Abstract

Mendidik generasi muda untuk cinta kepada Al-Qur’an menjadi tanggung jawab setiap orang tua muslim. Maka dari itu kecintaan pada Al-Qur’an harus ditanamkan pada diri anak sejak dini. Untuk hal tersebut seorang pendidik harus memiliki cara dan metode supaya bisa mewujudkan generasi Qur’ani yang berakhlak mulia. Metode penelitian yang penulis gunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif, yang mana penulis mengidentifikasi masalah melalui wawancara dan observasi. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 5 orang guru, 35 orang siswa. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa untuk mewujudkan generasi yang Sholeh, Hafizh dan berprestasi maka diperlukan seorang guru yang professional. Guru dikatakan professional apabila dapat memenuhi 4 kompetensi yaitu: kompetensi pedagogic, personal, sosial dan professional. Untuk membina akhlak yang mulia ini ada beberapa metode yang bisa dilakukan diantaranya : metode keteladanan, pembiasaan, memberi Nasihat, motivasi dan intimidasi, persuasi dan metode kisah. Untuk menghafal Al-Qur’an metode yang bisa digunakan yaitu : metode wahdah, kitabah, sima’i, gabungan, jama’i.

Abstract

The relationship between Islam and culture was compatible and not antonym. Islam was a dynamic product and a long-term process of giving and receiving in the dynamics and social interaction of its people. The contradiction between the ideal demands of religion and the demands of tradition and the social reality of society was a crucial problem faced by any religion in the world, but adjustments to social reality always occurred. The Islamic community in the Minangkabau border area was a cultural community that had and continued to confirm genuinely and became accommodative openness in resolving the contradictions of adat and Islam which were in principle very apparent in their cultural systems. Through ethnographic research, this article revealed that conflicts and contradiction between the normative concepts of Islam and adat always occurred in societies inhabited by the Minangkabau and Mandailing ethnic groups, especially related to marriage, kinship, inheritance system and communal property ownership. But the process always ran elegantly and attractively through the dialectics and dynamics of the people. Thus, Islam was culturally acculturated with Minangkabau culture and Mandailing culture and formed a distinctive cultural Islamic identity in the border area. Relasi Islam dengan kebudayaan adalah sesuatu yang selaras dan bukan antonim. Islam adalah produk dinamis dan proses dalam jangka panjang, yang saling memberi dan menerima dalam dinamika dan interaksi sosial masyarakatnya. Kontradiksi antara tuntutan ideal agama dan tuntutan tradisi serta realitas sosial masyarakat merupakan persoalan krusial yang dihadapi agama apapun di dunia, namun penyesuaian realitas sosial selalu terjadi. Masyarakat Islam di daerah perbatasan Minangkabau adalah komunitas budaya yang telah dan terus melakukan konfirmitas secara genuine serta akomodatif terbuka dalam menyelesaikan kontradiksi adat dan Islam yang secara prinsip sangat kentara dalam sistem budaya mereka. Melalui penelitian etnografi, artikel ini mengungkap bahwa konflik dan pertentangan antara konsep normatif Islam dengan adat selalu terjadi dalam masyarakat yang dihuni oleh etnik Minangkabau dan etnik Mandailing, terutama masalah perkawinan, kekerabatan, sistem kewarisan dan kepemilikan harta komunal. Namun proses itu selalu berjalan secara elegan dan atraktif melalui dialektika dan dinamika masyarakatnya. Sehingga, Islam secara kultur berakulturasi dengan budaya Minangkabau dan budaya Mandailing dan membentuk identitas Islam kultur yang khas di daerah perbatasan.

