Abstract

Abstract: Social networking Web sites are nowadays considered the most popular Web sites on the Internet. Moreover, they appear to be an increasingly useful tool for human resource management professionals to advertise job openings and seek information about job seekers in an efficient and cost-effective way. The aim of this study is to analyze impact of Social Networking Sites (SNW’s) on Job Seekers in Manado. To achieve these objectives the researcher got information from 10 respondents using qualitative study which is in-depth interview and uses purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The results showed that Social Networking Sites (SNW’s) gives a positive impact to all the respondent Social Networking Sites (SNW’s) become an important role for all the job seekers because Social Networking Sites’s is very easy to use, very understandable and also there are a lot of information about job recruitment, job application, the job seekers can see all the company or the instituion that has open the recruitment. The recommendation for the next Job Seekers that will use Social Networking Sites, it wil be more complete if all the Job seekers explore and more about all the positive impact, because nowadays Internet become an important role for the job seekers as an alternative way to find a job. Keywords: social networking sites, job seekers

Abstract

Marketing Communication becomes increasingly necessary in today?s competitive environment. In their effort to introduce a product to public, company should provide trusted information about the product so it can attract public attention. Marketing communication becomes important for PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Manado Utara Branch to think seriously about how they can compete effectively with other financial institutions that provide gold metal product. This research is using associative method with multiple regression analysis technique. Questionnaires are distributed to 100 respondents who are the consumers on gold metal. This study found that marketing communication influence on consumer purchase intention simultaneously, while advertising has negative significant and other variables positively significant influence on consumer purchase intention partially, where personal selling is the most dominant variable. Author has recommended that the head of PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Manado Utara Branch need to extensively and widely advertise the gold metal?s information through prints media and electronics, because the more people watch, listen, and read the advertisement, the more it will increase consumer purchase intention.   Keywords: marketing communication, advertising, sales promotion, consumer purchase intention.

Abstract

Abstract: The students of IBA are educated and facilitated to become entrepreneurs through various academic programs such as introductory courses and student affair programs such as entrepreneurship courses and entrepreneurial competitions. However, there’s no evaluation that the education and facilitation provided by IBA program is effective enough to create high quality entrepreneur. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to evaluate the entrepreneurial potential by identify and examine the attributes, mindset, and willingness to be self-employed whether the primary objective is to deliver social value or to create economic value. In accordance with this purpose, the self-assessment questionnaire was administered to 50 respondents among the students of International Business Administration, Sam Ratulangi University. As statistical analysis, this research provides Descriptive Statistics and Kruskal Wallis analysis were used. The result revealed that most of IBA students indicate high level of self-evaluation as entrepreneurial attributes but they are not having enough mindset as well as an entrepreneur. However most of them are willing to be entrepreneur with the primary objective is to create economic value. Therefore, IBA program needs to arrange the strategy in order to set a mindset as well as an entrepreneur and increase the preference of delivering social value.Keywords: Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurial Potential, Self-Assessment

Abstract

Abstract: Function of a company not only to increase profit but also responsible to the environment and society where the company located. This activity called Corporate Social Responsibility. CSR means that a corporation should act in a way that enhances society and be held accountable for any actions that affect people, their communities, and their environment. The objectives of this research is to evaluate importance and performance of the implementation of CSR program based on people and planet program at PT. Tirta Investama. method of the research is using importance performance analysis. The population observed all people who lives in Airmadidi Bawah, with sample size as many as 100 respondents and sampled using purposive sampling. The result showed that waste management, water access, education and health facilities, environmental conservation, and communication are attributes that very important and also the performance of the company is high, while the other attribute there is a very important but low performance, then not important but performance is high, and last there is attribute located in unimportant and low performance. From the results of this research, the researchers suggest PT Tirta Investama to pay attention and improve the attributes that have low performance and maintain programs that has high performance to get better. Keywords: corporate social responsibility, people and planet, importance and performance analysis

Abstract

Abstract: Over the past few decades, almost three billion employees globally are faced with a serious problem in every company called “stress” which affects employee’s performance and it has become an essential part of every field work. This study aims to determine Job Characteristic and Work Family Conflict Effects on Employee Occupational Stress. The number of sample is 55 respondents. The research was conducted in TVRI Sulut in Tikala Ares Hill of Manado City. Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis, t test and F test. The results showed that, based on the results of hypothesis testing in particular the model of the research found that the research model consisting of : job characteristic, and work family conflict has a positive and significant influence on employee occupational stress. Job characteristic become the most highest impact variable on employee occupational stress in this research. Work family conflict become the second highest impact variable on employee occupational stress in this research. Suggestions of this research: management in TVRI North Sulawesi should make this research finding become human resource strategy of the corporation. The management must focused the strategy to manage employee occupational stress by pay attention to job characteristic and work family conflict. Keywords: job characteristic, work family conflict, employee occupational stress

