Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the effectiveness of learning to present the creative ideas in the form of narrative text using direct instruction models and ARIAS models based on learning styles of students of class VII junior high school. So far, the learning process of writing is still theoretical, emphasizing aspects of knowledge and understanding only, the teacher in using the learning model is still less than optimal, while the aspect of practice has not gotten the teacher's attention. The results of this research can prove the effectiveness of the use of direct instruction models and ARIAS models for students who are visual and auditory learning styles so that their learning outcomes are optimal. The method used in this research is quasi-experimental. Research data collection techniques using test instruments of narrative text writing skills, learning style tests, and observations. Normality test using Kolmogorov Smirnov test on SPSS 16 program, a test of Levene test homogeneity, and hypothesis testing with 2x2 variant analysis. The conclusions of the results of this research are (1) the use of direct instruction models is more effective for students who have an auditory learning style and the use of the ARIAS model is more effective for students who have a visual learning style, (2) narrative text writing skills of students who have auditory learning styles are different from students' narrative text writing skills who have a visual learning style, (3) learning models and learning styles of students influence the writing skills of narrative text of VII grade junior high school students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan efektivitas model Role Playing dan model Paired Storytelling terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar IPS siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian komperasi, dengan desain Pretest-Posttest Comparations Group Design. Sampel penelitian dipilih dengan teknik Random sampling. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SDN Sambirejo 01 yang berjumlah 60 siswa, yang di random dibagi menjadi dua kelas yaitu kelas 30 siswa kelas eksperimen dengan model Role Playing dan 30 siswa kelas kontrol dengan model Paired Storytelling. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan instrumen tes berbentuk pilihan ganda, dan instrumen non tes berupa wawancara tidak terstruktur, observasi, jurnal dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis observasi aktivitas siswa kelas eksperimen pada setiap aspek aktivitas yang diamati menunjukkan adanya selisih persentase rata-rata skor yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol yaitu pada aspek listening activities terdapat selisih 40%, aspek visual activities selisih 23,3%, aspek oral activities 20%, aspek writing activities 6,3%, aspek mental activities 10%, aspek emotional activities 26,6%, aspek motor activities 33,4% dan aspek drawing activities 43,4%. Sedangkan hasil tes hasil belajar menunjukkan rata-rata ketuntasan klasikal pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 96,67%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Role Playing lebih efektif meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar IPS pada siswa SD dibandingkan model Paired Storytelling.The objective of this study is to find out the differences in the effectiveness of Role Playing and Paired Storytelling model towards the activities and achievement of social subject of elementary school students. This study was comparations study, with pretest-posttest design Comparations Group Design. Samples were choosen by random sampling technique. The samples were students of V (Fifth) graders of 01 State Elementary School Sambirejo, there were 60 students, who were divided randomly into two classes: 30 students as experiments class taught by Role Playing model and 30 students as control class taught by Paired Storytelling model. Data collection was conducted with multiple choice test instruments, and non-test instruments, in the form of unstructured interviews, observations, journals and documentation. The results of the study showed that the experimental class was better in improving students’ activity and achievement than control class. Based on observation analysis result, students’ activity in the experimental class in every observed activity aspect showed the difference percentage of the average score, experimental class was better than control class, the aspect was in difference of listening activities of 40%, the difference aspects of visual activities of 23.3%, oral activities aspect of  20%, writing activities aspects of 6.3%, mental activities aspects of 10%, emotional activities aspects of 26.6%, motor activities aspects of 33.4% and drawing activities aspects of 43.4%. While, the achievement test results showed an average of the experimental class in classical studt completeness of 96.67%. Based on the result of those study, it can be concluded that the implementation of Role Playing Model is more effective than Paired Storytelling in improving activity and achievement of Social Study of Elementary School Students.