Abstract

This research aims to foster research from an early age by developing the Research Based Flipped Classroom (RBFC) Learning model at Islamic High School. The method used was Research and Development (RnD) to produce specific products and test the effectiveness of these products by adapting the McKenny Model as a stage consisting of preliminary research, prototyping phase, and assessment stage. Through preliminary studies in the form of content analysis and literature studies, the activities carried out are to analyze the objectives within the limitations of the material developed, design learning, and test the validity, effectiveness and practicality of the designed model. The results of this study 1). The development of the Research-Based Flipped Classroom (RBFC) learning model has been proven to significantly improve student learning outcomes at MA Sjech Ibrahim-Koto Tuo- Pasaman; 2). This Research-Based Flipped Classroom (RBFC) learning model can be declared valid after being validated by the validator; and 3). There is a practical level of practical application of the Research-Based Flipped Classroom (RBFC) Learning model, with evidence of its development and increasing student creativity in learning. Thus, applying the Research-Based Flipped Classroom (RBFC) learning model can develop research literacy early and be an alternative in selecting learning models used in Madrasah Aliyah.

Abstract

Penelitian skripsi ini di latar belakangi oleh adanya sebagian lanjut usia di Jorong Asampulau masih kurang dalam memahami nilai-nilai keagamaan. Ini berdampak pada rendahnya tingkat religiusitas lansia yang terlihat dalam kurangnya partisipasi mereka dalam kegiatan keagamaan, lemahnya pengamalan ajaran agama dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran tuangku dalam pembinaan religiusitas lansia dan bentuk-bentuk baminggu dalam pembinaan religiusitas lansia di Jorong Asampulau. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif, informan dalam penelitian terdiri dari informan kunci tiga orang Tuangku, informan pendukung empat orang lansia, dan informan pendukung satu orang pengurus Surau Banda Gadang dan sekretaris wali nagari. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, metode analisis data dilakukan dengan redukdi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan. Sedangkan teknik keabsahan data dengan perpanjangan pengamatan, meningkatkan kecermatan, dan triangulasi sumber sumber, teknik dan waktu. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tuangku memiliki peran dalam pembinaan religiusitas lansia di Jorong Asampulau diatara perannya yaitu sebagai memimpin sholat lima waktu, sebagai guru dan pemimpin dalam kegiatan majelis taklim. Selain itu tuangku juga berperan sebagai pembina dalam ibadah bagi masyarakat lansia. Dan bentuk-bentuk baminggu yang dilakukan di Jorong Asampulau yaitu; membaca ayat suci Al-Qur’an, bai’at, ceramah rutin, pergi berziarah ke makam Syekh atau guru, dan mengikuti sumbayang ampek puluah.

Abstract

Penelitian skripsi ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya perilaku menyimpang berupa mesum dan balap liar di GOR Dharmasraya. Faktor penyebab terjadinya perilaku menyimpang di GOR tersebut karena bangunan yang ada di GOR kurang memadai serta lemahnya kontrol sosial dari tokoh adat dan tokoh agama. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan GOR sebagai ruang publik, bentuk-bentuk kontrol sosial tokoh adat dan tokoh agama. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari informan kunci yaitu 2 (dua) tokoh adat dan 3 (tiga) tokoh agama. Sedangkan informan pendukung yaitu 4 (empat) yang terdiri dari tiga pedagang kaki lima dan Wali Nagari Koto Padang. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan, teknik keabsahan data dengan perpanjangan pengamatan, meningkatkan kecermatan dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya kontrol sosial dari tokoh adat dan agama yaitu kontrol sosial preventif dan represif. Kontrol sosial preventif yaitu tokoh adat membuat aturan di GOR sedangkan tokoh agama mebuat kegiatan keagamaan di masjid seperti tahlinan, pengajian rutin dan pembentukkan remaja masjid. Sedangkan kontrol sosial represif tokoh adat dan agama memberikan sanksi berupa sanksi ekonomi kepada pelaku yang melanggar aturan yang sudah dibuat.