Abstract

Abstract: Purchasing decisions is the selection of a decision as an act of two or more alternative option. Here it is assumed that all voluntary behavior is based on the desire generated when consumers consciously and rationally choose one among alternative actions available. Consumer choice is Alternative the expected benefits and narrowing the options until the end of the selected alternative that can meet and satisfy the needs and desires. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship of words of mouth and customer purchasing decision on wooden furniture From Leilem. This research is conducted qualitatively. The result of this research is the words of mouth is related to the selling of wooden products from leilem and this study also found that most of the producers in leilem village are not really familiar with internet and other sophisticated e-marketing strategies, they do not even really have idea of how marketing works in their industry. This research could be a recommendation to other manufacturers to continuously improve the quality of their products and the way they interact with their customers. This study shows that the words of the mouth is very connected to the consumer's purchasing decision.Key words: words of mouth, purchasing decision, consumer behavior

Abstract

Abstract: Nowadays transportation is a very important tool in human life. The needs to move and to distribute goods makes transportation much needed. Moving and distribution of the goods is very important because this is what makes the economy run. The objectives of this research are to know about the importance and performance of Sam Ratulangi International Airport Attributes. This research is descriptive study with a quantitative approach. Descriptive in this study means that the researcher tries to describe and explain the airport attributes of Sam Ratulangi International Airport by using Importance and Performance Analysis. 100 Respondents are the sample size of this research. The result of this research shows that Resting Facilities are located in quadrant I which is very importance for consumer but the performance perceived to be low. Parking Facilities and Airport Image are located in quadrant II because it is importance for consumer meanwhile the performance also is good. These attributes are the biggest factor that influence The Airport. Whereas for Luggage Handling and Commercial Facilities are in quadrant III means that the two attributes are not really importance for the consumer and at the same time also has the low performance level. Sam Ratulangi International Airport better to pay more attention and improve the attributes that have low performance and maintain the attributes that has high performance to get better. Abstract

ABSTRAK : Kinerja karyawan merupakan kesuksesan yang dicapai individu dimana ukuran kesuksesan yang dicapai individu tidak dapat disamakan dengan individu lain. Tujuan peneitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah Penempatan Kerja dan Gaya Kepemimpinan secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai di Kantor Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil Manado. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis regresi linier berganda. Metode pengumpulan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuisioner yang dibagikan kepada karyawan tetap di Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil Manado. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial Penempatan Kerja dan Gaya Kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai dan secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil Manado. Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil Manado harus memperhatikan faktor Penempatan Kerja dan Gaya Kepemimpinan.Kata kunci: penempatann kerja, gaya kepemimpinan, kinerja pegawai

Abstract

Information technology is fundamentally changing the banking industry worldwide. Understanding of how demographic characteristics, social factors, and perceptions and influence consumer attitudes toward mobile banking adoption can allow banks to create solutions and plans to attract consumers to use their mobile banking services, thus enabling them to gain a greater share in the market banking. Especially in the banking market as the current BCA Manado where rapid development. is able to create ease and satisfaction to consumers who use these services. The population are 100 respondent of BCA consumers. The method used in this study is a quantitative method by distributing questionnaires to obtain primary data. The results which explains that there are twelve variables that encourage consumers to use the BCA bank (m-BCA services) which then formed five factors and there are eight factors that had no significant effect on the use of mobile banking services BCA Manado region. Five factors are formed service, trust, promotion Enriching mobile, and function of mobile banking, while eight variables significantly the cost is customer, customer behavior, customer satisfaction, reliability, perceived usefulness, real time to access and perceived ease of use. Abstract

The trend of using scooter motorcycles nowadays is crucial to support consumer daily activity; the increasing number of national whole sales shows a good sign for motorcycle industry, this research specialized explores the effect of three important variables that according to author gives significant effect on Purchase Intention of Honda scooter motorcycles in Manado, the three variables are: Price, Brand Equity, and Perceived quality. This research tried to prove that the three variables are the most suitable variables to explain consumer basic attitude on purchasing scooter motorcycle. Research method that had been used for this research is associative with multiple linear regression analysis technique. The population is Honda scooter users in Manado city and Primary data used Questioners base on sample size of this research which is 120 respondents. Secondary data collection which is used Journal, Internet, and Text book. The result of this research shows positive impact for these three variables which are Price, Brand Equity, and Perceived Quality generally give the significant influence for the Customer Purchasing Intention for Honda Scooter Motorcycle in Manado.
