Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat dengan Judul Penyusunan Rencana Kerja Pemerintah Desa (Rkpdes) Sebagai Input Penyusunan Anggaran Pendapatan Dan Belanja Desa Kolowa, Kecamatan Gu, Kabupaten Buton Tengah. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dilakukan di desa Kolowa Kecamatan Gu, Kabupaten Buton Tengah dan bertujuan agar pemerintah desa dapat menyusun Rencana Kerja Pemerintah Desa (RKPDes) untuk waktu satu tahun sesuai dengan regulasi yang berlaku di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dan pelatihan. Hasil akhir dari kegiatan ini adalah peserta pelatihan memahami proses penyusunan Rencana Kerja Pemerintah Desa (RKPDes) Kolowa Kecamatan Gu Kabupaten Buton Tengah sebagai input penyusunan Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Desa (APBDes) Kolowa Kecamatan Gu Kabupaten Buton Tengah.

Abstract

Urgensi Penelitian ini adalah rendahnya prestasi belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) seringkali disebabkan oleh metode pembelajaran yang cenderung pasif dan kurang menstimulasi pemikiran kritis siswa di sekolah dasar. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan inovasi dalam model pembelajaran yang mampu mendorong keaktifan siswa, memfasilitasi konstruksi pengetahuan secara mandiri, dan meningkatkan hasil belajar secara signifikan. Tujuan dan Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas metode inkuiri terbuka dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar IPS pada siswa sekolah dasar. Jenis pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen murni (true experimental design) menggunakan desain Posttest-Only Control Group Design.Populasi dan Sampel: Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri (SDN) No. 244 Lawo, Kabupaten Soppeng. Sampel penelitian dipilih secara purposive dan terdiri dari dua kelas 5 (V) yang dibagi menjadi: Kelompok Eksperimen: Memperoleh pembelajaran dengan metode inkuiri terbuka dan Kelompok Kontrol: Diajar menggunakan metode konvensional (ceramah dan penugasan). Instrumen Penelitian yaitu Instrumen utama yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data adalah tes prestasi belajar IPS berbentuk pilihan ganda dan/atau uraian yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Dan Instrumen observasi untuk keaktifan siswa dalam penyampaian berbagai argumantasi Hasil Penelitian bahwa Analisis data menggunakan uji-t (t-test) menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara prestasi belajar kedua kelompok (p < 0,05). Siswa dalam kelompok eksperimen menunjukkan prestasi belajar yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Kesimpulan dan Implikasi:Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa metode inkuiri terbuka berkontribusi secara positif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa serta mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mereka dalam memahami materi IPS. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi pengembangan model pembelajaran yang lebih aktif dan berpusat pada siswa di tingkat sekolah dasar. Meskipun demikian, keterbatasan penelitian pada cakupan sampel tunggal sekolah memerlukan penelitian lanjutan dengan cakupan yang lebih luas guna memperkuat bukti empiris temuan ini.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi memberikan peluang bagi pendidik untuk mengembangkan metode pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan menarik. Penggunaan media digital menjadi kebutuhan mendesak untuk meningkatkan pengalaman belajar siswa di Sekolah Dasar (SD). Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru SD dalam merancang dan membuat media pembelajaran interaktif menggunakan PowerPoint. Workshop ini dilaksanakan dengan metode kombinasi teori, praktik langsung, dan diskusi kelompok kepada 25 orang guru SD di Kecamatan Mandai, Kabupaten Maros. Materi yang disampaikan meliputi prinsip desain presentasi yang efektif, penggunaan elemen multimedia interaktif, dan teknik-teknik interaksi seperti kuis dan polling. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa workshop PPT Interaktif ini berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam mendesain dan membuat media pembelajaran digital. Peningkatan kemampuan tersebut mencakup penggunaan elemen multimedia untuk membuat presentasi PowerPoint interaktif pada bidang studi Matematika, Bahasa Indonesia, dan IPAS/IPS/IPA, dengan kemampuan merancang presentasi yang berada dalam kategori baik. Selain itu, tingkat pemahaman dan kepuasan peserta terhadap materi juga sangat tinggi, di mana 52% peserta berada pada kategori Baik dan 48% pada kategori Sangat Baik, serta 0% yang tidak puas. Secara keseluruhan, workshop ini sangat dibutuhkan dan terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan guru untuk menciptakan presentasi yang tidak hanya informatif tetapi juga menarik dan interaktif.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the regulation and implementation of restitution in juvenile criminal offenses and examine it from an economic law perspective. The findings indicate that although restitution is normatively recognized within the Juvenile Criminal Justice System, its regulation remains partial and not comprehensive. This situation results in suboptimal implementation in practice, preventing the full achievement of child protection, victim rights restoration, and restorative justice objectives. Therefore, regulatory strengthening and harmonization are required to ensure effective and equitable application of restitution. From an economic law perspective, restitution serves as an effective and efficient instrument, capable of compensating victims’ losses while reducing the social costs associated with penal sanctions. However, its application still faces constraints due to normative regulatory limitations. Consequently, a more integrated restitution framework is necessary so that economic efficiency aligns with child protection and the realization of restorative justice goals.

