Abstract

Pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam memasarkan produk herbal melalui e-commerce menjadi salah satu strategi yang relevan untuk meningkatkan daya saing UMKM di era digital. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pelaku usaha kecil, khususnya pengrajin dan produsen herbal lokal, dalam mengoptimalkan teknologi digital untuk memasarkan produk mereka. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi pelatihan, pendampingan teknis, dan evaluasi pasca-kegiatan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam menggunakan platform e-commerce seperti Tokopedia, Shopee, dan media sosial sebagai alat pemasaran. Selain itu, peserta juga mampu membuat akun toko, mengelola katalog produk, serta memahami dasar-dasar digital marketing. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa pelatihan dan pendampingan yang terstruktur dapat memberdayakan masyarakat dalam meningkatkan nilai jual produk herbal secara daring

Abstract

Pelatihan mendesain poster menggunakan media Canva bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa kelas VIII di SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Makassar melalui penerapan teknologi digital dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Rendahnya tingkat kreativitas siswa dalam mengerjakan tugas visual dan kurangnya pemanfaatan media digital dalam pembelajaran menjadi latar belakang pelatihan ini. Siswa diberikan pemahaman dasar mengenai desain grafis serta keterampilan praktiks dalam menggunakan aplikasi Canva sebagai media kreatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest dalam satu kelompok, dengan hasil menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Canva secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan keterampilan desain siswa. Pelatihan ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis teknologi mampu memberikan hasil lebih efektif dibandingkan metode konvensional.

Abstract

Kabupaten sumedang merupakan daerah yang sangat identik dengan tahu, kuliner khas daerah tersebut. Tahu sumedang tidak hanya menjadi kuliner di kabupaten sumedang, tetapi juga menjadi bagian integral dari sektor perekonomian masyarakat, terutama dalam sektor industri tahu. Perkembangan industri tahu di kabupaten sumedang pada awalnya dipelopori oleh perusahaan industri tahu pertama, yaitu industri tahu bungkeng. Industri tahu bungkeng dirintis pada awal tahun 1900 oleh Ong Ki No, kemudian mulai dikembangkan pada tahun 1917 oleh putranya yang bernama Ong Bung Keng. Pada tahun 1958, pengelolaannya diturunkan kepada Ong Yu Kim, anak dari Ong Bung Keng dan sejak tahun 1995 hingga saat ini, dikelola oleh Ong Che Ciang (Suriadi). Industri tahu bungkeng adalah salah satu Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) yang saat ini telah memiliki dua cabang. Cabang pertama berada di Jalan 11 April Nomor 53 dan cabang kedua berada di Jalan Mayor Abdurachman Nomor 70 dan 136. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejarah dan perkembangan industri tahu bungkeng di Kabupaten Sumedang dari tahun 1990 hingga tahun 2000. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian sejarah menurut kuntowijoyo. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa terdapat perkembangan yang signifikan pada industri tahu Bungkeng dari tahun 1990-2000, di mana alat produksi yang digunakan untuk membuat tahu Bungkeng sudah semi otomatis. Misalnya, alat manual yang digunakan untuk menggiling kedelai diganti menjadi mesin giling diesel. Dalam proses produksi, terutama proses pembakaran penggunaan minyak tanah diganti menjadi bahan bakar solar dan uap. Pengaruh industri tahu bungkeng di Kabupaten Sumedang memberikan dampak positif bagi perekonomian masyarakat setempat, karena dapat membuka kesempatan usaha dan lapangan pekerjaan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of Institutional Ownership, Managerial Ownership, Capital Structure, and Firm Size on Firm Value. The research employs a quantitative method. The population consists of manufacturing companies in the Food and Beverage sub-sector from 2019 to 2023, totaling 95 companies. A sample of 26 companies was selected, yielding 130 data points. Secondary data were used for data collection, and multiple linear regression analysis was applied for data analysis. The results indicate that Institutional Ownership and Managerial Ownership have a positive and significant effect on Firm Value, while Capital Structure and Firm Size do not significantly affect Firm Value. Simultaneously, all variables—Institutional Ownership, Managerial Ownership, Capital Structure, and Firm Size—have a positive and significant effect on Firm Value.

Abstract

The construction of the Mengkaras Monument in Kerakas Village is a strategic effort to strengthen the village's identity while enhancing social harmony and community pride. As a village monument, its presence is expected to serve as a symbol representing the local character and history, while also beautifying the surroundings. The community service efforts in building the Mengkaras Monument were carried out through a participatory approach, involving various elements of society, including village leaders, youth, and social groups. Research findings indicate that the Mengkaras Monument plays a role in fostering a sense of belonging among residents, serving as a hub for social activities, and adding aesthetic value to the environment. More than just a village landmark, this monument serves as an element that strengthens unity and raises awareness of the importance of preserving local cultural identity. The presence of the Mengkaras Monument is expected to inspire other villages to develop infrastructure that is not only aesthetically valuable but also holds deep social and historical significance for the local community.

