Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Model Discovery Learning Berbantuan Quizizz terhadap Pemahaman Prosedural pada materi Operasi Bentuk Aljabar Di SMP Negeri 8 Pematangsiantar. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis pre-eksperimental karena hanya menggunakan satu kelompok yang diberi perlakuan tanpa adanya kelompok kontrol pembanding. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dari model Discovery Learning berbantuan Quizizz terhadap pemahaman prosedural siswa di kelas VII SMP Negeri 8 Pematangsiantar T.A 2025/2026. Pengaruh yang positif ditunjukkan melalui persamaan regresi ???? = 26,160 + 0,252X, artinya setiap penambahan 1 skor model Discovery Learning berbantuan Quizizz, maka pemahaman prosedural siswa akan meningkat sebesar 0,252. Pengaruh yang signifikan ditunjukkan melalui uji-t, yaitu, diperoleh nilai = 20.800 > 2,048 dan dengan menggunakan koefisien determinasi dapat dilihat besar pengaruh berdasarkan nilai signifikansi (sig.) dan nilai nilai R Square diperoleh sebesar 0,52 atau 52%, sehingga dapat dilihat besar pengaruh X (model Discovery Learning berbantuan Quizizz) terhadap variabel Y (pemahaman prosedural) adalah sebesar 52%.

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh model Discovery Learning berbantuan GeoGebra terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa pada materi persamaan garis lurus. Metode penelitian menggunakan desain pre-eksperimental tipe one-shot case study dengan subjek 30 siswa kelas VIII-6 SMP Negeri 1 Siantar. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes pilihan ganda dan angket persepsi siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa 87,93 lebih tinggi dari KKM (80). Uji t menunjukkan sig. = 0,000 < 0,05, sedangkan uji regresi menghasilkan R² = 0,795 dengan sig. = 0,000. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan Discovery Learning berbantuan Geogebra berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa

Memahami konsep laju reaksi merupakan kompetensi penting dalam pembelajaran kimia karena menjadi dasar pemahaman kinetika kimia dan aplikasinya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan industri. Namun, berbagai penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa masih mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep ini karena sifatnya yang abstrak, multi-representatif, dan membutuhkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam dampak penerapan model pembelajaran Deep Learning terhadap pemahaman konseptual dan prestasi belajar siswa dalam materi laju reaksi melalui studi literatur sistematis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis artikel jurnal nasional dan internasional yang relevan dari 10 tahun terakhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Deep Learning secara konsisten meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual, keterampilan berpikir kritis, dan hasil belajar siswa dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Strategi pembelajaran seperti pembelajaran kontekstual, diskusi reflektif, penyelidikan terbimbing, dan pemecahan masalah autentik telah terbukti efektif dalam membantu siswa membangun pemahaman konseptual yang mendalam. Oleh karena itu, model pembelajaran Deep Learning direkomendasikan sebagai pendekatan inovatif dan relevan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran laju reaksi.

Pembelajaran pecahan di sekolah dasar masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, terutama rendahnya pemahaman konsep siswa akibat pembelajaran yang bersifat abstrak dan kurang kontekstual. Salah satu solusi yang Dditawarkan adalah integrasi pembelajaran matematika dengan bantuan alat peraga berbasis budaya lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh integrasi etnomatematika melalui alat peraga payet (manik-manik) terhadap pemahaman konsep pecahan siswa sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimen tipe pretest–posttest control group. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar yang dibagi menjadi kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen menerima pembelajaran pecahan berbasis etnomatematika menggunakan alat peraga payet, sedangkan kelas kontrol menerima pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes pemahaman konsep pecahan yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik inferensial, termasuk uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji perbedaan rata-rata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan dalam pemahaman konsep pecahan antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan alat peraga payet berbasis etnomatematika dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Dengan demikian, integrasi etnomatematika melalui alat peraga payet terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep pecahan siswa sekolah dasar.

