Abstract

Pancasila is the ideology that underlies the legal system and applicable policies. Pancasila as the ethical foundation for the life of the Indonesian nation aims to create a good and quality character of Indonesian society. Pancasila contains the pillars of life which include Divinity, Humanity, Unity, Democracy and Justice. It is hoped that current developments will have a positive effect on society, especially in the creative economy and tourism sectors. This sector is regulated by applicable laws and has legal force if there is abuse of the diversity of a particular culture. The foundation of the creative economy includes how society empowers the diversity of an area so that it can be developed according to the times without eliminating existing habits. The foundation of tourism includes how society manages the potential diversity of a region to differentiate it from other regions, and can attract local and foreign people to explore more deeply the diversity that exists in Indonesia. It is hoped that these two sectors can be managed well by the government and society in order to provide benefits or reciprocity to society.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of administering gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) accompanied by prostaglandin F2 alpha (PGF2) on the reproductive performance of female Aceh cattle. In this study, eight female Aceh cattle were used, divided into two groups, group I (K1, n= 3) which received estrus synchronization treatment with PGF2 and group II (K2, n= 5) which received estrus synchronization treatment with PGF2 (25 mg/cow) and gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH, 100 g/cow). GnRH injection in K2 was performed 48 hours after PGF2 injection. The estrus displays measured included onset, duration, and intensity of estrus. Blood collection for estrogen examination was taken from day 1 to day 5 after PGF2 injection, while progesterone examination was taken on days 7, 14, and 21 after artificial insemination. Ovarian response and pregnancy examinations were performed using transrectal ultrasonography (USG). Data on estrus appearance and steroid concentration were analyzed using the Mann-Whitney U test, and differences in pregnancy percentage were analyzed using the chi-square test. In contrast, the number of follicles, dominant follicle diameter, and corpus luteum were analyzed using a split-plot test. Oestrus intensity, oestrus onset, oestrus duration, pregnancy percentage, estrogen and progesterone concentrations, ovarian response in class II follicles, class III follicles, and CL size in K1 vs K2 showed no significant differences (P0.05). The effect of time on ovarian response in class III follicles and CL size showed a significant difference (P0.05). In contrast, the interaction between hormone administration and day of treatment on ovarian response in class II follicles, class III follicles, and CL size showed no significant difference (P0.05). Based on the research results, it was concluded that administration of GnRH accompanied by PGF2 tends to increase the reproductive performance of Aceh cattle.

Abstract

Before the arrival of the shahīh al-Bukhārī and shahīh Muslim, the Muslim people were more familiar with the kitab al-Muwaththa Imam Mālik. Kitab al-Muwaththa’ is a book that contains the Hadith and fiqh of the Mālic imam school. The Kitab al-Muwaththa’ is known as a book that contains many mursal hadiths. Many scholars after the death of imam Mālik tried to give commentary to the kitab al-Muwaththa’ according to their respective scientific backgrounds. Some give commentary in terms of hadith science, some give commentary from fiqh, and some try to propose hadiths in it that are considered unconnected. One of the hadith scholars who took part in giving syarah to this book was Syekh Muhammad Zakariyyā al-Kāndahlawiyy (1315-1402H/1898-1982). He is a 20th-century hadith scholar who is often a reference for Muslim scholars. One of his works that many Muslim scholars study is Awjaz al-Masālik Ilā Muwaththa' Mālik which is the syarah of the kitab al-Muwathta’. This study discusses the method of Muhammad Zakariyyā al-Kāndahlawiyy when interacting with hadiths that are considered mursal. This study is a literature study and uses a document analysis method with the help of ATLAS.ti software version 9.1.5.0. The results of this Study found that when Muhammad Zakariyyā al-Kāndahlawiyy interacted with the mursal hadith in the book of Awjaz al-Masālik Ilā Muwaththa' Mālik, he mentioned the status of the hadith if mursal, mentioned the cause of mursal, mentioned the reinforcing hadith of mursal hadith; if there is no reinforcement in other hadith books then he put fatwa the opinion of scholars. In general, he combines the methods of hadith scholars and fiqh scholars so that the hadiths that originally had mursal status can be used in the hadith and its fiqh.

Abstract

Buffer solutions are a crucial concept in chemistry that students often find difficult to grasp. An effective method to enhance students' understanding is through the use of dual representations assisted by animation. Dual representations involve using various forms of visualization, such as diagrams, graphs, and animations, to help students comprehend abstract concepts more effectively. The research type employed is research and development (RD) using a 4-D model consisting of four stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The research subjects were 26 students from class XII MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh. Data collection techniques were conducted by distributing questionnaires for student needs analysis, module and animation feasibility assessment, educator response to modules and animations, and student understanding tests. The developed module obtained very good assessment results from 2 validators with an average percentage of 89.16%, while the animation media received very good assessment results with an average percentage of 80.43%. Educators' responses to modules and animations were categorized as very good, with percentages of 94.17 and 95.84% respectively. Students' responses were also categorized as very good with an average percentage of 87.2%. The results of students' understanding were categorized as good with an overall score of 82.60%. Based on the results of this research, it is concluded that the animation-assisted multiple representation module on buffer solution material is highly suitable for use as teaching material in the learning process