Abstract

Arrhythmia is a cardiovascular disorder commonly detected through electrocardiogram (ECG) signal analysis. However, classifying arrhythmias based on ECG signals remains challenging due to signal complexity and individual variability. This study aims to develop a more accurate and efficient method for arrhythmia classification. The proposed method utilizes Kernel Principal Component Analysis (KPCA) and the naïve Bayes algorithm to classify arrhythmic ECG signals. KPCA is chosen for its ability to reduce data dimensionality, facilitating the processing of complex ECG signal and improving classification accuracy by minimizing noise. The naïve Bayes algorithm is chosen for its simplicity and computational speed, as well as its effective performance, even with limited data. ECG signals are processed using KPCA to reduce data dimensionality and extract relevant features. Subsequently, the naïve Bayes algorithm is then applied to classify the ECG signals into four categories: Premature Atrial Contraction (PAC), Premature Ventricular Contraction (PVC), Left Bundle Branch Block (LBBB), and Right Bundle Branch Block (RBBB).  The model's performance is evaluated using metrics such as accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, precision, and F1-score. The naïve Bayes model achieves an overall accuracy of 97.67%, with the highest performance observed in the RBBB class at 99.33%. Additionally, the F1-scores across all classes range from 96.62% to 98.57%, demonstrating the model's capability in detecting arrhythmias effectively. These results indicate that the combination of KPCA and naïve Bayes is effective for arrhythmic ECG signals classification.

Abstract

Identifikasi dan morfometrik induk penyu ini merupakan kegiatan rutin yang dilakukan oleh Balai Kawasan Konservasi Perairan Nasional untuk mengidentifikasi jenis induk penyu yang mendarat, pengukuran terhadap morfometrik induk penyu, serta mengetahui kondisi lingkungan ditempat mendaratnya induk penyu pada periode Februari sampai dengan Maret 2022. Metode yang dilakukan menggunakan metode observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Hasil Penelitian didapatkan dua jenis induk penyu yaitu jenis penyu hijau dan jenis penyu sisik, sebanyak 10 induk penyu yang berhasil diukur morfomteriknya dengan panjang tubuh rata-rata 110-133 cm, panjang karapas 83-103 cm dan jumlah total telur sebanyak 1.957 butir yang ditemukan juga sebanyak 1.726 yang berhasil menetas jadi tukik selama penelitian. Adapun habitat tempat penyu mendarat memiliki pasir yang bertekstur halus berbatu dengan kemiringan pantai peneluran di pulau Kapoposang dan pulau Tambakhulu termasuk kategori landai dan disukai penyu untuk mendarat dengan kemiringan pantai 15º-18º, suhu pasir rata-rata 28˚C-30ºC, dan kelembaban pasir rata-rata 1 RH-4 RH, dengan vegetasi tumbuhan yaitu beruwas laut (Scaevola taccada), Bay Bean (Canavalia rosea), Cemara (Casuarina equisetifolia), Pohon stigi (Pemphis acidula).Identification and morphometrics of mother turtles is a routine activity carried out by the National Marine Conservation Area Office to identify the type of mother turtle that landed, measure the morphometrics of the mother turtle, and determine the environmental conditions where the mother turtle landed in the period February to March 2022. The method used using observation, documentation and interview methods. The research results showed that there were two types of turtle parents, namely the green turtle and the hawksbill turtle. A total of 10 turtle parents had their morphological measurements measured with an average body length of 110-133 cm, carapace length of 83-103 cm and a total number of eggs found of 1,957. There were also 1,726 who successfully hatched into hatchlings during the research. The habitat where the turtles land has sand with a fine, rocky texture with a slope of the nesting beaches on Kapoposang Island and Tamba Khulu Island which is in the gentle category and turtles prefer to land with a beach slope of 15º-18º, an average sand temperature of 28˚C-30ºC, and humidity. sand average 1 RH-4 RH, with plant vegetation namely sea bean (Scaevola taccada), Bay Bean (Canavalia rosea), Pine (Casuarina equisetifolia), Stigi tree (Pemphis acidula).

