Abstract

ABSTRACT The most common psychosis disorder is hallucinations, with the most common type of hallucination being auditory hallucinations. Treating auditory hallucinations with non-pharmacological therapy, is considered safer because it uses physiological processes that do not cause side effects like drugs. One of the non-pharmacological therapies that can be used is music therapy. This research aims to look at the application of music therapy to treat auditory hallucinations. This research uses a literature study method with secondary data from previous research obtained from 483 journals adjusted to inclusion and exclusion criteria, with publication years 2014-2024, which were determined by researchers through searches using online databases, namely Pubmed, Garuda, and the Google Scholar search engine. From the analysis, we found 8 journals of music therapy techniques that can reduce or reduce signs and symptoms in patients with auditory hallucinations, including classical music in general, Mozart classical music, and traditional Turkish music. From writing this literature review, music therapy in general can reduce the symptoms of auditory hallucinations.  Suggestion: It is hoped that this literature review can be a reference for health practitioners, especially mental health nurses, to be able to implement music therapy interventions as actions that are given continuously as non-pharmacological therapy. Keywords: Hallucinations, Hearing, Music Therapy.  ABSTRAK Gangguan psikosis yang paling umum adalah halusinasi, dengan jenis halusinasi yang paling banyak yaitu halusinasi pendengaran. Abstract

ABSTRACT Having a child with cancer represents s significant challenge and traumatic experience for parent who must face the burden as caregivers. During treatment at shelter houses, parents are influenced by various factors affecting resilience and quality of life such as social and spiritual support. Research examining the relationship between resilience and quality of life among parents with cancer children at shelter houses remains limited. This research aims to identify the relationship between resilience and quality of life in parents with cancer children at shelter houses. The research employs a correlational analytical design with a cross-sectional approach, involving 74 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The instruments used were CDC-RISC (validity=0,83, reliability=0,917) to measure resilience and WHOQOL-BREF (validity =0.798, reliability=0.941) to measure quality of life. Data analysis was conducted using the Spearman correlation test. Result indicate that most parents have relatively resilience and quality of life. A significant correlation exists between resilience and quality of life (p=0,000, r=0,413). This indicates that increasing resilience can improve quality of life. It is important to develop intervention programs to enhance resilience and quality of life for parents with cancer children in shelter houses. Nurses can play role in early screening, coping strategy and stress management education, quality life support, and multidisciplinary collaboration for holistic interventions. Keywords: Parents, Pediatric Cancer, Quality of Life, Resilience  ABSTRAK Memiliki anak dengan sakit kanker merupakan tantangan besar dan pengalaman traumatis bagi orang tua yang harus menghadapi beban sebagai caregiver. Abstract

