Abstract

Background: Cyberbullying in adolescents may cause depression, decreased academic achievement, withdrawal from the environment, family and the presence of suicidal ideation. The success of teachers in dealing with cyberbullying is unknown.Objective: To explore the Guidance and Counseling Teachers experience in dealing with adolescents with cyberbullying incidents.Methods: This study used a qualitative descriptive approach with a phenomenological approach and data were collected through in-depth interviews with 8 Guidance and Counseling Teachers who deal with adolescents with cyberbullying incidents. Data analysis in this study used the Colaizzi method.Results: In this study, there were five essential themes in this research including cyberbullying is not a serious problem, various problems faced in dealing with cyberbullying, emotional responses to cyberbullying victims, cyberbullying victims are weak emotional mentality students and lack of coordination between parents, teachers subjects and Guidance and Counseling teachers.Conclusion: The problem of cyberbullying has considered as unserious problem and there is a lack of coordination between parents, subject teachers and guidance and counseling teachers. So that special training is needed to deal with cyberbullying, there are guidelines, clear cyberbullying prevention strategies and the existence of government agencies that specifically handle cyberbullying case.

Abstract

Guru pada pendidikan inklusi memiliki tanggung jawab yang berbeda dengan guru pada sekolah umum karena harus berinteraksi langsung baik dengan Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK) maupun Anak reguler yang tentunya memiliki perbedaan karakteristik. Guru memerlukan pengetahuan dan kemampuan khusus untuk menangani, mengajar dan membimbing Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK). Hal tersebut menjadi tanggung jawab besar untuk guru sekolah inklusi yang dapat meningkatkan tingkat stres kerja.Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat stres kerja guru di sekolah inklusi berdasarjan karakteristik responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini merupakan 73 guru di SD Hikmah teladan dengan penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur Teacher Stres Inventory (TSI) untuk mengukur tingkat stres kerja guru. Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah sebagian besar guru di sekolah inklusi SD Hikmah teladan mengalami stres kerja dengan distribusi kategori sebagai berikut. Terdapat 38,4% guru mengalami stres sedang, 28,8% mengalami stres tinggi, dan 1,4% responden mengalami stres yang sangat tinggi. Namun terdapat pula responden yang hanya mengalami stres ringan (23,3%) dan stres sangat ringan (8,2%). Berdasarkan penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa guru yang mengajar di sekolah inklusi sebagian besar mengalami stres yang cukup tinggi. Kata kunci: Guru, Sekolah Inklusi, Stres Kerja

Abstract

Aims: The aim of this study is to assist individuals in healing from addiction; it is essential to implement a combination of interventions, such as CBT, that are proven to be effective in treating drug abuse with a holistic approach that integrates psychological and social aspects for optimal results, according to empirical evidence. Methods: The search databases for this study were PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar. Identify articles published in the last 10 years (2014-2024), Randomized Control Trials (RCTs), English and Indonesian, Full-Text, and Teenagers to the Elderly. Using the PRISMA flowchart, data extraction and scoping with keywords (English): "Drug Addict OR Substance Abuse AND Cognitive Behaviour Therapy AND Dependence OR Substance-Related Disorder" and keywords in the Indonesian language "Pecandu Narkoba OR Penyalahguna Zat AND Cognitive Behaviour Therapy AND Ketergantungan OR Gangguan Terkait Zat". Results: The study found eight articles that met the criteria, the main findings showed the use of Modified Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (M-CBT) in enhancing recovery motivation among cocaine-dependent individuals. Interventions such as galantamine, C-CBT, and computer-based CBT also show promise in reducing cocaine use. Additionally, combining CBT with contingency management (CM) facilitates changes in neural activity related to cognitive control. CBT paired with MET+ABI+ATTI and Female-Specific CBT (FS-CBT) effectively addresses alcohol use in adolescents and women.  Conclusion: Current study highlights various CBT approaches that can be combined, such as M-CBT for cocaine independence and computer-based CBT, as well as the combination of CBT with contingent management that influences neural activity related to cognitive control.