Abstract

Indonesia menduduki posisi ke dua setelah cina penghasil sampah plastik terbesar di dunia. Dimana salah satu limbah plastik tersebut adalah HDPE (High Density Polyethylene). Sedangkan plastik merupakan produk hasil pengolahan minyak bumi yang dapat direcycle ke bentuk semulanya karena bahan baku pembuatan limbah plastik adalah nafta yang merupakan salah satu unsur dari minyak bumi. Salah satu solusi yang diperlukan adalah recycle dengan mengubah limbah plastik menjadi bahan bakar dengan proses pirolisis. Pirolisis merupakan salah satu proses terbaik dari recycle limbah plastik, dengan pertimbangan memahami sifat limbah plastik HDPE. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat pirolisis dengan variable suhu proses yaitu 300⸰C, 325⸰C, dan 350⸰C, waktu proses pirolisis yaitu 2 dan 4 jam. Dari proses pirolisis diperoleh hasil volume bahan bakar diesel yaitu pada suhu 300⸰C sebanyak 95 ml, suhu 325⸰C sebanyak 100 ml, dan suhu 350⸰C sebanyak 145 ml. Dari hasil analisa data optimal  untuk suhu dan waktu optimum proses pirolisis limbah plastik HDPE yaitu pada suhu 325⸰C selama 2 jam, bahan bakar diesel yang didapat memiliki kadar abu 0,044 (b/b), dan kadar air 0,031(%vol). ABSTRACTIndonesia is in second place after China, the largest plastic waste producer in the world. Where one of the plastic wastes is HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene). Meanwhile, plastic is a product of petroleum processing that can be recycled to its original form because the raw material for making plastic waste is naphtha, which is an element of petroleum. One solution that is needed to recycle by converting plastic waste into fuel by the pyrolysis process. Pyrolysis is one of the best processes for recycling plastic waste, with consideration of understanding the nature of HDPE plastic waste. This study used a pyrolysis tool with process temperature variables, namely 300⸰C, 325⸰C, and 350⸰C, the pyrolysis process time was 2 and 4 hours. From the pyrolysis process, the results of the volume of diesel fuel are at a temperature of 300 ⸰C as much as 95 ml, a temperature of 325 C as much as 100 ml, and a temperature of 350 ⸰C as much as 145 ml. From the results of the optimal data analysis for the optimum temperature and time of the HDPE plastic waste pyrolysis process, which is at a temperature of 325⸰C for 2 hours, the obtained diesel fuel has an ash content of 0.044 (w / w), and a moisture content of 0.031 (vol%).

Abstract

Electroencephalography (EEG) is a non-invasive technique for monitoring and recording the brain's electrical activity with electrodes applied to the scalp. The method is important in neurological studies, like that of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), because it measures patterns of brain waves that can identify developmental abnormalities. However, EEG signals are often contaminated by multiple noise sources, including eye movements, muscle activity, and extraneous interference. This interference can significantly reduce the quality and intelligibility of signals. Therefore, preprocessing is required to enhance the reliability and precision of the data obtained. In this study, a Butterworth Band-Pass Filter (BPF) was used during preprocessing to filter out undesirable frequency components and to mitigate noise. After filtering, EEG signals were handled using the Variational Mode Decomposition (VMD) technique. VMD is an adaptive method for decomposing multidimensional signals into intrinsic mode functions while preserving critical details of the original data. For performance comparison, four quantitative metrics were used: Mean Squared Error (MSE), Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE), and Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR). Results showed that VMD performed better than BPF alone. As an example, for Subject 1, VMD achieved an MAE of 0.26 and MSE of 0.42, which was far superior to the MAE of 13.72 and MSE of 674.96 of BPF. Subject 3 had the least RMSE (0.40) when using VMD, whereas BPF scored 25.90. VMD also reported a highest SNR of 28.56, compared to BPF's 2.43. Overall, integrating VMD with BPF significantly improves EEG signal quality and enables more accurate analysis, particularly in ASD-related studies.

Abstract

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurological condition characterized by challenges in communication and social interaction, accompanied by the development of repetitive behavioral patterns. Electroencephalography (EEG) is primarily used to assess brain function in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), mainly due to its non-invasive nature and superior temporal resolution compared to other neuroimaging methods. However, EEG signals are often contaminated by biological artifacts, such as eye movements and muscle contractions, which can significantly distort analysis outcomes. Pre-processing is therefore required to increase the accuracy of the EEG signal before additional analysis. The goal of this study was to compare and evaluate the performance of two pre-processing techniques, the Butterworth Band-Pass Filter and Multiscale Independent Component Analysis (MS-ICA), using four different performance metrics: Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Mean Squared Error (MSE), Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE), and Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR). The Butterworth method has an MAE of 227.57, which is acceptable. However, it produced an MSE of 160,653.22, an RMSE of 394.49, and a maximum SNR of only 1.33 dB. MS-ICA performs far better with a best MAE of only 0.44, an MSE of 3.33, an RMSE of 1.76, and an SNR of 30.88 dB. Paired t-test (p < 0.05) was employed to determine statistical significance,  while Cohen's d was used to assess the practical significance of the results. The effect sizes of MAE (d = 1.60), MSE (d = 1.02), RMSE (d = 1.54), and SNR (d = -9.50) were all calculated as large. These findings demonstrate that MS-ICA offers both statistical advantages and strong practical usefulness for noise removal while preserving the structural integrity of the original EEG signals. Therefore, MS-ICA proves to be the best approach for pre-processing EEG signals to be used for analysis in children with ASD
