Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of LKPD through validity activities. The research method used is descriptive quantitative research. The data was collected by providing an instrument in the form of LKPD, where the data in this study was in the form of data from the validation results of LKPD. The results of research on the validity of LKPD are based Problem Based Learning it can be seen that the average value of the total validation is 84.38% with a very good category. LKPD Physics based Problem Based Learning in class X Newton's Law material can be said to be valid and can be used as one of the teaching materials to support the physics learning process in accordance with the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

Language validation aims to determine the accuracy of the use of language in the module. It is intended that the information to be conveyed by the module can be conveyed clearly to the reader. This research was conducted to determine the language validity of the PBL (Problem Based Learning) physics module on vector material to find out how appropriate it was for X grade students in high school. The method used in this research was a qualitative descriptive research method. By using a research procedure that was calculating the validation results obtained, then providing the criteria and categories of the percentage of the results of the assessment of the validity value. From the results of this study, the overall value of language validation was obtained, namely 81.25% with a very decent category.

Physics learning is learning that influences students' thinking skills so that students can be skilled in the cognitive and psychomotor fields and support students to think systematically, creatively, and objectively. But in fact, the implementation of learning that occurs is not contextual because the way teachers teach in class is still boring and less varied, so student involvement in the learning process in class becomes less active, both asking and answering questions. This study aims to determine the effect of using a problem-based learning model accompanied by a QuizWhizzer game on vocational students' critical thinking skills and physics learning outcomes in Jember Regency. This study used a quantitative approach, specifically a true experimental design of a posttest-only control group. The study population consisted of class X students at SMK Negeri 1 Jember, with the sample comprising two classes selected from all classes at SMK Negeri 1 Jember. Data analysis of students' critical thinking skills using the Mann-Whitney U Test resulted in a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.038 < 0.05, which leads to the rejection of H0 and acceptance of Ha. Data analysis of students' physics learning outcomes using the Mann-Whitney U Test and hypothesis testing results resulted in a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.023 < 0.05, which leads to the rejection of H0 and acceptance of Ha. These findings indicate a significant effect of applying a problem-based learning model assisted by QuizWhizzer on students' critical thinking skills and physics learning outcomes, especially on energy and its changes. With this research, teachers can design more effective learning models to support critical thinking skills and optimal student learning outcomes in physics learning accompanied by learning media by analysing student needs, selecting learning models, developing learning media, planning learning activities, and implementing them.

Abstract

This research purpose was to examine the effect of applying the guided inquiry learning model accompanied by a virtual laboratory on the results and motivation of studying physics in high school students. The chosen physics material is static fluid. The type of research used is a true experiment with the Posttest Only Control Group design. The population of this study was students of class XI MIPA at one of the public high schools in Mojokerto Regency. The sample was selected by cluster random sampling technique and assigned to class XI MIPA 1 as the control class and class XI MIPA 4 as the experimental class. The treatment was carried out three times and the next meeting was used for the post-test and questionnaire filling. Data on learning outcomes were obtained from post-test scores which were analyzed using the independent sample t-test technique, while motivational data were obtained from filling out questionnaires which were analyzed using the independent sample t-test technique. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that there is an effect of applying the guided inquiry learning model accompanied by a virtual laboratory on the results and motivation of studying physics in high school students. The results of this research are expected to be useful for teachers who experience problems in learning physics, especially in terms of the need for practical implementation.

Abstract

LKPD atau Lembar Kinerja Peserta Didik merupakan media yang umum digunakan oelh guru untuk menyampaikan materi pelajaran. Salah satu bentuk inovasi LKPD atau lembar kinerja peserta didik adalah LKPD berbasis virtual laboratorium. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran LKPD berbasis virtual laboratorium terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa SMA materi optik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara melakukan ekperimen dengan memanfaatkan LKPD berbasis virtual laboratorium dengan materi optik. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA tahun ajaran 2021/2022 dengan pemilihan kelas dilakukan secara acak dengan 30 siswa di kelas eksperimen dan 30 siswa di kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes pilihan ganda berjumlah 15 soal. Analisis data diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial menggunakan IBM SPSS Statistics 23. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,028 (< 0,05), sehingga dapat disimpulan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran LKPD berbasis virtual laboratorium pada materi optik efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI di SMA NURIS Jember tahun ajaran 2021/2022.

Abstract

Kesalahpahaman peserta didik tentang konsep gerak jatuh bebas masih sering terjadi . Penilitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui miskonsepsi siswa di SMAN 1 Bangorejo pada materi gerak jatuh bebas. Metode yang digunakan yaitu CRI (Certaity of Response Index). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan 20 soal tes pilihan ganda pada peserta didik  yang dilengkapi dengan indeks keyakinan (CRI). Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan presentase rerata responden dalam Kategori tidak tahu konsep sebesar 31,2069 %, kategori miskonsepsi sebesar 40,34483 % dan kategori menguasai konsep sebesar 28,44828 %. Miskonsepsi tertinggi pada pengaruh massa terhadap GJB sebesar  86,2069 %. Mereka menganggap massa benda berpengaruh terhadap GJB, padahal yang berpengaruh adalah hambatan udara karena ketika 2 benda yang berbeda massanya ketika dijatuhkan dalam ruang vakum tanpa hambatan udara keduanya jatuh secara bersamaan.

Abstract

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media video pembelajaran berbasis multirepresentasi dalam peningkatan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik kelas X MIPA SMA Islam Al-Hidayah Mangli. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X MIPA pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2021/2022 dengan jumlah peserta didik 30 orang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan 3 kali pertemuan dan pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan pre test dan post test. Data tes hasil belajar dianalisis secara kuantitatif menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan inferensial dengan bantuan aplikasi IBM SPSS Statistics 23. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar antara pre test dan post test, dimana hasil belajar kelas kontrol (pre test) 66,77 dan kelas eksperimen (post test) 73,83. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media video pembelajaran berbasis multirepresentasi efektif dalam peningkatan hasil belajar fisika pada peserta didik kelas X SMA Islam Al-Hidayah Mangli.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze aspects of the validity of digital media containing local wisdom of industrial agriculture that has been developed. The research method used is the R and D (Research and Development) research method with the Four-D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). At the 4D development stage, in the Develop section, media development and validation activities were carried out by three media and material experts. The data collection technique uses a validation questionnaire. Data analysis technique using descriptive analysis. The validation results for each aspect, namely construct validation of 89.08%, content validation of 90%, Language validation of 86.67%, these three aspects are in the very good category. The results of the overall validation show that digital media based on local wisdom of industrial agriculture achieves a validity score of 88.58% which is in the very good category and is suitable for use. Thus, it can be concluded that digital media containing local wisdom of industrial agriculture can then be used in the process of learning physics in basic physics 1 courses as an alternative solution to innovative learning resources based on local wisdom

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of student interest and motivation to learn on physics learning outcomes on the concept of Newton's Law. Low interest and motivation to learn is one of the causes of students' difficulty achieving optimal learning outcomes in physics, especially in abstract material such as Newton's Law. The research used a quantitative approach with descriptive statistical methods. Data were obtained through a Likert scale-based questionnaire to measure interest and motivation to learn and a multiple-choice test to assess learning outcomes. Analyses were conducted using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS. The results showed that interest and motivation to learn significantly influenced student learning outcomes, with a contribution of 73% and a positive relationship. This result confirms the importance of lecturers in designing learning strategies that can increase student interest and motivation to support the success of physics learning, especially in Newton's Law material.
