Abstract

The neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and Procalcitonin (PCT) are biomarkers that represent inflammatory activity and immune status as predictors for the prognosis of COVID-19 patients. NLR values and PCT levels are positively correlated with the severity of COVID-19, but the relationship between the two biomarkers is unclear. Objectives: To analyzed the correlation between NLR values and PCT levels in COVID-19 patients in Jember Regency. Methods: This cross-sectional analytic observational study, conducted from March to April 2022, took data from 444 confirmed COVID-19 patients at the Jember Clinic Plantation Hospital. Secondary data were obtained from medical records of inpatients for the period January–December 2021. Results: The average NLR value was 8.58, while the average PCT level was 0.43 ng/mL. The results of the Spearman Correlation Analysis showed a positive correlation between NLR values and PCT levels in COVID-19 patients in the Jember Regency with a p-value = 0.00 and a moderate degree of correlation with an r count of 0.41. Conclusion: There is a positive correlation between NLR values and PCT levels for COVID-19 patients in Jember Regency. It is necessary to carry out routine NLR and PCT examinations to consider predictors of disease severity and prognosis in COVID-19 patients.Keywords:  COVID-19, NLR, PCT

Abstract

 مشكلة هذا البحث هي أنّ الطلاب يشعرون بصعوبة في تعليم اللغة العربية و لم توجد إستراتيجية التعليم المستخدمة المؤثرة في تعليم اللغة العربية. يستخدم الباحث المدخل الكمي انتجه الطريقة شبه التجربة (Quasi Experiment). المجتمع في هذا البحث هو جميع طلاب الصف الحادي عشر، على عدد الطلاب أربعة وأربعون من فصلين. وأمّا عينة البحث فصل الحادي عشر "أ" يكون المجموعة التجريبية، وفصل الحادي عشر "ب" يكون المجموعة الضابطة. أم أدوات البحث المستخدمة في هذا البحث هي الاختبار والتوثيق. بناء على تحليل بيانات اختبار t على الاختبار القبلي والبعدي بمستوى دلالة 0.05٪، أظهر أن المتوسطتين في حين أن قيمة احتمال المجموعة التجريبية أصغر من مستوى الأهمية (0.000 > 0.05). لذلك يمكن الاستنتاج أنه في المجموعة التجريبية كان هناك اختلاف في نتائج التعليم بين قبل وبعد الإجراء. أي أن هناك فعالية تطبيق إستراتيجية المسابقة الجماعية (Team Quiz  ) على نتائج تعليم اللغة العربية لدى الطلاب.الكلمات الاساسية: إستراتيجية ؛ المسابقة الجماعية (Team Quiz)؛ نتائج تعليم.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana strategi yang dilakukan oleh KIP Kota Banda Aceh dalam mengedukasi pemilih pemula. Adapun teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Teori Informasi Organisasi oleh Karl Weick dan teori pembelajaran organisasi oleh Argyris. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses penerimaan informasi dilakukan KIP dengan mencari informasi seputar pemilih pemula dan memetakan jumlah pemilih pemula, proses seleksi dengan cara menyeleksi informasi yang dapat digunakan dan menjadi pemilu 2019 sebagai acuan, serta proses retensi dengan cara merumuskan strategi dan menentukan teknis pelaksaan program menjadi dasar dalam membuat strategi. Berdasarkan perspektif teori pembelajaran organisasi, strategi edukasi yang dilakukan KIP hanya menerapkan pendekatan single-loop learning dan tidak ada unsur double-loop learning. Artinya, strategi edukasi yang dilakukan oleh KIP masih belum optimal dalam menjangkau dan meningkatkan pemahaman pemilih pemula. Salah satu kendala utama adalah sebagian besar program edukasi masih menggunakan strategi yang diterapkan pada Pemilu 2019 tanpa adanya inovasi yang signifikan.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of determining the development of digital business literacy activities in agricultural management in Makassar City carried out by KT Cokonuri. This study was conducted in Gunung sari Village, Makassar City. The development of digital business literacy is suitable to be studied to measure the extent of development carried out by the KT Cokonuri Farming business. The research method used in this study is to use a qualitative research method with descriptive use. This study uses data collection techniques through field observation and interview methods. The informants in this study numbered three people, namely the chairman, treasurer, and also the field extension worker at KT Cokonuri. Informant sampling was used using the purposive sampling technique. This study shows that there is still a lack of development of digital business literacy carried out by KT Cokonuri members. Digital business literacy is only carried out if there are training activities by instructors and is not carried out routinely. The development that needs to be carried out is more related to digital business literacy activities, including (1) utilizing technology, (2) conducting routine socialization related to digital business, and (3) overcoming obstacles by adding facilities to support literacy activities. Abstract

