Abstract

Kehadiran mahasiswa melalui Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) diharapkan dapat membantu menyelesaikan isu-isu yang ada dalam masyarakat. Selain itu, terutama diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat mlealui pemanfaatan sumber daya lokal agar bernilai jual tinggi. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini berupa KKN yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa beserta Dosen Pendamping Lapangan (DPL) di Desa Werwaru pada tanggal 13 Juli – 13 September 2023. Program kerja mahasiswa KKN terbagi atas 3, yaitu program prioritas, program unggulan, dan program pendampingan. Tingkat keterlaksanaan program kerja mahasiswa KKN diukur melalui angket Tingkat Kepuasan Masyarakat (TKM) yang diisi oleh 10 orang perwakilan masyarakat. Pelaksanaan KKN ini terdiri atas observasi awal, penyampaian rencana program kerja, pelaksanaan program kerja, dan evaluasi. Program kerja mahasiswa KKN di desa Werwaru berjalan dengan baik sesuai dengan harapan masyarakat. Hal ini berdasarkan nilai Tingkat Kepuasan Masyarakat terhadap keterlaksanaan program kerja mahasiswa KKN di desa Werwaru. Program kerja mahasiswa KKN dapat membantu masyarakat dalam menyelesaikan isu-isu yang ada dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat.

Abstract

Stroke is one of the leading causes of death and disability worldwide, affecting quality of life, daily activities, and both physical and psychological health. Prevention and early detection of stroke are crucial to reduce the risk of complications and long-term disability. This study aimed to increase community awareness about stroke prevention and early detection through an educational program at Puskesmas Rawat Inap Mampu PONED Kibang Budi Jaya on September 28, 2025. The method used was an educational and participatory approach, including pretest-posttest assessments, interactive health education, demonstrations of early stroke detection using the FAST (Face, Arm, Speech, Time) method, and discussion with practical simulations. The results showed a significant improvement in community knowledge, with an average increase of 50% in understanding stroke, recognizing its symptoms, and first aid measures. Before the intervention, only 25–40% of participants knew the correct first aid steps, which increased to 80–85% after the educational program. These findings indicate that interactive health education supported by educational media effectively enhances the community's ability to recognize stroke symptoms and respond with timely and appropriate first aid. This program can serve as a model for community-based interventions for primary prevention and early detection of stroke.

Abstract

Ethnomathematics connects mathematical concepts with cultural practices, making learning more contextual and meaningful. However, studies in small border islands remain limited, despite their rich cultural heritage. One example is Koli leaf weaving on Letti Island, which reflects mathematical ideas in daily life. This study aims to conduct an ethnomathematical study of Koli leaf-woven objects on small border islands using a qualitative ethnographic approach that includes literature review, observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data is analyzed using content analysis, thematic analysis, and pattern recognition. The findings reveal that Koli leaf weaving involves mathematical concepts, including plane shapes (triangles, circles, hexagons) and solid shapes (hexagonal prisms, cylinders). These findings imply that local cultural artifacts can serve as contextual learning resources in mathematics and science education. The geometric patterns of Koli leaf weaving can be used in geometry lessons to strengthen students’ mathematical literacy, critical thinking, and appreciation of local culture. This research also has implications for the preservation of local knowledge and the development of culture-based mathematics education on small border islands.

Abstract

Guru-guru di wilayah Pulau Moa, Kabupaten Maluku Barat Daya, menghadapi kendala dalam menyusun perangkat pembelajaran yang kontekstual, inovatif, dan berbasis budaya lokal karena keterbatasan akses pelatihan serta pemanfaatan teknologi. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, dilakukan kegiatan pelatihan penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis etnopedagogi dan deep learning berbantuan teknologi kecerdasan buatan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai budaya lokal ke dalam pembelajaran serta memanfaatkan teknologi digital untuk mendukung pembelajaran mendalam. Pelatihan dilaksanakan secara tatap muka di Aula PSDKU Universitas Pattimura Kabupaten Maluku Barat Daya selama tiga hari, melibatkan 100 guru dari enam sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan meliputi ceramah interaktif, demonstrasi, dan praktik langsung dalam penyusunan perangkat ajar menggunakan aplikasi ChatGPT, Gemini, Canva, Quizizz, Kahoot!, dan Gamma AI. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam merancang perangkat pembelajaran yang kreatif, kontekstual, dan berbasis teknologi. Kegiatan ini berkesimpulan bahwa pendekatan etnopedagogi dan deep learning berbantuan teknologi efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik serta literasi digital guru di wilayah kepulauan perbatasan. Model pelatihan ini berpotensi direplikasi di wilayah perbatasan lainnya sebagai strategi pemberdayaan berkelanjutan bagi guru di daerah 3T

