Abstract

The rapid evolution of technology presents significant challenges in its integration into educational environments. Despite these challenges, interactive multimedia digital learning materials stand out as an effective means to meet educational objectives in high schools. By combining these materials with methodologies like inquiry-based learning, educators can offer a richer and more dynamic learning experience. Therefore, the objective of this research is to develop interactive multimedia with an inquiry-based approach that is suitable for use in education. The research method used in this study is research and development, adopting the Alessi & Trollip model. The research sample consist of 7 people which was media experts, subject matter experts, practitioners (subject teachers), and 42 students. Data collection is conducted through non-test methods such as observation and questionnaires. The research data is then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The research results show that in the alpha testing phase, the developed interactive multimedia received a "Very Good" qualification from the experts and practitioners who acted as validators, with an overall average score of 87%. Meanwhile, the beta testing results with the research subjects, the students, gave a rating of 87% which falls under the "Very Good" qualification. Thus, interactive multimedia with an inquiry-based approach is deemed suitable for use as a learning medium in sociology subjects. This research showed that the inquiry-based multimedia for sociology could be a tool to facilitate learning activities in high schools.

Abstract

Digital learning media based on applications are rarely found in anti-bullying education, yet the impact of using such learning tools cannot be underestimated. Therefore, this study aims to develop a digital learning media product based on an application to promote anti-bullying among Generation Z in junior high schools. This research adopts a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, focusing on the process of producing application-based digital learning media suitable for educational purposes. The research subjects consist of media experts, content experts, and the director of the Children's Care Foundation (KAKAK) in Surakarta. Data collection techniques involved media validation questionnaires, which were then analyzed using percentages and described to provide an overview of the suitability level of this media. The research results show that the average validation results were 88%, while the average results from content were 87%. After validation, this digital media fall into the 'Very Good' qualification. Therefore, based on assessments from media experts, content experts, and the director of the KAKAK Foundation, it is concluded that this application-based digital learning media product is categorized as 'feasible' for use as an alternative learning medium in promoting anti-bullying in junior high schools. The existence of this media is evidently an innovative learning tool that enriches the process of anti-bullying education.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a mobile-exam application to prevent cheating during online  exams in high school computational thinking. The research follows the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) and collects data through questionnaires, observations, pre-test and post-test in control and experimental classes. Sample included 72 respondents divided into control and experimental classes. The analysis involves descriptive and statistical methods to compare test result and cheating frequencies. Result indicate that the use of the mobile exam app significantly decreases cheating occurrences compared to traditional methods. The number of cheating incidents decreased from 20 in the control classes to 5 in the experimental classes, demonstrating the application's effectiveness in promoting academic integrity. Furthermore, the experimental class using the app shows improvement in post-test by 13 points compared to a 5-point increase in the control classes, demonstrating that the app not only prevents cheating but also enhances student learning outcomes. This app contributes to promoting academic integrity in online education settings, offering an innovative solution for improving exam security and student performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh model Game-Based Learning (GBL) berbasis Zep kuis terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis murid pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila, khususnya materi Undang-Undang Dasar 1945. Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan kompetensi penting agar murid mampu menganalisis nilai-nilai konstitusi dan menanggapi persoalan sensitivitas secara rasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan GBL berbantuan Zep Quiz memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis murid. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimental) melalui kelompok kontrol nonequivalent pretest-posttest. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas X Akuntansi SMK Negeri 3 Sukoharjo tahun ajaran 2025/2026 dengan jumlah sampel 72 murid yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes kemampuan berpikir kritis, serta didukung oleh observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji independen sample t-test, dan analisis N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa baik kelas eksperimen maupun kelas kontrol mengalami peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis setelah pembelajaran. Namun, hasil uji t menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua kelompok (sig. = 0,624 > 0,05). Namun demikian, hasil analisis N-Gain menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada kategori sedang dengan nilai rata-rata 0,57. Dapat disimpulkan, model Game based learning (GBL) berbasis Zep Quiz mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis secara moderat, meskipun belum terbukti lebih unggul secara signifikan dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional

Abstract

The research method used in this research is a method of qualitative research with a literate study research strategy. The sources and methods of data aggregation were collected from data in libraries, internet, scientific articles, books, journals and documents related to the themes of scientific research back up, published and published in scientific work. As a result of the study, the writings were used as a grade of bacaan and a recommendation for The development of multiculturaleducation in Indonesia. Abstract

This study aims to describe how urgent character education is and how teachers implement it in history learning at SMA Negeri 15, Kepulauan Tanimbar Regency, which is related to three aspects of learning, namely planning, implementation (learning strategies and methods), and evaluation during the Covid-19 pandemic.(19) This study used qualitative research method. It was conducted in the odd semester of the 2021–2022 academic year at SMA Negeri 15, Kepulauan Tanimbar Regency, Maluku Province. There were two sources of data, primary and secondary data. It was found that globalization and modernization have a negative impact on students' morals and associations, and character education in history learning is important during the Covid-19 pandemic so that students can learn from history. In learning implementation, history teachers make lesson plans adapted from the syllabus from the government. In the implementation of history learning during this pandemic, teachers must maximize learning strategies and methods, especially in utilizing media and historical learning resources. Learning evaluation should be carried out from scratch to examine the success of the implementation of character education in history learning during this pandemic. Teachers can evaluate history learning by group tests or individual tests to find out the changes in students' affective learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the forms of bullying, influencing factors, and efforts to address bullying among students. This study used a mixed methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative approaches. The results indicate that the most common forms of bullying among students are verbal bullying, cyberbullying, and physical bullying. Verbal bullying has a relatively high prevalence rate of 22.1 percent to 59.4 percent, cyberbullying has a moderate prevalence rate of 23.2 percent to 37.4 percent, and physical bullying has a low prevalence rate of 10 percent to 16.1 percent. Bullying among students is influenced by two factors: psychosocial factors, including emotional regulation and empathy, and social environmental factors, including peer pressure, interaction culture, and digital ethics. Prevention and handling of bullying at the school level can be achieved through several strategies: internalizing anti-bullying attitudes through character education, strengthening reporting and monitoring systems, and cross-sector collaboration to address bullying.

Abstract

Background - The development of digital marketing competencies is essential in technology-driven industries. However, learning outcomes and students’ motivation in digital marketing courses at Magistra Utama Surakarta remain suboptimal due to the limited use of interactive and engaging learning media. Conventional teacher-centered instruction has not sufficiently supported students’ active participation in the learning process. Research Urgency - The need for innovative learning media in digital marketing education has become increasingly urgent, particularly in vocational and practice-oriented contexts. Android-based mobile learning offers a promising alternative to improve student engagement, motivation, and instructional effectiveness. However, empirical evidence regarding its effectiveness in digital marketing instruction is still limited. Research Objectives - This study aims to analyze the effect of Android-based mobile learning media, namely EDUMAGI, on improving students’ motivation in learning digital marketing at Magistra Utama Surakarta. Research Method - This study employed a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group. Participants were selected using cluster random sampling. The experimental group received instruction using the Android-based mobile learning media EDUMAGI, while the control group was taught through conventional methods. Data were analyzed using an independent samples t-test with SPSS 27. Research Findings - The statistical analysis revealed a significant difference between the experimental and control groups (t = 6.338; p = 0.002 < 0.025), indicating that the implementation of Android-based mobile learning media resulted in higher student motivation scores. These findings demonstrate that EDUMAGI contributes to a more engaging, interactive, and effective learning experience in digital marketing instruction. Research Conclusion - Android-based mobile learning media significantly enhance students’ motivation in learning digital marketing. The use of EDUMAGI supports the integration of mobile learning as an effective alternative to conventional teacher-centered instructional approaches. Research Novelty/Contribution - This study provides empirical evidence of the effectiveness of EDUMAGI as a context-specific Android-based learning medium developed for digital marketing instruction. The findings contribute theoretically to the growing discourse on mobile learning adoption and practically offer an applicable instructional innovation for improving learner motivation and teaching quality in vocational education contexts.