Abstract

21st-century education faces complex challenges due to rapid technological developments, globalization, and changing patterns of social interaction, which require character formation based on moral and ethical values. This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic ethics in addressing the dynamics of modern education through a literature study approach. Data were collected from Islamic education textbooks, national and international journal articles, and educational policy documents. The results of the study indicate that Islamic ethical values ​​such as honesty (ṣidq), trustworthiness (amanah), justice (‘adl), responsibility (mas’uliyyah), and moderation (wasathiyah) are highly relevant in shaping the character of intelligent, adaptive, and virtuous students. Islamic ethics provides guidelines for the wise use of digital technology, addressing the impact of globalization, and fostering social awareness and ecological awareness. The holistic integration of ethical values ​​into the curriculum, learning methods, and school culture is crucial to ensure education produces individuals with character and noble morals. This study concludes that Islamic ethics is not merely a normative norm, but also a practical strategy in modern, humanistic, and sustainable education. The implications of this research encourage the implementation of Islamic values-based education integrated with digital literacy, 21st-century skills, and comprehensive student character development.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of character building of students through the school literacy movement at SMP Negeri 1 Sengkang, Wajo Regency. This research is classified as qualitative research with historical, phenomenological, pedagogical, sociological, and psychological approaches. Researchers conducted interviews with teachers, education staff, resource persons, and students at SMP Negeri 1 Sengkang, Wajo Regency, to obtain data in the field. In addition, direct observations are also made on the material and stages of implementing activities. The data obtained from interviews and direct observations were analyzed by qualitative methods to determine the implementation, supporting and inhibiting factors, and efforts to overcome the inhibiting factors. The results showed that the formation of student character through the school literacy movement at SMP Negeri 1 Sengkang, Wajo Regency, was carried out integrally in implementing 15-minute habituation to reading. They responded to reading content through book reading journals, optimizing literacy facilities and a text-rich environment, and selecting reading books. The formation of his character is seen in the habituation of 15 minutes of reading. The optimization of literacy means a text-rich environment that gives birth to a character of curiosity and love to read, responding to the content of readings through book reading journals, and the selection of reading books that give birth to honest characters. The supporting factors are the positive response and good cooperation from school stakeholders, optimization of library services, and the role of parents/guardians through the collaboration of school committees.

Abstract

Educational administration is the backbone of effective school management. In Pangkajene and Kepulauan (Pangkep) Regency, geographical challenges and the availability of human resources often pose obstacles to meeting administrative standards at the elementary school (SD) level. This study aims to analyze the feasibility of educational administration in elementary schools in Pangkep Regency, covering curriculum administration, student affairs, personnel, facilities and infrastructure, and public relations. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with survey techniques. The research subjects included school principals, school administrators, and teachers at 10 sample elementary schools representing mainland and island areas in Pangkep. Data collection was conducted through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies using standard school accreditation instruments. The results of the study show that, in general, the administrative feasibility of education in Pangkep District elementary schools is in the "Sufficiently Feasible" category, with an average achievement rate of 65%. There is a significant disparity between schools in the city center and those in the islands/coastal areas. Specific findings show that: (1) Student affairs and curriculum administration are relatively good; (2) Infrastructure and personnel administration are still weak, especially in relation to data digitization; and (3) The lack of competent administrative staff often results in administrative burdens being shifted to teachers. It can be concluded that administrative management in Pangkep Regency elementary schools still requires systematic improvement, particularly in terms of equal distribution of digital administrative support infrastructure and competency training for school operators.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of restorative justice by law enforcement officers in handling minor theft cases in the jurisdiction of Malinau District Police. The research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation involving police officers and community members. The results show that the application of restorative justice has been carried out through mediation between perpetrators and victims, focusing on recovery rather than punishment. However, its implementation still faces several obstacles, including limited understanding among law enforcement officers, lack of clear technical guidelines, and community perceptions that still emphasize retributive justice. The study concludes that restorative justice can be an effective alternative in resolving minor criminal cases, particularly theft, as it promotes social harmony and reduces prison overcrowding. Strengthening regulations, increasing capacity of law enforcement, and public education are needed to optimize its implementation.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the study of the phenomenon of children dropping out of school at SMA Negeri 2 Muara Badak, Kutai Kartenegara Regency. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The focus of this research is to determine the phenomenon of female students dropping out of school at SMA Negeri 2 Muara Badak and the school's efforts to deal with female students dropping out of school at SMA Negeri 2 Muara Badak. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data display, data presentation and drawing conclusions.The results of this research show that the factors causing children to drop out of school at SMA Negeri 2 Muara Badak are categorized based on internal and external factors. Low internal factors include motivation and lack of understanding of the importance of education, intelligence and learning disorders, as well as lack of discipline regarding time. Meanwhile, external factors are caused by teachers who are angry, fierce and like to curse, and there is a lack of family support to help these children overcome their problems at school.
