Abstract

This research is motivated by boredom in the learning atmosphere experienced by students so that it becomes a problem that comes suddenly unexpectedly and is desired in the learning process, so that it becomes something that hinders the goal of achieving education in Indonesia. The boredom of learning causes students to not be able to capture and take the essence of the lessons taught by teachers at SMP Negeri 3 Tebing Tinggi, Selatpanjang City. This study aims to determine what strategies are used by teachers and what factors influence the strategies of Islamic religious education teachers in minimizing learning saturation at SMP Negeri 3 Tebing Tinggi, Selatpanjang City. This type of research is field research, namely research with a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were educators and class VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Tebing Tinggi, Selatpanjang City, the object of this research is the factors that influence learning saturation and teacher strategies to minimize boredom in the learning atmosphere at SMP Negeri 3 Tebing Tinggi, Selatpanjang City. Data collection techniques in this study are interviews, observation and documentation. For data analysis, the writer uses qualitative analysis by describing actual events in the form of sentences and then drawing conclusions. Based on the research, it was stated that the teacher's strategy was to minimize boredom in the learning atmosphere of Islamic religious education at SMPN 3 Tebing Tinggi, Selatpanjang City using various strategies including, Approaching students, Applying Varied Learning Methods, Ice Breaking and Entering funny things during learning. , Creating a conducive and fun environment as well as giving gifts and motivation to students. The causes of student saturation are the learning environment does not provide support, perfunctory learning strategies, are often given excessive exercises and memorization assignments and the way teachers teach does not vary. Islamic religious education teachers at SMP Negeri 3 Tebing Tinggi, Selatpanjang City, have been very good at minimizing learning saturation, both in terms of strategies and supporting factors in minimizing learning boredom.  Keywords: Teacher Strategy, Saturation, Learning Atmosphere, Islamic Religious Education.

Abstract

This research is motivated in the teaching and learning process, the teacher uses the lecture method, although it is rarely applied by the teacher in the teaching and learning process, it's just that the teacher is more often in making summaries and giving assignments to students. The teacher has made efforts or methods in the learning process even though not all of them have been implemented by the teacher, the goal is that students are motivated in learning, but in fact there are still some things that researchers found, it can be seen from the lack of student interest in learning fiqh, students do not do the tasks given by the teacher , and students pay less attention when the teacher explains the material when learning takes place, some talk to their classmates, or do other things that can interfere with learning concentration. Therefore, to achieve success they need the spirit and motivation of a teacher. As for the author's goal in this study is to determine the efforts of teachers in increasing student motivation in learning Fiqh Class VII. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research, which is a method that describes the situation that occurs in the field systematically. Sources of data in this study were teachers who taught Fiqh in class VII as key informants, while the supporting informants in this study were class VII students of MTsN 3 Agam Balingka. To collect data, the authors conducted observations, interviews and documentation, as well as to measure the validity of the data using something else by comparing the data obtained from the observation data and the results of interviews with the research object. From the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the teacher's efforts in increasing student learning motivation in class VII Fiqh learning at MTsN 3 Agam Balingka are less than optimal due to the teacher's efforts to increase students' motivation in learning Fiqh Class VII is only by giving numbers, giving tests, know learning outcomes, and praise. While the teacher has not implemented the provision of prizes, competition or competition, ego-involvement and punishment.  Keywords: Comparison, learning outcomes, students, online games.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the SKI learning media which still requires an upgrade in attracting interest in learning. In the learning activities of Islamic Cultural History at MTI Tarusan, they carry out learning activities using a Mind Map where students are asked to record one sheet of paper. The purpose of this study was to find out the technique of note-taking with a Mind Map in Islamic Cultural History class VIII at MTI Tarusan Kamang. The type of research used is qualitative with research results in the form of descriptions with the meaning of describing the results of the research in the form of paragraphs, then data collection techniques using observations and interviews and documentation. Informants in this study were SKI teachers, class VIII students, and school principals. The results showed that; Taking notes with a Mind Map on Islamic Cultural History learning in class VIII, the Mind Map is considered successful because it can be seen from the results of students' work in noting that Mind Maps almost entirely meet the standard criteria in making Mind Maps, besides that it is very helpful for teachers in providing understanding of the material to students so that students understand the material. And can improve students' ability to remember material and public speaking skills, as well as students' creativity. Abstract

