The family is the most fundamental social institution, playing a crucial role in shaping individual character and community resilience. In the context of globalization and the digital era, families face various challenges, such as moral crises, communication disruption, and the negative influence of social media, which demand a family concept that is not only harmonious but also resilient and adaptive. This study aims to analyze the concept and implementation of the sakinah family movement from Muhammadiyah's perspective as a foundation for building a progressive civilization. This study used a qualitative method with a library research approach, reviewing various literature sources including books, scientific journals, articles, and official Muhammadiyah documents. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques to identify the concept, principles, and implementation of the sakinah family within the context of modern life. The results show that Muhammadiyah, as a modern Islamic movement, has a strong commitment to building society through strengthening the family institution. The concept of the sakinah family from Muhammadiyah's perspective emphasizes not only harmony but also the integration of the values of monotheism, justice, equality, and social responsibility. The sakinah family movement is realized through various development programs such as premarital guidance, Islamic parenting, economic empowerment, and family digital literacy. Abstract

The reality of implementing differentiated learning within the Merdeka  Curriculum is increasingly evident nowadays. This requires a contextual-adaptive response from all elements of the subject area, including Islamic Religious Education. This study aims to explore a contextualized differentiated instruction model for Islamic Religious Education  within the Merdeka  Curriculum in three Indonesian secondary schools. The study used an exploratory, sequential, mixed-methods design. In the first stage, qualitative data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. This was done to identify actual practices of differentiated  instruction and to construct a prototype model. In the second stage, quantitative data were collected from 96 respondents, consisting of teachers and students. A closed-ended questionnaire was used to describe their perceptions of the implementation of differentiated instruction. The instrument represented four dimensions: content differentiation, process differentiation, product differentiation, and inclusive learning environment. Content validity was established through expert judgment. Reliability testing yielded a Cronbach’s Α of 0.642, which indicates limited but usable internal consistency for an exploratory study. Interpretation should therefore be cautious. The findings show that differentiated  instruction in the three schools was implemented through systematic planning, varied instructional practices, and continuous evaluation. The qualitative synthesis identified four core components of the proposed model: initial assessment, flexible planning, varied implementation, and continuous evaluation. Quantitative findings further indicate that respondents generally perceived the implementation of differentiated  positively across the four dimensions. This research contributes a contextual model of differentiated  instruction and highlights the need for further research with stronger instruments and broader samples.                                       Keywords: Differentiated instruction, Merdeka  curriculum, Islamic religious education, Secondary school students.

This study examines the innovative development of the Tilawati method in response to Qur’anic reading difficulties among junior high school students. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research was conducted through field observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation at SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Bandung, with SMP ITQAN Islamic School Bandung used as a reference for good practice. The findings indicate that students’ reading difficulties are related not only to technical aspects, such as tajwid, makhraj, fashohah, rhythm, and fluency, but also to learning motivation, instructional time, teacher competence, and the availability of supporting media. The study identifies four main directions for developing the Tilawati method: strengthening teacher competence, grouping students according to reading ability, integrating varied and digital learning media, and building a Qur’anic culture within the school environment. The scientific contribution of this study lies in formulating a contextual development framework for the Tilawati method at the junior high school level, which combines classical talaqqi-based learning with adaptive, differentiated, and media-supported instructional strategies. The study concludes that the Tilawati method has the potential to support more effective Qur’anic learning when implemented consistently and aligned with students’ needs and institutional support.

The method in this research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type which aims to obtain an in-depth, systematic, and factual picture regarding the application of collaborative and cooperative learning innovations in PAI subjects at MDT Ula Al-Ikhlas Madura. Data was collected through observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and documentation of Islamic Education teachers and students at MDT Ula Al-Ikhlas Madura. Data analysis is carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of collaborative and cooperative learning models can create an active, interactive learning environment among students. This learning innovation encourages students to think critically, work collaboratively in groups, and better understand Islamic values through direct learning experiences. The increase in students' understanding can be seen from their involvement in discussions, their ability to explain the concepts of Islamic teachings, and changes in behavior in daily worship practices.
