Abstract

Tawes fish (Barbonymus gonionotus), also known as lampan, is an indigenous freshwater species with significant economic value and cultivation potential. However, suboptimal growth remains a common challenge in aquaculture. Hormonal treatments such as thyroxine and rGH are known to enhance metabolic processes, potentially improving egg yolk absorption and larval growth. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of thyroxine and rGH hormone immersion on the rate of egg yolk absorption and development of newly hatched tawes fish larvae. The experimental design employed a CRD with four treatments and three replications: A (thyroxine 0 mg/L + rGH 2.5 mg/L), B (thyroxine 0.1 mg/L + rGH 0 mg/L), C (thyroxine 0 mg/L + rGH 2.5 mg/L), and D (thyroxine 0.1 mg/L + rGH 2.5 mg/L), with hormone immersion conducted for 60 minutes. The results demonstrated that the combined immersion of thyroxine and rGH significantly (P <0.05) improved the absolute weight gain, absolute length increment, and survival rate of tawes fish larvae. The highest values for absolute weight (0.043±0.002 g) and length (12.77±0.15 mm) were observed in treatment D (thyroxine 0.1 mg/L + rGH 2.5 mg/L), while the best survival rate (70.00±2.00%) was recorded in treatment A (thyroxine 0 mg/L + rGH 2.5 mg/L). These findings suggest that the combined use of thyroxine and rGH can effectively enhance the early growth and development of tawes fish larvae.

Abstract

Higher education is one of the important pillars that is expected to bring improvement to a nation, because higher education is to train people, sharpen and use their intelligence to solve their problems. The education level system in Indonesia has various levels of education. The purpose of this study are: (1) Testing the significance of the service quality and educational facilities simultaneously on student’s satisfaction of Tarbiyah Faculty IAIN Kediri. (2) Testing the significance of the service quality variable effect on the student’s satisfaction of Tarbiyah faculty IAIN Kediri. (3) Test the significance of the educational facilities variable effect on the student’s satisfaction of Tarbiyah faculty IAIN Kediri. This type of research is a quantitative research. The study was conducted at Tarbiyah Faculty of IAIN Kediri. The number of respondents was 100 people. The results of this study are (1) simultaneously the service quality and educational facilities have effect on student’s satisfaction (2) partially the service quality has a positive and significant effect on student’s satisfaction (3) partially the educational facilities have a positive and significant effect on student’s satisfaction

Abstract

Laba merupakan salah satu faktor yang menentukan keberhasilan suatu usaha. Di era modernisasi seperti sekarang, Literasi Keuangan dan Financial Technology menjadi salah satu faktor yang membantu pelaku usaha untuk memperoleh laba yang diinginkan. Namun, masih 20% saja yang memahami tentang Literasi Keuangan. Selain itu, sebagian besar pelaku usaha juga belum menerapkan Financial Technology yang sebenarnya dapat membantu transaksi jual beli secara cepat dan mudah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris pengaruh Literasi Keuangan dan pengaruh Financial Technology terhadap Laba UMKM. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen kuesioner. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada UMKM di Kota Surabaya dengan jumlah pemilik usaha yang berjumlah 237 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian ini menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Teknik simple random sampling merupakan teknik pengambilan sampel dari suatu populasi yang dilakukan secara acak tanpa memperhatikan strata dari populasi, dengan metode tersebut maka sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 99 orang. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan Partial Least Squares (PLS) dengan software SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Literasi Keuangan berpengaruh terhadap Laba UMKM, dan (2) Financial Technology tidak berpengaruh terhadap Laba UMKM

Abstract

Composite polymers are now under development and are widely used in automobile manufacturing for interior panels, door panels, and bodywork. The research and development of polymer composites for the automobile manufacturing must have resilient fire resistance requirements. Currently, polymer composites with fire resistance capabilities have been developed with geopolymer materials, which offer benefits and produce excellent performance. Geopolymers are inorganic polymers that contain aluminosilicates, silica oxides, and alumina oxides. They have thermally resistant mechanical characteristics. Geopolymer materials are commonly derived from waste materials, including those utilized as additions to polymer composite materials, specifically coal fly ash and clay-based waste. The purpose of this literature is to discuss the path and progress of waste-based polymer reinforced composite technology for fire resistance. The methodology employed in this study takes a conceptual approach to articles on the influence of adding different types of geopolymer materials on the fire resistance properties of natural fiber reinforced composites. According to the findings, articles involving the inclusion of geopolymer materials tend to lower resistance to tensile and flexural stresses, whilst the addition of this geopolymer material reduces fire resistant qualities.

