Abstract

The ability to solve physics problems is one of the goals in learning physics and a part of the current curriculum demands. One of the physics problems that are often the focus of attention in learning is Newton's law of motion. When solving physics problems on Newton's law of motion, students need to utilize various aspects of certain abilities and rules. The purpose of this study was to reveal how the students utilized aspects of the abilities and rules in problem-solving. The study was conducted by providing physics problems on Newton's law of motion to 105 high school students. The result showed that most students were able to write equations, solutions, and system of units correctly for each problem. However, students’ ability to determine the coordinate axes, depicts free-body diagrams, forces representation, and determine the resultant forces and direction of motion was unsatisfactory. Students tended to refer to the mathematical formulations in solving the problems. Therefore, physics learning that requires students to actively learn collaboratively, peer instruction, and procedural thinking can be used as an alternative learning strategy to overcome said problems.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a valid, practical, and effective Aksi learning model. The research method used is development research with adaptation of Thiagarajan development steps. Based on the results of the needs analysis on the questionnaire given to 15 science teachers in several regions in East Java, educators stated that the students' higher-order thinking skills were not optimal. Higher-order thinking skills show that students have C4, C5, and C6 knowledge abilities. Based on these data it is necessary to develop a learning model that fits the needs, the Aksi learning model. This research aims to develop a valid, practical, and effective Aksi learning model. The research method used is development research with an adaptation of the development steps developed by Thiagarajan. The 4D development model is carried out with 4 research stages namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Aksi learning model development research produces data in the form of valid, practical, and effective values. The Aksi learning model has a validity score of 88.10% in the very valid category. The practicality value of the observation of the implementation is 89.24% in the very practical category, the teacher response test was 89,38% in the very practical category, and the student response test was 84.12% in the very practical category. The value of the model's effectiveness is to get an N-gain score for high-level thinking skills, which is 0.7 in the high category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan hasil observasi dan diperoleh keterampilan komunikasi dan hasil belajar IPA siswa di SDN Banjarsengon 02 masih rendah. Salah satu upaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dibutuhkan media pembelajaran multimedia yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa era digital. Peneliti dalam hal ini mengembangkan e-worksheet berbasis multirepresentasi dalam pembelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini betrujuan sebagai pengembangkan e-worksheet berbasis multirepresentasi dalam pembelajaran IPA yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah R&D menggunakan model ADDIE dengan subjek penelitian adalah 66 siswa kelas VI di Banjarsengon 02 Kecamatan Patrang Kabupaten Jember. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, angket, tes, dan dokumentasi. Uji validitas dilakukan oleh dua orang dosen ahli, dan satu orang kepala sekolah yang memiliki kulifikasi Pendidikan S2 untuk melakukan validasi instrument sebelum uji lapangan. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data pendahuluan, data observasi dan wawancara pada penelitian pendahuluan dianalisa dengan analisis data kevalidan e-worksheet, analisis data kepraktisan e-worksheet, analisis data keefektifan. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini menunjukkan kevalidan silabus, RPP, e-worksheet, bahan ajar, Hasil tes hasil belajar masuk ke dalam kategori sangat valid dengan nilai median 4. Kepraktisan e-worksheet berbasis multirepresentasi berdasarkan hasil penilaian tiga observer pada dua kelas menyatakan bahwa e-worksheet yang dikembangkan sangat praktis dengan berada pada 98,82%. Keefektifan e-worksheet berbasis multirepresentasi berdasarkan hasil N-Gain yang diperoleh dari pre-test dan post-test diperoleh kategori tinggi, sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa e-worksheet berbasis multirepresentasi dinyatakan efektif digunakan dan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Kajian ini berawal dari kenyataan bahwa banyak siswa kelas IV SD Pahlawan yang memahami sulitnya peran dalam pelajaran IPA materi bunyi. Hal ini disebabkan guru tidak memberikan pelajaran IPA secara realistik sesuai dengan situasi konkrit siswa. Salah satu solusi untuk mengatasinya adalah dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. STAD merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran IPA. Dengan demikian, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV pada materi bunyi dengan model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning STAD. