Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya perbedaan dalam memahami konsep perkalian sebagai penjumlahan berulang. Perbedaan tersebut muncul karena pemahaman konsep perkalian yang tidak dikaitkan dengan masalah sehari-hari. Cara untuk menghubungkan konsep matematika dengan kehidupan sehari-hari adalah melalui pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melihat pengaruh pendekatan RME terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa pada materi perkalian kelas rendah. Populasinya yaitu seluruh siswa SD kelas II se-Kecamatan Sumedang Utara yang termasuk dalam kelompok unggul. Sementara sampelnya adalah siswa SDN Karapyak I kelas II A sebagai kelas tematik dan kelas II B sebagai kelas tematik dengan RME. Hasil penelitian dengan 𝛼 = 0,05, menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan tematik dengan RME lebih baik dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman matematis pada materi perkalian kelas rendahdaripada kelas tematik secara signifikan. Secara umum siswa  emberikan respon positif terhadap pembelajaran tematik dengan RME. Sementara faktor penghambatnya yaitu siswa belum terbiasa dengan pembelajaran dan aktivitas dalam pembelajaran tematik dengan RME. Kata Kunci : Tematik, Realictic Mathematics Education, Pemahaman.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the increase in mathematical problem solving ability of students with mathematics learning using the Problem-Based Learning with TAPPS strategy on 5th grader comparative material. This research method using a quasi-experimental method by nonequivalent control group design. Samples were selected in the study were students of SDN Sukaraja II 5th grader. There are various instruments used in the study, such as tests the ability of mathematical problem solving, observation formats, and the format of student questionnaire responses. Research results with a significance level (α) = 0.05 indicates that learning using the Problem-Based Learning with TAPPS strategy and conventional learning can enhance students' mathematical problem solving ability. Problem-Based Learning with TAPPS strategy significantly better than conventional learning in improving mathematical problem solving ability. Students' response to mathematics learning using Problem-Based Learning with TAPPS strategies that have been implemented relatively positive.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada pemikiran bahwa kemampuan pemahaman matematis merupakan hal yang mampu dikembangkan melalui pembelajaran nyata. Salahsatu pendekatan yang cocok untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman matematis adalah contextual teaching and learning. Adapun pembatasan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu: (1) peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman matematis menggunakan CTL; (2) peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman matematis menggunakan pendekatan konvensional; (3) perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman matematis menggunakan CTL dengan pendekatan konvensional dan (4) respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan CTL. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode the nonequivalent control group design dan termasuk jenis penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan dilakukan melalui pretes dan postes untuk melihat peningkatan terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan CTL dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa lebih baik dibandingkan pendekatan konvensional. Selain itu, siswa memberikan respon positif (baik) terhadap penggunaan CTL dengan menyatakan menyenangi dan ikut aktif dalam CTL.Kata kunci: pembelajaran menggunakan CTL, pendekatan konvensional kemampuan pemahaman matematis, respon siswa

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh pendekatan kontekstual berstrategi TTW dan pendekatan konvensional serta membuktikan bahwa pendekatan kontekstual berstrategi TTW lebih baik daripada pendekatan konvensional terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Metode yang digunakan yaitu kuasi eksperimen dengan desain the nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas IV SD se-kecamatan Cisarua. Sementara sampelnya adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Cisalak IV sebagai kelas eksperimen dan Cisalak II sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis, lembar observasi aktivitas siswa dan kinerja guru, angket dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian dengan taraf signifikansi  = 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan kontekstual berstrategi TTW dan pendekatan konvensional memberikan pengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa serta pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual berstrategi TTW lebih baik secara signifikan daripada pendekatan konvensional terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPA pada materi peristiwa alam dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan pembelajaran konvensional. Metode yang digunakan metode eksperimen dengan pretest-posttest control group design. Sampelnya kelas V SDN Karangpawulang sebagai kelas eksperimen dan SDN Cilimbangan sebagai kelas kontrol. dengan menggunakan tes hasil belajar, format observasi kinerja guru, format observasi aktivitas peserta didik, dan  format wawancara peserta didik kelas eksperimen. Uji beda rata-rata menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan pembelajaran secara konvensional memperoleh P-value (Sig.2-tailed) senilai 0,000 dengan taraf signifikasi α=0.05.  Disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran IPA dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan pembelajaran konvensional dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA peserta didik pada materi peristiwa alam. Pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah lebih baik dibandingkan model pembelajaran konvensional. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil perhitungan uji rata-rata perhitungan n-gain kelas eksperimen yang memperoleh nilai 0,70 dan rata-rata perhitungan n-gain kelas kontol yang memperoleh nilai 0,60. Kata Kunci: model pembelajaran berbasis masalah, model pembelajaran konvensional, hasil belajar IPA

