Abstract

The selection process is a crucial part of human resource management, aiming to select prospective employees who align with the organization's values ​​and the position's needs. Selection is the administrative process of accepting or rejecting applicants and ensuring that candidates' abilities meet the job requirements. Therefore, selection is the initial step in determining the quality of the workforce that will support future business performance. Human resources (HR) play an important role in determining the success of an organization. One of the important stages in HR management is selection, which is the process of choosing candidates who are most suitable for the position and organizational values. Selection is not merely an administrative process, but a strategy to produce a competent, competitive workforce that is in line with the culture of the institution. This research uses a library research approach. This paper discusses the concept of selection, sources of selection, types of acceptance tests, various selection challenges, and the importance of HR orientation programs, especially in educational institutions. With a fair and transparent selection system and structured orientation, organizations can develop a professional workforce capable of facing future changes and competition.

Abstract

The presence of public relations management holds significant importance inside an educational institution, particularly in fostering favorable public perception through effective communication strategies. The present study examines the utilization of public relations management as a means of facilitating effective communication between educational institutions and the surrounding community. The objective of this paper is to ascertain the efficacy of various public relations management tactics in enhancing the reputation of elementary and secondary educational institutions. The methodology employed in this study involves the utilization of a literature review methodology. The findings of the study revealed that there were a total of five national publications, as indexed by Sinta, that examined the impact of public relations management on enhancing the reputation of educational institutions. These journals were identified through a search conducted on Google Scholar. Based on the findings of the conducted literature review, it is evident that public relations management can employ several strategies to enhance the image of educational institutions. These strategies encompass effective internal institutional coordination, community engagement, utilization of digital and print media, organizing school activities, active involvement in community initiatives, and a comprehensive understanding of the factors that facilitate or impede human resource management implementation.

Abstract

This study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to examine research related to school principals’ leadership styles, teacher competencies, organizational culture, and their influence on teacher performance. The review analyzes scientific articles published between 2019 and 2024 by following a structured procedure of identifying, selecting, and synthesizing relevant literature. The findings indicate that principals’ leadership styles—whether task-oriented, relationship-oriented, or change-oriented—significantly affect teacher performance. Teacher competencies, including classroom management skills, instructional material design, and assessment of learning outcomes, also contribute to performance improvement. Furthermore, an organizational culture that promotes innovation, collaboration, and results orientation plays a vital role in enhancing teacher performance. Overall, these findings highlight the importance of effective school management through leadership, teacher competence, and organizational culture in improving educational quality.

Abstract

Educational supervision is one of the essential instruments for improving the quality of learning in schools. This study aims to describe the theoretical foundations and supervision techniques in enhancing learning quality. The research method employed is library research through an analysis of various literatures, books, scientific articles, and regulations relevant to educational supervision. The findings indicate that educational supervision has evolved from merely administrative control to academic guidance that is more humanistic in nature. The implementation of supervision includes individual, group, and case-based approaches, each providing different strategies for improving learning quality. In addition, scientific, artistic, and clinical approaches to supervision offer systematic, flexible, and contextual frameworks that align with the needs of teachers and students. These findings emphasize that professionally conducted supervision plays a significant role in creating innovative, effective, and sustainable learning processes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji optimalisasi indikator program dalam manajemen strategi pendidikan yang meliputi aspek evaluasi, implementasi, serta dampaknya terhadap peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Fokus penelitian diarahkan pada bagaimana indikator program dirumuskan, digunakan sebagai alat evaluasi, diimplementasikan dalam strategi manajerial, serta kontribusinya terhadap efektivitas pengelolaan lembaga pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif-evaluatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi terhadap pelaksanaan program pendidikan. Analisis data dilakukan secara sistematis melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan untuk memperoleh gambaran yang komprehensif mengenai optimalisasi indikator program dalam manajemen strategi pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa optimalisasi indikator program yang disusun secara jelas, terukur, dan selaras dengan visi dan misi lembaga pendidikan mampu meningkatkan efektivitas evaluasi program dan kualitas implementasi strategi pendidikan. Indikator program yang terintegrasi dengan manajemen strategi memudahkan pemantauan capaian program, memperkuat pengambilan keputusan berbasis data, serta mendorong perbaikan berkelanjutan. Dampak yang dihasilkan terlihat pada peningkatan kinerja manajerial, kualitas pelaksanaan program pendidikan, serta akuntabilitas lembaga. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa indikator program merupakan elemen kunci dalam keberhasilan manajemen strategi pendidikan. Optimalisasi indikator program tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai alat ukur keberhasilan program, tetapi juga sebagai instrumen strategis dalam meningkatkan mutu dan efektivitas penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Implikasi penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya bagi lembaga pendidikan untuk merumuskan indikator program secara sistematis, berorientasi pada hasil, dan dievaluasi secara berkelanjutan sebagai dasar pengambilan kebijakan dan pengembangan strategi pendidikan yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Tepung ikan (Ti) sebagai sumber protein mengandung nitrogen dan fosfor tinggi sehingga berpotensi meningkatkan pencemaran perairan. Karena itu, dicari alternatif protein nabati seperti tepung kedelai (Tk) yang memiliki kandungan nitrogen dan fosfor lebih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh komposisi protein utama dalam pakan terhadap kualitas air serta kadar nitrogen dan fosfor tubuh ikan lele dumbo (Clarias gariepinus). Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Teknologi Pembenihan Ikan, Politeknik Bombana (Oktober–November 2024) menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan lima perlakuan dan tiga ulangan: A (100% Ti), B (75% Ti:25% Tk), C (50% Ti:50% Tk), D (25% Ti:75% Tk), dan E (100% Tk). Variabel yang diamati meliputi kadar protein, nitrogen, fosfor pada pakan, tubuh ikan, feses, serta kualitas air. Data dianalisis dengan ANOVA dan uji lanjut BJND 95%. Hasil menunjukkan pakan 100% Tk (E) menghasilkan akumulasi nitrogen dan fosfor tertinggi pada tubuh ikan (2,530 mg/L dan 0,137 mg/L). Pakan 100% Ti (A) menunjukkan deposit nitrogen terendah (1,830 mg/L) dan buangan tertinggi melalui feses (1,81 mg/L nitrogen; 0,09 mg/L fosfor). Campuran 50% Ti:50% Tk menghasilkan deposit fosfor terendah (0,10 mg/L). Selama penelitian, fosfor dalam air (0,02–0,06 mg/L) dan nitrogen (0,017–0,057 mg/L) masih dalam batas toleransi, sehingga tidak menurunkan kualitas air.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan transformasional memiliki peran strategis dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia di lembaga pendidikan Islam, khususnya dalam mendorong profesionalisme guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis praktik kepemimpinan transformasional kepala madrasah dalam mengembangkan kompetensi profesional guru di madrasah swasta Islam. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi yang melibatkan kepala madrasah dan guru. Analisis data dilakukan dengan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala madrasah menerapkan kepemimpinan transformasional melalui penguatan keteladanan, optimalisasi potensi guru, komunikasi yang terbuka, serta pemberian apresiasi terhadap kreativitas dan kinerja guru. Kepala madrasah juga berperan sebagai fasilitator dengan memberikan ruang inovasi bagi guru sesuai kompetensi masing-masing. Namun, implementasi kepemimpinan tersebut masih menghadapi kendala berupa keterbatasan guru usia produktif, ketidakstabilan pendanaan, serta minimnya dukungan program pelatihan dari lembaga terkait. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada kajian manajemen pendidikan Islam dengan menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional yang terintegrasi dengan nilai-nilai Islam seperti tanggung jawab, keikhlasan, dan keteladanan secara efektif membangun lingkungan kerja kolaboratif dan meningkatkan profesionalisme guru di madrasah.