Abstract

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) is a deviant behavior that is not in accordance with the norms in society. Nursing students as prospective nurses will deal with a variety of patients including LGBT patients so it is necessary to have a negative perception of LGBT that does not justify LGBT but does not counter LGBT excessively which triggers the tendency to behave discriminatory towards LGBT. The purpose of this study was to determine the perception of nursing students about LGBT. The research method used was descriptive quantitative with propotionate stratified random sampling technique on a sample of 302 nursing students from 2019 to 2022. The instrument used was the perception of LGBT questionnaire with the validity test value of the calculated r value (0.30-0.67) ≥ r table (0.23) and the reliability test value of the Cronbach Alpha coefficient ≥ 0.632 with the result of 0.819. Data analysis using univariate techniques. The results showed 54.6% of students had a very negative perception and 0.3% were very positive. This means that most respondents view LGBT as a health problems and deviation. It is expected that the faculty and religious organizations on campus can provide a lot of information and adequate materials about LGBT.Keywords: LGBT, Perception, higher Students education

Abstract

Skizofrenia merupakan penyakit yang menyebabkan terganggunya pikiran, persepsi, emosi, gerakan dan perilaku, serta dapat berkembang menjadi skizoafektif dengan gejala halusinasi (70% mengalami halusinasi pendengaran). Psikoterapi yang dapat digunakan untuk mengontrol halusinasi adalah terapi bercakap-cakap dan menulis. Terapi bercakap-cakap dapat mengalihkan halusinasi pasien kepada percakapan yang dilakukan dengan orang lain. Sedangkan, terapi menulis berfokus pada normalisasi proses berpikir, membantu klien memahami gejala, dan berfokus pada interaksi sosial. Kedua terapi ini menjadi usaha seseorang dalam menyingkirkan gejala menyimpang agar dapat memecahkan masalahnya. Seorang pasien berusia 23 tahun, kondisi ditinggal kerja suami di luar kota dan sedang hamil 7 bulan (G1P0A0) di RSJ X, sering berbicara sendiri sambil mendekatkan telinga ke salah satu sisi tubuh, tersenyum sendiri, bahkan marah-marah sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran terapi bercakap-cakap dan menulis dalam mengontrol halusinasi pada pasien. Metode yang digunakan adalah case report dengan pendekatan asuhan keperawatan. Setelah dilakukan intervensi selama 4 hari untuk terapi bercakap-cakap dan 2 hari untuk terapi menulis, terdapat penurunan kejadian halusinasi pada pasien selama perawatan. Intervensi dilakukan sebagai pelengkap intervensi disamping pemberian terapi farmakologi. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah intervensi bercakap-cakap dan menulis mampu membantu pasien dalam mengontrol halusinasi dan dapat mencegah kegawatan janin pada pasien dengan usia kehamilan 7 bulan.

Abstract

Retardasi mental merupakan kondisi kurangnya intelegensia dengan karakteristik seperti kurangnya daya ingat, konsentrasi, serta perilaku agresif yang tidak terkontrol. Kondisi tersebut dapat mengarah pada masalah kesehatan jiwa risiko perilaku kekerasan yang seringkali beriringan dengan halusinasi. Prevalensi psikosa dalam kurun waktu seumur hidup lebih tinggi terjadi pada individu dengan disabilitas intelektual ringan, hal tersebut dapat berisiko timbulnya gejala psikosa berulang. Seorang pasien laki-laki berusia 19 tahun dengan riwayat retardasi mental ringan dilakukan perawatan di RSJ X akibat mengamuk dan mengatakan halusinasi kembali muncul. Gejala tersebut terjadi berulang sejak pasien berusia 15 tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan halusinasi dan perilaku kekerasan pasien retardasi mental ringan. Asuhan keperawatan dilakukan dengan memberikan upaya pengontrolan halusinasi dan perilaku kekerasan melalui latihan asertif. Hasil studi menunjukkan pasien RM ringan memiliki kecenderungan kurangnya pengontrolan emosi dan berulang kali mengalami gejala psikosa yakni halusinasi penglihatan berupa melihat bayangan seseorang atau bundaran hitam serta pendengaran berupa bisikan yang mengarahkan risiko perilaku kekerasan. Hal tersebut biasa terjadi ketika sedang sendiri atau sepi. Perilaku kekerasan ditunjukkan dengan mengamuk, berteriak, dan memukul. Pasien mampu menceritakan kejadian terdahulu namun belum dapat mengontrol emosi dan halusinasinya dengan optimal. Kasus ini menggarisbawahi adanya kemungkinan karakteristik retardasi mental melatarbelakangi gejala psikotik terjadi berulang.

Abstract

Background: Bullying is a serious problem in adolescents. The negative impact of bullying is the occurrence of physical and psychological problems in adolescents. These problems can be prolonged and lead to criminal behavior in adolescents. Empathy is one of the aspects that influence bullying behavior.Purpose: to describe empathy training in reducing bullying behavior in adolescents.Method: This research design used a scoping review. Searching strategy used PRISMA Extension for Scoping Review with major keywords are empathy training, bullying, and adolescents. The databases used were CINAHL, PubMed, and google scholar. The inclusion criteria used were original research, quasi experiment design, publication period of the last 10 years (2012-2022), and using English. Data analysis used a descriptive approach.Results and Discussion: The authors found 5 articles that discuss empathy therapy in reducing bullying behavior significantly (p value 0.05). Empathy therapy is carried out with discussion activities, role playing, counseling, and using empathy therapy modules. This intervention is carried out by involving the teacher as a companion during the intervention process.Conclusion: Empathy therapy needs to be given to the perpetrator or victim so that repeated bullying behavior does not occur in adolescents. So that empathy therapy can be a reference for schools and health workers in preventing bullying in students at school.