Based on the observations made by the researchers, it is known that the strategy of Islamic religious education teachers in increasing the learning motivation of class X TM students at SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Raya, Agam Regency. The purpose of this study was to find out how the teacher's strategy in increasing the learning motivation of class X TM 1 students at SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Raya, Agam Regency. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the key informants are Islamic religious education teachers, and the supporting informants are students of class X TM and the principal. In collecting data, the researcher used observation and interview methods. The data analysis technique that the author uses is data reduction, data display, and conclusions. To test the validity of the data, researchers used data triangulation techniques. Based on the research that has been done, the strategy of PAI teachers in increasing student motivation in Islamic religious education subjects for class X TM at SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Raya has been carried out but has not been maximized. Thus the PAI teacher's strategy in increasing student learning motivation is to use learning methods that attract students' attention, use cooperative learning models, understand the characteristics of class X TM students, use learning media that attract students' attention, and form a conducive and fun learning climate. Another strategy is to give grades and hold competitions to make students active and increase students' motivation to learn in Islamic religious education subjects.  Keyword: Strategy, Learning Motivation, Islamic Religious Education

Abstract

This research was motivated by the fact that it was not known how the civil servant teacher's perspective on the teaching skills carried out by PPL students of the Islamic Religious Education Study Program Faculty of Tarbiyah Teacher Training UIN Sheikh M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi in 2017-2019 at Pondok Pesantren Madinatul Munawwarah Bukittinggi. The type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative research and is located in Pondok Pesantren Madinatul Munawwarah Bukittinggi, the data collection technique used is interview. Data analysis used the Milles and Hubberman models, namely data reduction, data analysis, and drawing conclusions/verification. The results showed that the skills of varying the learning carried out by PPL students of the Department of Islamic Education, Faculty of Tarbiyah Teacher Science UIN Sheikh M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi both in terms of varying teaching styles, interaction patterns, use of media, learning methods and others were good and already fulfill the provisions in varying learning, although there are still those who have not perfectly applied it in learning so that learning seems monotonous and boring.  Keywords: Teachers' Perceptions, Teaching Skills, PPL Students, Department of Islamic Education

Abstract

The use of methods in a teaching and learning process is very helpful for teachers and students. Because the method is a structured way in the teaching and learning process to achieve the goals of the teaching and learning process itself. Because with it, it has a big influence in supporting learning success, because through the method learning material can be more easily conveyed. The purpose of this trial is to prove the effectiveness of the role playing method in improving learning outcomes. The research method used in this study is experimental, quasi-experimental design and the research design is a non-equivalent control group design that takes two classes directly. This research was conducted at MTs Muhammadiyah Kajai. The researched is all class VIII. There are two classes used, namely as an experimenter and a controller. The sampling was done by random sampling (Probability Sampling), the sample in this study was class VIII, amounting to 48 people. Class VIII A as an experimental class, which is a class taught by the role playing method, and class VIII B as a control class or a class taught by the lecture method. The instrument used in this study was a test of learning outcomes in the form of multiple choice questions and observation sheets. The data technique in this study used descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. Descriptively explained that the control class obtained 63,375. While the experimental class obtained 81,167 and deductively the value of t_count is 5,675 and t_table is 2,01290, and the significance is 0.000. This study concludes that the hypothesis is accepted. The application of the role playing method is effective to improve student learning outcomes in the subject of Islamic Cultural History at MTs Muhammadiyah Kajai. Abstract

This paper analyzes the strategic role of Da'i Nagari (local preacher) as Da'i assisting the nagari (village) government in driving rural development in Pasaman Regency, West Sumatra. Da'i Nagari is a local government-created program that rewards preachers in West Sumatra. This study aims to describe the significant role of Da'i Nagari in the development process. This research is critical since Da'i Nagari is a specific regional government initiative that only exists in West Sumatra. By providing an overview of the presence of Da'i Nagari in Pasaman Barat, this qualitative descriptive study elucidates the role of Da'i Nagari in the development process. Additionally, this study addresses academic concerns regarding the potential positive effects of the Da'i Nagari program on rural development. The results of this study are revealed by describing Da'i Nagari as an extension of the regional government in developing rural communities. The presence of Da'i Nagari assists the community in resolving various religious problems, including character building, religious information development, and social issues.