Abstract

Thermal spray arc is a familiar coating method used around 100 years ago. This coating technique was chosen to reduce damage and improve the surface quality of materials with coating bonds that are in direct contact with extreme marine environments. The minimum thickness of the TSA coating is around 100 – 500 µm. According to NACE/AWS/SSPC, a coating layer submerged in seawater will lose 20 µm every year, for a minimum bond strength of 6.89 Mpa. The research aims to analyze the effect of coating distance on AISI 1020 steel. The tests carried out are dry film thickness, pull of adhesive, and bending tests. This research uses distance variations of 150 mm, 250 mm, 350 mm. The research results show that the use of distance has an effect on the bond strength of the layer and the substrate. The best bond strength and bending ability values ​​were found at a distance of 350 mm, with a coating strength of 10.81 Mpa and no bending cracks. Increasing distance variations in the thermal spray process increases bond strength and bending ability.

Abstract

Shield Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) welding in practice often faces challenges in the form of defects in the joints which damage the quality of the connection. One implementation of welding connections is the process of making a paddock. Poor welding can damage the paddock and harm its users. The research aims to determine the effect of welding speed and electrodes on the tensile strength, hardness and microstructure of ST-37 steel welded joints. The research used AWS E 7016 and AWS E 6013 electrodes with a current of 100 amperes and varying welding speeds of 0.2 cm/s, 0.3 cm/s and 0.4 cm/s. The highest tensile strength for the AWS E 7016 electrode was 460.32 MPa and the lowest for the AWS E 6013 electrode was 256.02 MPa. The highest hardness value on AWS E 7016 was 236.07 MPa and the lowest was on AWS E 6013, amounting to 176.86 MPa. The ferrite composition dominates the weld metal. Because ferrite is ductile and not too hard, it means that the weld metal area is ductile and the hardness is not too high.

Abstract

Permasalahan pada sektor transportasi seperti kecelakaan lalu lintas menjadi perhatian penting, salah satunya disebabkan oleh kondisi kendaraan yang kurang optimal dalam menyerap energi benturan. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan material alternatif yang ringan namun memiliki kekuatan mekanik tinggi, salah satunya yaitu komposit serat karbon untuk aplikasi bodi kendaraan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh variasi lama waktu curing terhadap kekuatan tarik dan impak material komposit berbahan serat karbon. Material komposit menggunakan serat karbon 3K Twill 220 gsm dan resin epoksi dengan perbandingan resin : hardener (2:1). Proses pembuatan komposit dilakukan dengan kombinasi metode Hand Lay-Up dan Vacuum Bagging, serta variasi lama waktu curing 30 menit, 45 menit, dan 60 menit pada suhu 100°C. Pengujian kekuatan tarik mengacu pada standar ASTM D3039 dan pengujian impak Charpy mengacu pada ASTM E23. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa nilai tegangan tarik tertinggi diperoleh pada spesimen dengan waktu curing 60 menit sebesar 190,86 MPa. Pada uji impak, energi serap dan ketangguhan impak tertinggi diperoleh pada waktu curing 30 menit dengan nilai masing-masing 1,339 J dan 0,253 J/mm². Dengan demikian, waktu curing 60 menit memberikan kekuatan tarik maksimal, sementara waktu curing 30 menit unggul dalam ketangguhan impak. Penentuan lama waktu curing optimal perlu disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan karakteristik yang lebih spesifik. This highlights the need for lightweight materials with high mechanical strength, such as carbon fiber composites, for energy-efficient vehicle body applications. This study investigates the effect of curing time variations on the tensile and impact strength of carbon fiber composites made from 3K Twill 220 gsm carbon fiber and epoxy resin (resin:hardener ratio of 2:1). The composites were fabricated using Hand Lay-Up and Vacuum Bagging methods, with curing times of 30, 45, and 60 minutes at 100°C. Tensile tests followed ASTM D3039 and impact tests followed ASTM E23. The highest tensile strength 190,86 MPa was achieved at 60 minutes, For the impact test, the highest absorbed energy and impact toughness were achieved at 30 minutes of curing, with values of 1.339 J and 0.253 J/mm². Therefore, a curing time of 60 minutes provides maximum tensile strength, while a curing time of 30 minutes excels in impact toughness. The determination of the optimal curing time needs to be adjusted to the specific characteristic requirements.Keywords: carbon fiber composite, curing, hand lay-up, vacuum bagging

