya kolaborasi antara guru dan orang tua dalam menumbuhkan motivasi belajar siswa. Penguatan kompetensi profesional guru serta peningkatan keterlibatan orang tua diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style, motivation, and work stress management skills on employee performance at the Takalar Regency Education and Culture Office. The study uses a quantitative approach to examine the relationship between three independent variables leadership style, motivation, and work stress management skills and the dependent variable, namely employee performance. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 76 employees. The results showed that leadership style did not significantly influence employee performance with a regression coefficient B = 0.135 and a significance of 0.00, so this variable was not able to explain changes in performance partially. The motivation variable also did not significantly influence performance, with a regression coefficient B = –0.88 and a significance of 0.351. The negative coefficient cannot be generalized because it is not statistically significant. Conversely, work stress management skills had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a regression coefficient B = 0.442 and a significance of 0.000, which indicates that the better an employee's ability to manage stress, the higher the resulting performance. Based on a simultaneous test, the three independent variables significantly influenced employee performance, with an R² value of 0.396 and an F value of 15.730 (p < 0.05). This finding underscores the importance of strengthening stress management programs in the workplace and the need for organizational support to help employees cope with work pressure to optimally improve performance. Abstract

This classroom action research (CAR) focuses on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at UPT SD Negeri 4 Wanio. This research is qualitative with data collection techniques including observation and documentation. The subjects of this research are 11 students and 1 teacher. The research was conducted in 2 cycles. In cycle I, the teacher's activity was classified as Poor (K), the students' activity was classified as Fair (C), and the evaluation results received a classification of Poor (K). In the implementation of cycle II, the teacher's activity was classified as Good (B), the students' activity was classified as Good (B), and the evaluation test results received a classification of Good (B). Therefore, the conclusion of this research is that applying the GOLD learning model can improve the learning process and outcomes of students in the data presentation material in fifth grade at UPT SD Negeri 4 Wanio, Sidrap Regency.