Abstract

Character-based education needs to be developed in the world of education in Indonesia as an effort to achieve national education goals, namely to produce citizens who have competence not only in the cognitive domain but also in the affective and psychomotor domains. The research method used is a qualitative research method. The location of the research is at SMAN 19 Merangin. The subjects in this study were 4 teachers at SMA Negeri 19 Merangin and supporting informants consisted of the principal, vice principal for curriculum and students and guardians. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data used was the data triangulation technique. Data analysis techniques include four things, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of the study showed that: 1) Character education at SMA Negeri 19 Merangin emphasizes the development of five values, namely: religious, honest, caring for the environment, nationalism, creative and innovative. 2) Character education at SMA Negeri 19 Merangin is not a separate subject but is integrated into all existing subjects, the form of integration of character education can be seen from the syllabus and RPP developed by teachers at SMA Negeri 19 Merangin, as well as in the methods, media and evaluation techniques used by teachers at SMA Negeri 19 Merangin. 3) Obstacles in the implementation of character education in SMA Negeri 19 Merangin are the limited knowledge of some teachers about character education, heterogeneous students make it difficult for the school to determine the character values that must be developed, in addition, the absence of role models shown by officials is also an obstacle in itself in efforts to develop character education.

Abstract

Learning is the most significant activity in education. Through learning activities, the goals of education are achieved. Students’ success in learning mostly depends on their mastery to learn independently and on how they manage their study. The research aims to develop learning model at Madrasah Tsanawiyah, to make the learning process triggers students to be more creative and study better. The method used in the research refers to the nature of Research and Development. The steps of the study are preliminary study, development, and product test. The study found that the development of a jurisprudential inquiry-based learning model for learning Fiqh helps students to improve their learning outcomes. The model has significantly proven effective to support students’ behavior change, thus their achievement increases.

Abstract

The current study aimed at 1) developing a portfolio-based learning model at Madrasah Tsanawiyah, and 2) testing the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the developed learning model. The design of the study was Research and Development (RD) using a 4-D model (defines, design, develop, and disseminate). Teachers’ books, students’ workbooks, a learning model, and validity, reliability, and practicality test were designed to support the implementation of the learning model to the teaching and learning process in the classroom. The qualitative data were collected through observation, interviews, and field notes, while the quantitative data were obtained from test and questionnaires. The data then were used to develop a final portfolio-based learning model. The findings revealed that 1) the learning instruments of portfolio-based learning model such as teachers’ book, students’ workbook, the learning manual could be adopted to implement the model; 2) the learning model was valid, practical and effective. The learning model triggered students’ engagement to study academic writing. It is concluded that the development of a portfolio-based learning model motivated students to study academic writing. Therefore, using a portfolio-based learning model was recommended to discuss further in different research.

Abstract

The diversity of Indonesia is a national asset which has long been considered by the founders of this nation.  It is thought that being diversity is not a barrier to realize the unity of the Republic of Indonesia.  However, the current state of our nation building indicates that such a spirit has declined as conflicts among the tribes lead to unlawful acts which raise the issues of tribes, tradition or race, and religion.  Education as a tool to resolve problems either as a state or a nation.  As a multicultural country, Indonesia is striving to horizontal conflict which may break the unity.  Multicultural education is, therefore, expected to be able to resolve the national conflicts.Copyright © 2013 by Al-Ta'lim All right reservedDOI: 10.15548/jt.v20i3.42

Abstract

Many learning institutions and organizations are currently faced with the acute burden of trying to forecast the academic performance of their students. This paper reflects the application of machine learning tools to discuss the potential and performance of students in Islamic Studies. The framework suggested in this paper, will start with the acquisition of the historical data of the students in the input dataset. First, the forward selection wrapper method is used to select the most meaningful features thus eliminating the redundant qualities in the set of student data. Three types of classifiers are then used to create a classification model based on fuzzy support vector machines (SVM), K-nearest neighbors (K-NN), and Naive Bayes. In such a methodological approach, academic performance is predicted and results measured according to certain criteria. According to results of the experiment, it is noted that feature selection-fuzzy support vector machine (FS-fuzzy SVM) has an excellent accuracy of 99.9% with a sensitivity of 98.50% and a specificity of 98.50% and it is therefore seen to be more effective in predicting the academic performance of students in Islamic Studies.