Abstract

Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) bagi guru sekolah dasar dilakukan dalam bentuk kegiatan pelatihan pemahaman pelaksanaan pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT). Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman bagi guru sekolah dasar dalam meningkatkan kompetensinya khususnya pemahaman pelaksanaan pelaksanaan CRL. Kegiatan pelatihan ini menggunakan metode ceramah tanya jawab, dan diskusi. Peserta pelatihan adalah guru sekolah dasar yang berjumlah 30 orang. Sebelum pelatihan dilakukan pres test dengan hasil kategori kurang baik dan setelah pelatihan kategori baik. Guru sekolah dasar dapat mengerti dan memahami materi yang diberikan pada kegiatan ini, karena materi ini dilengkapi dengan latihan memahaman pelaksanaan pendekatan CRL, sehingga kendala guru dalam pelaksanaan CRL di sekolah bisa diatasi dalam proses mengajar.

Abstract

Professional competence is a technical skill that must be mastered by productive Vocational School teachers. Unfortunately, to date no audit has been carried out. The aim of the research is to audit the level of professional competence of productive teachers in motorbike engineering and business based on teacher competency standards. The audit is focused on the knowledge aspect. The research method is quantitative. The population is productive teachers of motorbike engineering and business with a sample of five vocational schools using probability sampling. Data collection uses instruments. Data analysis uses statistics with the discrepancy evaluation model. Research procedure; problem identification, literature study, field observation, instrument creation, data collection, processing and conclusions. Research result; (1) 96.29% of teachers met the academic qualification requirements and 3.71% did not. Suitability of educational background with teaching obligations; 92.59% were appropriate and 7.41% were not appropriate. 33.33% of teachers are certified educators and 66.67% are not yet certified. (2) the results of teacher competency audits in the form of knowledge passports and training recommendations; 18.52% of less competent teachers are recommended to take basic training, 37.04% of moderately competent teachers are recommended to take intermediate training, 37.04% of competent teachers are recommended to take advanced training, and 7.40% of highly competent teachers are not recommended to take advanced training or professional development. The lowest mean sub-competency score was 2.4 in color maching, while the highest mean score was 3.7 in the battery sub-competency.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kepatuhan pajak di kalangan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) melalui sosialisasi Pajak Penghasilan (PPh) Final. Latar belakang kegiatan ini adalah rendahnya tingkat kepatuhan pajak di kalangan UMKM, yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya pemahaman mengenai kebijakan perpajakan dan manfaat yang dapat diperoleh dari insentif pajak. Metode yang digunakan dalam sosialisasi ini meliputi presentasi dan diskusi interaktif yang melibatkan para pelaku UMKM di lingkungan PT Danis Emran Gemilang. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan minat UMKM untuk memanfaatkan fasilitas PPh Final. Para peserta menjadi lebih sadar akan kewajiban perpajakan mereka dan manfaat kontribusi pajak bagi pembangunan negara. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini berhasil mencapai tujuan utamanya dalam membangun budaya kepatuhan pajak di kalangan UMKM.
