Abstract

Abstract

The advancement of information technology provides ease of learning. However, learning media in schools usually depends on average electrical settings and electronic devices to support information technology (IT). The learning media in Indonesia generally depends on the utilization of PLN's electrical energy. It is undeniable that electricity is a basic need in teaching and learning activities today, even though the existence of electrical installations in the midst of children saves dangers that need to be anticipated. The solution is to provide socialization and education on child-friendly technology. In this case, the school community will be introduced to utilizing and building safe electrical installations for children. In principle, some electrical components available on the market will have their own level of safety, and safe and child-friendly components must be chosen. Furthermore, electrical installations will be built with solar energy sources because the technology has many advantages, including renewable energy, without high-voltage cable networks, and providing efficiency in school operational costs. It is more important that solar electricity can work at low voltages to be safe in children's environments. The result at the activity location installed electricity from Solar Power Plant with a 300 Watt inverter to provide electricity for school computer devices. In addition, 10 outdoor lighting points are installed that are set to turn on and off automatically. The main goal to provide efficient and safe electrical facilities for children has been well realized.

Abstract

In the cultivation of peanuts in Indonesia, especially in dry land with various limited plant growth factors, the main obstacle to planting in dry land is the uncertain level of water availability. One of the efforts to overcome the problem of water availability on dry land is to plant drought-resistant peanut varieties including local superior varieties and national superior varieties that are tolerant of water shortage conditions and have high production potential. The purpose of this study was to study the resistance of several peanut varieties to soil moisture or water availability for plants. This study used a factorial randomized block design. The first factor is plant variety, consisting of V1 = hypoma-1, V2 = hypoma-3, and V3 = local, the second factor is soil moisture, consisting of K1 = 25% field capacity, K2 = 50% lang capacity, K3 = 75% field capacity and K4= Normal (100% field capacity). The results showed that the interaction between plant variety and field capacity had no significant effect on all of the observed parameters. Plant variety had a significant effect on plant height at the beginning of growth, while soil moisture had a significant effect on leaf number at the end of growth, number of pods, pod weight, seed weight per plant, 100 seed weight, and plant productivity. Soil moisture at 50% and 75% resulted in plant productivity not significantly different.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the effect of the type of substrate and concentration of AB Mix on the results of kailan plants.  The research used a completely randomized design with eight treatment combinations, four replications, and three samples in each replication. The treatment combination are S1K1 (wood powder and AB Mix 4 ml/l); S2K1 (Sphagnum and AB Mix 4 ml/l); S3K1 (husk charcoal and AB Mix 4 ml/l); S4K1 (Cocopeat and AB Mix 4 ml/l); S1K2 (Wood powder and AB Mix 6 ml/l); S2K2 (Sphagnum and AB Mix 6ml/l); S3K2 (Charcoal husk and AB Mix 6 ml/l) and S4K2 (Cocopeat and AB Mix 6 ml/l). The results showed there is an interaction between the type of substrate and the concentration of AB Mix on the wet weight of the plant (your crop yield). The highest plant yields were obtained using husk charcoal substrate and AB Mix 6 ml/l. The husk charcoal substrate can produce the highest leaf area, but AB Mix 4 - 6 ml/l can not affect plant growth.
