Abstract

The implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) requires pedagogical strategies and guidance services capable of developing students’ character in a systematic and contextually grounded manner. However, students at SMAN 23 Makassar demonstrate complex developmental dynamics, ranging from academic demands and involvement in school organizations to varying abilities in managing their roles within project-based learning. These conditions necessitate a more structured support approach to help students consistently internalize P5 values. This community engagement program applies the Structured Learning Approach (SLA) within classroom guidance services as a strategic intervention to enhance student character in alignment with the Pancasila Student Profile. The implementation method comprises five stages: needs identification, development of guidance materials, integration of P5 values into SLA sessions, implementation of classroom guidance, and evaluation and follow-up. The procedural activities include modeling, role-playing, group discussions, feedback provision, and transfer of training to ensure that students can effectively practice social–emotional skills within the context of P5 projects. The results indicate improvements in students’ assertive communication, collaboration skills, decision-making abilities, and awareness of the values of cooperation, independence, and critical thinking. The school counselor also reported that SLA offers a more systematic and applicable service framework for counseling practice. Overall, this program demonstrates that integrating SLA into classroom guidance effectively strengthens student character and supports the successful implementation of P5 projects at SMAN 23 Makassar. This service model holds potential for sustainable adoption as part of the school’s long-term character development initiatives.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology requires students to possess adequate digital literacy skills to support learning processes that are increasingly integrated with digital media. However, preliminary observations at SMAN 23 Makassar indicate that students’ abilities in utilizing learning applications, managing information, and comprehending digital content remain varied, thus necessitating a more targeted intervention. This community service program aims to enhance students’ digital literacy through a workshop on the use of digital learning applications, specifically Powtoon and Prezi. The implementation method adopts an interactive workshop approach consisting of socialization, technical training, technology application in learning activities, as well as mentoring and evaluation. During the socialization phase, students were provided with an understanding of the urgency of digital literacy in addressing contemporary learning challenges. The training phase offered opportunities for students to become familiar with the basic features of the applications and to develop technical skills through hands-on practice. Implementation results demonstrate an improvement in students’ abilities to create visual summaries, present conceptual understanding, and manage digital content more systematically. Subsequent mentoring further revealed that students became increasingly motivated, adaptive, and confident in utilizing technology as part of their learning strategies. These findings align with previous studies asserting that digital literacy training can enhance students’ critical thinking, creativity, and active participation in digital learning environments. Thus, the workshop proved effective in strengthening the technical, cognitive, and motivational dimensions of students’ digital literacy, contributing significantly to their preparedness in navigating the dynamics of learning in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the need assessment of psychological adjustment among female inmates at the Women’s Penitentiary in “X” Regency. The research background highlights the psychological vulnerability of female inmates who often experience emotional distress due to loss of freedom, limited social interaction, and negative societal stigma. This study used is descriptive qualitative with data sources in the form of needs assessment results, interviews, and field observations. The analysis revealed that 70% of inmates experienced stress due to a new and restrictive environment, 80% felt pressured by social stigma, and 70% were anxious about being rejected by society after release. These findings indicate a high level for strengthening psychological adjustment, particularly in managing stress, developing self-acceptance, and enhancing social support. The study underscores the importance of establishing community-based counseling services to promote psychological well-being and facilitate social reintegration for female inmates. This study provides context-specific evidence for designing community-based counseling interventions in female correctional institutions, which has received limited empirical attention in Indonesia.

Abstract

Kata Kunci: work-life balance, work–family enrichment, adaptasi skala, guru BK, psikometri.

Abstract

This study explores the psychological dynamics underlying dishonest behavior among Islamic boarding school students (santri) and the handling strategies applied within the Sultan Hasanuddin Islamic Boarding School environment. The research aims to (1) describe the forms of dishonesty exhibited by a student identified as GR, (2) identify both internal and external factors contributing to such behavior, and (3) explain the counseling interventions implemented to modify the dishonest tendencies. This study employs a qualitative approach with a clinical case study design. The research subject is a student who frequently engages in deceptive behavior in various school contexts. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, structured observations, and documentation analysis, then processed through data reduction, presentation, and interpretative conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that GR’s dishonesty appears in lying to teachers, manipulating information to avoid punishment, and concealing mistakes when reprimanded. Internal factors include excessive anxiety about sanctions, feelings of shame and inferiority, and cognitive distortions perceiving honesty as a threat. External factors consist of the strict boarding school regulations, high expectations from supervisors, and peer influence encouraging concealment of mistakes. The intervention applied was counseling based on the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach using the cognitive restructuring technique. The intervention focused on building a counselor-client relationship, exploring the motives behind lies, practicing gradual behavioral changes, and conducting continuous evaluations. The results indicate increased self-awareness, greater courage to be honest despite risks, and a strengthened commitment to reducing dishonesty as a maladaptive self-protection mechanism.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a transdisciplinary model of entrepreneurial competence and career development based on bibliometric analysis and the integration of cross-disciplinary theories. The research is grounded in the demands of the digital economy era, which requires entrepreneurial competence that is not only technical in nature, but also encompasses career readiness, psychological resilience, and digital competence. A mixed-method approach was employed, combining bibliometric analysis and conceptual study. Data were obtained from international journal databases (2018–2025) and analyzed using VOSviewer to produce network visualizations, overlay visualizations, and density maps. Of the 2,087 identified publications, 253 articles met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed further. The results reveal several main clusters, including entrepreneurial education, entrepreneurial competence, attitude, digital competence, growth mindset, resilience, and career readiness, all of which are interrelated. Another important finding is the role of digital competence as a bridge between entrepreneurship education, core competence, and career readiness. This study produces a transdisciplinary model that integrates educational, psychological, technological, social, and career dimensions, and provides implications for the development of more adaptive entrepreneurship education curricula and policies in the digital era

Abstract

Ego identity plays a crucial role in shaping an individual’s self-concept, career decisions, and social relationships. Accurately measuring ego identity status is essential for understanding identity formation and promoting healthy psychological development. This study examines the validity and reliability of the adapted Objective Measure of Ego Identity Status (OMEIS) using the Rasch Model, a contemporary psychometric approach that enhances measurement precision. A sample of 431 university students participated in this study, with data collected through an online questionnaire. Rasch analysis was employed to assess item fit, rating scale effectiveness, person reliability, and item difficulty levels. The results indicate that the adapted OMEIS demonstrates strong structural validity and high item reliability (0.99), although person reliability (0.63) requires improvement. The Wright Map analysis confirms the instrument’s ability to capture variations in ego identity, while item difficulty analysis highlights areas for potential refinement. Findings suggest that the Rasch Model provides a robust framework for validating psychological instruments, ensuring their applicability across diverse populations. This study contributes to the refinement of identity measurement tools and underscores the importance of advanced psychometric methodologies in psychological research