Abstract

This article is motivated by the asymmetry connection between the growing discourses and applications of Islamic inheritance law in the Pontianak society and religious court decisions. In contrast, the decision of the religious court (Peradilan Agama, the Indonesian term, abbreviated for PA) must be implemented. This is an empirical legal study employing a legal sociology methodology. In-depth interviews, analysis of PA decision documents, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) with Pontianak PA judges were used to collect data. This study concludes that the construction of inheritance law by Pontianak PA judges employing the legal discovery method is more influential in terms of adhering to jurisprudence and evaluating inheritance provisions contained in fiqh texts. The judge's legal reasoning is based on socio-cultural reasoning, which examines the relationship between rights and family responsibilities in society. Among the inheritance provisions of the judge's ijtihad construction is 1) the restriction on substitute successors does not apply only to second-degree descendants, but to all descendants. 2) Daughters become the asabah in heritance even if they are not accompanied by males or sons. 3) Children of unrecorded marriages have the right to maintenance and obligatory wills from their fathers. The novel finding of this study is that, according to the sociology of law, local traditions in the application of inheritance law occupy a strategic position and contribute significantly to the manner in which judges construct law in court decisions, particularly Islamic inheritance.

Abstract

Goats are one type of livestock that has a high socioeconomic value for farmers. Most of the goats owned by farmers in Amplas Village are grazed and penned. Goats that are kept in a semi-intensive way are annually attacked by diarrhoeal diseases compared to goats that are kept intensively. This is thought to be due to the presence of gastrointestinal parasites that attack livestock due to the way they are kept. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of infection and intensity of gastrointestinal nematode parasites in goats reared with semi-intensive and intensive rearing systems. The samples examined were 60 faecal samples which were divided based on the rearing system. The samples were then taken to the laboratory of the veterinary center in Medan. The results of the observations showed haemonchus, trichuris, and capillaria sp. The highest prevalence value in Haemonchus sp. was 100%. The lowest prevalence was in Capillaria sp. with a value of 3.3%. The highest intensity was for Haemonchus sp. parasites with a value of 358 grains/ind. The lowest intensity was for Capillaria sp. parasites with a value of 10 grains/ind.Keywords: parasite, nematode, gastrointestinal, goat

Abstract

The determination of the onset of the Hijri month in Indonesia has frequently sparked controversy, especially among prominent Islamic organizations such as Nahdlatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah, as well as governmental entities like the Ministry of Religious Affairs. This contention arises from the diverse methods and criteria they adopt for the sighting of the hilāl (new crescent Moon) to mark the beginning of the Hijri month. This article delves into the interplay between fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and astronomy in determining the start of the Hijri month within the Indonesian context. Employing literature research with a scientific-cum-doctrinal approach, the article highlights three interactions between fiqh and science. Firstly, astronomy serves as a translator of jurisprudential concepts into empirical criteria for determining the beginning of the Hijri month. It underscores the interdependence of these two domains in decision-making rooted in religious beliefs and empirical knowledge. Secondly, the dynamic process of determining the start of the Hijri month in Indonesia reveals a complex interplay between fiqh and science, with varying viewpoints among religious scholars and scientific researchers regarding the criteria for moon sighting. Lastly, fiqh plays a role in legitimizing astronomy in the rukyah al-hilāl (crescent moon sightings) process through testimonies, wherein scholars of Islamic jurisprudence establish criteria for witnesses and use oaths to validate empirical scientific evidence supporting lunar visibility. This article offers valuable insights into the intricate relationship between fiqh and science in determining the start of the Hijri month in Indonesia.

Abstract

Islamic studies as a field of discipline has undergone significant transformation throughout its history. The methodology used in Islamic studies continues to evolve, in line with the social, political, and intellectual developments within Muslim societies. This article explores the relationship between traditional methodologies in Islamic studies and the contemporary, more inclusive, and interdisciplinary approaches. By incorporating social theory, sociology, gender studies, and philosophy, the article argues that Islamic studies methodology needs to adapt to modern dynamics in order to provide a more holistic understanding of the religious and social phenomena faced by Muslims today. Furthermore, the article examines how traditional methodologies, focusing on tafsir, hadith, and fiqh, can be integrated with modern theories such as postcolonial theory, political sociology, and feminist theory. The research shows that while classical Islamic thought provides a strong foundation, contemporary methodologies that are more open to interdisciplinary approaches can offer new solutions in addressing contemporary challenges such as radicalization, secularization, and pluralism in the Muslim world.ABSTRAKStudi Islam sebagai disiplin ilmu telah berkembang seiring dengan perubahan sosial, politik, dan intelektual dalam masyarakat Muslim, yang memunculkan kebutuhan untuk menyesuaikan metodologi dengan tantangan zaman.
