Abstract

ABSTRAK Personal hygiene merupakan aspek penting dalam perawatan pasien di rumah sakit, terutama dalam mencegah infeksi nosokomial dan mempercepat proses penyembuhan. Namun, masih banyak pasien yang mengalami keterbatasan dalam menjaga kebersihan pribadi, terutama karena kurangnya pengetahuan dan keterlibatan keluarga dalam proses perawatan. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan keluarga pasien melalui pendidikan kesehatan sebagai upaya peningkatan peran serta mereka dalam pemenuhan personal hygienepasien di RSUD UOBK Dr. Slamet Garut. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi edukasi melalui penyuluhan, pelatihan langsung kepada keluarga pasien, serta evaluasi menggunakan pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman keluarga mengenai pentingnya personal hygiene serta peningkatan partisipasi aktif keluarga dalam perawatan pasien. Pemberdayaan keluarga melalui pendekatan pendidikan kesehatan efektif dalam meningkatkan pemenuhan personal hygiene pasien, serta dapat menjadi strategi berkelanjutan dalam mendukung pelayanan keperawatan yang holistik di rumah sakit. Kata Kunci: Pemberdayaan Keluarga, Pendidikan Kesehatan, Personal Hygiene, Pasien, Rumah Sakit  ABSTRACT Personal hygiene is an important aspect of patient care in hospitals, especially in preventing nosocomial infections and accelerating the healing process. However, many patients still experience limitations in maintaining personal hygiene, especially due to lack of knowledge and family involvement in the care process. This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to empower patient families through health education as an effort to increase their participation in fulfilling patient personal hygiene at UOBK Dr. Slamet Garut Regional Hospital. Implementation methods include education through counseling, direct training for patient families, and evaluation using pre-tests and post-tests to measure improvements in knowledge and skills. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in family understanding of the importance of personal hygiene as well as an increase in active family participation in patient care. Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the problem based learning model assisted by video based laboratory on student learning outcomes in the material of optical devices. The population in this research were all class XI MIPA SMAN 1 Gunungsari. Sampling was carried out using a purposive sampling technique, so that class XI MIPA 4 was obtained as the experimental class and class XI MIPA 1 as the control class. The design used in this research was the nonequivalent control group design, where the two samples were given different treatment. The experimental class will be given learning treatment using a problem based learning model assisted by video based laboratory, while the control class will be given treatment with conventional learning. Learning outcomes are measured, namely in the cognitive domain which includes cognitive levels from C1 to C6. The instrument used was a multiple choice test with 20 questions. Study result data were analyzed using parametric statistics, namely t-test polled variance with a significant level of 5% or 0.05 and obtained a tcount of 2.49 and a ttable of 2.01. If tcount is greater than ttable, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so it can be concluded that the video based laboratory assisted problem based learning model has an effect on student learning outcomes in the material of optical devices.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe scientific literacy and character education in 21st century science learning and to examine, describe the suitability of scientific literacy and character education for 21st century science lessons. Scientific literacy is the ability to understand science, communicate science, and apply science abilities to solving problems, in the process of learning scientific literacy is easily associated with science subjects. Scientific literacy and character education assist students in developing their potential and character values for competitiveness in the 21st century. In this study, the literature review method was used, namely by placing, obtaining, reading, and evaluating various related or related research literature. with the problem to be studied. The data described are the results of research on scientific literacy and character education in the 21st century, which have been carried out by previous researchers. The results of the literature review found that scientific literacy and character education can be integrated in 21st century science learning.

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on students' learning outcomes, focusing on how different learning styles—visual, auditory, and kinesthetic—affect its efficacy. Conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Narmada, the research employed a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group setup to measure the impacts of PBL versus traditional teaching methods. Findings from the study revealed significant improvements in the physics learning outcomes for the experimental group, which engaged with the PBL model, compared to the control group that used conventional direct instruction methods. Statistical analysis using a two-way ANOVA showed a significant enhancement in learning outcomes associated with the PBL model (p = 0.030), but no significant interaction between learning styles and the learning model was found, indicating that the PBL model benefits all learning styles equally without preference. These results suggest that while PBL universally improves learning outcomes, individual learning styles do not significantly alter its effectiveness. The study highlights the potential of PBL to not only increase academic performance in physics but also to foster a more engaging and participatory learning environment. It underscores the importance of adopting educational models that accommodate diverse learning preferences and provide dynamic, student-centered learning experiences. This research contributes to the understanding of instructional effectiveness and supports the broader implementation of PBL in physics education to cater to varied educational needs and learning styles.

Abstract

This study aims to examine whether or not there is an influence of the PhET-assisted problem-based learning model on student learning outcomes in Wave material. The type of research used is a quasi-experimental research design with Nonquivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were all students in class XI MAN 1 Mataram with the sample being students in class XI MIPA 3 with a total of 31 students as the control class and students in class XI MIPA 4 with a total of 29 students as the experimental class. The test instrument used is in the form of multiple choice questions. Before the test instrument is given, the instrument is tested first, namely testing validity, reliability, difficulty level, and discriminating power. The results of the analysis showed that the average score of the physics learning outcomes of students who were taught with the PhET-assisted problem-based learning model was 79.65 and students who were taught without using PhET had an average value of 69.77. The results of testing the hypothesis using the t-test obtained a t-count of 6.45 and a t-table of 2.0017. Thus the value of t-count is greater than t-table then Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. This means that there is an influence of the PhET-assisted problem-based learning model on student learning outcomes in class XI MAN 1 Mataram class wave material.

