Abstract

Penerimaan mahasiswa baru merupakan aspek penting dalam pengelolaan pendidikan tinggi, termasuk di Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang (Unsika) melalui jalur Seleksi Nasional Berdasarkan Prestasi (SNBP). Jalur ini menilai prestasi akademik siswa tanpa melalui tes tulis, namun masih menghadirkan tantangan dalam menentukan indikator keberhasilan seleksi. Di Fakultas Ilmu Komputer, tingkat persaingan sangat tinggi sehingga diperlukan pendekatan berbasis data untuk mendukung proses seleksi yang lebih objektif. Penelitian ini menerapkan algoritma decision tree C4.5 dan CART untuk memprediksi penerimaan calon mahasiswa baru berdasarkan data historis, dengan menerapkan metode SMOTE untuk mengatasi ketidakseimbangan data dan cost complexity pruning untuk meningkatkan generalisasi model. Proses data mining mengikuti tahapan Knowledge Discovery in Databases (KDD), dengan pengujian menggunakan pembagian data 80:20. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa model C4.5 yang menerapkan SMOTE dan pruning memberikan performa terbaik, dengan akurasi sebesar 85% dan nilai ROC 0,92, mengungguli CART yang memiliki akurasi sama namun nilai ROC lebih rendah sebesar 0,89. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa algoritma C4.5 lebih unggul dalam mendukung proses prediksi penerimaan mahasiswa baru di lingkungan perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Education serves as the fundamental pillar in shaping children’s character and spirituality, with parents playing a central role in Islamic teachings. The Qur’an provides clear guidance on the importance of education grounded in monotheism (tauhid), morality, and knowledge, as reflected in Q.S. An-Nisa’ [4]: 9, Q.S. Luqman [31]: 13–19, and Q.S. At-Tahrim [66]: 6. This study aims to analyze the concept of parental responsibility in Islamic education based on these three verses and to explore their relevance in addressing contemporary challenges in family-based education. The research employs a qualitative method using library research and a thematic (maudhu’i) interpretation approach to extract both thematic and contextual meanings from the selected verses. The findings reveal that the Qur’an places parents as the primary and foremost educators, responsible for nurturing their children’s faith, morals, and life skills as provisions for both this world and the hereafter. In the modern context, this role faces serious challenges, including work-related busyness, secular cultural influences, and value disruption due to digital media. The study concludes that family-based education rooted in the Qur’an remains highly relevant and essential as a moral safeguard for children amid an era of rapid change. The implementation of Qur’anic education values centered on monotheism, moral guidance, and parental role modeling is key to forming a generation of Muslims who are faithful, intelligent, and morally upright.

Abstract

This research developed the SIR model with self-isolation and hospital isolation. The analysis is carried out through the disease-free and endemic equilibrium point analysis and the sensitivity analysis of the basic reproduction number. Based on the disease-free equilibrium point analysis, for a certain period of time the population will be free from COVID-19 if the basic reproduction number is less than 1. If the basic reproduction number is more than 1, the disease will persist in the population, this will lead to an endemic equilibrium point. Based on the sensitivity analysis of parameter values on the basic reproduction number, the parameter for the isolation rate of individually infected individuals in hospitals is -0.4615166040, and the self-isolation rate at home is -0.01853667767. This indicates that isolation in hospitals is more effective than self-isolation in suppressing the spread of COVID-19.

Abstract

Oil palm plantation management in Indonesia faces significant challenges in terms of operational efficiency, land monitoring accuracy, and compliance with sustainability standards. With the advancement of digital technology, the use of drones or Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) has emerged as a potential solution to enhance plantation management effectiveness. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of drones in supporting oil palm plantation management in Indonesia through a review of both national and international literature. The findings indicate that drones can provide high-resolution spatial data quickly and accurately, which can be integrated with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for planting block mapping, crop growth monitoring, pest infestation detection, and land fertility evaluation. Several studies have reported mapping efficiency improvements of up to 60%, along with support for sustainability reporting such as ISPO and RSPO. The use of drones also supports precision agriculture approaches, particularly in variable-rate fertilization and zonal land management. Despite implementation challenges such as investment costs and a shortage of trained operators, drone technology holds significant potential for the digitalization of plantations. This review recommends enhancing UAV adoption through technical training, strengthening digital infrastructure, and formulating supportive operational regulations. The integration of drones into oil palm plantation management is believed to accelerate the transformation toward a more efficient, accurate, and sustainable precision agriculture system.

Abstract

In 2024, according to the 2024 Indonesian Cybersecurity Landscape by the National Cyber Security Agency (BSSN), Indonesia experienced a total of 330,527,636 anomalous traffic. The highest traffic occurred in December with 112,085,045 traffic, and the lowest in May with 12,273,078 traffic. The impact of this leak is very broad, causing the risk of phishing, account hijacking, identity theft, ransomware attacks on companies, and misuse of business email. Based on this background, this study aims to minimize the many attacks that occur in the cyber world, especially on website applications. By using the Security Testing method (White Box Penetration Testing). The MD5 algorithm is still effective in protecting passwords in databases from SQL injection attacks that use common username and password combinations and on websites that use PHP without JavaScript is proven safe from Cross-Site Scripting attacks.