Abstract

The Controlled Prolanis Participant Ratio (RPPT) in Health Centers throughout Cilegon City in 2023 only reached 0.68%, far below the target. The ratio indicates participants' low utilization of Prolanis services. This study used an analytical observational method with a cross-sectional approach aimed at analyzing factors that influence the utilization of Prolanis in Cilegon City in 2024 with a cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 90 Prolanis participants, and the data were analyzed using logistic regression. The results showed a Prolanis utilization rate of 61.1%. Chi-square analysis showed a significant relationship (p < 0.05) between Prolanis utilization and gender (p = 0.034), education (p = 0.009), knowledge (p = 0.006), family support (p = 0.000), and the role of officers (p = 0.000). However, no significant relationship was found with age (p = 0.729) and occupation (p = 1.000). Logistic regression analysis identified family support as the most influential factor, with a value of β = 3.98, p = 0.000, and OR = 53.5. These results emphasize the importance of increasing Communication, Information, and Education (KIE) efforts to instill awareness of the importance of regular participation in Prolanis activities. In addition, the formation of groups or associations of Prolanis participants and families in every Health Center throughout Cilegon City is recommended to support the success of this program.

Abstract

The growing demand for quality education in the globalization era requires students to develop strong mathematical conceptual understanding alongside essential 21st-century competencies. However, international assessments such as PISA indicate that students’ conceptual mastery in several ASEAN countries remains relatively low, partly due to instructional approaches that are less contextual and culturally relevant. In response, ethnomathematics-based learning has been proposed as an alternative model that integrates local cultural contexts into mathematics instruction to enhance meaningful understanding. This study aims to quantitatively synthesize empirical evidence regarding the effectiveness of ethnomathematics-based learning models in improving students’ mathematical conceptual understanding and to examine the influence of moderator variables. A meta-analysis was conducted on 26 eligible studies published between 2018 and 2025, selected through purposive sampling from the Google Scholar database. Effect sizes were calculated using Hedges’ g under a random-effects model, followed by outlier detection, heterogeneity testing, moderator analysis, and publication bias assessment. The results reveal a statistically significant and very high pooled effect size (g = 1.21, p < 0.0001) after outlier removal, indicating strong effectiveness compared to conventional instruction. Despite substantial heterogeneity, moderator analyses highlight variations across educational levels, mathematical topics, cultural contexts, and learning models. Overall, ethnomathematics-based learning demonstrates robust empirical support as an effective approach to strengthening students’ mathematical conceptual understanding.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas permasalahan ketidaksesuaian kompensasi yang sering memengaruhi kepuasan dan kinerja karyawan, terutama ketika aspek keadilan dan budaya organisasi tidak dikelola dengan baik. Tujuan utama kajian ini adalah menggambarkan bagaimana berbagai bentuk kompensasi serta sistem pemberiannya berperan dalam meningkatkan kinerja sumber daya manusia. Metode yang digunakan merupakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi kepustakaan dengan menelaah literatur, jurnal ilmiah, dan hasil penelitian relevan. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa persepsi keadilan dan transparansi dalam kompensasi memiliki pengaruh lebih signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja dibandingkan besarnya nominal. Budaya organisasi turut menentukan orientasi pemberian kompensasi, apakah berbasis prestasi atau kesetaraan. Selain itu, kompensasi langsung dan tidak langsung terbukti memberi kontribusi berbeda terhadap motivasi dan loyalitas karyawan. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa sistem kompensasi yang adil, konsisten, dan selaras dengan nilai organisasi mampu memperkuat motivasi, meningkatkan produktivitas, serta mendukung keberlanjutan daya saing perusahaan.