This study aims to determine the effect of project-based learning on students' conceptual understanding abilities in the topic of cylindrical three-dimensional shapes in junior high school. The type of research used is quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research subjects consisted of 64 students, divided into an experimental class and a control class, each comprising 32 students. The research instrument was a conceptual understanding ability test consisting of essay questions. The data were analysed using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, Levene's Test for homogeneity, and the independent two-sample t-test. The results showed that the posttest data of both classes were normally distributed and had homogeneous variances. The t-test indicated a significant difference between the conceptual understanding abilities of students in the experimental and control classes (Sig. = 0.006 < 0.05), with the experimental class posttest mean being higher. This indicates that project-based learning is effective in enhancing students' conceptual understanding skills. Project-based learning provides contextual learning experiences, encourages active student engagement, and strengthens meaningful understanding of mathematical concepts.

This study aims to describe the use of keteng-keteng musical instruments as a medium for teaching mathematics on the subject of curved tube shapes in ninth grade junior high school. The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with ninth grade junior high school students as the research subjects. Data collection was carried out through observation of the learning process, interviews with students and teachers, and documentation of learning activities. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing using triangulation techniques to maintain data validity. The results showed that the use of keteng-keteng musical instruments helped students understand the concept of cylinders more concretely through direct observation of the shape, elements, and characteristics of cylinders. In addition, the use of this locally-based media was able to increase student engagement, interest in learning, and activity in the mathematics learning process. Thus, the keteng-keteng musical instrument can be used as an alternative contextual and meaningful learning media for mathematics in the subject of curved tube shapes.

This study aims to analyze the effect of deep learning on students' critical thinking skills in mathematics learning in grade XI high school. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design involving one experimental class and one control class. Deep learning treatment was given to the experimental class, while the control class followed conventional learning. Data on critical thinking skills were collected through a validated posttest. Data analysis was performed using the Shapiro–Wilk test to test normality, the Levene test to test homogeneity, and the independent samples t-test to test the difference in means between the two groups. The results of the analysis showed a significance value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the critical thinking skills of students in the experimental class and the control class. These findings indicate that deep learning has a positive and significant effect on improving students' critical thinking skills in mathematics learning.

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing a Project Based Learning (PjBL) based learning module on students' creative thinking abilities in solid geometry material through the creation of a Batak Toba traditional building miniature in junior high school. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design of the non-equivalent control group type. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class that received treatment using the PjBL-based module and the control class that used conventional learning. Data collection techniques were conducted through pretests and posttests using mathematical creative thinking ability test instruments referring to indicators of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. Data were analysed through normality tests, homogeneity tests, and Independent Sample t-Test. The results show that the data are normally distributed and homogeneous. The hypothesis test obtained a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a significant difference between the creative thinking abilities of students in the experimental and control classes. Thus, the implementation of the PjBL-based learning module through a Batak Toba traditional building miniature project has proven effective in enhancing the mathematical creative thinking abilities of junior high school students

This study aims to determine the effect of using ethnomathematics-based LKPD Rumah Bolon Batak Toba on the geometry learning outcomes of junior high school students. The research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design type pretest–posttest control group design. The research subjects consist of two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class, each comprising 20 students. Data were obtained through pretest and posttest, then analysed using normality test, homogeneity test, Independent Samples t-test, and N-Gain analysis. The analysis results show that the data are normally distributed and homogeneous. The t-test on posttest scores and N-Gain showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference in results and learning improvement between the experimental and control classes. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of ethnomathematics-based LKPD Rumah Bolon Batak Toba has a significant effect on improving learning outcomes. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of ethnomathematics-based LKPD of the Batak Toba Bolon House has a significant effect on improving the geometric learning outcomes of junior high school students.

This study aimed to determine the effect of project-based learning on students’ conceptual understanding of plane geometry at Bintang Laut Private Elementary School, Telukdalam. The study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method. The research subjects were fifth-grade students divided into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group was taught using the project-based learning model, while the control group received conventional instruction. The research instrument was a conceptual understanding test on plane geometry administered before and after the treatment (pretest and posttest). The collected data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics to identify differences in students’ conceptual understanding. The results revealed a significant improvement in students’ conceptual understanding in the experimental group after the implementation of project-based learning compared to the control group. Students taught through project-based learning demonstrated better abilities in understanding the properties of plane figures, applying formulas for area and perimeter, and relating mathematical concepts to real-life situations. These findings indicate that project-based learning is effective in enhancing elementary school students’ conceptual understanding of mathematics. Therefore, project-based learning is recommended as an innovative and contextual instructional strategy in elementary mathematics education.