The prevalence of convicts who abuse drugs continues to increase. Motivation is one of the main factors that hinders the recovery process. The role of nurses is crucial in handling efforts to improve recovery. The nursing intervention that can be carried out is Positive Self-Talk. Positive Self-Talk provides encouragement and motivation to make changes to individuals. The aim of the research is to determine the effect of positive self-talk on motivation to recover in prisoners who are victims of drug abuse. The research method used is quasi experimental with a pre-test and post-test with control group research design. The number of samples was 80 respondents with 40 respondents in the control group and 40 respondents in the intervention group who were drug users in Class II B Prison. The research was conducted over 7 days with 14 meetings and involved daily self-reports twice a day, in the morning and evening, using the University of Rhode Assessment Scale (URICA) questionnaire. Data analysis used univariate tests and bivariate tests, namely the Wilcoxon test and the Mann-Whitney test. The pre-test showed that 67.5% of the control group and 65% of the intervention group were in the precontemplation stage. However, the post-test showed significant changes with 57.5% of the control group moving to the contemplation stage, while 75.5% of the intervention group were at that stage. The results of the Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney U tests strengthened significant differences between groups (p-value < 0.001). positive self-talk has a significant influence on motivation in drug abuse convicts. For further research to measure the precision of the effectiveness of the Positive Self-Talk intervention, it can be done by increasing the duration of the intervention. The recommendation is to integrate positive self-talk as an important part of the rehabilitation program by providing training to counselors in its application.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Situational low self-esteem is a type of negative self-evaluation in response to the current situation. Unresolved situational low self-esteem can cause clients to experience chronic low self-esteem. To overcome the problem of situational low self-esteem, telenursing can be used as a strategy. Telenursing is the use of information and communication technology to provide and support individual health care. A 20-year-old client experienced dating violence by her ex-boyfriend. This made her insecure. This condition is exacerbated by the loss of the client by his current boyfriend. As a result of this incident, the client experienced a decrease in appetite which caused the client to faint and was taken to the health center. One strategy that can be used by a nurse is telenursing. The purpose of telenursing is to make it easier for nurses to carry out nursing care. With the use of telenursing strategies, clients are more open about their conditions. Researchers can also easily follow up on conditions and intervene to deal with stress and low self-esteem disorders experienced by clients. Telenursing can be done to make it easier for nurses to carry out nursing care, but nurses must also have the ability to assess the condition of clients who require visits or referrals to health services.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Interventions for hallucination patients include recognizing hallucinations, and teaching patients to challenge hallucinations. Factors that influence the client's ability to control hallucinations are the client's response attitude towards hallucinations. The generalist interventions of shaming are done with coping strengthening and motivation as a therapy to change maladaptive thoughts and focus the mind. This case report aims to evaluate coping strategies and motivational reinforcement in an intervention to control auditory hallucinations. This paper was written using the case report method of scientific monitoring days in nursing care. A 15-year-old female client was admitted to the psychiatric hospital with complaints of talking to herself and attempted suicide by cutting her wrist veins. The client did not complain of physical problems. Based on the results of the assessment, the client appeared to be daydreaming and talking to herself. Clients are given generalist therapy to block hallucinations to strengthen motivation and coping. Motivational and coping strengthening was carried out by encouraging the client to convince himself that the hallucinations he heard were not real and encouraging the client to change his beliefs and thoughts to something positive such as the client's ability. This intervention focuses the mind to focus on the real thing around the client and convinces the self to ignore the hallucinatory sound by "stopping" following the sound. The results of the intervention on the client after the client's action can do how to rebuke by convincing themselves, managing thoughts about the sounds they hear are not real. The intervention of hallucinatory rebuking with motivational and coping reinforcement can increase the client's belief in unreal hallucinatory sounds, this intervention is performed as an additional intervention strategy of rebuking in clients with auditory hallucination disorder. Keywords: Auditory Hallucinations, Coping Strategies, Motivation, Schizophrenia

Abstract

ABSTRACT Academic burnout is defined as a persistent feeling of exhaustion caused by pressure during study, feelings of pessimism when performing tasks, and thoughts that continue to feel inadequate. One of the factors that can affect academic burnout is social support. Social support is the feeling that individuals feel loved, cared for, valued, and considered important by people who play a role in their lives. This study aims to determine the relationship between social support and academic burnout among undergraduate students of the Faculty of Nursing at Padjadjaran University. The research method used is the quantitative method with proportionate stratified random sampling. The samples taken in this study amounted to 258 students. The sample reported a high level of social support (60.5%) and moderate level of academic burnout (90.3%). Most respondents have a moderate level of exhaustion (60.5%) and low cynicism (72.9%), while in the dimension of reduced academic efficacy, the moderate and high categories are equal (49.6%). The results show social support is negatively correlated with academic burnout. However, the correlations identified were relatively weak. Another finding in this study is that there is a significant negative correlation between exhaustion and social support and a significant positive correlation between reduced of academic efficacy and social support. This means that social support has a role towards academic burnout in the exhaustion and reduced of academic efficacy dimensions. Future studies are expected to identify or explore other predictors of burnout, such as self-concept, role conflict and role ambiguity, and isolation, or identify ways to prevent and reduce burnout based on factors that have been identified in nursing students. Keywords: Academic Burnout, Nursing Students, Social Support
