Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of cake sales with a consignment sales mechanism at Al-Khidmah Nurzaman Store in Cendrawasih Market Metro Lampung. The research used a field study method with interview data collection techniques. The results showed that the level of cake sales with the consignment system was higher than regular sales. The consignment sales rate grew 56% while regular sales were only 44%. The commission sharing system between cake owners (pengamanat) and shop owners (commissioners) is adjusted based on the agreement, which is 10-20% of the selling price per product. The consignment system is effective for both parties because the commissioner does not need additional capital and the pengamanat can expand marketing, although the pengamanat must apply specific criteria to avoid losses due to damage or unsold products.

Abstract

Pancasila education, as one of the core subjects at the primary and secondary education levels, plays a crucial role in shaping the character and personality of students. However, it is often observed that students are less active and enthusiastic in participating in Pancasila education. This phenomenon can be linked to the lack of attractiveness in the teaching methods, making students less interested in active participation. The predominantly used conventional teaching models tend to be monotonous and less engaging, thus failing to stimulate students' interest and activeness. This research aims to investigate the implementation of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) teaching model in enhancing student activeness in Pancasila education. The TSTS teaching method emphasizes collaboration, idea exchange, and active student involvement in the learning process. The research methodology employed is a qualitative descriptive approach, focusing on a deep understanding of students' behaviors, interactions, and experiences in the learning process. Data analysis is conducted using an inductive approach to identify patterns, findings, and interpretations emerging from the collected data. The results of this research contribute to the development of a teaching model that can increase student participation and engagement in Pancasila education. The TSTS model can be considered an effective alternative to creating a dynamic learning environment that stimulates students' understanding of Pancasila values. This research provides a foundation for improving teaching strategies to advance citizenship education at the Junior High School level. It contributes to a better understanding of the reality of Pancasila education at the Junior High School level, offering a basis for improving teaching strategies and sparking discussions for the development of a more relevant curriculum. The implications of this research can also assist relevant stakeholders in enhancing the quality of citizenship education in schools.

Abstract

With children's interest in reading still low, the government launched the School Literacy Movement (GLS). This program is expected to foster interest in reading in students as well as to build a literacy climate in schools. However, not all schools have been able to implement GLS in accordance with the guidelines provided. The problems include inadequate facilities and infrastructure, limited reading materials, limited reading time. The purpose of this community service is to develop reading literacy in students at UPT Elementary School in launching GLS through books and reading trees provided by the PKM team to each partner school. Activities in assisting the making of this class reading corner are carried out by the team and class teachers at the State Elementary School, starting from preparing the class that will later be made a class reading corner, the materials needed in making the reading corner, the books to be donated, and the teacher's role in mentoring later. The team will also donate basic education level books and folklore books to fulfill the bookshelves that will be made in the reading corner later. The end result of this activity is expected that the reading corner that has been made will be emulated by teachers in other classes and the donated books will be useful for teachers and students and schools.

Abstract

The Importance of Education as a strategy to shape a quality generation through the enhancement of awareness and legal compliance to create a safe and prosperous society. The main focus of this research is to explore qualitative descriptive education methods as an effective analytical tool in understanding and describing the role of education in shaping individuals who are morally and legally responsible. The method used in this writing is a qualitative descriptive approach through a review of literature sources such as journals and relevant articles. Research findings indicate that the integration of awareness and legal compliance in education can have a positive impact on the moral attitudes and behavior of participants. The crucial role of educators in creating a supportive learning environment that inspires the development of character is also a major highlight in this article. The article details the importance of education in awareness and legal compliance, the Model of Education in Awareness and Legal Compliance, and the goals and implementation of legal awareness education. This article serves as a guide for education practitioners, policymakers, and researchers to better understand effective ways to shape a quality generation through holistic and sustainable educational efforts

Abstract

This Community Service aims to introduce English to toddlers at Fina Sembiring Clinic, Medan Polonia District, through a play-based learning approach in 2024. The program utilizes interactive teaching methods that combine educational games, children's songs, and picture stories to create a fun and effective learning environment for the children. By using this strategy, it is expected that children can develop basic English skills, such as vocabulary, pronunciation, and basic comprehension through age-appropriate activities. Active parental participation is also a focus of this program, providing guidelines and brief training to help them continue practicing English at home. The effectiveness of the program is evaluated through direct observation, interviews with parents, and language development tests specifically designed for toddlers. The results of this activity show that the play-based learning approach can increase children's interest and basic English skills. Moreover, active parental involvement proves crucial in supporting the success of this program. In conclusion, this approach not only improves toddlers' English skills but also creates a positive bond between children and parents in the learning process.