Data is one of the main things in computer science engineering (ICT) problems, data can mean a situation, image, sound, letter, number, mathematics, language or other symbols. Facts that often occur about data are the need for storage capacity and the need for Data transfer time, which is a case that must be observed in this requirement, is caused by the increasing amount of data that must be stored in RAM memory. Based on the results of the tests carried out: Files compressed by the sequitur algorithm make it easier to use the internet so that the time required will be shorter and the possibility of download and upload jobs failing will be smaller. Then transferring files over the network will be faster, the delivery time depends on whether the provider is fast or not and the size of the file to be sent and helps in reducing the size of the file so that it can reduce the storage capacity of a memory / RAM. A text file is a collection of various related information in text form, text files originating from documents, letters, numbers and symbols will be compressed with a sequitur algorithm. The need for large storage capacity seems increasingly important. This need is caused by the increasing amount of data stored over time, especially for the business and banking world. These companies generally need very large capacity to store all important data and files. The Leveinstein algorithm is a development of the sequitur algorithm, where a file approximates the difference between a string and the source string. The difference value between strings is expressed as the edit distance value. In contrast to the Leveintein algorithm which works on a character-by-character basis, the sequitur algorithm operates by enforcing uniqueness diagram constraints and usability rules.

Abstract

قد تطور تعلم اللغة العربية في كثير من جامعات بإندونيسا خاصة في استعياب مهارة الكلام. مع ذلك, هناك عوائق كثيرة في تعلم مهارة الكلام. كما قد كشفت الدراسات والبحوث بأن في تعلم مهارة الكلام القلق اللغوي كعائق رئيسي. لذا, هدفت هذه الدراسة الحالية إلى استقصاء مستوى القلق اللغوي في تعلم مهارة الكلام لدى طلبة اللغة العربية بخمس جامعات مختارة في سياق إندونيسيا. كذلك استهدف هذا البحث لتحديد الفروق ذي دلالة إحصائية حسب الجنس ومدة التعلم والجامعات. لهذا البحث تم استخدام تصميم البحث الكمي بصياغة استبانة مقياس القلق في فصول تعلم اللغة الأجنبية الذي طوره Horwitz et al (1986). أفراد الدراسة هي 320 من طلبة اللغة العربية بخمس جامعات بجاوى الشرقية، إندونيسيا. بشكل عام أشارت نتيجة البحث إلى أن مستوى القلق اللغوي في تعلم مهارة الكلام أتى منخفضا. ظهرت نتيجة اختبار-ت إحصائيا إلى وجود الفرق ذي دلالة إحصائية في مستوى القلق اللغوي حسب الحنس والجامعات، بينما عدم الفرق اعتمادا على مدة التعلم. الكلمات المفتاحية: القلق اللغوي، مهارة الكلام، طلبة الجامعة، تعلم اللغة العربية، مشكلات الكلام.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the level of competition and competitive strategies used by culinary businesses in Binamu District, Jeneponto Regency. This study uses qualitative methodology. This study is categorized as qualitative descriptive research based on the existing problems. The research process uses observation, interview, and documentation methodologies. The three processes needed to interpret qualitative research data are data reduction, information presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings show that the strategies used by culinary businesses in Binamu District to increase their business turnover include choosing products that have higher market opportunities, choosing the right and strategic location, setting the right price, and improving service quality. This can be seen from the level of income that tends to increase in culinary businesses and consumers are satisfied with the culinary business offerings that are the case study in this study.

