Abstract

Penggunaan alelokimia sebagai bioherbisida berpotensi untuk pengendalian gulma yang ramah lingkungan. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ekstrak gulma dan bahan alami terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil caisim (Brassica chinensis L.). Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan konsentrasi ekstrak gulma dan bahan alami sebagai faktor tunggal. Terdapat 16 perlakuan yang diulang sebanyak 3 kali dan setiap perlakuan terdiri dari 2 polybag sehingga terdapat 48 satuan percobaan dengan 96 tanaman caisim sebagai sampel amatan.. Data yang telah terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analysis of variance (ANOVA) dan jika menunjukkan perbedaan yang nyata, maka diuji lebih lanjut dengan uji DMRT pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak gulma dan bahan alami berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman 35 HST, jumlah daun 21 HST, bobot segar tanaman, dan bobot kering tanaman. Ekstrak daun Euphorbia heterophylla pada konsentrasi 200 g L-1 nyata mampu meningkatkan tinggi tanaman, dan bobot segar tanaman, ekstrak daun Cyperus rotundus konsentrasi 120 g L-1 mampu meningkatkan berat kering tanaman, sedangkan ekstrak Terminalia catappa pada konsentrasi 200 g L-1 dan Melaleunca laucadendron pada konsentrasi 40 g L-1 meningkatkan jumlah daun pada umur 21 HST.Kata kunci: alelokimia, bioherbisida, konsentrasi, produksi, tanaman sayuran

Abstract

The conversion of land to dry land promotes the use of local rice varieties capable of withstanding drought conditions, thus contributing to the development of sustainable agricultural practices. The anthocyanin content of pigmented rice may confer a greater resilience to cell damage caused by drought conditions than white rice. This study aims to evaluate the vegetative characteristics of local pigmented rice at varying soil water content levels. The study was conducted from June to August 2024 at the Agricultural Laboratory of Sebelas Maret University. Eight rice varieties were utilized, including two control rice varieties, two local white rice varieties, and four local pigmented rice varieties. The experimental design was a completely randomized block design split plot with three blocks and two factorials: eight rice varieties and four levels of soil water content. Data analysis was conducted using the ANOVA, Duncan, and regression tests. The findings indicated that Hitam Cempo and Merah Wangi exhibited optimal growth at a lower soil water content of field capacity (25% FC) than white rice and IR64 control. Hitam Mutiara and Merah Wangi exhibited optimal responses at 75% and 50% FC, respectively, compared to the white rice and IR64 control varieties. Leaf rolling scores increased in black and red rice as soil water content decreased compared to white rice. The research findings indicate that, based on the vegetative characteristics of local pigmented rice, it has the potential to be more drought tolerant than white rice. Further research on testing physiological and biochemical resistance traits is needed to support the development of rice types that can be planted in dry land.

Abstract

Zinc is an essential micronutrient for the survival of plants. Rice cultivation in Indonesia is primarily conducted on submerged soil, resulting in low zinc availability in rice plants. Applying zinc fertilizer is a method to augment plant nutrients, consequently enhancing rice yield. This study aimed to analyze and determine the best ZnSO4 fertilization dose for yield and zinc concentration in Ciherang, Rojolele and Mentik Wangi rice varieties. This study was conducted in the experimental garden of Sebelas Maret University from August 2023 to January 2024. The study was conducted using a 3x5 factorial Randomized Complete Block Design. The first factor was rice varieties consisting of Ciherang, Rojolele, and Mentik Wangi. The second factor was ZnSO4 fertilization consisting of doses of 0 kg.ha-1, 12 kg.ha-1, 16 kg.ha-1, 20 kg.ha-1, and 24 kg.ha-1. Statistical analysis in this study used ANOVA with a significance level of 5% and DMRT with a significance level of 5%. Zinc sulfate heptahydrate (ZnSO4) foliar application significantly differs in rice's zinc concentration. Mentik wangi rice variety (V3) was given dose 4 (D4) (24 kg.ha-1) is the best combination to increase the zinc concentration in rice by 40.01 ppm compared to no zinc fertilization treatment.

