Abstract

Stoke is one type of disease that causes disability and death. One of the problems that arise is the weakening of muscle strength in the extremities and will hinder activities in meeting daily needs. This application uses a case study method of applying a handheld rubber ball which is carried out at least 2 times a day for 5 days. The subject used was 1 patient who was diagnosed with stroke with hemiparase. The results of the application showed that after being given the application of rubber ball gripping therapy for 5 days the muscle strength of the upper left extremity increased as measured by the Handrip Dynamometer before application was 4.1 kg and after application it became 6.4 kg and when measured using a manual muscle strength tester. The respondent's muscle strength in grade 2 experienced a slight change but remained within the range of grade 2 muscle strength. The application of grasping a rubber ball showed that it was proven to increase muscle strength in stroke patients who experienced hemiparase. Stroke patients who experience hemiparase are expected to be able to do handheld rubber ball therapy to increase extremity muscle strength

Abstract

This research aims to enhance information technology (IT) governance in a financial technology company by focusing on peer-to-peer lending services. The main challenges faced by the company involve a lack of system design details, leading to post-implementation imperfections and negative impacts on business process performance, including unnecessary delays and adjustments. The lack of transparency in system evaluation is also a hindrance caused by incomplete recording of test results. Therefore, this research aims to address these challenges by utilizing the COBIT 2019 framework. The study employs a qualitative approach, utilizing data obtained through interviews and literature studies supported by the COBIT Tool Kit. The analysis is conducted on three main objectives: security management, solution identification, and IT change management, to identify disparities between the current status and desired targets. The analysis results highlight the need for improvements in specific aspects, including the lack of system design details, more precise information in the change process, and deficiencies in recording test results. Recommendations for improvement involve the development of more detailed guidelines for system design, enhanced documentation of changes, and improvements in testing instructions and result reporting. Additionally, recommendations focus on enhancing capabilities through proactive evaluation, refining security plans, developing more adaptive solution acquisition strategies, and improving testing practices. Thus, this research underscores the importance of strategic improvements within the IT and Information Systems governance framework to shape a more effective and transparent operational environment in Financial Technology companies.

Abstract

One of the impacts of industrial activities is that it provides regional economic progress, especially contributing to the value of regional GDP. This research uses a survey method through observation and interviews as well as literature study and is presented descriptively analytically. The results of this research show that in terms of the perception of farmer households living around the timber industry location as measured by indicators of the company's presence in terms of infrastructure and environment, social relations and employment opportunities, it shows the medium category with a score of 32.74. One of the reasons for this is the increase in the number of migrant residents and the increase in the allocation of working hours to earn a living. Judging from the economic aspect, it is known that the average economic household of farmers living around the location of wood industry activities has an income of around IDR 2,180,540 per month, while the average living needs (DLN) in the area is IDR 3,000,914. - per month or minus Rp. 820,374,- per month. The contribution of income from working as a laborer in a wood factory to the total income of farmer households is 67.35%. This means that the influence of the presence of timber companies in the community is quite a positive contribution to the economy of the surrounding community. However, the company's existence also raises environmental issues, including the potential for disruption to physical-chemical and socio-cultural components as well as public health.

Abstract

Altruistic leadership plays an important role in shaping subordinates' positive attitudes and behavior, such as job satisfaction. This research is also motivated by a research gap in previous research which discussed leadership styles more broadly and there is still a lack of research in Indonesian that discusses altruistic leadership and its relationship with employee job satisfaction. From the results of interviews and field observations of teachers, especially in the Wialyah Siantar Elementary School unit under the auspices of YPK Santo Yoseph Pematangsiantar, job satisfaction is a factor that is greatly influenced by the type of leadership of the school principal and the leadership methods applied. So in the discussion and results of this research, altruistic leadership and its relationship to principal supervision have an influence on teacher job satisfaction. Altruistic leadership influences job satisfaction. Job satisfaction can also increase if supervision is carried out well. Keywords: Altruistic Leadership, Principal Supervision, Job Satisfaction