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan bentuk penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus dan setiap siklus bertemu. Penelitian dilakukan di SD Pahlawan dengan subjek penelitian kelas IV. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi dan tes. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis data kualitatif yang disajikan oleh mahasiswa Mike & Huberman pada materi pembelajaran IPA bunyi. Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada Pembelajaran Kooperatif STAD pada setiap siklus dapat dilihat rata-rata 62,59 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar 68% pada siklus I dan nilai rata-rata 65,25% dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar 88% pada siklus II. Jadi, materi pembelajaran bunyi dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of using a guided inquiry learning model on the computational thinking skills of junior high school students in science learning. The research was conducted with a quantitative approach through quasi-experimental research design. The subjects studied were students of SMP N 7 Jember, each consisting of 36 students including class VII B as a control class (applying a direct learning model) and VII F as an experimental class (applying a guided inquiry learning model). Data collection was carried out through the provision of computational thinking skills tests as many as 7 essay questions. Problems are developed based on indicators of computational thinking skills (decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction, and algorithms). The results of the independent sample t-test of the control class and experimental class obtained a value of Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 smaller than the significance level of 0.05. Based on the test criteria Independent sample t-test, it can be concluded that there is a significant comparison between pretest and posttest values in the control class and experimental class. Next, the right-party t-test was carried out with the results of a calculated value of 22.210 greater than ttable 1.996 with a significance level of 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the average scores of students' computational thinking skills in the control class and the experimental class. This shows that learning using a guided inquiry model is effective in improving the computational thinking skills of junior high school students in science learning.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji pengaruh dan peningkatan pemanfaatan video fenomena alam terhadap kreativitas ilmiah siswa. Penelitian eksperimen ini menggunakan desain penelitian eksperimen quasi dengan rancangan nonequivalent control-group design. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes kreativitas ilmiah yang hasilnya dianalisis menggunakan uji N-Gain dan independent sample t-test. Berdasarkan hasil uji N-Gain, diperoleh peningkatan kreativitas ilmiah pada kelas eksperimen dalam kategori sedang dan pada kelas kontrol dalam kategori rendah. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan perbedaan nilai yang signifikan antara kelas control dan eksperimen. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil bahwa pemanfaatan video fenomena alam dalam pembelajaran IPA materi lapisan bumi dapat meningkatkan kreativitas ilmiah siswa dalam kategori sedang serta berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kreativitas ilmiah siswa MTsAbstract The purpose of this study was to examine the effect and increase in the use of videos of natural phenomena on students' scientific innovation. This experimental study used a quasi-experimental research design with a nonequivalent control-group design. The research instrument was a scientific creativity test, the results of which were analyzed using the N-Gain test and independent sample t-test. Based on the results of the N-Gain test, there was an increase in scientific creativity in the experimental class in the medium category and in the control class in the low category. The results of the hypothesis test showed a significant difference in values between the control and experimental classes. The conclusion that can be drawn is that the use of videos of natural phenomena in natural science learning for earth layer material can increase students' scientific creativity in the medium category, which has a significant effect on scientific innovation of junior high school students.