Abstract

The ever-changing and complex dynamics of societal life give rise to various forms of social issues. One of the common consequences is the loss of empathy, leading individuals to harm or even take the lives of others. This highlights the need to foster empathy in a society constantly facing diverse challenges. One way to achieve this is through civic engagement in social programs implemented by social organizations. Such involvement can reveal various forms of empathetic behavior expressed by the community during the implementation of these programs. This study aims to provide an overview of the forms of empathy behavior reflected in the community through the social program of the Gerak Bareng organization. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The results showed that the forms of empathic behavior that are manifested in the community through citizen involvement in Gerak Bareng's social programs include compassion, giving and sharing, and cooperation. The role of Gerak Bareng in fostering community empathy is demonstrated through civic engagement in Gerak Bareng's social programs with the formation of empathetic behaviors within the community such as compassion, mutual giving, sharing, and collaboration.

Abstract

Character education has become an important concern in developing the education system in Indonesia over the past decade. To face complex challenges in an ever-evolving society, strengthening character education is important in shaping individuals with integrity, ethics and good personality. Therefore, this study aims to analyse and evaluate the innovation of the character education strengthening program model implemented in the curriculum in Indonesia. The approach of this research used descriptive qualitative with literature study method to collect information from various reliable sources such as scientific journals, books, and official publications. The results of this analysis and evaluation discuss various innovations in the character education strengthening model implemented in Indonesia during this period, including the approaches, strategies, and methods used. The findings of this research are. Firstly, various innovative models of strengthening character education have been implemented in Indonesia, including value-based learning approaches, character education through extracurricular activities, and the integration of character education in all subjects. Secondly, implementing these innovations has a positive impact on shaping students' character, such as increasing positive attitudes, social care, ethics, and integrity. However, there are also challenges including the lack of understanding and full involvement of all education stakeholders. The study concludes that the integration of character education should be an integral part of the curriculum at all levels of education. This research contributes to the development of character education in Indonesia by presenting innovative models of strengthening character education that have been implemented and highlighting the challenges that need to be overcome

Abstract

SD Yadika 1 merupakan salah satu sekolah yang memberikan pelayanan pendidikan dasar bagi masyarakat. Banyak gurunya mengalami kendala untuk melaksanakan pendidikan secara jarak jauh daring menggunakan teknologi informasi, khususnya layanan Google. Para guru belum fasih dan belum berani menggunakan layanan Google Classroom dan Google Form. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, maka Penulis menjalin kerja sama dengan SD Yadika 1 sebagai mitra masyarakat untuk melaksanakan pelatihan aplikasi Google Classroom dan Google form bagi pendidik SD Yadika 1 Jakarta. Kegiatan ini merupakan wujud dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) sebagai penunjang tridarma dosen pada perguruan tinggi. Pelatihan ini memberikan pemahaman, dan keterampilan tepat guna, yang membantu para guru untuk melaksanakan proses kegiatan belajar mengajar secara daring dengan para peserta didik. Berdasarkan kuesioner, 95% peserta menyatakan materi yang disampaikan sesuai dengan kebutuhan, dan materi yang disampaikan dianggap baik oleh 94% peserta. Hasil jangka panjang pelatihan ini adalah meningkatnya pemahaman dan keterampilan para guru untuk memanfaatkan fitur-fitur Google Classroom dan Google Form, yang langsung diterapkan oleh para guru pada proses belajar mengajar daring (berdasarkan pengamatan 1 bulan pasca pelatihan). Pelatihan ini telah menjadi kontribusi yang bermanfaat untuk peningkatan kualitas SDM bagi pendidik di SD Yadika 1 Jakarta khususnya, dan kualitas pembelajaran daring bagi peserta didik secara umum.