Abstract

Pembelajaran menulis deskriptif yang dilakukan belum mengoptimalkan panca indera dan menggunakan media video. Guru sering hanya menggunakan media gambar pada proses pembelajarn. Oleh sebab itu diperlukan pembelajaran menulis deskriptif yang dapat mengoptimalkan potensi siswa yaitu menggunakan SAVI. Rumusan masalah adalah bagaimana hasil analisis kebutuhan, prototipe, uji validitas dan efektivitas mengenai perangkat pembelajaran menulis deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Research and Development (R&D) sesuai pendapat Borg dan Gall. Penelitian dilakukan pada tiga kelas yaitu kelas uji coba untuk memperoleh data awal dalam pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran menulis deskriptif dengan pendekatan SAVI berbantuan video. Kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol untuk membandingkan apakah perangkat yang dikembangkan valid dan efektif. Hasil analisis kebutuhan berasal dari empat SD yaitu SD N Wonosari 03, SD N Karang ayu 02,  SD N Kuningan 01, dan SD N Sadeng 03 menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 87% guru sangat membutuhkan perangkat menulis deskriptif. Prototipe yang dikembangkan berupa silabus, RPP, LKPD, video pembelajaran, soal tes dan buku petunjuk guru. Hasil validasi perangkat pembelajaran menunjukan skor akhir (Sa) ≥ 3,25 dengan kriteria valid dan baik sekali. Skor keefektifan pembelajaran diperoleh dari nilai ketuntasan klasikal sudah melebihi (Tk) ≥ 75 % peserta didik yaitu 81 % (30 dari 37 peserta didik), nilai rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen sebesar 80,27 serta 21 siswa dinyatakan sangat aktif dan 16 siswa. Hasil pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran dapat disimpulkan valid dan efektif. Perlu adanya penyesuaian terhadap kurikulum yang terbaru.Learning to write descriptive do not optimize the use of the senses and video media. Teachers only using media images in the learning process. Therefore it is necessary to write a descriptive study to optimize the potential of the students are using the SAVI. The formulation of the problem is how the results of requirements analysis, prototyping, test the validity and effectiveness of the learning device descriptive writing. This study uses a model of Research and Development (R & D) in accordance with the opinion Borg & Gall. The study was conducted in three classes, namely class tests to obtain preliminary data on the development of learning to write descriptive video-assisted SAVI. Experimental class and control class to compare whether a device developed valid and effective. The results of the needs analysis results from four elementary School SD N Wonosari 03, SD N Karang Ayu 02, SD N Kuningan 01, dan SD N Sadeng 03 shows the average value of 87% of teachers in dire need of descriptive writing devices. The prototype developed in the form of a syllabus, lesson plans, LKPD, instructional video, test questions and guide teachers. Learning device validation results showed the final score (Sa) ≥ 3.25 with valid criteria and splendidly. Scores obtained from the learning effectiveness of classical completeness value has exceeded (Tk) ≥ 75% of learners is 81% (30 of 37 students), the average value of the results of experimental class learning at 80.27, and 21 students expressed very active and 16 students. The result of the development of learning tools can be inferred valid and effective. Necessary adjustments to the latest curriculum.

Abstract

Masalah yang diangkat pada penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan menulis siswa kelas VIII-F MTS Negeri Kesesi Kabupaten Pekalongan. Hal ini disebabkan oleh pembelajaran menulis puisi yang belum terlaksana dengan baik sehingga siswa kelas VIII-F mengalami kesulitan ketika diminta menulis puisi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi pembelajaran dan media pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan tepat. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut digunakan strategi Pikir Plus dan media gambar peristiwa yang terdapat dalam surat kabar dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi siswa kelas VIII-F MTS Negeri Kesesi. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya proses pembelajaran, peningkatan, dan perubahan perilaku ke arah yang positif.The issues raised in this study is the low ability students' writing class VIII-F MTS Affairs Kesesi Pekalongan. It is caused by learning to write poetry that has not done well so class VIII-F have difficulty when asked to write a poem. Therefore, the necessary learning strategies and instructional media fun and appropriate. To overcome these problems Plus used Thought strategies and media images of events contained in the newspaper in teaching poetry writing class VIII-F MTS Kesesi Affairs. The research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation and reflection. The results of this study indicate the existence of a process of learning, improvement, and change behavior in a positive direction.