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Diabetes Melitus adalah penyakit gangguan metabolik yang disebabkan oleh kegagalan pankreas untuk memproduksi hormon insulin dalam jumlah yang ideal Keton merupakan produk dari pemecahan asam lemak. Keberadaan keton dalam urine menandakan bahwa tubuh menggunakan lemak sebagai energi. Ketonuria merupakan kondisi dimana ditemukan adanya keton di dalam urine. Peningkatan ketonuria mengindikasikan tingginya keton dalam tubuh (ketoasidosis) yang dapat menyebabkan penurunan pH darah jika tidak segera mendapatkan penanganan dan mengarah pada ketoasidosis koma dan kematian. Tujuan : mengetahui gambaran keton urine pada penderita Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 di Puskesmas Srandakan, Kabupaten Bantul. Metode : Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan desain penelitian cross secsional. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 20 Desember 2021 – 20 Januari 2022. Objek penelitian ini adalah pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 di Puskesmas Srandakan yang berpuasa minimal 8 jam sebelum melakukan pemeriksaan. Sampel berjumlah 120 pasien. Hasil : Pada 120 pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2, didapatkan dari 97 pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 hiperglikemia sebanyak 4 pasien (3,3%) positif (+) keton, 10 pasien (8,3%) trace (±) keton dan 83 pasien (69,2%) negatif (-) keton. Pada pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 dengan kadar glukosa darah puasa normal yang berjumlah 22 pasien didapatkan 1 pasien (0,8%) trace keton dan 21 pasien (17,5%) negatif keton. Pada pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 hipoglikemia didapatkan 1 pasien (0,8%) dengan negatif keton. Kesimpulan : Gambaran keton urine pada 120 pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2, dengan hasil 4 pasien (3,3%) dengan hasil pemeriksaan positif (+) keton, 11 pasien (9,2%) dengan hasil pemeriksaan trace (±) keton dan 105 pasien (87,5%) dengan hasil pemeriksaan negatif (-) keton.

Abstract

Antibiotic sensitivity testing is essential for determining bacterial susceptibility to antibiotics. In disc diffusion testing, several technical factors influence the diameter of the inhibition zone, including incubation temperature, which must be carefully controlled to ensure the validity of test results. This study aims to determine the mean, difference, and analyze the diameter of the inhibition zone of the antibiotics, namely Clindamycin, Levofloxacin, Tetracycline, and Trimethoprim against Staphylococcus aureus on Mueller-Hinton agar media with incubation temperatures of 33°C, 34°C, 35°C, 36°C and 37°C for 18 hours. This research is observational, with a cross-sectional design. The primary data is 100 data on the diameter of the antibiotic inhibition zone, obtained by measuring the diameter of the inhibition zone with different incubation temperatures. The selection of antibiotics is based on the mechanism of action of antibiotics inhibiting bacteria, namely the cell wall or cell membrane that surrounds the bacterial cell; the pieces of machinery that make the nucleic acids DNA and RNA, and the machinery that produces proteins (the ribosome and associated proteins) with a range of inhibition zones based on Internal Quality Control CLSI. The data and the repeated measure statistical test will be processed univariately to determine the significance of the difference in the diameter of the formed inhibition zone using the ANOVA test. The measurement of the inhibition zone diameter on the incubation temperature variation showed a significant difference with a p-value of 0.000 for Levofloxacin, Tetracycline, and Trimethoprim, while the p-value of Clindamycin is 0.010. For the other antibiotics, Levofloxacin, Tetracycline, and Trimethoprim antibiotics, the higher the incubation temperature, the average diameter of the inhibition zone is condensed, while for Clindamycin the higher the incubation temperature, the higher the average diameter of the inhibition zone is the same. Incubation temperature and volume affect the diameter of the antibiotic inhibition zone in the disc diffusion method for the antibiotic sensitivity test. It can be concluded that incubation temperature affects the diameter of the antibiotic inhibition zone in disc diffusion tests. It is recommended for future standardized and precise testing conditions to ensure accurate and reliable antibiotic sensitivity results.

