Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara melalui metode bercerita dengan media buku cerita bergambar pada anak kelompok A1 di TK Al-Anhar Karawang. Kegiatan mendongeng dengan menggunakan buku cerita bergambar yang menarik dapat memotivasi minat anak dalam berbicara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan model Kemmis & Mc Taggart. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 19 anak kelompok A1 TK Al-Anhar Karawang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dan wawancara. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam observasi berupa lembar penilaian, dan pedoman wawancara dengan guru untuk mengetahui kondisi dan permasalahan yang dihadapi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif. Indikator keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini sudah mencapai 80%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berbicara anak meningkat setelah dilakukan tindakan. Hasil observasi rata-rata kemampuan berbicara anak pada pra tindakan dari 48,46% menjadi 62,93% pada siklus I, dan mencapai 91,99% pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku cerita bergambar dinyatakan memenuhi standar efektifitas dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara anak usia 4-5 tahun.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pendidikan karakter menurut kacamata Islam. Terdapat beragam keunikan yang menjadikan pendidikan karakter menurut perspektif islm berbeda dengan konsep barat. Hal-hal yang membedakan tersebut terlihat dari adanya penegasan untuk menjalankan pedoman-pedoman agama, aturan dan hukum yang menguatkan karakter, persepsi yang berbeda mengenai realitas, ketidaksetujuan akan teori moralitas otonom dari Imanuel Kant, serta memfokuskan tujuan utama seseorang adalah balasan di hari kiamat untuk mendorong seseorang bertindak sesuai moral. Pendidikan  karakter  dalam  hakikatnya  adalah perjalanan nilai-nilai hidup yang bertransformasi dan berkembang sempurna dalam diri  seseorang  yang kemudian melekat dn tercermin dalam  perbuatan  orang itu. Dasar pembentukan karakter itu adalah nilai baik atau buruk. Dalam pandangan Islam, pendidikan karakter sudah lama diterapkan semenjak Islam pertama kali dibawa di dunia bersamaan saat diangkatnya Nabi Muhammad SAW sebagai rasulullah untuk membenahi atau  dalam istilah qur’an menyempurnakan akhlak (karakter) manusia. Adapun karakter utama Nabi Muhammad SAW yang terkenal luas dan patut untuk dijadikan teladan antara lain Shiddiq, Amanah, Tabligh dan Fathanah.Kata Kunci: Pendidikan, Pendidikan Karakter, Islam

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to: 1) ascertain the level of YouTube Kids viewing in the Karawang Barat district; 2) ascertain the evolution of the speech abilities of children aged 5 to 6; and 3) ascertain the impact of YouTube Kids viewing intensity on the speaking abilities of children aged 5 to 6 in the Karawang Barat districts. Ex Post Facto was the qualitative method employed in the study, and 237 respondents were chosen by random sample procedures. We use an online tool to gather data. Analysis of research data: SPSS Version 23.0 for Windows is used in this study to do basic linear regression analysis. Based on the study's findings, it was determined that children in the Karawang Barat district watch YouTube Kids at a medium intensity, scoring a 57% presentation score, and that their speaking abilities develop at a preset rate of 59.9%, which is in line with expectations. A linear regression test yields a significance result (Sig) of 0.001<0.05, indicating a significant relationship (R square score of 4.2% ) between the amount of time children aged 5–6 watch YouTube Kids (X) and their capacity to speak.

Abstract

Through the use of educational play media in the form of number puzzles, the aim of this research is to improve the ability of children aged 4 to 5 years at TK Harapan Indonesia II Bekasi in recognizing number symbols. The ability to recognize number symbols is a fundamental skill that is crucial for cognitive development in early childhood. As one of the educational play tools, the fruit number puzzle is expected to be an effective medium for teaching children about number shapes in a fun and interactive way. The research employed the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, conducted in two cycles. The study involved 10 children aged 4 to 5 years from TK Harapan Indonesia II Bekasi, with each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and ending with reflection. Data were collected through direct observation during learning activities, pre- and post-tests to measure the ability to recognize number symbols, and teacher interviews to gather feedback on the learning process. The research results showed a significant improvement in the children's ability to recognize number symbols after the use of the fruit number puzzle. In the pre-test, the average recognition ability was 46%, while after the implementation of the fruit number puzzle, the average increased to 86%. The increased attendance and active participation of the children during the learning process demonstrated a rise in their interest and motivation in learning basic mathematics through the use of the fruit number puzzle in activities focused on recognizing number symbols. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the use of the fruit number puzzle as an educational play medium is highly effective in enhancing the understanding of number symbols in children aged 4 to 5 years. The number puzzle not only helps introduce number symbols but also improves fine motor skills and cognitive abilities. This research provides an important contribution to early childhood education approaches.

Abstract

Early childhood education (ECED) in Indonesia is regulated by Law No. 20/2003. This law emphasizes the importance of the education stage for children aged birth to six years. The purpose of this study was to find out how the use of Busy Book media impacts the receptive language skills of four- to five- year-old children at KB Kasih Ibu. Sixteen children from group A were given a pretest-posttest design to measure changes in their language ability after eight learning sessions using Busy Book. The pretest results, with a total score of 593 and an average of 60.43, showed that the receptive language skills of the children in group A had improved. In the hypothesis test using paired samples T-test, the tcount value (19.554) was greater than the ttable value (1.746), and the significance value (0.001) was smaller than 0.05. The results show that Busy Book books have a significant positive effect on the receptive language skills of children aged 4-5 years at KB Kasih Ibu Bekasi. This study concludes that Busy Book books are effective in improving children's receptive language skills at the PAUD stage.

Abstract

The aim of this classroom action research is to help children aged 4 to 5 years in group A Kindergarten Rumah Bunda Islamic Preschool Karawang improve their initial reading skills using illustrated alphabet cards. This research is PTK, which means classroom action research. This research method involves four stages of planning, action, implementation, and reflection. The focus of this research was 11 children in group A Kindergarten Rumah Bunda Islamic Preschool Karawang. Data is collected through observation and documentation. As many as 75% of the 11 children showed an increase in initial reading ability, which is an indicator of success in early childhood. This research was conducted in two cycles; cycle I lasted for 6 meetings, and cycle II lasted for 4 meetings. The results of the study showed an increase in early reading abilities in children aged 4 to 5 years using picture alphabet cards as media. Children at the Rumah Bunda Islamic Preschool Karawang Kindergarten succeeded in improving their reading skills through learning games using this media. The average percentage of reading ability before the action was 19.4%, increased to 89.3% in cycle I, and reached 116.8% in cycle II”.

Abstract

Pembelajaran memiliki metode dan media yang digunakan untuk dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang diharapkan. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini ialah untuk dapat mengetahui kemampuan keaksaraan pada Peserta didik menggunakan kartu kata. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Pengelolaan data melalui analisis dengan teori miles dan huberman yaitu penyajian data, reduksi data, dan kesimpulan. Metode kualitatif ini menarasikan dan mendeskripsikan fenomena yang terjadi dilapangan untuk dituangkan dalam penelitian. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwasannya adanya peningkatan dalam menstimulus kemampuan keaksaraan Peserta didik dengan menggunakan kartu kata. Dalam penggunaan kartu kata ini guru mempersiapkan dengan semaksimal mungkin agar tercipta pembelajaran yang efektif sehingga dapat mencapai hasil pembelajaran yang optimal.