Abstract

Background: The most common mental health problem experienced by adolescents is anxiety. Therefore, therapeutic interventions are needed, one of which is mindfulness-based interventions. This study aims to identify the types and describe the implementation of mindfulness-based interventions in overcoming anxiety in adolescents. Methods: A narrative review study design was used. The study selection process used the PRISMA Flow Diagram 2020 guide. The literature search was conducted through PubMed, Sage Journal, and Springer Link databases. Articles published from 2012 to 2021 with Randomized Controlled Trial, Quasi-Experimental, Qualitative Study, and Mixed methods study in English. According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, there were ten articles based on the election results. Results: Mindfulness-based interventions to overcome anxiety in adolescents are Learning to BREATHE, Sleep Sense, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction for Teens, Mindfulness-based programs, Mindfulness Martial Arts, and Making Friends with Yourself. Conclusion: Nurses can use mindfulness-based intervention to help adolescents cope with anxiety, including high anxiety levels, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Trait Anxiety.Keywords: adolescents, anxiety, anxiety disorders, mindfulness

Abstract

Aims: Preoperative anxiety in school-age children is an important problem for children who will carry out major surgery. When not resolved the problem results in a negative postoperative response such as higher pain, impaired sleep patterns, no appetite and changes in maladaptive behavior over the next two weeks. Pharmacological therapy is not given to psychosocial problems related to anxiety in school-aged children. So, it is necessary to trace the results of research related to non-pharmacological therapy. One of the non-pharmacological therapies used is Hypnotherapy. This study aims to analyze the effect of hypnotherapy in reducing anxiety in the preoperative phase by using the Modified Yale Preoperative Anxiety Scale (mYPAS) instrument. Hypnotherapy intervention is carried out structurally in the preoperative phase. Methods: This type of research is a Quasy Experiment with a time series design research design through pretest and posttest one group design. The technique used in this study was purposive sampling with 24 samples. Analysis of the data used consisted of univariate and bivariate. Univariates in this study describe the median while bivariate use Wilcoxon. Results: The results of the statistical analysis showed a significant difference between the anxiety test before and after the hypnotherapy intervention was given (p-value 0,0001). Conclusion: Influence of hypnotherapy to reduce the anxiety of school-age children in the preoperative phase in the Guntur room of level II Dustira Cimahi Hospital. Suggestions for nurses are expected to develop science and skills in complementary nursing and can be used as a companion intervention in overcoming preoperative anxiety in children.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This review aimed to evaluate the impact of sex education on premarital sexual behavior among adolescents. This study adopts a PCC (Population, Concept, Context) approach with an article selection method based on the PRISMA guidelines. The analysis reveals that sex education provided in schools and through digital platforms significantly contributes to improving adolescents' knowledge, attitudes, and skills in avoiding risky sexual behaviors. Several key factors that influence the effectiveness of these programs include the competence of educators, the availability of adequate resources, and the implementation of peer-based approaches. These findings highlight the importance of integrating sex education into school curricula and utilizing digital technologies as an effective means of reducing health risks associated with premarital sexual behavior in adolescents. Keywords: Sex Education, Premarital Sexual Behavior, Adolescents, Reproductive Health.  ABSTRAK Tujuan dari tinjauan naratif ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh pendidikan seksual terhadap perilaku seks pranikah pada remaja. Penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan PCC (Population, Concept, Context) dengan metode seleksi artikel yang berlandaskan pedoman PRISMA. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan seksual yang disampaikan di sekolah serta melalui platform digital secara signifikan berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan remaja dalam menghindari perilaku seksual berisiko. Beberapa faktor kunci yang mempengaruhi efektivitas program ini meliputi kompetensi pengajar, ketersediaan sumber daya yang memadai, serta penerapan pendekatan berbasis teman sebaya. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi pendidikan seksual dalam kurikulum sekolah serta pemanfaatan teknologi digital sebagai sarana efektif untuk mengurangi risiko kesehatan yang berkaitan dengan perilaku seksual pranikah pada remaja. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Seksual, Perilaku Seks Pranikah, Remaja, Kesehatan Reproduksi.