Abstract

Pada kondisi pandemi, pelaksanaan pembelajaran untuk siswa sekolah silih berganti antara tatap muka langsung dan pembelajaran jarak jauh. Melaksanakan pendidikan jarak jauh memberikan tantangan lebih bagi tenaga pendidik. Tenaga pendidik dituntut untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dan literasi digital agar dapat melaksanakan proses belajar mengajar yang lebih efektif. SD Yadika 1 merupakan sekolah yang memberikan layanan pendidikan dasar bagi masyarakat. Sekolah ini memiliki program untuk meningkatkan kualitas kompetensi tenaga pendidik secara berkesinambungan. Bertepatan program pengabdian masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk menyebarluaskan pemanfaatan keilmuan praktis di masyarakat, maka kegiatan pelatihan ini dilaksanakan. Tema pelatihan Quizizz dipilih berdasarkan pertimbangan bahwa layanan ini dapat dimanfaatkan baik pada Pertemuan Tatap Muka (PTM) maupun pada sesi Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ). Target dari pelatihan ini adalah meningkatkan kompetensi tenaga pendidik untuk memahami, mengoperasi, dan memanfaatkan layanan Quizizz dalam proses belajar mengajar. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui tahapan yang terstruktur, mulai dari perencanaan pada awal November 2021, pelaksanaan pelatihan pada 27 Januari 2022, hingga pembuatan laporan. Hasil dari pelatihan ini adalah peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap aplikasi Quizizz sebesar 42,3%. Peserta berpendapat bahwa pelaksanaan kegiatan berlangsung baik (31%) atau sangat baik (69%), dan kejelasan penyampaian materi baik (50 %) atau sangat baik (50%).

Abstract

Toko Rage Toys merupakan UMKM yang bergerak dibidang penjualan mainan anak-anak, souvenir, dan aksesoris. Pada kondisi bisnis saat ini media pemasarannya hanya menggunakan banner, media sosial dan whatsapp yang ada pada toko saja, sehingga produk-produk yang dijual tidak menjangkau calon konsumen secara luas. Begitu juga dengan proses transaksi yang dilakukan oleh toko masih terbilang manual. Untuk melakukan pemesanan dan mengetahui detail informasi produk yang dijual, pelanggan harus datang langsung mengunjungi toko. Pengolahan data penjualan toko saat ini masih belum terkomputerisasi yang mengakibatkan terbatasnya peluang pemasaran dan proses transaksi. Belum terdapatnya media pemasaran secara online menyebabkan informasi tentang keberadaan toko Rage Toys tidak diketahui banyak orang. Oleh sebab itu, toko Rage Toys membutuhkan sarana promosi atau pemasaran secara online seperti E-Commerce, tujuannya untuk mendukung layanan penjualan agar dapat melakukan proses transaksi secara online, kapan saja dan dimana saja, memperluas jangkauan pemasaran, serta untuk mengetahui detail informasi laporan-laporan yang diperlukan secara akurat. Dalam penelitian ini metode yang digunakan oleh penulis yaitu pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan studi literatur. Sedangkan analisis model pengembangan bisnis menggunakan metode Business Model Canvas (BMC), analisis masalah menggunakan model Fishbone Diagram, perancangan sistem E-Commerce menggunakan pendekatan UML dan membuat model UI/UX, implementasi E-Commerce menggunakan Content Management System (CMS), serta strategi Search Engine Optimization (SEO) dan pemasaran menggunakan strategi mix marketing 4P. Hasil yang didapat adalah membuat model E-Commerce berbasis web. Dengan dibuatnya fitur-fitur pada website E-Commerce dapat menyelesaikan masalah yang ada pada toko Rage Toys, serta pengujian performa website menggunakan Google Search Console dan pengujian SEO yang dilakukan muncul di halaman pencarian Google. Dengan demikian jangkauan pemasaran dapat dilakukan secara luas dan akses informasi bagi calon konsumen dapat secara mudah diperoleh, serta dapat mendukung layanan penjualan pada toko Rage Toys.
