Abstract

The digitalization of financial services has driven the increased use of non-cash payment systems at various financial institutions, including PT. Pegadaian. However, customer compliance in repaying loans remains suboptimal. This study aims to analyze the effect of non-cash payment systems on customer compliance in repaying loans at PT. Pegadaian, Boswesen Branch. Using a quantitative approach with simple linear regression analysis, this study processed data collected through a structured questionnaire from gold pawn customers. The results showed that the use of non-cash payment systems did not significantly impact customer compliance. This finding indicates that compliance is more determined by factors other than the use of payment technology, such as financial awareness, understanding of payment obligations, and level of trust in the institution. This study recommends that further studies consider psychological, behavioral, and financial literacy variables to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the determinants of customer compliance.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the high level of employee turnover fluctuations that impact the company's operational stability. The main objective of this study is to analyze the effect of job satisfaction on turnover intention with burnout as a mediating variable. This type of research is quantitative with an associative approach conducted at CV. Coto Maros Berkah, Manado City. The population in this study amounted to 38 employees, and the sampling technique used the census method (saturation sampling) so that all members of the population became respondents. Data collection was carried out through questionnaire distribution and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results show that job satisfaction has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention and burnout. Conversely, burnout has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention. Another important finding proves that burnout significantly mediates the effect of job satisfaction on turnover intention.

Abstract

The rapid growth of digital payment systems has transformed financial transactions globally, with the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) serving as a key initiative by Bank Indonesia to unify payment methods across providers. This study analyzes the role of perceived usefulness, security, and social factors on the intention to use QRIS among 148 GenBI Sulut members. Using a quantitative approach, the data were collected via a structured questionnaire and analyzed through multiple linear regression with Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 26, following validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. Results show that perceived usefulness significantly increases intention to use, while security and social factors have no significant partial effects; however, all three variables jointly have a significant influence, explaining 65.5% of variance. The findings validate the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and suggest that QRIS adoption strategies should focus on enhancing perceived usefulness, ensuring security, and delivering positive user experiences.   Keywords: QRIS, Perceived Usefulness, Security, Social Factors, Intention to Use

Abstract

This study examines the influence of product quality and electronic word- of-mouth (E-WOM) on customer purchase decisions at Anjela Café in Minahasa. The food and beverage industry has evolved beyond fulfilling basic needs to offering experiences shaped by product quality and digital interactions. In this context, both product quality and E-WOM are essential in forming customer perceptions and driving purchasing behavior. This research uses a quantitative approach with data collected from 100 respondents through a structured questionnaire. Multiple linear regression analysis was applied to examine the simultaneous and partial effects of the independent variables. The findings reveal that product quality and E-WOM significantly influence customer purchase decisions, both simultaneously and individually. High product quality improves satisfaction and loyalty, while positive E-WOM enhances trust, reduces perceived risk, and strengthens brand image. These results underscore the importance for food service businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises like Anjela Café, to maintain consistent quality and manage their digital reputation to improve customer decision-making and competitiveness in a rapidly evolving market.   Keywords: Product Quality, Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM), Purchase Decision
