Abstract

This study aimed to determine the validity level of powerpoint interactive multimedia in integrated thematic learning for class V elementary school. This study used the Research and Development (R&D) method. The results showed that powerpoint interactive multimedia in integrated thematic learning was stated to be very valid with the assessment of material experts 84.54%, 89.5% linguists, and media experts 81.67% with an overall validator average score of 85.23% with category “very valid”. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that powerpoint interactive multimedia in integrated thematic learning for class V elementary school “very valid” is used in the learning process.

Abstract

Abstract: Bruner's theory emphasizes that students learn through active engagement with concepts and principles in solving problems and teachers serve as motivators for students to gain experience that allows them to find and solve problems, in line with higher-order thinking which is the cognitive ability of learners at a higher level, that is, learners are able to combine facts and ideas in the process of analyzing, Evaluate to the stage of making an assessment of a fact learned. HOTS is a thought process of students at a higher cognitive level, namely problem-solving ability, creative thinking ability, critical thinking, argument ability, and decision-making ability. This research uses a literature study method with the aim of analyzing Bruner's theory in high-level thinking learning in elementary schools. Abstract

Abstract: The teacher-centered learning process forms a monotonous teaching and learning process, and low student mathematics learning outcomes. Educators must use innovative and creative learning models to improve student learning outcomes. Discovery Learning learning model is a learning model that forms active students in finding, solving a problem. In its application, students are asked to be able to discover mathematical principles and concepts through independent learning processes. This research uses a quantitative approach (Quantitative Approach). The research design was a pretest-posttest control group design. This research was conducted on fifth grade students at SD Negeri 13 Simpang Haru, which is located in the East Padang District, Padang City, West Sumatra. Data analysis techniques are in the form of descriptive analysis techniques consisting of prerequisite tests in the form of normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing using different tests or T-tests (T-Test). The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence in the application of the Discovery Learning model compared to the direct teaching model on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 13 Simpang Haru, Padang City (p<0.05). Abstract

The low mathematics learning outcomes of elementary school students is a problem in the implementation of the independent learning curriculum. The assumption of the difficulty of mathematics in students' thinking, the monotony of the learning process and the lack of teacher innovation and creativity are the main factors in the low learning outcomes. One interesting learning theory to apply in learning mathematics is operant conditioning learning theory, this theory focuses on changes in student behavior and is effective for application to children in elementary schools. This research uses a quantitative approach (Quantitative Approach). The research design was a pretest-posttest control group design. This research was conducted on fifth grade students at SD Negeri 20 Indarung which is located in the Lubuk Kilangan District, Padang City, West Sumatra. Data analysis techniques are in the form of descriptive analysis techniques consisting of prerequisite tests in the form of normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing using different tests or T-tests (T-Test). The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence in the application of the operant conditioning model compared to the direct teaching model on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 20 Indarung Kota Padang (p<0.05). Abstract

Due to the importance of attractive learning materials in achieving a qualified learning results, it needs to carry on the development of the materials. The aim of this research is to develop science teaching materials using problem-based-learning model for primary school students. The developed  teaching materials should strengthen the students' knowledge and thinking skills. This research and development refers to Thiagarajan model, consisting of defining, designing, developing, and dessiminating stage. The defining stage is conducted to have curriculum analysis, needs analysis, concept analysis and student analysis. At the designing stage, the researchers design the teaching materials. At the next stage, the proposed teaching materials are tested in terms of validity and practicality through validation sheet and questionnaire response of teachers and students. At the dessiminating stage,  the researchers conduct a limited-scale deployment to notify the effectiveness of teaching materials on the achievement of activities and student learning outcomes. As the result, it indicates that the problem-based-teaching materials obtain high validity, practicality, and effectiveness.