Abstract

Even though the Regional Regulation on the Regional RTRW of Sungai Banyak City has been stipulated, the use of existing space is not yet in accordance with the plans that have been determined. This is indicated by the fact that the building does not meet the building construction requirements for both KDB, GSB and KDH. Provisions on Incentives and Disincentives Related to Licensing for Space Utilization in Trade and Service Zones based on the Regional Regulation on the RTRW of Sungai Banyak City have not been implemented effectively, this can be seen from the 182 Building Approvals that have been issued by the Sungai Full City Government from 2021 to 2023, they are not implemented provisions for incentives and disincentives for controlling space utilization. Factors that become obstacles include the fact that the Regional Regulation has not yet been established, there is still a lack of Satpol PP members, the facilities and infrastructure are still not complete, the community's legal awareness is still low, and people are building houses using the process of adjunct direction from traditional institutions. The efforts made by the Regional Government of Sungai Banyak City to overcome these obstacles include drafting the Draft Regional Regulation on the RTRW Revision, proposing additional members of the Civil Service Police Unit, maximizing honorary personnel, procuring facilities and infrastructure, socializing the Regional Regulation on Spatial Planning to the community, collaborating with traditional institutions in the planning process , utilization and control of the spatial planning of Sungai Banyak City.

Abstract

The Jambi City Government has regulated the handling of beggars on public roads in Article 504 of the Criminal Code. Of the many beggars in Jambi City, not all of them have been rehabilitated through the Jambi City Social Service and not a single beggar has been sanctioned on Jambi City's public roads. The aim of this research is to understand and analyze the factors that cause the number of beggars on public roads to increase in Jambi City, the effectiveness of sanctions against beggars on public roads based on Article 504 of the Criminal Code in the jurisdiction of Jambi City and the obstacles and efforts in Minimize begging on public roads in the jurisdiction of Jambi City. The theories used in this writing are effectiveness theory, criminology theory and effort theory. This type of research is empirical legal research. The discussion explains that the factors causing the increase in the number of beggars on public roads in Jambi City are physical condition and age, family economic conditions, employment opportunities, perception of begging, high income, begging is an easy job, strategic location and capital. The effectiveness of sanctions against beggars on public roads based on Article 504 of the Criminal Code in the jurisdiction of Jambi City has not been effective either by the city of Jambi, in this case the Jambi City Social Service, the Jambi City Civil Service Police Unit and the police due to misunderstandings related to the content. Article 504 of the Criminal Code. The obstacles and efforts in minimizing begging on public roads in the Jambi City jurisdiction are the lack of infrastructure and lack of legal understanding among the people of Jambi City. The efforts made are that the Jambi City Social Service formed a team to arrest beggars in Jambi City, carry out raids and train- training carried out by the Jambi City Social Service and the private sector.

Abstract

Defamation (Defamation) is a criminal act of insult (Beleediging) formed by the legislators, both general and specific in nature and is intended to provide protection for legal interests regarding this kind of feeling. The purpose of this study is to understand and analyze the legal considerations of judges in passing decisions on perpetrators of defamation through the media of information technology (Decision Study Number: 212/Pid. Sus/2019/PN.Jmb). To understand and analyze the verdict handed down against the perpetrators of defamation through information technology media (Decision Study Number: 212/Pid. Sus/2019/PN.Jmb) has it reflected justice. The specification of this research is descriptive analytical research. In writing this thesis the author uses the Normative Juridical approach. The legal material in this thesis research was obtained through library research. Based on this consideration it has been proven legally and convincingly that the defendant has committed a crime, then the defendant must be declared guilty and the defendant must be sentenced to a sentence commensurate with his actions which the threat is according to Article 45 paragraph (3) in conjunction with Article 27 paragraph (3) of the Law Republic of Indonesia Number 19 of 2016 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions, the perpetrator is threatened with imprisonment for a maximum of 4 (four) years. However, in this case the defendant was sentenced to 8 (eight) months in prison based on decision Number: 212/Pid.Sus/2019/ PN.Jmb dated 9 May 2019. From a sociological perspective, the sentence of the defendant for 8 months is in accordance with the legal actions carried out by the defendant, although from the point of view of the victim it does not guarantee a sense of justice, it is also less preventive for potential perpetrators of other criminal acts of defamation. Because the sentencing felt so light that the value of the usefulness of the decision was felt to be less acceptable. From a philosophical aspect, to guarantee recognition and respect for the rights and freedoms of others and to fulfill just demands in accordance with security and public order considerations in a democratic society, for the realization of quality, integrity and noble human beings. Suggestions put forward that a judge should have a fair decision in his verdict so that the principle of an independent and impartial judiciary that guarantees the equality of every citizen in law runs well.
