Abstract

Civic education is the subject that is very tight his connection with socialproblems. The problem that developed in the community when beingbrought to the classroom as the material instruction for the student,however difficult to be solved because abstract. Therefore the use of themedia really is needed in civic education learning. The teacher can use thesocial environment as the media in civic education learning. Using thesocial environment as the media instruction will make the teaching andlearning process more significant because the students are faced with thereal fact and condition naturally. There are some advantages that wereobtained from the activity studied the social environment in the teachingdan learning process, sttch as: the activity studied mort:? interesting anddid not bore, learned to be more significant, materials that were studiedmore rich and factual, the learning activity more comprehensive andactive, the studying source became richer, and the student moreunderstood and experienced aspects of the available life fully inenvironment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang upaya yang dilakukan guru Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) dalam mengintegrasikan pendidikan antikorupsi dalam pembelajaran PKn untuk menanamkan kejujuran dan kendala yang dihadapi guru untuk mengintegrasikan pendidikan antikorupsi dalam pembelajaran PKn. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dilakukan di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 8 Kota Yogyakarta dengan subjek penelitian guru pendidikan kewarganegaraan dan siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik induktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya yang dilakukan oleh guru PKn dalam mengintegrasikan pendidikan antikorupsi dalam pembelajaran PKn dengan cara menyisipkan nilai-nilai antikorupsi dalam materi pembelajaran yang relevan. Kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru PKn antara lain terkait dengan permasalahan waktu dan kesulitan dalam memilih metode pembelajaran yang tepat.Kata Kunci: Antikorupsi, Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan, Kejujuran

Abstract

Since the implementation of decentralization, the drastic changes of politic and governmental system has been occurred in Indonesia. One of those changes is the growing significant of legislature role. In autonomy of district era, legislature was growing to be powerful marked by the function of its role, as aspiration channel and executive controller. The empowerment of legislature role in autonomy era brings some problems, not only connected with legislature themselves but also with executive. The problem connected with legislature can be cited such as bad behaviors (manipulation of graduation, money politics, corruption, etc.). Those bad behaviors have been caused the degradation of DPRD image and decadency moral. Therefore, it is necessary to rebuild politic morality and to change the image of legislative members. In order to change the image of DPRD the things can be done are reformation and radical change of DPRD by all element of society. Besides that, it is necessary to review the relationship between DPRD and people. The members of DPRD should compromise their views as well as their own needs with the people's aspirations and needs.

Abstract

Learning media development have been a current issue in civic education. Involving to analyze indigenous Srimpi Pandelori dance based-android civic e-learning media effect aims to facilitate 4.0 era demand. Indeed, practicing 21st century skills focused on creative thinking skills. Research methodology uses a quantitative approach, a quasi-experimental study is used regarding to one group pretest posttest design. Creative thinking skills test conduct for pretest and posttest question consisting of ten multiple choice questions according to high order thinking skills criteria then checked for the Content Validity Index. To conclude, indigenous Srimpi Pandelori dance based-android media civic e-learning significantly influence students’ creative thinking skills on Pancasila values. In addition, it is able to improve students’ creative thinking skills on Pancasila values of 0.48 in medium category.

Abstract

Islamic boarding school (pesantren) is the oldest Islamic educational institution in Indonesia. Pesantren is recognized as one of the institutions that can encourage the realization of multiculturalism amongst Muslims. However, recently pesantren has been alleged to be one of the centers for the spread of religious radicalism. This study is aimed at analyzing multicultural education in salaf (traditional) pesantren, that is appropriate and be able to prevent the growth and development of religious radicalism in Indonesia. The study is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach involving four salaf pesantrens in Java; namely Al-Qadir Pesantren of Sleman Yogyakarta, Dar al-Tauhid of Cirebon, Roudlatuth Thalibin of Rembang, and Tebuireng of Jombang. The research data were collected by observation, interviews, documentation, and focus-group discussions (FGD). Data were analyzed using an interactive technique. Findings showed that the forms of multicultural education at the four salaf pesantrens generally have similarities in the application of multiculturalism core values. However, each pesantren has its own specific peculiarities. The various cultures built up by the four caregivers of the salaf pesantrens have been effective to prevent the growth and development of religious radicalism at the  pesantren, particularly, and in the society, more generally.