Abstract

Masalah yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah proses pembelajaran, peningkatan, dan perubahan perilaku setelah mengikuti pembelajaran menulis puisi melalui metode copy the master dengan bantuan VCD berbasis pendidikan karakter. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilakukan dua siklus. Hasil siklus I memperoleh nilai rata-rata 63,83 dan siklus II memperoleh nilai rata-rata 81. Jadi, ada peningkatan sebesar 21,20%. Peningkatan ini juga diikuti dengan perubahan perilaku siswa dari perilaku negatif ke perilaku positif.The issues raised in this research is the process of learning, improvement, and behavioral changes after following through the methods of learning to write poetry with the help of a copy the master of the VCD-based character education. The design of this study used classroom action research (CAR). The research was carried out two cycles. The results of the first cycle to obtain the average value of 63.83 and a second cycle to obtain the average value of 81. Thus, there is an increase of 21.20%. The increase was also accompanied by changes in the behavior of students from negative behavior into positive behavior.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) struktur, jenis, makna tekstual dan kontekstual teks anekdot bermuatan karakter dan kearifan lokal; (2) anekdot sebagai media penyampai komunikasi bermuatan karakter dan kearifan lokal; dan (3) kelayakan teks anekdot bermuatan karakter dan kearifan lokal sebagai bahan ajar bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian berupa teks anekdot yang bermuatan karakter dan kearifan lokal yang sudah divalidasi ahli sejumlah 111 teks anekdot. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) teks anekdot bermuatan karakter berjumlah 75 dengan rincian bermuatan nilai spiritual keagamaan (10), pengendalian diri, kepribadian, dan akhlak mulia (6), kecerdasan (45), dan nilai keterampilan bermasyarakat (14). Sedangkan nilai kearifan lokal berjumlah 36 teks meliputi nilai rasa belas kasih (14), bijaksana (6), pribadi yang tangguh (8), rendah hati (3), dan pandai bergaul (5). Makna kontekstual teks anekdot bermuatan karakter dan kearifan lokal meliputi situasi, peristiwa, tindak tutur, dan fungsi tuturan yang mencerminkan karakter dan kearifan lokal masyarakat Indonesia; (3) Anekdot sangat tepat digunakan dalam penyampaian karakter dan kearifan lokal karena rasa humor yang disukai siswa dan mudah diterima siswa, nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam teks, dan cerita tokoh-tokoh terkenal; serta (4) 111 teks anekdot hasil penelitian layak dijadikan bahan ajar Bahasa Indonesia di SMA.   Kata kunci: teks anekdot, karakter, kearifan lokal, bahan ajar, bahasa Indonesia SMA   ABSTRACT This study aims to describe (1) the textual, contextual, textual and contextual text of anecdotal text containing character and local wisdom; (2) anecdotes as a communicator medium containing character and local wisdom; and (3) the appropriateness of anecdotal text is loaded with character and local wisdom as Indonesian language teaching material in high school. This research type is qualitative descriptive. The research data in the form of anecdotal text that has character and local wisdom that has been validated by a number of 111 anecdotes experts. The results of this study are (1) anecdotal text containing 75 characters of character with details of spiritual spiritual values ​​(10), self-control, personality, and noble character (6), intelligence (45), and societal skills score (14). While the value of local wisdom amounted to 36 texts including the value of compassion (14), wise (6), a strong person (8), humble (3), and sociable (5). Contextual meaning of anecdotal text containing character and local wisdom includes situations, events, speech acts, and speech functions that reflect the character and local wisdom of the Indonesian people; (3) Anecdotes are aptly used in the delivery of character and local wisdom because of the humor that students love and are easily accepted by students, the values ​​contained in the text, and the stories of famous personalities; and (4) 111 anecdotal texts of research result worthy of being used as teaching material of Indonesian language in SMA.   Keywords: anecdotal text, character, local wisdom, teaching materials, Indonesian high school