Abstract

The basic principle of Olympism aims to make sport as a harmonious human development tool to create a peaceful society and to respect human dignity. The purpose of this study was to investigate the Olympism values in the context of a positive development of the youth, as well as the historical journey of basketball development including the competition system which has been running before. The research method used was descriptive method by employing document review and semi-structured interviews as the instruments to obtain data. The results of this study revealed how the basic principles of Olympism are applied as an approach in basketball coaching in the context of the positive development of youth. The responses of parents, builders, and coaches regarding the new approach in the basketball coaching system are explored and discussed deeply.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the joint motion kinetics of the shoulders, elbows, and wrists between experienced player (skilled player) group and unskilled player group when performing overhead standing smash in badminton game. The samples involved were 26 samples. The samples included 13 male badminton players joining Student Activity Unit who had achieved many achievements and had a high skill (skilled), while the other 13 samples were unskilled players, involving students who had just studied under one year. The mean of participants’ age was 19.4 ± 1.6 years, height was 1.73 ± 0.12m, and body weight was 62.8 ± 3.7kg. This study used 3 Panasonic Handycams, a calibration set, 3D Frame DIAZ IV motion analysis software, and a speed radar gun. Normalization of the kinetic motion score of the shoulder, elbow, and wrist joints was calculated using the inverse dynamics method. The t-test was used to determine the significance of motion kinetic difference of the two different groups. The results presented that the shuttlecock speed of the skilled player group, during the overhead standing smash, showed a significant difference. Meanwhile, the joint motion of the inferior shoulder force, shoulder anterior force, shoulder internal rotation torque, shoulder horizontal abduction torque, elbow anterior force, and wrist flexion torque were higher in the skilled players group than the unskilled player group.

Abstract

Multimedia pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang mendukung pembelajaran Abad 21 serta sesuai dengan kurikulum 2013 masih kurang tersedia. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan multimedia pembelajaran berbasis WhatsApp terhadap kreativitas peserta didik pada materi pelestarian tanaman. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni Design Based Research (DBR). Instrumen yang digunakan yakni multimedia pembelajaran berbasis WhatsApp, lembar validasi, dan angket. Multimedia diuji cobakan kepada peserta didik kelas IV SDN Panyingkiran III yang terletak di Kecamatan Sumedang Utara, Sumedang, Jawa Barat. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh data bahwa 86,7% peserta didik “sangat kreatif” dan 13,3% peserta didik “kreatif”, respon peserta didik 95% positif, serta hasil validasi judgement “sangat valid” (validasi materi 86% dan validasi desain 82,69%). Hasil akhir dari penelitian adalah multimedia yang telah di validasi dan dapat digunakan oleh pendidik sebagai media pembelajaran materi pelestarian tanaman.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in the effect of superset and circuit training models on changes in fat mass and increased muscle mass in men. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. The research design used in this study is an experimental The Randomized Pretest-Posttest Control Group design. The sample of this study amounted to 20 men, In this study the sample was selected using the Purposive Sampling technique on members of SOSI SPORT CLUB Bandung City. Collecting data in this study using Karada Scan Body Composition HBF‑375. Statistical calculations in testing the hypothesis were carried out using SPSS 21.0 with Independent Sample T-Test testing to see a comparison between the experimental group and the control group. The results of data analysis and calculations reveal that there is an effect of superset training on reducing fat mass, There is an effect of superset training on increasing muscle mass, There is an effect of circuit training on reducing fat mass, There is an effect of circuit training on increasing muscle mass, There is a difference in the effect of the comparison of superset and circuit training models on fat mass reduction, There is a difference in the effect of the comparison of superset and circuit training models on increasing muscle mass. The conclusion of this study is that the superset and circuit training models have an effect on reducing fat mass and increasing muscle mass in men.

Abstract

This study aims to look at differences in motivation and physical intensity in junior high school students through tactical and technical learning models in invasion games. This study used an experimental method with a post-test control group design. Sample selection using cluster random sampling was chosen to determine the experimental group and the control group. Each class consists of 24 students. From each class 8 students were taken (4 men; 4 women) because of the limited availability of the Polar Global Positioning System (GPS) instrument. Student motivation is measured using a questionnaire. Data is processed using independent sample t-test. The results showed that there were differences in the motivation and intensity of student movements in the tactical and technical learning model groups. The intensity and motivation of students in the tactical learning model group is higher than the technical learning model. The implications of this study can be used as empirical data related to motivation and intensity of movement influenced by tactical learning models in invasion games. So that the achievement of physical fitness can be obtained by taking into account the intensity of student movement during the Physical Education learning objectively.