Abstract

This research aims at describing political thought of Ibnu Khaldun on ideal leader and its relevance to leadership in Indonesia. Through critical analysis, this research explores the formulation of types of ideal leader in Ibnu Khaldun’s thought. This is a descriptive qualitative research. The technique of data collection is documentation. The data analysis is conducted through deductive analytic technique. Inference technique through internal and external criticism is used to gain the credibility. The result of the research shows that the image of ideal leader in Khladun’s thought is like the leader described in letter of Thahir bin Husin addressed to his son, Abdullah bin Thahir after he was noted as a governor. The description consists of: a leader must be aware that God keep watching him, government must be smoothly  but firmly carried out with justice, an ideal leader must concern on five day prayers as they are manifestation of life and view of life, a leader should treat his job as God’s mandate, always obey Him, spend all expenses for the sake of the people’s wealth, work hard and the result is used for the people, informative and good networking, easy to meet by people, and the primary concern of a leader must be on the people. This description is still relevant to consider in selecting Indonesia leaders.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to describe the strengthening of student skills through the use of Schoology and Instagram in learning Pancasila in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic. The research design used was a case study qualitative research. Data collection tools in this study were interview guides, observation, and document study. The validity of the data in this study used triangulation of sources and techniques. The data analysis technique in this study is a flow model. The results showed that strengthening student skills including critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity was carried out through the use of Schoology and Instagram in learning in the Covid-19 pandemic era. Students are given stimulant cases for discussion through Schoology. In addition, students make works according to their own potential related to learning materials which are then uploaded via Instagram.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendekripsikan penguatan keterampilan mahasiswa melalui penggunaan Schoology dan Instagram dalam pembelajaran Pancasila di era pandemi Covid-19. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif studi kasus. Alat pengumpul data dalam penelitian ini adalah pedoman wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah model alir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penguatan keterampilan mahasiswa meliputi kemampuan berpikir kritis, komunikasi, kolaborasi, dan kreativitas dilakukan melalui penggunaan Schoology dan Instagram dalam pembelajaran di era pandemi Covid-19. Mahasiswa diberikan stimulan kasus-kasus untuk berdiskusi melalui Schoology. Selain itu, mahasiswa membuat karya sesuai dengan potensi diri yang terkait materi pembelajaran kemudian diunggah melalui Instagram.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan: (1) Modul pembelajaran pendidikan antikorupsi sebagai sumber belajar yang layak untuk peserta didik SMA kelas X, (2) Modul pendidikan antikorupsi yang efektif pada hasil belajar peserta didik di SMA, (3) Modul pendidikan antikorupsi yang efektif pada sikap antikorupsi peserta didik di kelas X. Penelitian ini merupakan model penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) dihasilkan modul pendidikan antikorupsi yang layak sebagai sumber belajar pada mata pelajaran PPKn kelas X; (2) modul pendidikan antikorupsi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik di SMA. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan perolehan gain score dan meningkatnya nilai mean; (3) modul pendidikan antikorupsi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan sikap antikorupsi peserta didik di SMA. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan perolehan gain score dan meningkatnya skor mean.Kata kunci: modul, pendidikan antikorupsi, pendidikan pancasila dan kewarganegaraan DEVELOPING ANTI-CORRUPTION EDUCATION MODULE IN THE SUBJECT OF PANCASILA AND CIVICS EDUCATION OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS GRADE XAbstractThis research aims to produce: (1) anti-corruption education learning modules for high school students grade X, (2) anti-corruption education modules that effectively improve the learning outcomes of students in high school, and (3) anti-corruption education modules that effectively improve the anti-corruption learners in grade X. This research model is research and development (RD) based. The following conclusions were drawn from the research results: (1) The development results in anti-corruption education modules in subjects Pancasila  and Civics Education in grade X, (2) anti-corruption education modules are affective to improve learning outcomes of students in high school as evidenced by the acquisition gain score and an increase in the mean value, (3) anti-corruption education modules are affeetive to improve the anti-corruption attitudes of high school students. This is evidenced by the acquisition gain score and an increase in the mean score.Keywords: module, anti-corruption education, pancasila  and civics education