Sebuah perusahan distribusi barang-barang kelontong dan karpet bernama Reagan Star di Bandung memerlukan 1 ( satu ) pegawai Admin Digital Marketing (disebut pegawai Admin) dengan tugas mempromosikan barang kelontong, karpet menggunakan media sosial, dan mengepak pesanan pelanggan untuk dikirimkan kepada pelanggan melalui pihak pengangkut (Gojek, Grab, dll). Reagan Star menetapkan beberapa persyaratan antara lain, memiliki kompetensi di bidang digital marketing, memiliki sikap ramah.Memiliki motivasi berprestasi tinggi. Memiliki komitmen afektif yang tinggi serta bersedia dibayar dengan gaji setara Upah Minimum Regional. 4 (empat) calon pelamar yang ingin menjadi pegawai admin Yaitu Amir, Budi, Cecep, Dika. Perusahan Reagan Star dalam melakukan penyeleksian pegawai admin menggunakan metode Vikor. Hasil perhitungan dengan menggunakan metode Vikor menunjukkan bahwa Budi sebagai pemenangnya.

Abstract

The empirical problem in assisting the preparation of Academic Papers and the Draft of Special Regional Regulations for the Province of West Papua is that there is no synchronization between previous and current legislation regarding sustainable development. Specifically, in West Papua Province, sustainable development is based on the view that natural resources have a limited capacity to accept the impact of human activities. The objectives of this mentoring activity are (1) to develop a framework for academic texts as the main umbrella for the draft of special regional regulations; (2) to draft a special regional regulation on Sustainable Development in the Province of West Papua; (3) evaluate the implementation of Perdasus No. 10 of 2019 concerning Sustainable Development in West Papua Province; and (4) propose new articles (inserts) as a form of an amendment to the existing special regional regulations. The output of this strengthening activity is expected to contribute to harmonizing, regulating, limiting, considering, and covering the scope of special regional regulations related to Sustainable Development in West Papua Province. Participants in the mentoring activity consisted of (1) Provincial Government Elements, (2) Universities, (3) Customary Institutions, (4) Technical Regional Apparatus Organizations, and (5) Members of the DPR and MRP West Papua, totaling 75 people. This mentoring activity resulted in: (1) changes to the provisions of Articles I and II norms, and (2) Insertions of Articles 5, 6A, 26A, and 49A.

Abstract

Lahan pekarangan disekitar rumah memiliki potensi besar dalam membantu mencukupi beberapa kebutuhan pemiliknya seperti kebutuhan pangan dan penambah penghasilan. Contohnya adalah pemanfaatan sebagai lahan tanam sayuran atau buah-buahan. Potensi lahan pekarangan ini belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal oleh Kelompok Tani Mulyo 1 Desa Gentungan, Kecamatan Mojogedang, Kabupaten Karanganyar. Padahal banyak lahan yang dimilikinya memiliki potensi yang besar untuk budidaya buah-buahan seperti tanaman pisang untuk menambah penghasilan petani. Namun kendala yang dihadapi adalah kondisi tanah yang kurang subur untuk budidaya tanaman. Oleh karena itu TIM Pengabdian Universitas Sebelas Maret melalui hibah Dana PDTI 2024 yang menggandeng Mitra Tani Mulyo 1 dan Pemerintah Desa Gentungan melakukan upaya peningkatan kesuburan lahan dengan aplikasi biochar. Biochar merupakan arang hitam dari hasil pemanasan dan pembakaran dibawah kondisi tanpa oksigen. Berdasarkan beberapa literatur, penggunaan biochar dapat memperbaiki kesuburan fisik tanah, antara lain struktur tanah, dan kualitas tanah dalam jangka panjang serta mengurangi efek dari kontaminasi akibat penggunaan bahan kimia tertentu. Serangkaian upaya implementasi biochar dalam budidaya tanaman pisang dimulai dari kegiatan pembuatan alat produksi biochar, pelatihan produksi biochar, pelatihan budidaya pisang berbasis biochar dan praktik langsung pada lahan pekarangan Tani Mulyo 1. Kegiatan ini menerapkan alat produksi biochar agar mitra penerima manfaat memiliki kompetensi dalam produksi biochar secara mandiri dari sekam padi serta dalam jangka panjang dapat menambah penghasilan petani melalui budidaya tanaman pisang di lahan pekarangan. Secara umum program yang dijalan sukses terlaksana atas kerjasama TIM Pengusul dengan mitra serta dukungan pengalaman dan kompetensi pengusul dari berbagai disiplin ilmu yang berbeda dan linear.