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian mix metode deskripsi kualitatif dan kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi komunikasi pemasaran dan bauran promosi yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan Telkomsel dalam mempromosikan kartu By.U dalam menjangkau pasar anak muda. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kantor Telkomsel Jakarta Pusat, namun dikarenakan pandemic Covid 19 menjadi melalui virtual menggunakan zoom. Pengambilan data primer dilakukan melalui dua cara yaitu wawancara dan kuesioner. Wawancara terhadap informan yang terlibat dalam mempromosikan kartu By.U dalam menjangkau pasar anak muda, Adapun informan adalah Ibu Evita Purnamasari selaku By.U creative branding evangelist. Dan kuesioner terhadap respon khalayak yang melihat dan kepuasan terhadap promosi yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan Telkomsel dalam memperkenalkan Kartu By.U, Ada 110 respondent dari berbagai daerah di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Perusahaan Telkomsel dalam mempromosikan kartu By.U menggunakan strategi komunikasi dengan metode Agile yang dimana perusahaan telkomsel selalu literasi Bersama penggunanya yang notabenenya anak muda dalam mengembangkan produk yang dikembangkan sekarang, dan juga perusahaan Telkomsel menggunakan bauran promosi untuk menggaet para konsumennya dengan 4 bauran promosi yang telah dilakukan oleh perusahaan Telkomsel yaitu; periklanan (advertising), personal Selling, Publikasi, dan Pameran, penggunaan strategi promosi yang menarik dapat menarik perhatian para khalayak terkhususnya anak muda. Media yang digunakan oleh perusahaan Telkomsel dalam mempromosikan produknya terkhusus kartu perdana By.U adalah media sosial yang dimana penggunanya anak muda. Abstract

Foreign Language Anxiety (FLA) significantly impacts language acquisition, yet its interplay with Language Learning Strategies (LLS) remains underexplored in the context of Arabic language learning in Indonesian Islamic higher education. This study examines the relationship between FLA and LLS among university students learning Arabic at STAI Al-Yasini Pasuruan, Indonesia. In this setting, cultural and religious factors may uniquely influence language anxiety. The research aims to assess the levels of FLA, evaluate the frequency of LLS use, and explore the correlation between these variables. Employing a quantitative descriptive and correlational design, data were collected using Horwitz and Cope’s Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale (FLCAS) and Oxford’s Strategy Inventory for Language Learning (SILL). The study involved 82 students, selected through convenience sampling due to its practicality and accessibility within the institution’s academic schedule. Descriptive statistics revealed moderate anxiety levels among participants, with female students reporting slightly higher anxiety than males. Students moderately used most LLS categories but employed compensation strategies less frequently. Pearson product-moment correlation analysis indicated a statistically significant negative correlation (r = -.140, p < .05) between FLA and LLS, suggesting that increased use of LLS is associated with reduced anxiety in Arabic language learning. These findings offer practical implications for educators integrating strategy training to mitigate FLA, particularly in culturally distinct educational contexts.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the development of the times that many tours are found in the Bonto Bahari District area, of course, there needs to be a special strategy carried out as an effort to remain competitive with other existing tours. With the existence of Tanjung Bira Beach tourism, of course, it can have a positive and negative impact on the economy of the people on Tanjung Bira Beach. The purpose of this study is to describe the tourism development strategy in improving the community's economy at Tanjung Bira Beach, describe the impact of tourism development at Tanjung Bira Beach in improving the community's economy, and describe the obstacles faced in developing tourism at Tanjung Bira Beach and the solutions taken. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Tourism development strategies in improving the economy of the surrounding community in the form of adding objects of attraction, developing accessibility, amenity, public facilities, institutions, and the potential that tourism objects already have with facilities and infrastructure that are already owned. (2) The impact of tourism development is income from foreign exchange, additional community income, additional government revenue, opening up jobs, multiplier effects, utilization of facilities by local communities, and no negative impact. (3) The obstacles faced in the development of tourism on Tanjung Bira beach are limited funds, lack of creativity of managers, and lack of cohesiveness or community involvement. The solution is in the form of regular evaluations, and receiving suggestions from visitors regarding development and what needs to be developed again.