Abstract

A legitimate, useful, and productive theme learning teaching resource for the autonomous curriculum is what this research aims to provide. Utilizing the flipbook maker software from Kvisoft, this instructional material was created. Research and development (R&D) is the research methodology employed in this study. In this study, researchers used the ADDIE approach, which stands for analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Students in class IV of Elemntary School 03 Limo Badak, Malalak District, during the odd semester of 2022/2023 served as the study's test subjects. Validity analysis, practicality analysis, and analysis of the efficacy of instructional materials are the three types of data analysis that are used. Three conclusions can be drawn from the findings of the research and debate that have been done. The Kvisoft Flipbook Maker application can be used to create valid and usable educational materials in the form of e-books. Second, this instructional material proved to be useful and appropriate for usage in a good category. Third, the knowledge competency of elementary school pupils in the fourth grade can be effectively increased by using these instructional resources.

Abstract

The goal of this project is to create an electronic module, or E-Module, for third grade elementary school kids that is designed using the Book Creator application and integrated with a STEM learning strategy. Development research, also referred to as Research and Development (R&D) employing the ADDIE paradigm, is this kind of study. The subjects of this study are instrument validators, expert validators (material experts, linguists and media experts) and students in class III SDN 07 Kampung Jawa II, students in class III SDN 04 Rawang and students in class III SDN 17 Kampung Baru. The research instrument consisted of validation sheets, questionnaires and test instruments. The data analysis technique used is validity analysis and practicality analysis. The results of the validity by media experts are 91, 68% with very valid qualifications. The results of the validity of the linguists are equal to 88.95% with valid qualifications. The results of the validity of the media experts are equal to 90.41% with very valid qualifications. The percentage of the teacher's score for product feasibility is 92.06%, which is included in the very practical category. The practicality test percentage of students is 90.31%, which is included in the very practical category. Thus, this research succeeded in producing a STEM-based E-module to improve the scientific literacy skills of elementary school students.

Abstract

Nowadays the teachers have not utilized the use of IT-based media in the learning process, so students feel less motivated in the learning process and make students less understand the material delivered by the teacher. This research aims to develop learning multimedia based on Adobe Flash software that is valid, practical and effective for improve student learning outcomes. The subjects of this study consisted of media experts, material experts, linguists, teachers and fifth grade students at several schools. This type of research is Research and Development (research and development). This research uses the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The data obtained will be analyze using descriptive percentages and qualitative data. Data collection in the study used a scale 5 questionnaire to determine the level of validity, practicality, and student learning motivation as well as to determine student learning outcomes by means of pretest and post-test using objective questions. The results showed that the development of multimedia learning using Adobe Flash software was declared valid for use in class V elementary school. Learning multimedia based on Adobe Flash software is also effective in improving student learning outcomes. This can be seen from the results of the pretest and post-test comparisons. Thus, learning multimedia using Adobe Flash is valid, practical and effective and suitable for use in the learning process in class V of elementary school.

Abstract

Integrated thematic learning is learning that can combine existing concepts in learning. In learning in elementary schools there are several obstacles in the teacher's understanding regarding the appropriate and various learning models used. As a result, learning becomes less interesting, students have difficulty understanding the material, learning outcomes are low, and learning has no meaning for students. Teachers' lack of understanding of appropriate and varied learning models in the learning process is the main problem at this time. One learning model that can be applied to overcome this problem is the learning modelconnectedThe method used in this research is library research, where data collection is carried out by collecting some research on the implementation of learning models.connected in integrated thematic learning. From some of the research that has been collected, it can be concluded that there is a significant increase in student learning outcomes by applying or implementing learning modelsconnected in learning especially in integrated thematic learning. This is due to the learning modelconnected it integrates various fields of science so that it makes it easier for students to understand the objectives and learning materials. Understanding the learning modelconnected must be understood by every teacher because it is one of the reference learning models in integrated thematic learning.

Abstract

Thematic learning in elementary schools aims to improve and improve the quality of education. The implementation of integrated thematic learning encounters various problems such as low student interest and attention, unattractive learning and teacher's lack of understanding of appropriate and varied learning models in the learning process. One learning model that can be used as a solution to overcome this problem is the sequenced learning model. The method used in this research is literature research (library research). The implementation of the sequenced learning model in various studies shows that there is a significant increase in student learning outcomes. The application of the sequenced model is oriented in a way that several topics from a subject are combined and sequenced so that they are connected to one another, this certainly makes learning more interesting and increases student enthusiasm in the learning process. An understanding of the sequenced learning model must be understood by every teacher because it is a one of the reference learning models in integrated thematic learning