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kualitas pembelajaran menulis puisi siswa kelas VIII D SMP Negeri 2 Magelang menggunakan teknik kata mengalir dengan media sticky notes, mendeskripsikan peningkatan keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas VIII D SMP Negeri 2 Magelang menggunakan teknik kata mengalir dengan media sticky notes, dan mendeskripsikan perubahan tingkah laku siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Siklus I nilai rata-rata kelas 74,75 dan siklus II 82,2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan menulis puisi (tes) dan perubahan tingkah laku siswa ke arah positif (nontes). Kata Kunci     : Peningkatan, Keterampilan Menulis Puisi, Teknik Kata Mengalir, Media Sticky Notes   ABSTRACT             The purpose of this study is to describe the quality of learning to write poetry on the students of grade VIII D of Junior High School 2 Magelang using flowing word technique with sticky notes media, describe the increase of student’s poetry writing skill by using flowing word technique with sticky notes media, and describe the change of student’s behavior. This study was conducted through two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Cycle I the average of class is 74,75 and cycle II is 82.2. The results of the study showed an increase in writing poetry (tests) and changes in student behavior toward positive (nontest). Abstract

The novel by Dyan Nuranindya namely Dealova, Rahasia Bintang and Tetralogy "Kosan Soda," namely Canting Cantiq, Cinderella Rambut Pink, Rock N Roll Onthel and Kotak Pelangi. Teenlit by Dyan Nuranindya explains that experiences with friends have an important role in the lives of teenagers. In Teenlit, it is illustrated that every teenager has a friend who always supports positive things from the main character so that the main character can reach his goals. The study aimed to describe the values ​​of friendship in teenlit by Dyan Nuranindya. The method used in this study is descriptive analysis and dialectical, which is also part of the approach to the theory of tetralogy structuralism. The results of this study are the value of friendship in teenlit Dyan Nuranindya, which includes trust, empathy, honesty, confidentiality, and togetherness. The value of friendship can be used as a reference in assessing the value of friendship in teenlit by Dyan Nuranindya. This research is useful to add to the wealth of research and develop related knowledge in the field of literature, especially the relation with teenlit.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan ungkapan bijak Abah Syekh Saiful Anwar Zuhri Rosyid Pondok Pesantren Assalafiyah Az-Zuhri Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan teoretis dan pendekatan metodologis. Data penelitian ini adalah kumpulan SMS Abah Syekh Saiful Anwar Zuhri Rosyid. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif berdasarkan dengan teori dari Teun A. Van Dijk. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan 1) Satuan bahasa yang digunakan dalam ungkapan bijak Abah Syekh Saiful Anwar Zuhri Rosyid, meliputi satuan bahasa klausa, kalimat dan paragraf; 2) Pengemasan ungkapan bijak Abah Syekh Saiful Anwar Zuhri Rosyid meliputi pengemasan yang tersurat dan tersirat; serta 3) Pemikiran Abah Syekh Saiful Anwar Zuhri Rosyid dalam Ungkapan Bijak, meliputi pemikiran mengenai hablumminaallah dan hablumminannas.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk transformasi makna simbolik mihrab dalam novel dan filmDalam Mihrab Cinta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan ekranisasi dan Semiotik Riffaterre. Terdapat perbedaan pada hasil pemaknaan simbolik mihrab antara novel dan film karena fokus cerita yang juga berbeda, meski keduanya bermuara pada makna yang sama. Hasil transformasi menimbulkan adanya penciutan, penambahan dan perubahan bervariasi. Makna simbolik mihrab pada novel dan film diartikan sebagai pejalanan pencarian jati diri Syamsul untuk menjadi orang yang ditakdirkan baik oleh Allah, dengan mendekatkan diri kepada-Nya.