Abstract

Kajian ini mendiagnosis kegagalan hakikat dalam Pendidikan Islam kontemporer, di mana orientasi kurikulum berbasis standar mewujudkan rasionalitas teknokratis yang secara sistemik mereduksi keutuhan manusia (budi pekerti). Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah ketercerabutan spiritual yang nyata, ditandai oleh dominasi pengukuran kognitif yang mengabaikan dimensi rasa dan karsa. Tujuan fundamental penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dampak instrumental standar terhadap tujuan spiritual, serta merumuskan terapi filosofis berbasis Pendidikan yang Memerdekakan. Menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan analitis-kritis (content analysis mendalam), hasil pembahasan mengungkap bahwa hegemoni standar membelenggu inisiasi batin peserta didik dan mengkhianati peran pemimpin spiritual guru (Ing Ngarsa Sung Tuladha). Rekomendasi teoretis yang diajukan adalah revitalisasi Tri Sentra Pendidikan dan tuntutan agar kebijakan bergeser dari visi kuantitatif (angka) menuju visi kualitatif (watak). Implikasi utama dari temuan ini adalah kebutuhan mendesak untuk mengembalikan budi pekerti sebagai sumbu sentral guna menghindari kelahiran generasi yang cerdas akal namun miskin secara jiwa, sebuah tragedi bagi peradaban.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis etnomatematika anyaman daun koli menggunakan aplikasi canva pada materi bangun ruang sisi lengkung. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan model 4D, meliputi tahap Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas siswa kelas IXF (9 siswa) sebagai uji keterbacaan, IXA (29 siswa) sebagai uji coba lapangan, serta dua guru matematika dan satu dosen pendidikan matematika sebagai validator. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar validasi, lembar keterbacaan, angket respons siswa, dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil validasi ahli menunjukkan media berada pada kategori sangat valid dengan rata-rata 96%. Uji keterbacaan dan respon siswa memperoleh rata-rata 95,10% sehingga media dinyatakan praktis. Efektivitas media ditinjau dari peningkatan hasil belajar melalui perhitungan N-gain dengan nilai 0,76 (76,27%), termasuk kategori tinggi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media berbasis etnomatematika anyaman daun koli yang dikembangkan melalui canva efektif meningkatkan pemahaman konsep bangun ruang sisi lengkung sekaligus mendukung pembelajaran kontekstual sesuai Kurikulum Merdeka. Media ini layak digunakan dan berpotensi dikembangkan pada materi matematika lainnya berbasis budaya lokal.

Abstract

The low mathematical literacy skills of junior high school students in Indonesia, especially those living in the Small Border Islands, require serious attention from various stakeholders. Improving students’ mathematical literacy is a shared responsibility that can begin with introducing the form of PISA mathematical literacy questions to junior high school students. One effort to achieve this is through an ethnomathematics-based mathematical literacy competition. This competition aims to provide knowledge and understanding of PISA mathematical literacy to students in the Small Border Islands, particularly on Moa Island. The activity was carried out as a form of community service by lecturers and students, consisting of four stages: initial observation, socialization, implementation, and evaluation. The participants of this competition were students from seven junior high schools on Moa Island, with a total of 57 participants. The increase in participants’ knowledge regarding PISA mathematical literacy question forms was measured using a questionnaire. The results showed an improvement in participants’ understanding before and after participating in the competition. However, test data also indicated that the mathematical literacy skills of students on Moa Island remain relatively low. Therefore, sustainable programs are needed to improve the mathematical literacy skills of students in the Small Border Islands, including Moa Island.

