Abstract

One of the activities that can increase the income of housewives is a home industry business or commonly called a home business in making Rainbow Layer Cake (Simcake Erah). The methods used in this activity include lectures, questions and answers or discussions, and training. Training and mentoring were carried out in Laikang Village, Biringkanaya District, Makassar City for 2 weeks. The results obtained were (1) The training in making Rainbow Layer Cake (Simcake Erah) was well responded by the participants; (2) The high interest and motivation of the training participants greatly supported the transfer of knowledge and skills from the servants to the training participants, so that the training materials provided could be absorbed by all; and (3) The training products for making Rainbow Layer Cake (Simcake Erah) can be consumed daily and can be used as entrepreneurial products for housewives.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan dalam mengungkap bagaimana pendidikan kewirausahaan, literasi ekonomi Need For Achievement, self-efficacy, ekspektasi pendapatan terhadap intensi minat berwirausaha pada wirausaha ibu rumah tangga. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Adapun metode pengumpulan data yang diterapkan yaitu melalui observasi, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini merupakan ibu rumah tangga, dan sampelnya sebanyak 100 responden yang diambil dari ibu rumah tangga yang bertempat di Kelurahan Laikang, Kecamatan Biringkanaya, Kota Makassar. Analisis data yang digunakan yakni analisis jalur (path analysis). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pendidikan Kewiraushaaan, Literasi Ekonomi, Need For Achievement, Self Efficacy, dan Ekspektasi Pendapatan berpengaruh terhadap Intensi Minat Berwirausaha, (2) Pendidikan Kewiraushaaan, Literasi Ekonomi, Need For Achievement, dan Self Efficacy berpengaruh terhadap Ekspektasi Pendapatan, dan (3) Pendidikan Kewiraushaaan, Literasi Ekonomi, Need For Achievement, dan Self Efficacy berpengaruh terhadap Intensi Minat Berwirausaha dengan Ekspektasi Pendapatan sebagai variabel moderator.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the cooperative economics learning process on the cooperative interest of students in the Economics Education Study Program at Makassar State University. Cooperative economics learning is considered important to improve students' understanding of cooperatives as an economic model based on collectivity and sustainability. However, despite the many benefits of cooperatives, many students are less interested or even unaware of their importance. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation to explore students' perceptions of cooperatives and the influence of cooperative learning on their interest. The results showed that a learning process that integrates theory and practice can increase students' interest in joining and participating in cooperatives. Students who are directly involved in cooperative activities show a better understanding of cooperative principles and their benefits. However, many students still desire more practical experience and direct involvement in cooperative management. Therefore, it is recommended to increase practical activities and implement more engaging learning methods to increase students' interest and readiness to become involved in cooperatives.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the influence of the digital economy, digital literacy, and marketing innovation on the performance of culinary Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Makassar. Involving 120 culinary MSMEs, the study found that the use of digital platforms such as GoFood and GrabFood significantly increased sales turnover. Furthermore, good digital literacy, namely the ability to use technology and understand sales data, also contributes significantly to business success. Marketing innovations, such as the use of social media to promote products, have proven effective in attracting new customers and retaining existing ones. The results show that MSMEs that actively adapt to digital technology and implement creative marketing strategies can significantly improve their business performance. These findings provide important insights for MSMEs in Makassar to capitalize on opportunities in the digital era for the sustainability of their businesses

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively analyze the role of financial literacy and financial inclusion on the financial performance of MSMEs in Indonesia through a literature review from various reputable national and international sources. The results show that good financial literacy encourages MSMEs to make more informed financial decisions, improve the quality of financial reports, and strengthen risk management capabilities. Meanwhile, financial inclusion expands MSMEs' access to capital, insurance, and digital payment services, thereby increasing business efficiency and competitiveness. However, challenges remain, particularly in the 3T (frontier and remote) regions, such as disparities in access, limited infrastructure, and a dominant cash transaction culture. Therefore, integrated policy interventions are needed in the form of contextual financial literacy education, strengthening the digital financial ecosystem, and improving infrastructure. This study is expected to serve as a reference for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers in formulating sustainable MSME empowerment strategies in the digital era