Abstract

The decline in soil fertility, characterized by extremely low organic matter content, is a common occurrence in agricultural land due to the intensified practices of crop production. These practices often involve the unwise application of chemical fertilizers and a lack of recycling agricultural waste as organic fertilizers. This study aimed to investigate the impact of biochar on the yield of small shallot bulbs grown from true shallot seed (TSS) in a dryland agroecosystem. The experimental trial was conducted using a randomized block design, incorporating two factors: organic amendments (biochar, manure, and biomass) and TSS varieties (Tuk-tuk, Sanren, and Trisula). The results demonstrated that the use of biochar, particularly in the Trisula variety, resulted in the highest production of mini-tubers, with an average of 4.5 tubers per seed. In comparison, the Sanren variety yielded 1.8 bulbs per seed, while the Tuk-Tuk variety yielded 1.2 bulbs per seed. Furthermore, the application of biochar had a positive influence on soil properties, such as increased levels of organic carbon (C- organic), availability of phosphorus (P-available), and cation exchange capacity (CEC) in dry soils. The utilization of biochar as an organic amendment demonstrated its potential to enhance shallot bulb yield, particularly in the Trisula variety, within a dryland agroecosystem.

Abstract

PMM merupakan sebuah platform digital yang menyediakan berbagai layanan dan konten pembelajaran untuk mendukung implementasi Merdeka Belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) pengaruh supervisi kepala sekolah terhadap profesionalisme guru, 2) pengaruh partisipasi guru dalam kelompok kerja guru (KKG) terhadap profesionalisme guru, dan 3) pemanfaatan platform merdeka mengajar (PMM) terhadap profesionalisme guru, serta 4) supervisi kepala sekolah, partisipasi guru dalam kelompok kerja guru, dan pemanfaatan platform merdeka mengajar terhadap profesionalisme guru sekolah dasar di kabupaten tegal. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan sampel 100 guru sekolah dasar di kabupaten tegal dengan analisis deskripsi dan regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi kepala sekolah, partisipasi guru dalam kegiatan kkg, dan pemanfaatan platform merdeka berpengaruh terhadap profesional guru sekolah dasar di wilayah Kabupaten Tegal. Kesimpulannya adalah 1) supervisi kepala sekolah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap professional guru sekolah dasar di wilayah Kabupaten Tegal,  2) partisipasi guru dalam kegiatan KKG berpengaruh signifikan terhadap professional guru sekolah dasar di wilayah Kabupaten Tegal, 3) pemanfaatan Platform Merdeka Mengajar (PMM) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap professionalisme guru sekolah dasar di Wilayah Kabupaten Tegal, 4) supervisi kepala sekolah, partisipasi guru dalam kegiatan KKG, dan pemanfaatan platform merdeka mengajar secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profesional guru sekolah dasar di Wilayah Kabupaten Tegal