Abstract

Desa Werwaru merupakan salah satu desa yang menjadi lokasi KKN mahasiswa PSDKU Universitas Pattimura. Mayoritas masyarakat Werwaru bekerja sebagai petani jagung dan kacang tanah. Kana tetapi, masyarakat masih kurang mengoptimalkan pengolahan dan pemasaran hasil produksi pertanian. Kurang optimalnya pengolahan dan pemasaran hasil produksi pertanian diantaranya karena tidak aktifnya BUMDes Werwaru. Oleh karena itu, mahasiswa KKN berinisiatif untuk mengadakan program pelatihan pembuatan olahan produk lokal berbahan dasar jagung dan kacang tanah yang diberi nama Ruhun Mulgera Jaya Snack. Program ini bertujuan untuk menambah wawasan masyarakat werwaru mengenai cara pengolahan jagung dan kacang tanah serta mengaktifkan kembali BUMDes Werwaru sehingga kesejahteraan masyarakat dapat meningkat. Program pelatihan pembuatan olahan produk lokal ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 19 – 21 Juli 2023. Program ini diikuti oleh masyarakat dan pengelolah BUMDes Werwaru. Tahapan kegiatan terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan berjalan dengan baik dan peserta pelatihan antusias dan penuh semangat dalam membuat produk Ruhun Mulgera Jaya Snack. Produk yang dihasilkan selanjutnya diserahkan secara resmi kepada pengelolah BUMDes Werwaru. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi setelah pelatihan selesai, diperoleh bahwa masyarakat peserta pelatihan telah mengetahui dan dapat membuat olahan produk lokal berbahan dasar jagung dan kacang tanah seperti produk Ruhun Mulgera Jaya Snack.

Abstract

Elementary school students grow within rapidly changing social and digital environments where ethical behavior is not formed automatically but requires intentional educational intervention. Ethical awareness defined as the ability to distinguish right from wrong, consider the consequences of actions, and act according to moral values has therefore become a critical objective of basic education. This study aims to analyze the influence of Value-Based Learning and Santri Self Reflection on the ethical awareness of elementary school students. A quantitative explanatory cross sectional survey design was employed involving 91 students from Grades IV-VI at Daarul Mutqin Elementary School, Bogor, Indonesia. Data were collected using validated and reliable Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS. The results indicate that Value-Based Learning has a positive and significant effect on ethical awareness. More importantly, Santri Self Reflection shows a stronger and more dominant influence. Simultaneously, both variables significantly predict ethical awareness with a contribution of 45.5% (R²=0.455), indicating a substantial explanatory power in educational and behavioral research. These findings demonstrate that ethical awareness is most effectively developed through the integration of consistent value habituation and structured self-reflective practices adapted from santri educational traditions. This study contributes to the literature by extending reflective moral learning into elementary education and offers a culturally grounded pedagogical model for strengthening character education in formal schools.

Abstract

This study comparatively examines the Philosophy of Education of Muhammadiyah and the Philosophy of Western Education to map the ontological, epistemological, axiological foundations, and their implications for educational goals, curriculum, and praxis. The main focus of the study is to trace the meeting points and differences between the Muhammadiyah educational paradigm which is rooted in the principles of monotheism, tajdid (renewal), and the orientation of social charity, and the mainstream of Western educational philosophy that develops through the traditions of humanism, progressivism, pragmatism, and critical pedagogy. The research uses a qualitative method based on library research with a comparative analysis design. Data was obtained through the study of key documents and texts, including Muhammadiyah educational decisions and thoughts, as well as representative works of Western educational philosophy. Data were analyzed using content analysis techniques and thematic comparison frameworks to assess concept coherence, value orientation, and practical consequences. The results of the study show that both traditions emphasize the formation of empowered, rational, and progressive human beings; however, Muhammadiyah places the transcendental dimension and prophetic ethics as the center of educational orientation, while many Western schools tend to affirm human autonomy, the secularity of knowledge, and the relativity of values in a historical-sociological framework. These findings affirm the importance of an integrative-critical approach in formulating modern and valuable education, as well as offering a conceptual model to strengthen the relevance of Muhammadiyah education in the global context without losing its normative identity.