Abstract

The selection of study programs and the selection process for new student admissions are crucial stages that have an impact on the smooth running of studies and students' future careers. However, this process is often still done subjectively, thus potentially causing a mismatch between interests, abilities, and the chosen study program. This research aims to implement the Random Forest algorithm, analyze the factors that influence acceptance, and determine the performance of the prediction model generated by the Random Forest algorithm in assisting new student admissions for the National Selection Based on Test (SNBT) pathway at Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang. This research uses the Knowledge Discovery in Database (KDD) method which consists of 5 stages, namely Data Selection, Preprocessing, Transformation, Data Mining, and Evaluation. The data used was 815 new student data of Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang, which included UTBK scores, school background, and choice of prospective student study programs. In the Transformation and Data Mining stages, 4 data splitting scenarios were carried out, namely 90:10, 80:20, 70:30, and 60:40. The best performance with the Random Forest model is generated by the 80:20 data splitting scenario with an accuracy value of 0.945, precision of 0.937, recall of 0.943, f1-score of 0.940 and AUC value of 0.983.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi superinfeksi bakteri saluran pernapasan pada pasien COVID-19 yang dirawat di ICU RS Dr. M. Djamil. Metode: Studi retrospektif ini meninjau semua pemeriksaan mikrobiologis pernapasan yang dilakukan di ICU pada pasien COVID-19 dari April 2020 hingga Maret 2021. Hasil: Jumlah pasien COVID-19 dengan pemeriksaan mikrobiologis biakan sekret sebanyak 124 orang, sebagian besar berjenis kelamin laki-laki 78 (63%) dan pada kelompok usia 60-69 tahun. Pertumbuhan bakteri ditemukan pada 64 pasien (51%) yang terbagi pada Community acquired pneumonia 40 (62,5%) dan Hospital Acquired Pneumonia (HAP) 24 (37,5%) pasien. Acinetobacter baumannii mendominasi sebagai penyebab superinfeksi pada pasien Covid-19 yang sakit kritis; CAP 14 (35%) diikuti oleh Klebsiella sp 10 (25%) dan HAP 12 (50%) diikuti oleh Pseudomonas auriginosa 6 (25%). Kami juga mengevaluasi kerentanan terhadap antibiotik untuk Acinetobacter baumannii kebanyakan dari mereka memiliki resistensi terhadap carbapenem; 26 (72%). Kesimpulan:  Superinfeksi pada pasien Covid-19 yang dirawat di unit perawatan intensif terjadi pada lebih dari setengah pasien. Acinetobacter baumannii yang resisten terhadap carbapenem ditemukan lebih dari sepertiga

Abstract

Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is an instructional model that places students at the center of the learning process by presenting real-world problems to be solved. This approach promotes critical thinking, collaboration, and emotional regulation skills, which are highly relevant in the context of Physical Education learning in Senior High Schools. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of PBL implementation through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. Data were collected from the Google Scholar database, focusing on articles published between 2019 and 2023. Out of a total of 378 articles found, 11 were selected based on eligibility criteria, such as relevance to keywords and citation count. The analysis results indicate that PBL is not only effective in improving cognitive learning outcomes and students' motor skills but also enhances motivation, active engagement, teamwork skills, and emotional regulation. Moreover, PBL has been proven to encourage students to connect learning with real-life situations, thereby deepening conceptual understanding and strengthening critical thinking skills. This study recommends the implementation of PBL as an innovative strategy in Physical Education to support students' holistic development. By integrating this approach, the quality of learning is expected to improve significantly. These findings make an important contribution to further research, particularly regarding the development of PBL when combined with technology or digital media to expand its impact.

Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to explore the concept of independent learning (merdeka belajar) in several verses of the Quran. The method used in this research is library research, where data is collected from various sources such as books, encyclopedias, scientific journals, newspapers, magazines, and other documents. The results of this research indicate that the explanation of education based on independent learning is found in the Quran, including in Surah Al-Alaq verses 1-5, Surah Al-Mujadalah verse 11, Surah Al-Jumu'ah verse 2, and Surah Al-Kahfi verse 28. Although these verses of the Quran do not explicitly and in detail mention education based on independent learning, it can be implicitly understood from the content of the verses, which mention terms or words related to learning activities such as reading, observing, thinking, writing, having noble character, good communication skills, and others.

Abstract

Lele adalah ikan yang sering dikonsumsi masyarakat yang mudah dilakukan budidaya karena mampu bertahan dalam kondisi apapun. Sedangkan kangkung merupakan tanaman yang mudah dibudidayakan didalam air dan bisa dikonsumsi sehari-hari. Lele dan kangkung dapat dibudidayakan dalam satu tempat yang nantinya akan memiliki nilai ekonomis dan bisa menjadi konsumsi rumah tangga juga. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan keilmuan kepada para warga RT 01 RW 03 Kelurahan Kedungmundu tentang bagaimana budidaya lele dan kangkung di lahan yang sempit dengan menggunakan ember. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan ekonomi warga RT 01 RW 03 Kelurahan Kedungmundu untuk dapat membudidayakan lele dan kangkung yang nantinya bisa dikonsumsi sendiri maupun dijual di sekitar. Hasil dari kegiatan ini warga RT 01 RW 03 Kelurahan Kedungmundu dapat mengaplikasikan dalam kehidupan karena tidak memerlukan lahan yang luas hanya memakai ember. Pelaku budidaya juga bisa memantau perkembangan lele dengan memberikan vitamin dan makanan agar pertumbuhan lele sehat dan cepat. Tanaman kangkung juga akan dapat nutrisi dari air tempat lele tersebut. Hal ini merupakan terobosan yang mutualisme.