Abstract

One of the Community Service activities that can increase the purchasing value of raw materials is cassava which is processed into cendol ice. Processing this product can increase community income with a home industry business or commonly called a home business in processing sweet potatoes into cendol ice. The methods used in this activity include lectures, questions and answers or discussions, and training. Training and mentoring were carried out in Pangkajene District, Pangkajene and Kepulauan Regency for 2 weeks. The results obtained were (1) The training on processing cassava into cendol ice was well responded by the participants; (2) The high interest and motivation of the training participants greatly supported the transfer of knowledge and skills from the service providers to the training participants, so that the training materials provided could be absorbed by all; and (3) The training product of processing cassava into cendol ice can be consumed daily and can be used as a community entrepreneurial product.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and examine how the affective, continuance, and normative commitment of entrepreneurship in the development of MSMEs in the culinary sector. This research was conducted on micro, small and medium enterprises, precisely at the Mas Mud meatball stall located in Bontonompo sub-district, Gowa district. Qualitative research methods are used in this study. This study tries to provide a deeper understanding of the affective, continuance, and normative commitment of entrepreneurship in the development of SMEs. The study explores the important question of how the three components of commitment affect the development of MSMEs that are perceived differently by both owners and employees at the Mas Mud meatball stall. The findings of the study indicate that there is a contribution of affective, continuance, and normative commitment in their influence on entrepreneurs in developing their businesses. The encouragement of self-confidence in an entrepreneur makes him able and willing to change and develop all things and potential in his business

Abstract

Pengetahuan tentang kewirausahaan dan inovasi merupakan elemen krusial dalam penanggulangan pengangguran serta memotivasi generasi mahasiswa untuk berwirausaha. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengetahuan kewirausahaan dan inovasi terhadap motivasi berwirausaha di kalangan mahasiswa S1 program studi kewirausahaan Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Negeri Makassar. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode korelasional dengan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan penyebaran angket. Populasi penelitian ini terdiri dari 457 mahasiswa program kewirausahaan angkatan 2021-2023. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 76 mahasiswa yang telah mengikuti mata kuliah pengantar kewirausahaan. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan metode regresi linier berganda. Dalam penelitian ini, ditemukan bahwa pengetahuan tentang kewirausahaan dan inovasi memberikan dampak positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi berwirausaha mahasiswa. Dengan demikian, peningkatan pemahaman tentang kewirausahaan dan inovasi dapat meningkatkan potensi berwirausaha mahasiswa. Oleh karena itu, institusi pendidikan perlu menekankan program kewirausahaan.

Abstract

This article aims to make a handicraft product using bamboo as the main material, namely a miniature Phinisi ship which is made to be more familiar with Makassar culture and can have high economic selling value, it is hoped that it can be marketed and as a learning medium for the product, as well as helping the community consumptive by fulfilling the desire for unique items that are in demand by many groups. In this activity, the methods used include lectures, questions and answers or discussions, and training offers creativity by exploring innovative forms to make it more attractive and can be adapted to consumer needs with this product which is expected not only to be a medium for learning history but also to generate profits.

Abstract

Koperasi mahasiswa menjadi salah satu organisasi yang dapat membentuk mental entrepreneurship mahasiswa dalam menghadapi dunia kerja di masa depan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran koperasi mahasiswa dalam membentuk mental entrepreneurship mahasiswa, dengan studi kasus pada Koperasi Mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Makassar (UNM). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara via WhatsApp. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa koperasi mahasiswa UNM telah berhasil membentuk mental entrepreneurship mahasiswa melalui berbagai program dan kegiatan yang diselenggarakan, seperti pelatihan kewirausahaan, pemberian modal usaha, dan pengembangan jaringan bisnis. Selain itu, koperasi mahasiswa UNM juga berperan dalam memfasilitasi pengembangan produk dan pemasaran, serta membangun kolaborasi dengan lembaga lain untuk memperluas akses pasar sehingga koperasi mahasiswa dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif untuk membentuk mental entrepreneurship mahasiswa, juga mahasiswa dapat memiliki keterampilan dan sikap yang diperlukan dalam menghadapi dunia kerja yang semakin kompetitif.