Abstract

The problem-based learning (PBL) model is a form of learning that emphasizes the learning process and developing problem-solving skills. The low level of environmental awareness is increasingly worrying. Ecological awareness, in this case ecotourism, is decreasing along with technological developments. For this reason, scientific literacy and environmental awareness are needed, especially in character formation. This article research conducted a systematic literature review using PRISMA approach, namely carrying out a synthesis of studies from articles on the theme of the ecotourism-integrated problem-based learning (PBL) model to increase scientific literacy and environmental awareness. The articles used in this paper are from Google Scholar, scopus and science direct with the application of proportional sampling techniques, 15 of the 72 articles that meet the inclusion criteria, the year of publication between 2020 until 2024, the languages used are Indonesian and English, the research subject is Problem-Based Learning (PBL). The research results show that PBL has positive potential in increasing scientific literacy and environmental awareness. Both the use of the PBL model directly and with integration show an increase in scientific literacy and concern for the environment

Abstract

Tuberkulosis (TB) Paru masih menjadi salah satu sepuluh penyakit mematikan di dunia.Meskipun strategi pencegahan dan pengendalian tuberkulosis paru yang direkomendasikantelah diterapkan, namun masih banyak pasien yang gagal menyelesaikan pengobatan obatanti tuberkulosis karena berbagai faktor termasuk keluhan efek samping yang dirasakan.Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui efek samping pengobatan yang di alamipenderita TB Paru. Metode penelitian ini adalah desain studi observational deskriptifdengan desain kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah pasien TB Paru dalam masapengobatan, sampel sebanyak 61 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa efeksamping yang di alami yaitu terdapat 13 keluhan yang muncul, keluhan terbanyak padapenelitian ini adalah Mual (55.74%). Pada kasus TB Paru dewasa lanjut memerlukanpenanganan khusus. Selanjutnya, penelitian ini dapat dijadikan rekomendasi perlunyapemantauan oleh perawat pada penderita TB Paru terhadap efek samping yang mungkindialami

Abstract

The development of digital technology has given rise to new types of non-physical wealth, such as cryptocurrency, e-wallets, social media accounts, and digital intellectual property. However, Indonesia's civil inheritance law system, which is based on the Burgerlijk Wetboek (Civil Code), does not explicitly regulate the status and mechanism of inheritance of such digital assets. The absence of specific regulations creates legal issues for heirs, ranging from difficulties in identification to obstacles in accessing the digital assets of the deceased. This study employs a normative and comparative legal approach by analyzing national legislation, inheritance practices in several countries such as the United States (RUFADAA), and theories of legal harmonization. The results of the study indicate that, conceptually, digital assets meet the criteria as legal objects that can be inherited because they have economic value and transferable ownership. However, the absence of explicit regulations in national law makes digital assets vulnerable to loss or improper distribution. Therefore, legal harmonization is an inevitability. Legal harmonization of inheritance regarding digital assets can be achieved through three main schemes. First, integrating digital assets into the list of inherited assets by explicitly including them in a will (testamentaire beschikking) or statement of assets. Second, establishing a mechanism for identifying and distributing digital assets involving notaries as legal actors and developing a national digital data system. Third, the formulation of technical regulations that grant legal access to heirs to the deceased's digital accounts and cryptocurrency wallets, accompanied by cross-border enforcement cooperation with global digital service providers. These three schemes are based on the principles of volledigheid van de nalatenschap, gerechtigheid (justice), and rechtszekerheid in Dutch law, and are in line with Nonet and Selznick's theory of responsive law, which encourages the adaptation of law to social and technological dynamics. The comprehensive reformulation of inheritance law provisions in the Civil Code is a strategic step in ensuring legal protection for heirs and addressing the challenges of digital inheritance in the information society era.

Abstract

Pembelajaran geosains, khususnya Matakuliah Pengantar Geologi dan Geofisika, menuntut pengalaman lapangan untuk memahami dinamika bumi secara nyata. Praktikum lapangan ini dirancang untuk memberikan pengalaman empiris kepada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika Universitas Mataram dalam mengamati fenomena geologi, struktur batuan, serta teknik pengukuran geofisika dan interpretasinya. Kegiatan tahunan ini merupakan bagian dari pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman lapangan (field based learning) yang menjadi ciri khas kurikulum Pendidikan Fisika FKIP Unram. Praktikum ini meliputi 3 metode geofisika yaitu metode Geolistrik, Geomagnet, Seismik Bias serta kunjungan ke Rinjani Volcano Observatory. Hasil interpretasi dari berbagai metode geofisika pada praktikum ini dapat di akses dan dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat sekitar untuk berbagai kepentingan. Salah satu contoh nyata hasil interpretasi geofisika yang telah dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat adalah peta resistivitas yang telah dimanfaatkan untuk mengetahui posisi akuifer air. Hasil ini telah dikonfirmasi dengan pemboran yang telah menghasilkan sumber air yang telah dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat hingga saat ini.