Abstract

Beberapa permasalahan yang penulis temukan di kelas XI F6 dan F7 SMA N 05 Bukittinggi menjadi pendorong dilakukannya penelitian ini. Minat yang muncul pada diri siswa saat belajar berkaitan langsung dengan Kurikulum Mandiri yang diterapkan pada diri mereka. Salah satu indikator pengaruh Kurikulum Mandiri terhadap minat belajar adalah Kurikulum Mandiri. Perilaku yang diamati di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki keterbatasan dalam menerapkan kurikulum mandiri agar dapat belajar dengan minat, kurang memahami materi yang dipelajari, kurang memperhatikan guru saat menjelaskan materi, dan tidak semua siswa SMA 05 Bukittinggi mampu menerapkan kurikulum mandiri secara efektif sehingga menyebabkan kurangnya minat belajar. Kegagalan dalam mengatasi permasalahan ini akan berdampak pada hasil belajar siswa. Siswa mengaku sering merasa bosan saat belajar sehingga menghambat pemahaman mereka terhadap konten yang diajarkan instruktur kepada mereka di kelas. Mereka juga mengaku kurang percaya diri dengan kemampuan belajarnya karena ragu-ragu dalam menyampaikan ide di depan kelas. Oleh karena itu, daripada berpartisipasi aktif dalam diskusi kelas, siswa lebih suka tetap diam. Koefisien konstan sebesar 27,356 menunjukkan bahwa jika X bernilai nol (0), menurut temuan uji regresi sederhana. Ini menunjukkan bahwa 27.356 anak tertarik untuk belajar jika kurikulum otonom adalah (0). Variabel kurikuler independen memiliki koefisien regresi sebesar 0,860. Menurut temuan uji f, F hitung adalah 77,343 dan F tabel adalah 3,99, menunjukkan bahwa 77,343 > 3,99. Berdasarkan hasil uji determinasi, ditetapkan bahwa penerapan kurikulum Independen memiliki dampak yang cukup kuat/sedang terhadap minat belajar siswa. Secara khusus, 54% siswa kelas XI di SMA N 05 Bukittinggi melaporkan bahwa kurikulum memiliki dampak pada minat belajar mereka, dengan 46% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain. Penggunaan kurikulum otonomi berpengaruh terhadap minat siswa dalam mempelajari matematika di SMA N 05 Bukittinggi, hal ini terlihat dari hasil Berdasarkan perhitungan kriteria tersebut di atas, Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak.

Abstract

When studying, students do more than just sit back and listen to the instructor's words. Active involvement in the learning process is also expected from students. Student engagement, teacher-student communication, and overall enthusiasm for Islamic religious education can all benefit from the use of Spinning Wheel media. Student engagement, teacher-student communication, and overall enthusiasm for Islamic religious education can all benefit from the use of Spinning Wheel media. The main aim of this research is to determine the impact of using Spinning Wheel media on the learning outcomes of class VII students. Bukittinggi, SMP Negeri 7, in the Islamic Religious Education class. Using a posttest-only control group design, this quantitative study employed a quasi-experimental methodology. The use of Spinning Wheel media is one of two independent factors in this research, while the results of learning activities are the dependent variable. The experimental group and control group each completed 16 multiple choice test questions to collect data. In this study, a random selection procedure was used to select 60 students from a population of 217. If the decision making value is less than 0.05, it means that the dependent and independent variables are significantly different. Because there is an influence of variations in the treatment of each variable, the sig value of the questions filled in by the control and experimental classes is 0.022. Therefore, it is natural to assume that class VII students of SMP Negeri 7 Bukittinggi benefit academically from using the Spinning Wheel media in their Islamic religious education classes.

Abstract

The main finding this study is that there are students who are not very disciplined and disciplined students whose learning outcomes from studying the Qur'an are really poor. purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a significant correlation between the learning outcomes of Al-Qur'an Hadist in MAN 3 Agam and the learning discipline. Correlational research is the type of study, and quantitative research is the method employed. The two variables that make up the research variables are learning outcomes (Y) and learning discipline (X). 48 pupils from class XI MAN 3 Agam for the 20232024 academic year made up the study's population. Saturated samples were used for the sampling process. in order for the whole population to serve as the sample. Learning discipline questionnaires and student learning result documents are used in data collecting. The study's findings demonstrate a connection between students' learning outcomes in the Al-Qur'an Hadith course at MAN 3 Agam and their learning discipline. According to the statistical test, it has a positive association with a Pearson correlation of 0.750 and a significance value of 0.000 > 0.05. Ha is thus accepted but Ho is refused. This indicates a connection between Al-Qur'an Hadith course at MAN 3 Agam and student learning outcomes in terms of learning discipline.