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap peran PKn sebagai pendidikan politik untuk: (1) membangun sikap demokratis siswa (2) membangun partisipasi siswa dalam organisasi (3) mengetahui hambatan dalam membangun sikap demokratis dan partisipasi siswa dan (4) upaya untuk mengatasi hambatan dalam membangun sikap demokratis dan partisipasi siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, serta dokumentasi. Analisis data mengunakan model analisis interaktif oleh (Miles and Hubermen) dengan langkah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut. (1) Membangun sikap demokratis siswa melalui sikap interaktif guru di kelas, pemberian materi PKn pada pertemuan dikelas menggunakan metode pembelajaran seperti diskusi kelompok (2) Membangun partisipasi siswa dilakukan melalui pembelajaran dikelas. Sikap interaktif guru PKn dalam proses pembelajaran mendorong siswa ikut berpartisipasi mengeluarkan pendapatnya, dukungan sekolah melalui kegiatan forum diskusi sangat membantu siswa dalam berfikir dan bersikap aktif (3) Hambatan terjadi karena adanya faktor lingkungan sekitar yang kurang baik membawa dampak negatif bagi siswa, adanya rasa malas. (4) Upaya dengan mengupayakan pembelajaran yang menarik untuk siswa, memberikan motivasi agar mampu mengambil setiap keputusan, serta mengontrol tingkah laku siswa melalui kerjasama antara guru dan orang tua.Kata kunci: pendidikan kewarganegaraan, pendidikan politik, sikap demokratis, partisipasi, organisasi kesiswaan THE ROLE OF CIVIC EDUCATION AS A POLITICAL EDUCATION TO BUILD STUDENTS’ DEMOCRATIC ATTITUDE AND PARTICIPATION IN STUDENT ORGANIZATION AT SMAAbstractThis research aims to reveal the role of civic education as political education to: (1) build students’ democratic attitude, (2) build students’ participation in organization (3) find out the obstacles in building students’ democratic attitude and students’ participation, and (4) attempt to overcome the obstacles in building students’ democratic attitude and students’ participation. The data of the research were collected by interviewing, observing and documenting. An interactive analysis model by (Miles and Hubermen) was used to analyze the data, with steps of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the research are as follows.  (1) the building students' democratic attitude through interactive teacher in class, the civic education materials were given in class by using learning methods like group discussion (2) the building students' participation was done by learning in class. Interactive  civic education teacher in learning process encourage the students to join the participation to give their opinions, the school support through forum discussion activity is very helpful for students in thinking and active (3) the obstacles happen because of the bad environment factor that brings negative impact to the students, the laziness. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap: (1) keterampilan berpikir kritis dan (2) hasil belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan di SMA Negeri 3 Lumajang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experiment. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah observasi dan tes. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian, adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan di SMA Negeri 3 Lumajang pada Kompetensi Dasar menganalisis indikator ancaman terhadap negara dalam membangun integrasi nasional dengan Bhineka Tunggal Ika. (2) There is a significant effect of inquiry model on the learning outcomes in learning civic education of the students of SMA Negeri 3 Lumajang on basic the competence “analyze indicators of threats to the country in building national integration with unity in diversity”.Keywords: inquiry, critical thinking skills, outcomes
